| 2 | Experimental study on effect of inclination angles to ammonia pulsating heat pipe显示文摘In this paper, a novel study on performance of closed loop pulsating heat pipe(CLPHP)using ammonia as working fluid is experimented. The tested CLPHP, consisting of six turns, is fully made of quartz glass tubes with 6 mm outer diameter and 2 mm inner diameter. The filling ratio is50%. The visualization investigation is conducted to observe the oscillation and circulation flow in the CLPHP. In order to investigate the effects of inclination angles to thermal performance in the ammonia CLPHP, four case tests are studied. The trends of temperature fluctuation and thermal resistance as the input power increases at different inclination angles are highlighted. The results show that it is very easy to start up and circulate for the ammonia CLPHP at an inclining angle.The thermal resistance is low to 0.02 K/W, presenting that heat fluxes can be transferred from heating section to cooling section very quickly. It is found that the thermal resistance decreases as the inclination angle increases. At the horizontal operation, the ammonia CLPHP can be easy to start up at low input power, but hard to circulate. | 5 | Influence of annealing and spheroidizing treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ91 magnesium alloy显示文摘The low-strength and high-brittleness of AZ91 cast magnesium alloy mainly result from the coarse divorced eutectic phase.To solve these problems,the annealing treatment of AZ91 cast magnesium alloy was carried out at 415 ℃ and held for 24 h in this study and the alloy was then slowly cooled to room temperature in furnace.The microstructures of the alloy were observed using a metallographic microscope,a transmission electron microscopy and an emission scanning electron microscopy,respectively.The phase analysis was performed using the X-ray diffraction,and the tensile test of the specimen at ambient temperature was performed on a material test machine.The results indicate that the coarse divorced eutectic phase dissolves into the Mg matrix during the isothermal process,and the lamellar β-Mg17Al12 phase precipitates from the magnesium solid solution with a type of pearlite precipitation during furnace cooling.Consequently,the spheroidizing treatment was carried out at 320 ℃ for 20 h following the annealing process and the lamellar β-Mg17Al12 phase was spheroidized.Compared with the as-cast alloy,the strength and ductility of the AZ91 magnesium alloy are increased obviously after annealing treatment;the yield strength and tensile strength are increased to 137.8 MPa and 240.4 MPa from 102.9 MPa and 199.3 MPa,respectively;and the elongation is improved to 6.12% from 4.35%.After being spheroidized,the strength and hardness decrease a little,but the ductility is elevated to 7.23%.The nucleation,growth and spheroidizing mechanism of the lamellar β-Mg17Al12 phase were also discussed. | Zhang Jumei Wang Zhihu Jiang Bailing Chen Zishan | 2013 | China Foundry2013,10,1: | 3 |
| 6 | Efficient projected gradient methods for cardinality constrained optimization显示文摘Sparse optimization has attracted increasing attention in numerous areas such as compressed sensing, financial optimization and image processing. In this paper, we first consider a special class of cardinality constrained optimization problems, which involves box constraints and a singly linear constraint. An efficient approach is provided for calculating the projection over the feasibility set after a careful analysis on the projection subproblem. Then we present several types of projected gradient methods for a general class of cardinality constrained optimization problems. Global convergence of the methods is established under suitable assumptions. Finally, we illustrate some applications of the proposed methods for signal recovery and index tracking.Especially for index tracking, we propose a new model subject to an adaptive upper bound on the sparse portfolio weights. | 7 | Asymmetricalπback-donation of hetero-dicationic Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)pairs for enhanced electrochemical nitrogen reduction显示文摘The breaking of nonpolar N≡N bond of dinitrogen is the biggest dilemma for electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)application,driving electron migration between catalysts and N≡N bond(termed“πback-donation”process)is crucial for attenuating interfacial energy barrier but still remains challenging.Herein,using density functional theory calculations,we revealed that constructing a unique hetero-dicationic Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)pair could effectively activate N≡N bond with a lying-down chemisorption configuration by an asymmetrical“πback-donation”process.As a proof-of-concept demonstration,we synthesized MoO_(2)@MoO_(3)heterostructure with double Mo sites(Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)),which are embedded in graphite,for electrochemical nitrogen reduction.Impressively,this hetero-dicationic Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)pair catalysts display more excellent catalytic performance with a high NH_(3)yield(60.9μg·h^(-1)·mg^(-1))and Faradic efficiency(23.8%)as NRR catalysts under ambient conditions than pristine MoO_(2)and MoO_(3).Operando characterizations using synchrotron-based spectroscopic techniques identified the emergence of a key^(*)N_(2)Hy intermediate on Mo sites during NRR,which indicates that the Mo sites are active sites and the NRR process tends to follow an associative mechanism.This novel type of hetero-dicationic catalyst has tremendous potential as a new class of transition metal-based catalysts with promising applications in electrocatalysis and catalysts for energy conversion and storage. | Hao Tan Qianqian Ji Chao Wang Hengli Duan Yuan Kong Yao Wang Sihua Feng Liyang Lv Fengchun Hu Wenhua Zhang Wangsheng Chu Zhihu Sun Wensheng Yan | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,4: | 2 |
| 8 | Geo-localization based on CNN feature matching显示文摘A geo-localization method is proposed for military and civilian applications, which is used when no global navigation satellite system(GNSS) information is available. The open graphics library(Open GL) is used to build a three-dimensional geographic model of the test area using digital elevation model(DEM) data, and the skyline can thus be extracted with the model to form a database. Then, Multi Skip Deep Lab(MS-Deep Lab), a fully convolutional semantic segmentation network with multiple skip structures, is proposed to extract the skyline from the query image. Finally, a matching model based on convolutional neural network(CNN) feature is adopted to calculate the similarity between the skyline features of the query image and the DEM database to realize automatic geo-localization. | 9 | Late Quaternary terrigenous sedimentation in the Western Arctic Ocean as exemplified by a sedimentary record from the Alpha Ridge显示文摘Terrigenous components in sediment core B84A from the Alpha Ridge,Western Arctic Ocean,have been investigated to reconstruct Mid to Late Quaternary variations in sedimentation,provenance,and related climate changes. The core stratigraphy,evaluated by a combination of variations in Mn content,color cycles,foraminiferal abundance,and lithological correlation,extends back to estimated Marine Isotope Stage 12. Twelve Ice Rafted Detritus(IRD,>250 μm) events were identified and interpreted to mostly occur during deglaciation.The Canadian Arctic,which was covered by ice sheets during glacial periods,is suggested to be the major source region. The IRD events likely indicate the collapses of ice sheets,possibly in response to abrupt climate changes.Grain size analysis of B84A indicates sedimentologically sensitive components in core B84A in the 4-9 μm and 19-53 μm silt subfractions,which are inferred to be mainly transported by currents and sea ice,respectively. Down core variability of these two fractions may indicate changes in ice drift and current strength.
