| 1 | Distribution,formation and evolution of sand ridges on the East China Sea shelf显示文摘Based on the integrated results of multiple data types including MBES (Multi-Beam Echo Sounding) and historical topography maps,the LSR (Linear Sand Ridges) on the ECS (East China Sea) shelf are identified,divided into subareas,and classified.The distribution of sand ridge crests is also established.The strikes of the LSR on the ECS shelf fall in a normal distribution with the center point being 155° azimuth with additional peak points at 125°,130°,140°,and 180° azimuth.The distribution of the ECS shelf sand ridges is congested in the central area,sparse in the south and north ends,divergent and bifurcated in the eastern area,and densely convergent in the western area.The LSR are divided into seven subzones according to the strikes and distribution of the sand ridges;estuary mouth ridges and open shelf sand ridges are identified and marked out.The high amplitude change of sea level resulting from the glacial-interglacial cycle is the main cause of the vast development of sand ridges on the ECS shelf.Abundant sediments on the shelf carried by the PYR (Paleo-Yangtze River) are the material source for the LSR formation,and the negative seafloor topography influences the strikes of LSR.Based on the effects of LSR distribution,change of sea level,and the simulation of ancient tidal currents,the evolution of the LSR on the ECS shelf is divided into four main stages:Stage Ⅰ before 14.5 ka BP,Stage Ⅱ between 12 and 14 ka BP,Stage Ⅲ from 1.5 to 9.5 ka BP,and Stage Ⅳ after 9 ka BP. | WU ZiYin JIN XiangLong CAO ZhenYi LI JiaBiao ZHENG YuLong SHANG JiHong | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,1: | 9 |
| 2 | Humidity Sensing of Stretchable and Transparent Hydrogel Films for Wireless Respiration Monitoring显示文摘Respiratory monitoring plays a pivotal role in health assessment and provides an important application prospect for flexible humidity sensors.However,traditional humidity sensors suffer from a trade-off between deformability,sensitivity,and transparency,and thus the development of high-performance,stretchable,and low-cost humidity sensors is urgently needed as wearable electronics.Here,ultrasensitive,highly deformable,and transparent humidity sensors are fabricated based on cost-effective polyacrylamide-based double network hydrogels.Concomitantly,a general method for preparing hydrogel films with controllable thickness is proposed to boost the sensitivity of hydrogel-based sensors due to the extensively increased specific surface area,which can be applied to different polymer networks and facilitate the development of flexible integrated electronics.In addition,sustainable tapioca rich in hydrophilic polar groups is introduced for the first time as a second cross-linked network,exhibiting excellent water adsorption capacity.Through the synergistic optimization of structure and composition,the obtained hydrogel film exhibits an ultrahigh sensitivity of 13,462.1%/%RH,which is unprecedented.Moreover,the hydrogel film-based sensor exhibits excellent repeatability and the ability to work normally under stretching with even enhanced sensitivity.As a proof of concept,we integrate the stretchable sensor with a specially designed wireless circuit and mask to fabricate a wireless respiratory interruption detection system with Bluetooth transmission,enabling real-time monitoring of human health status.This work provides a general strategy to construct high-performance,stretchable,and miniaturized hydrogel-based sensors as next-generation wearable devices for real-time monitoring of various physiological signals. | Yuning Liang Qiongling Ding Hao Wang Zixuan Wu Jianye Li Zhenyi Li Kai Tao Xuchun Gui Jin Wu | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,11: | 5 |

