1A single circular chromosome yeast显示文摘Dear editor,Most of the prokaryotic cells contain a single circular chromosome.In contrast, the eukaryotic cells usually contain multiple linear chromosomes. 3Influence of annealing and spheroidizing treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ91 magnesium alloy显示文摘The low-strength and high-brittleness of AZ91 cast magnesium alloy mainly result from the coarse divorced eutectic phase.To solve these problems,the annealing treatment of AZ91 cast magnesium alloy was carried out at 415 ℃ and held for 24 h in this study and the alloy was then slowly cooled to room temperature in furnace.The microstructures of the alloy were observed using a metallographic microscope,a transmission electron microscopy and an emission scanning electron microscopy,respectively.The phase analysis was performed using the X-ray diffraction,and the tensile test of the specimen at ambient temperature was performed on a material test machine.The results indicate that the coarse divorced eutectic phase dissolves into the Mg matrix during the isothermal process,and the lamellar β-Mg17Al12 phase precipitates from the magnesium solid solution with a type of pearlite precipitation during furnace cooling.Consequently,the spheroidizing treatment was carried out at 320 ℃ for 20 h following the annealing process and the lamellar β-Mg17Al12 phase was spheroidized.Compared with the as-cast alloy,the strength and ductility of the AZ91 magnesium alloy are increased obviously after annealing treatment;the yield strength and tensile strength are increased to 137.8 MPa and 240.4 MPa from 102.9 MPa and 199.3 MPa,respectively;and the elongation is improved to 6.12% from 4.35%.After being spheroidized,the strength and hardness decrease a little,but the ductility is elevated to 7.23%.The nucleation,growth and spheroidizing mechanism of the lamellar β-Mg17Al12 phase were also discussed.Zhang Jumei Wang Zhihu Jiang Bailing Chen Zishan 2013China Foundry2013,10,1:3
4Asymmetricalπback-donation of hetero-dicationic Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)pairs for enhanced electrochemical nitrogen reduction显示文摘The breaking of nonpolar N≡N bond of dinitrogen is the biggest dilemma for electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)application,driving electron migration between catalysts and N≡N bond(termed“πback-donation”process)is crucial for attenuating interfacial energy barrier but still remains challenging.Herein,using density functional theory calculations,we revealed that constructing a unique hetero-dicationic Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)pair could effectively activate N≡N bond with a lying-down chemisorption configuration by an asymmetrical“πback-donation”process.As a proof-of-concept demonstration,we synthesized MoO_(2)@MoO_(3)heterostructure with double Mo sites(Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)),which are embedded in graphite,for electrochemical nitrogen reduction.Impressively,this hetero-dicationic Mo^(4+)-Mo^(6+)pair catalysts display more excellent catalytic performance with a high NH_(3)yield(60.9μg·h^(-1)·mg^(-1))and Faradic efficiency(23.8%)as NRR catalysts under ambient conditions than pristine MoO_(2)and MoO_(3).Operando characterizations using synchrotron-based spectroscopic techniques identified the emergence of a key^(*)N_(2)Hy intermediate on Mo sites during NRR,which indicates that the Mo sites are active sites and the NRR process tends to follow an associative mechanism.This novel type of hetero-dicationic catalyst has tremendous potential as a new class of transition metal-based catalysts with promising applications in electrocatalysis and catalysts for energy conversion and storage.Hao Tan Qianqian Ji Chao Wang Hengli Duan Yuan Kong Yao Wang Sihua Feng Liyang Lv Fengchun Hu Wenhua Zhang Wangsheng Chu Zhihu Sun Wensheng Yan 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:2
