1Flexible MXene films for batteries and beyond显示文摘MXenes add dozens of metallic conductors to the family of two-dimensional(2D)materials.A top-down synthesis approach removing A-layer atoms(e.g.,Al,Si,and Ga)in MAX phases to produce 2D flakes attaches various surface terminations to MXenes.With these terminations,MXenes show tunable properties,promising a range of applications from energy storage devices to electronics,including sensors,transistors,and antennas.MXenes are also excellent building blocks to create flexible films used for flexible and wearable devices.This article summarizes the synthesis of MXene flakes and highlights aspects that need attention for flexible devices.Rather than listing the development of energy storage devices in detail,we focus on the main challenges of and solutions for constructing high-performance devices.Moreover,we show the applications of MXene films in electronics to call on designs to construct a complete system based on MXene with good flexibility,which consists of a power source,sensors,transistors,and wireless communications.Yang Huang Qiongqiong Lu Dianlun Wu Yue Jiang Zhenjie Liu Bin Chen Minshen Zhu Oliver GSchmidt 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,4:3

5Earth-abundant coal-derived carbon nanotube/carbon composites as efficient bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts for rechargeable zinc-air batteries显示文摘The exploration of active and robust electrocatalysts for both the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is the bottleneck to realize the commercialization of rechargeable metal-air batteries and regenerative fuel cells.Here we report facile synthesis of three-dimensional(3 D)carbon nanotube(CNT)/carbon composites using earth-abundant coal as the carbon source,hydrogen reductant and heteroatom dopant to grow CNTs.The prepared composite featuring 3 D structural merits and multiple active sites can efficiently catalyze both ORR and OER,affording high activity,fast kinetics,and long-term stability.With the additional incorporation of manganese,the developed catalyst afforded a potential difference of 0.80 V between ORR at the half wave potential and OER at a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2).The optimized sample has presented excellent OER performance within a constructed solar-powered water splitting system with continuously generating oxygen bubbles at anode.Notably,it can be further used as a durable air-electrode catalyst in constructed Zn-air battery,delivering an initial discharge/charge voltage gap of 0.73 V,a remained voltaic efficiency of 61.2%after 160 cycles and capability to power LED light for at least 80 h.This study provides an efficient approach for converting traditional energy resource i.e.coal to value-added alternative oxygen electrocatalysts in renewable energy conversion systems.Zhenjie Lu Songdong Yao Yanzeng Dong Dongling Wu Haoran Pan Xinning Huang Tao Wang Zhenyu Sun Xingxing Chen 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:1

9Selectively converting CO_(2) to HCOOH on Cu-alloys integrated in hematite-driven artificial photosynthetic cells显示文摘The integration of electrochemical CO_(2)reduction(CO_(2)RR) and photoelectrochemical water oxidation offers a sustainable access to valuable chemicals and fuels. Here, we develop a rapidly annealed hematite photoanode with a photocurrent density of 2.83 mA cm^(-2)at 1.7 VRHEto drive the full-reaction. We also present Cu-alloys electrocatalysis extended from CuInSnS4, which are superior in both activity and selectivity for CO_(2)RR. Specifically, the screened CuInSn achieves a CO_(2)to HCOOH Faradaic efficiency of 93% at a cell voltage of-2.0 V by assembling into artificial photosynthesis cell. The stability test of IT exhibits less than 3% degradation over 24 h. Furthermore, in-situ Raman spectroscopy reveals that both CO_(3)^(-2)and CO_(2)are involved in CO_(2)RR as reactants. 10Preliminary Results of the Seismicity Monitoring Experiment around the 2019 Mw5.4 Earthquake Epicenter in the Central South China Sea Basin显示文摘On September 5,2019,a moderate earthquake of Mw5.4 unexpectedly occurred in the apparently quiescent central basin of the South China Sea.We immediately carried out a seismicity monitoring experiment around the epicenter by using broadband ocean bottom seismometers(OBS)for the following three scientific targets.The first is knowing the earthquake seismogenic mechanism,fault structure and further development.The second is finding the role of the residual spreading ridge playing in earthquake processes and further revealing the deep structures of the ridge directional turning area.The third is confirming the existence and significance of the so called“Zhongnan fault”.This paper reports the preliminary results of the first phase experiment.Five OBSs were deployed for seismicity monitoring with a duration of 288 days,but only three were recovered.Micro-earthquakes were firstly detected by an automatic seismic phase picking algorithm and then were verified by analyzing their seismic phases and time-frequency characteristics in detail.A total of 21,68 and 89 microearthquakes were picked out from the three OBSs respectively within the distance of 30 km.The dominant frequency of these micro-earthquakes is 12-15 Hz,indicating tectonic fracturing.During the first two months after the mainshock the seismicity was relatively stronger,and micro-earthquakes were still occurring occasionally till the end of observation,indicating the epicenter area is active.We used Match&Locate method to locate 57 micro-earthquakes preliminarily.Their spatial distribution shows that the seismicity is developed mainly along the NE direction roughly parallel to the residual ridge with depth variations between 10-20 km.Wenfei Gong Aiguo Ruan Xiongwei Niu Zhenjie Wang Pingchuan Tan Xiaodong Wei Wei Wang Zhengyi Tong Liqun Cheng Fansheng Kong Shaoping Lu Jianke Fan Weiwei Ding Jinyao Gao Chunguo Yang Jiabiao Li 2024Journal of Earth Science2024,35,1:0

12Metallocorrole-based porous organic polymers as a heterogeneous catalytic nanoplatform for efficient carbon dioxide conversion显示文摘Metallocorrole macrocycles that represent a burgeoning class of attractive metal-complexes from the porphyrinoid family,have attracted great interest in recent years owing to their unique structure and excellent performance revealed in many fields,yet further functionalization through incorporating these motifs into porous nanomaterials employing the bottom-up approach is still scarce and remains synthetically challenging.Here,we report the targeted synthesis of porous organic polymers(POPs)constructed from custom-designed Mn and Fe-corrole complex building units,respectively denoted as CorPOP-1(Mn)and CorPOP-1(FeCl).Specifically,the robust CorPOP-1(Mn)bearing Mn-corrole active centers displays superior heterogeneous catalytic activity toward solvent-free cycloaddition of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))with epoxides to form cyclic carbonates under mild reaction conditions as compared with the homogeneous counterpart.CorPOP-1(Mn)can be easily recycled and does not show significant loss of reactivity after seven successive cycles.This work highlights the potential of metallocorrole-based porous solid catalysts for targeting CO_(2) transformations,and would provide a guide for the task-specific development of more corrole-based multifunctional materials for extended applications.Yanming Zhao Yunlei Peng Chuan Shan Zhou Lu Lukasz Wojtas Zhenjie Zhang Bao Zhang Yaqing Feng Shengqian Ma 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:0
