| 1 | HCWCI/Carbon Steel Bimetal Liner by Liquid-Liquid Compound Lost Foam Casting显示文摘Impact, friction and corrosion from the grinding balls and the grinding medium during the mineral processing result in liner breakage. Liner, made from Hadfield steel or alloyed steel, could not have served in wet grinding environment for more than ten months. Composite liner, made from HCWCI (high Cr white cast iron) and carbon steel, has been developed successfully with liquid-liquid composing process based on LFC (lost foam casting). The microstructure of composite was analyzed with optical microscope, SEM (scanning electron microscope)/EDX energy-dispersive X-ray and XRD (X-ray diffraction). According to micrograph, the combination region of two metals was staggered like dogtooth, no mixtures occurred between two liquid metals, and its interface presented excellent metallurgical bonding state. The results of mechanical property test show that, the hardness of HRC, the fracture toughness, and the bending strength are more than 61, 16.5 J/cm2 and 1 600 MPa, respectively. Comparison between liners made from bimetal composite and alloyed steel has also been investigated in industrial hematite ball mill. | 2 | Predictors of dysphagia screening and pneumonia among patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China:findings from the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance(CSCA)显示文摘Background and purpose Guidelines recommend dysphagia screening to identify those at high risk of pneumonia.However,little is known about the prevalence and predictors of dysphagia screening and pneumonia among patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China.Methods Using data from the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance,which is a multicentre,prospective,consecutive patient enrolment programme,univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify patient and hospital characteristics associated with dysphagia screening and pneumonia during acute hospitalisation.Results Of 790811 patients admitted to 1476 hospitals,622718(78.7%)underwent dysphagia screening,and 64398(8.1%)developed pneumonia.Patients in stroke units were more likely to be screened for dysphagia than those not in stroke units(OR 1.50;95%CI 1.48 to 1.52),while patients with a past history of stroke were less likely to be screened(OR 0.87;95%CI 0.86 to 0.88).Dysphagia screening(OR 1.46;95%CI 1.30 to 1.65),dysphagia(OR 7.31;95%CI 7.15 to 7.46),and admission to stroke units(OR 1.17;95%CI 1.14 to 1.19)were significantly associated with a greater risk of pneumonia.Conclusions Dysphagia was a critical factor in the development of pneumonia.Nearly one in five patients with acute ischaemic stroke in the Chinese Stroke Center Alliance were not screened for dysphagia.Pneumonia prevention during acute hospitalisation is dependent not only on dysphagia screening but also on the effectiveness of subsequent dysphagia management interventions.Further studies are needed to elucidate the relationship between dysphagia screening,stroke unit care and pneumonia in patients with acute ischaemic stroke. | Jianshu Liang Zhike Yin Zixiao Li Hongqiu Gu Kaixuan Yang Yunyun Xiong Yongjun Wang Chunjuan Wang | 2022 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4: | 5 |
| 3 | Active Vaccine Safety Surveillance: Global Trends and Challenges in China显示文摘Importance.The great success in vaccine-preventable diseases has been accompanied by vaccine safety concerns.This has caused vaccine hesitancy to be the top 10 in threats to global health.The comprehensive understanding of adverse events following immunization should be entirely based on clinical trials and postapproval surveillance.It has increasingly been recognized worldwide that the active surveillance of vaccine safety should be an essential part of immunization programs due to its complementary advantages to passive surveillance and clinical trials.Highlights.In the present study,the framework of vaccine safety surveillance was summarized to illustrate the importance of active surveillance and address vaccine hesitancy or safety concerns.Then,the global progress of active surveillance systems was reviewed,mainly focusing on population-based or hospital-based active surveillance.With these successful paradigms,the practical and reliable ways to create robust and similar systems in China were discussed and presented from the perspective of available databases,methodology challenges,policy supports,and ethical considerations.Conclusion.In the inevitable trend of the global vaccine safety ecosystem,the establishment of an active surveillance system for vaccine safety in China is urgent and feasible.This process can be accelerated with the consensus and cooperation of regulatory departments,research institutions,and data owners. | Zhike Liu Ruogu Meng Yu Yang Keli Li Zundong Yin Jingtian Ren Chuanyong Shen Zijian Feng Siyan Zhan | 2021 | Health Data Science2021,,1: | 2 |

| 5 | Ratiometric fluorescent Si-FITC nanoprobe for immunoassay of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)highlights the importance of rapid and reliable diagnostic assays for the management of virus transmission.Here,we developed a one-pot hydrothermal method to prepare Si-FITC nanoparticles(NPs)for the fluorescent immunoassay of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)nucleocapsid protein(N protein).The synthesis of Si-FITC NPs did not need post-modification,which addressed the issue of quantum yield reduction during the coupling reaction.Si-FITC NPs showed two distinct peaks,Si fluorescence atλem=385 nm and FITC fluorescence atλem=490 nm.In the presence of KMnO_(4),Si fluorescence was decreased and FITC fluorescence was enhanced.Briefly,in the presence of N protein,catalase(CAT)-linked secondary antibody/reporter antibody/N protein/capture antibody immunocomplexes were formed on microplates.Subsequently,hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))and Si-FITC NPs/KMnO_(4)were injected into the microplate together.The decomposition of H_(2)O_(2)by CAT resulted in remaining of KMnO_(4),which changed the fluorescence intensity ratio of Si-FITC NPs.The fluorescence intensity ratio correlated significantly with the N protein concentration ranging from 0.02 to 50.00 ng/mL,and the detection limit was 0.003 ng/mL,which was more sensitive than the commercial ELISA kit with a detection limit of 0.057 ng/mL.The N protein concentration can be accurately determined in human serum.Furthermore,the COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients were distinguishable by this method.Therefore,the ratiometric fluorescent immunoassay can be used for SARS-CoV-2 infection diagnosis with a high sensitivity and selectivity. | Guobin Mao Silu Ye Wen Yin Yang Yang Xinghu Ji Jin He Yingxia Liu Junbiao Dai Zhike He Yingxin Ma | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 0 |