5Late Quaternary terrigenous sedimentation in the Western Arctic Ocean as exemplified by a sedimentary record from the Alpha Ridge显示文摘Terrigenous components in sediment core B84A from the Alpha Ridge,Western Arctic Ocean,have been investigated to reconstruct Mid to Late Quaternary variations in sedimentation,provenance,and related climate changes. The core stratigraphy,evaluated by a combination of variations in Mn content,color cycles,foraminiferal abundance,and lithological correlation,extends back to estimated Marine Isotope Stage 12. Twelve Ice Rafted Detritus(IRD,>250 μm) events were identified and interpreted to mostly occur during deglaciation.The Canadian Arctic,which was covered by ice sheets during glacial periods,is suggested to be the major source region. The IRD events likely indicate the collapses of ice sheets,possibly in response to abrupt climate changes.Grain size analysis of B84A indicates sedimentologically sensitive components in core B84A in the 4-9 μm and 19-53 μm silt subfractions,which are inferred to be mainly transported by currents and sea ice,respectively. Down core variability of these two fractions may indicate changes in ice drift and current strength. 7Ultrahigh-temperature ferromagnetism in MoS_(2) Moirésuperlattice/graphene hybrid heterostructures显示文摘Realizing high-temperature ferromagnetism in two-dimensional(2D)semiconductor nanosheets is significant for their applications in next-generation magnetic and electronic nanodevices.Herein,this goal could be achieved on a MoS_(2) Moirésuperlattice grown on the reduced graphene oxide(RGO)substrate by a hydrothermal approach.The as-synthesized bilayer MoS_(2) superlattice structure with rotating angle(ϕ=13°±1°)of two hexagonal MoS_(2) lattices,possesses outstanding ferromagnetic property and an ultra-high Curie temperature of 990 K.The X-ray absorption near-edge structure and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopies combined with density functional theory calculation indicate that the covalent interactions between MoS_(2) Moirésuperlattice and RGO substrate lead to the formation of interfacial Mo-S-C bonds and complete spin polarization of Mo 4d electrons near the Fermi level.This design could be generalized and may open up a possibility for tailoring the magnetism of other 2D materials.Liang Cai Hengli Duan Qinghua Liu Chao Wang Hao Tan Wei Hu Fengchun Hu Zhihu Sun Wensheng Yan 2021Nano Research2021,14,11:1

12落叶松不同径级树干液流密度对太阳辐射量的时滞效应显示文摘为了明确林木特征和坡位在树干液流密度和太阳辐射量之间的时滞现象中的作用。本研究以三江平原丘陵区长白落叶松(Larix olgensis)人工近熟林(31年生)不同直径等级的林木为对象,评价了树干液流密度对太阳辐射量间的时滞与树木特征、相邻木特征和坡位之间的关系。研究结果表明,树干液流密度与太阳辐射量都表现出昼夜变化规律,其对太阳辐射量的变化表现出明显的非同步性,即树干液流密度与太阳辐射量间的时滞。生长季晴天时落叶松树干液流密度变化滞后于太阳辐射量变化21.1±6.9 min。与树高和冠幅相比,落叶松树干液流密度与太阳辐射量间的时滞更加依赖于胸径变化,二者间呈线性增长趋势。同相邻木特征相比,落叶松树干液流密度的时滞更加依赖于自身的树木特征。树干液流密度对太阳辐射量的时滞受土壤体积含水量的影响不显著。树木特征、相邻木特征和坡位在树干液流密度对太阳辐射量的时滞形成中的作用比较来看,落叶松树干液流密度对太阳辐射量的时滞主要受树木特征的控制。这些研究结果说明,胸径是影响长白落叶松生长季晴天条件下树干液流密度与太阳辐射量间时滞的重要因素。Zixuan Wang Zhihu Sun Jinyao Cui 2023Journal of Plant Ecology2023,16,3:0

14Transfer Ionization Processes in Collisions between S^(q+) and H_2, He显示文摘Molecular H2 is extensively existing in interstellar plasma and play an important role in various charge exchange processes. Collisions between multiply charged S ions and H2, atomic H and He are key processes in investigation of the plasma related to Jupiter. The present work is focusing on the mechanism of collisions between Sq and H2, He. 16Spectra of Highly Ionized Nickel显示文摘The spectrum of highly ionized nickel in the region of 12-40 nm was studied by means of the beamfoil method. Nickel ions of 45 and 70 MeV energy from the HI-13 tandem accelerator at China Institute of Atomic Energy were sued. Numerous lines attributed to Ni X to XX transitions have been identified, of which seventeen lines are new classifications and now accurately measured.
