| 2 | High-resolution, full-color quantum dot light-emitting diode display fabricated via photolithography approach显示文摘Displays play an extremely important role in modern information society,which creates a never-ending demand for the new and better products and technologies.The latest requirements for novel display technologies focus on high resolution and high color gamut.Among emerging technologies that include organic light-emitting diode(OL ED),micro light-emiting diode(micro-LED),quantum dot light-emitting diode(QLED),laser display,holographic display and others,QLED is promising owing to its intrinsic high color gamut and the possibility to achieve high resolution with photolithography approach.However,previously demonstrated photolthography techniques suffer from reduced device performance and color Impurities in subpixels from the process.In this study,we demonstrated a sacrificial layer assisted patterming(SLAP)approach,which can be applied in conjunction with photolithography to fabricate high-resolution,full-colo quantum dot(QD)patterns.In this approach,the negative photoresist(PR)and sacrificial layer(SL)were uilized to determine the pixels for QD deposition,while at the same time the SL helps protect the QD layer and keep it intact(named PR-SL approach).To prove this method's viability for QLED display manufacture,a 500-ppi,full-color passive matrix(PM)-QLED prototype was fabricated via this process.Results show that there were no color impurities in the subpixels,and the PM-QL ED has a high color gamut of 114%National Television Standards Committee(NTSC).To the best of our knowledge,this is the first ull-olor QLED prototype with such a high resolution.We anticipate that this innovative patteming technique will open a new horizon for future display technologies and may lead to a disruptive and innovative change in display industry. | Wenhai Mei Zhenqi Zhang Aidi Zhang Dong Li Xiaoyuan Zhang Haowei Wang Zhuo Chen Yanzhao Li Xinguo Li Xiaoguang Xu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,9: | 6 |
| 3 | Effects of the Fhb1 gene on Fusarium head blight resistance and agronomic traits of winter wheat显示文摘The gene Fhb1 has been used in many countries to improve wheat Fusarium head blight(FHB) resistance. To make better use of this gene in the Yellow-Huai River Valleys Winter Wheat Zone(YHWZ), the most important wheat-producing region of China, it is desirable to elucidate its effects on FHB resistance and agronomic traits in different genetic backgrounds. Based on a diagnostic marker for Fhb1, six BC2 populations were developed by crossing dwarf-male-sterile(DMS)-Zhoumai 16 to three Fhb1 donors(Ningmai 9, Ningmai 13, and Jianyang 84) and backcrossing to Zhoumai 16 and Zhoumai16’s derivative cultivars(Lunxuan 136 and Lunxuan 13) using marker-assisted backcross breeding. The progenies were assessed for FHB resistance and major agronomic traits.The Fhb1 alleles were identified using the gene-specific molecular marker. The plants with the Fhb1-resistant genotype(Fhb1-R) in these populations showed significantly fewer infected spikelets than those with the Fhb1-susceptible genotype(Fhb1-S). When Lunxuan 136 was used as the recurrent parent, Fhb1-R plants showed significantly fewer infected spikelets per spike than Fhb1-R plants produced using Lunxuan 13 as the recurrent parent, indicating that the genetic backgrounds of Fhb1 influence the expression of FHB resistance. Fhb1-R plants from the DMS-Zhoumai 16/Ningmai 9//Zhoumai 16/3/Lunxuan 136 population showed the highest FHB resistance among the six populations and a significantly higher level of FHB resistance than the moderately susceptible control Huaimai 20. No significant phenotypic differences between Fhb1-R and Fhb1-S plants were observed for the eight agronomic traits investigated. | 4 | PCN-Fe(Ⅲ)-PTX nanoparticles for MRI guided high efficiency chemo-photodynamic therapy in pancreatic cancer through alleviating tumor hypoxia显示文摘As nanomedicine-based clinical strategies have continued to develop,the possibility of combining chemotherapy and singlet oxygen-dependent photodynamic therapy(PDT)to treat pancreatic cancer(PaC)has emerged as a viable therapeutic modality.The efficacy of such an approach,however,is likely to be constrained by the mechanisms of drug release and tumor oxygen levels.In the present study,we developed an Fe(Ⅲ)-complexed porous coordination network(PCN)which we then used to encapsulate PTX(PCN-Fe(Ⅲ)-PTX)nanoparticles(NPs)in order to treat PaC via a combination of chemotherapy and PDT.The resultant NPs were able to release drug in response to both laser irradiation and pH changes to promote drug accumulation within tumors.Furthermore,through a Fe(Ⅲ)-based Fenton-like reaction these NPs were able to convert H2O2 in the tumor site to O2,thereby regulating local hypoxic conditions and enhancing the efficacy of PDT approaches.Also these NPs were suitable for use as a T1-MRI weighted contrast agent,making them viable for monitoring therapeutic efficacy upon treatment.Our results in both cell line and animal models of PaC suggest that these NPs represent an ideal agent for mediating effective MRI-guided chemotherapy-PDT,giving them great promise for the clinical treatment of PaC. | Tao Zhang Zhenqi Jiang Libin Chen Chunshu Pan Shan Sun Chuang Liu Zihou Li Wenzhi Ren Aiguo Wu Pintong Huang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,1: | 4 |