| 5 | A viral protein orchestrates rice ethylene signaling to coordinate viral infection and insect vector-mediated transmission显示文摘Arthropod-borne viruses cause serious threats to human health and global agriculture by rapidly spreading via insect vectors. Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus (SRBSDV) is the most damaging rice-infecting virus that is frequently transmitted by planthoppers. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying its propagation in the host plants and epidemics in the field are largely unknown. Here, we showed that the SRBSDV-encoded P6 protein is a key effector that regulates rice ethylene signaling to coordinate viral infection and transmission. In early SRBSDV infection, P6 interacts with OsRTH2 in the cytoplasm to activate ethylene signaling and enhance SRBSDV proliferation;this also repels the insect vector to reduce infestation. In late infection, P6 enters the nucleus, where it interacts with OsEIL2, a key transcription factor of ethylene signaling. The P6-OsEIL2 interaction suppresses ethylene signaling by preventing the dimerization of OsEIL2, thereby facilitating viral transmission by attracting the insect vector. | 7 | Characterization and analysis of DLC films with different thickness deposited by RF magnetron PECVD显示文摘Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films have excellent mechanical and chemical properties similar to those of crystalline diamond giving them wide applications as protective coatings. So far, a variety of methods are employed to deposit DLC films. In this study, DLC films with different thicknesses were deposited on Si and glass substrates using RF magnetron PECVD method with C 4 H 10 as carbon source. The bonding microstructure, surface morphology and tribological properties at different growing stages of the DLC films were tested. Raman spectra were deconvoluted into D peak at about 1370 cm 1 and G peak around 1590 cm 1 , indicating typical features of the DLC films. A linear relationship between the film thickness and the deposition time was found, revealing that the required film thickness may be obtained by the appropriate tune of the deposition time. The concentration of sp 3 and sp 2 carbon atoms in the DLC films was measured by XPS spectra. As the films grew, the sp 3 carbon atoms decreased while sp 2 atoms increased. Surface morphology of the DLC films clearly showed that the films were composed of spherical carbon clusters, which tended to congregate as the deposition time increased. The friction coefficient of the films was very low and an increase was also found with the increase of film thickness corresponding to the results of XPS spectra. | 8 | Signaling pathways and targeted therapies in lung squamous cell carcinoma: mechanisms and clinical trials显示文摘Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death across the world.Unlike lung adenocarcinoma,patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)have not benefitted from targeted therapies.Although immunotherapy has significantly improved cancer patients’outcomes,the relatively low response rate and severe adverse events hinder the clinical application of this promising treatment in LSCC.Therefore,it is of vital importance to have a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of LSCC as well as the inner connection among different signaling pathways,which will surely provide opportunities for more effective therapeutic interventions for LSCC.In this review,new insights were given about classical signaling pathways which have been proved in other cancer types but not in LSCC,including PI3K signaling pathway,VEGF/VEGFR signaling,and CDK4/6 pathway.Other signaling pathways which may have therapeutic potentials in LSCC were also discussed,including the FGFR1 pathway,EGFR pathway,and KEAP1/NRF2 pathway.Next,chromosome 3q,which harbors two key squamous differentiation markers SOX2 and TP63 is discussed as well as its related potential therapeutic targets.We also provided some progress of LSCC in epigenetic therapies and immune checkpoints blockade(ICB)therapies.Subsequently,we outlined some combination strategies of ICB therapies and other targeted therapies.Finally,prospects and challenges were given related to the exploration and application of novel therapeutic strategies for LSCC. | Zhenyi Niu Runsen Jin Yan Zhang Hecheng Li | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,11: | 3 |
| 9 | Influence of Sanao Tang on urine volume and expression of aquaporin 2 in rats with respiratory function impairment induced by passive smoking and lipopolysaccharide显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Sanao Tang(SAT) on urine volume and the expression of aquaporin-2(AQP2) in rats with lung dysfunction induced by passive smoking and lipopolysaccharide.METHODS: Totally 45 healthy Specific pathogen Free Wistar Rats were randomized into 3 groups:normal control group, model group and SAT group.A rat model of respiratory dysfunction induced by exposure to cigarette smoking and lipopolysaccharide(LPS). Lavage of decoction of the Chinese medicine was performed for rats in the SAT group. Anires 2005 System was used to analyze the pulmonary function. Urine of rats was collected through metabolism cage method. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to determine content of antidiuretic hormone(ADH), angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ), atrial natriuretic factor(ANP), endothelin 1(ET-1), nitric oxide(NO) and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) in serum, lung and kidney. The expression of AQP2 in rat renal tissue was determined with real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-PCR).RESULTS:(a) In comparison with the normal control, It was found that enforced vital capacity(FVC),1-second forced expiratory volume/forced vital capacity%(FEV1/FVC%), 24 h urine volume content of NO and PGE2 were decreased, while AQP2 m RNA level and content of ADH, Agn Ⅱ, ANP and ET-1were increased in the model group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(b) In comparison with the model group, It was found that FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, 24 h urine volume, content of PGE2 and NO decreased, while AQP2 m RNA level, content of ANP,ADH and AngⅡ decreased in the SAT group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: SAT might effectively regulate the urine volume in the modeled rats; ADH, Ang Ⅱ,ANP, ET-1, NO and PGE2 might play an important role in the regulation on urine volume by lungs.This might be the mechanisms underpinning the function of lung governing water passage in terms of the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. | Zhang Jinchao Sun Yan Zhang Shujing Gao Yushan Wang Zhenyi Liu Xiaolei Yang Jiamin Li Yuhang | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,6: | 2 |

| 15 | Experimental and Numerical Study on the Gas Explosion in Urban Regulator Station显示文摘Regulator station is an important part in the urban gas transmission and distribution system.Once gas explosion occurs,the real explosion process and consequences of methane gas explosion in the regulator station were not revealed systematically.In this study,a full-scale experiment was carried out to simulate the regulator station explosion process,and some numerical simulations with a commercial CFD software called FLACS were conducted to analyze the effect of ignition and vent conditions on the blast overpressure and flame propagation.The experimental results demonstrated that the peak overpressure increased as the distance from the vent increased within a certain distance.And the maximum overpressure appeared 3 m away from the door,which was about 36.6 kPa.It was found that the pressure-time rising curves obtained from the simulation are basically the same as the ones from the experiment,however,the time of reaching the peak pressure was much shorter.The numerical simulation results show that the peak overpressures show an increase trend as the ignition height decreased and the vent relief pressure increased.It indicates that the damage and peak overpressure of gas explosion could be well predicted by FLACS in different styles of regulator station.In addition,the results help us to understand the internal mechanism and development process of gas explosion better.It also offers technical support for the safety protection of the urban regulator station. | Zhenyi Liu Yuanyuan Ma Yuan Ren Mingzhi Li Pengliang Li Song Wan | 2020 | Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2020,29,2: | 1 |

| 18 | Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C.