| 5 | Ectopic expression of VRT-A2 underlies the origin of Triticum polonicum and Triticum petropavlovskyi with long outer glumes and grains显示文摘Polish wheat (Triticum polonicum) is a unique tetraploid wheat species characterized by an elongated outer glume. The genetic control of the long-glume trait by a single semi-dominant locus, P1 (from Polish wheat), was established more than 100 years ago, but the underlying causal gene and molecular nature remain elusive. Here, we report the isolation of VRT-A2, encoding an SVP-clade MADS-box transcription factor, as the P1 candidate gene. Genetic evidence suggests that in T. polonicum, a naturally occurring sequence rearrangement in the intron-1 region of VRT-A2 leads to ectopic expression of VRT-A2 in floral organs where the long-glume phenotype appears. Interestingly, we found that the intron-1 region is a key ON/OFF molecular switch for VRT-A2 expression, not only because it recruits transcriptional repressors, but also because it confers intron-mediated transcriptional enhancement. Genotypic analyses using wheat accessions indicated that the P1 locus is likely derived from a single natural mutation in tetraploid wheat, which was subsequently inherited by hexaploid T. petropavlovskyi. | 6 | A parameterization scheme of vertical mixing due to inertial internal wave breaking in the ocean general circulation model显示文摘Based on the theoretical spectral model of inertial internal wave breaking(fine structure) proposed previously, in which the effects of the horizontal Coriolis frequency component f-tilde on a potential isopycnal are taken into account, a parameterization scheme of vertical mixing in the stably stratified interior below the surface mixed layer in the ocean general circulation model(OGCM) is put forward preliminarily in this paper. Besides turbulence, the impact of sub-mesoscale oceanic processes(including inertial internal wave breaking product) on oceanic interior mixing is emphasized. We suggest that adding the inertial internal wave breaking mixing scheme(F-scheme for short) put forward in this paper to the turbulence mixing scheme of Canuto et al.( T-scheme for short) in the OGCM, except the region from 15°S to 15°N. The numerical results of F-scheme by using WOA09 data and an OGCM(LICOM, LASG/IAP climate system ocean model) over the global ocean are given. A notable improvement in the simulation of salinity and temperature over the global ocean is attained by using T-scheme adding F-scheme, especially in the mid- and high-latitude regions in the simulation of the intermediate water and deep water. We conjecture that the inertial internal wave breaking mixing and inertial forcing of wind might be one of important mechanisms maintaining the ventilation process. The modeling strength of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation(AMOC) by using T-scheme adding F-scheme may be more reasonable than that by using T-scheme alone, though the physical processes need to be further studied, and the overflow parameterization needs to be incorporated. | 7 | An experimental study on microscopic characteristics of gas-bearing sediments under different gas reservoir pressures显示文摘Gas-bearing sediments are widely distributed in five continents all over the world.Most of the gases exist in the soil skeleton in the form of discrete large bubbles.The existence of gas-phase may increase or decrease the strength of the soil skeleton.So far,bubbles’structural morphology and evolution characteristics in soil skeleton lack research,and the influence of different gas reservoir pressures on bubbles are still unclear.The micro characteristics of bubbles in the same sediment sample were studied using an industrial CT scanning test system to solve these problems.Using the image processing software,the micro variation characteristics of gas-bearing sediments in gas reservoir pressure change are obtained.The results show that the number and volume of bubbles in different equivalent radius ranges will change regularly under different gas reservoir pressure.With the increase of gas reservoir pressure,the number and volume of tiny bubbles decrease.In contrast,the number and volume of large bubbles increase,and the gas content in different positions increases and occupies a dominant position,driving the reduction of pore water and soil skeleton movement. | Zhenqi Guo Tao Liu Lei Guo Xiuting Su Yan Zhang Sanpeng Li | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,10: | 2 |
| 8 | Meta-analysis of QTL for Fusarium head blight resistance in Chinese wheat landraces显示文摘Epidemics of Fusarium head blight(FHB), incited by Fusarium graminearum Schwabe, in wheat cause significant reductions in grain yield and quality. Numerous quantitative trait loci(QTL) for FHB resistance have been reported from Chinese sources. However, the relationships among QTL from different landraces have not been characterized. We earlier mapped QTL for FHB resistance using low-density maps developed from five recombinant inbred line(RIL) populations involving Chinese landraces ‘Haiyanzhong’(HYZ),‘Wangshuibai’(WSB), ‘Baishanyuehuang’(BSYH), ‘Huangfangzhu’(HFZ), and‘Huangcandou’(HCD) as FHB resistant parents. In this study, we used maps of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) developed from the five populations and identified 31 QTL on 16 chromosomes;10 QTL were new. We constructed a consensus map and identified six meta-QTL(MQTL) and SNP within the MQTL regions using meta-analysis. Two of the MQTL were on chromosome 3 BS(3 BSd and 3 BSc), and one on each of chromosomes 3A, 2D, 3D,and 4D. | 9 | Identification of key precursors contributing to the formation of CX_(3)R-type disinfection by-products along the typical full-scale drinking water treatment processes显示文摘Identification and characterization of disinfection by-product(DBP)precursors could help optimize drinkingwater treatment processes and improve the quality of finishedwater.This study comprehensively investigated the characteristics of dissolved organic matter(DOM),the hydrophilicity and molecule weight(MW)of DBP precursor and DBP-associated toxicity along the typical full-scale treatment processes.The results showed that dissolved organic carbon and dissolved organic nitrogen content,the fluorescence intensity and the SUVA254 value in raw water significantly decreased after the whole treatment processes.Conventional treatment processes were in favor of the removal of high-MW and hydrophobic DOM,which are important precursors of trihalomethane and haloacetic acid.Compared with conventional treatment processes,Ozone integrated with biological activated carbon(O3-BAC)processes enhanced the removal efficiencies of DOM with different MW and hydrophobic fractions,leading to a further decrease in almost all DBP formation potential and DBP-associated toxicity.However,almost 50%of the detected DBP precursors in raw water has not been removed after the coagulation-sedimentation-filtration integrated with O3-BAC advanced treatment processes.These remaining precursors were found to be mainly hydrophilic and low-MW(<1.0 kDa)organics.Moreover,they would largely contribute to the formation of haloacetaldehydes and haloacetonitriles,which dominated the calculated cytotoxicity.Since current drinking water treatment process could not effectively control the highly toxic DBPs,the removal of hydrophilic and low-MW organics in drinking water treatment plants should be focused on in the future. | Xu Yang Shunke Ding Rong Xiao PinWang Zhenqi Du Ruihua Zhang Wenhai Chu | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,6: | 2 |

| 20 | Microstructure Features and the Macroscopic Acoustic Behavior of Gassy Silt in the Yellow River Delta显示文摘The morphological changes in isolated bubbles in gassy silt play a critical role in the microscopic structures between soil particles and bubbles and macroscopic physical properties.Based on X-ray CT scanning experiments under various vertical loads(four levels),self-designed acoustic macro experiments,and a series of formula revisions to the macro-air-bearing silt sound-velocity prediction model,this paper discusses the macro-and micro-scale features of gassy silts from the Yellow River Delta.The samples consisted of different proportions of silt from the Yellow River Delta and porous media,and they were used to form two types of aerosol silts with initial gas contents of 4.23%and 7.67%.The results show that the air bubble content and external load considerably affect the microstructural parameters and acoustic behavior of gassy silt in the Yellow River Delta.The macroscopic sound velocity showed a linear positive correlation with vertical load and relation to microstructural parameters in varying manners and degrees.Based on the traditional Biot-Stoll acoustic model,the gas-phase medium coefficient was introduced for the proper calculation and prediction of the sound velocity of air-bearing silt.The errors of the overall prediction varied between 5.6%and 9.6%. | LIU Tao GUO Zhenqi ZHANG Yan WU Chen LIU Lele DENG Shenggui | 2024 | Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,2: | 0 |
