Prediction of shield tunneling-induced ground settlement using machine learning techniques显示文摘Predicting the tunneling-induced maximum ground surface settlement is a complex problem since the settlement depends on plenty of intrinsic and extrinsic factors. This study investigates the efficiency and feasibility of six machine learning(ML)algorithms,namely,back-propagation neural network, wavelet neural network, general regression neural network(GRNN),extreme learning machine, support vector machine and random forest(RF),to predict tunneling?induced settlement.Field data sets including geological conditions, shield operational parameters, and tunnel geometry collected from four sections of tunnel with a total of 3.93 km are used to build models.Three indicators, mean absolute error, root mean absolute error, and coefficient of determination the(7?2)are used to demonstrate the performance of each computational model. The results indicated that ML algorithms have great potential to predict tunneling-induced settlement, compared with the traditional multivariate linear regression method.GRNN and RF algorithms show the best performance among six ML algorithms, which accurately recognize the evolution of tunneling-induced settlement. The correlation between the input variables and settlement is also investigated by Pearson correlation coefficient. | Renpeng CHEN Pin ZHANG Huaina WU Zhiteng WANG Zhiquan ZHONG | 2019 | Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2019,13,6: | 20
Circular RNA circStag1 promotes bone regeneration by interacting with HuR显示文摘Postmenopausal osteoporosis is a common bone metabolic disorder characterized by deterioration of the bone microarchitecture, leading to an increased risk of fractures.Recently, circular RNAs(circ RNAs)have been demonstrated to play pivotal roles in regulating bone metabolism. However, the underlying functions of circ RNAs in bone metabolism in postmenopausal osteoporosis remain obscure. Here,we report that circ Stag1 is a critical osteoporosis-related circ RNA that shows significantly downregulated expression in osteoporotic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)and clinical bone tissue samples from patients with osteoporosis.Overexpression of circ Stag1 significantly promoted the osteogenic capability of BMSCs.Mechanistically,we found that circ Stag1 interacts with human antigen R(Hu R),an RNA-binding protein, and promotes the translocation of Hu R into the cytoplasm.A high cytoplasmic level of Hu R led to the activation of the Wnt signaling pathway by stabilizing and enhancing low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 5/6(Lrp5/6)andβ-catenin expression, thereby stimulating the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs.Furthermore, overexpression of circ Stag1 in vivo by circ Stag1-loaded adeno-associated virus(circ Stag1-AAV)promoted new bone formation, thereby preventing bone loss in ovariectomized rats.Collectively,we show that circ Stag1 plays a pivotal role in promoting the regeneration of bone tissue via Hu R/Wnt signaling, which may provide new strategies to prevent bone metabolic disorders such as postmenopausal osteoporosis. | Gaoyang Chen Canling Long Shang Wang Zhenmin Wang Xin Chen Wanze Tang Xiaoqin He Zhiteng Bao Baoyu Tan Jin Zhao Yongheng Xie Zhizhong Li Dazhi Yang Guozhi Xiao Songlin Peng | 2022 | Bone Research2022,10,3: | 7

The morphotectonics and its evolutionary dynamics of the central Southwest Indian Ridge (49° to 51°E)显示文摘The morphotectonic features and their evolution of the central Southwest Indian Ridge(SWIR)are discussed on the base of the high-resolution full-coverage bathymetric data on the ridge between 49°–51°E.A comparative analysis of the topographic features of the axial and flank area indicates that the axial topography is alternated by the ridge and trough with en echelon pattern and evolved under a spatial-temporal migration especially in 49°–50.17°E.It is probably due to the undulation at the top of the mantle asthenosphere, which is propagating with the mantle flow. From 50.17°to 50.7°E,is a topographical high terrain with a crust much thicker than the global average of the oceanic crust thickness. Its origin should be independent of the spreading mechanism of ultra-slow spreading ridges. The large numbers of volcanoes in this area indicate robust magmatic activity and may be related to the Crozet hot spot according to RMBA(residual mantle Bouguer anomaly). The different geomorphological feature between the north and south flanks of the ridge indicates an asymmetric spreading, and leading to the development of the OCC(oceanic core complex). The tectonic activity of the south frank is stronger than the north and is favorable to develop the OCC.The first found active hydrothermal vent in the SWIR at 37°47′S,49°39′E is thought to be associated with the detachment fault related to the OCC. | LIANG Yuyang LI Jiabiao LI Shoujun RUAN Aiguo NI Jianyu YU Zhiteng ZHU Lei | 2013 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,12: | 7
Improved precise positioning with BDS-3 quad-frequency signals显示文摘The establishment of the BeiDou global navigation satellite system(BDS-3)has been completed, and the current constellation can independently provide positioning service globally.BDS-3 satellites provide quad-frequency signals, which can benefit the ambiguity resolution(AR)and high-precision positioning. This paper discusses the benefits of quad-frequency observations, including the precision gain of multi-frequency high-precision positioning and the sophisticated choice of extra-wide-lane(EWL)or wide-lane(WL)combinations for instantaneous EWL/WL AR.Additionally, the performance of EWL real-time kinematic(ERTK)positioning that only uses EWL/WL combinations is investigated. The results indicate that the horizontal positioning errors of ERTK positioning using ionosphere-free(IF)EWL observations are approximately 0.5 m for the baseline of 27 km and 1 m for the baseline of 300 km.Furthermore, the positioning errors are reduced to the centimetre level if the IF EWL observations are smoothed by narrow-lane observations for a short period. | Bofeng Li Zhiteng Zhang Weikai Miao Guang’e Chen | 2020 | Satellite Navigation2020,1,1: | 4
电位质子滴定与NEXAFS和XPS表征功能化多壁碳纳米管比较(英文)显示文摘Since the discovery of carbon nanotubes (CNT), this material has been recognized as an attractive catalyst support. CNT must be functionalized before use as a catalyst support and typically this involves oxidation. However, the functional group distribution on the CNT is very complex mixture of groups and varies with oxidation agent used. Here a simple acid-base titration is introduced to characterize the oxygen functionalized CNT. By comparing characterization with near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) for both at the C and O K-edges, it can be demonstrated that potentiometric proton titration can be a fast and quantitative analysis for Brnsted acid functional groups on CNT. | Zhiteng Zhang Lisa Pfefferle Gary L.Haller | 2014 | 催化学报2014,35,6: | 3
Bioinformatic analysis for potential biological processes and key targets of heart failure-related stroke显示文摘This study aimed to uncover underlying mechanisms and promising intervention targets of heart failure(HF)-related stroke.HF-related dataset GSE42955 and stroke-related dataset GSE58294 were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database.Weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)was conducted to identify key modules and hub genes.Gene Ontology(GO)and pathway enrichment analyses were performed on genes in the key modules.Genes in HF-and stroke-related key modules were intersected to obtain common genes for HF-related stroke, which were further intersected with hub genes of stroke-related key modules to obtain key genes in HF-related stroke.Key genes were functionally annotated through GO in the Reactome and Cytoscape databases. Finally, key genes were validated in these two datasets and other datasets.HF-and stroke-related datasets each identified two key modules.Functional enrichment analysis indicated that protein ubiquitination,Wnt signaling, and exosomes were involved in both HF-and stroke-related key modules.Additionally, ten hub genes were identified in stroke-related key modules and 155 genes were identified as common genes in HF-related stroke.OTU deubiquitinase with linear linkage specificity(OTULIN)and nuclear factor interleukin 3-regulated(NFIL3)were determined to be the key genes in HF-related stroke.Through functional annotation,OTULIN was involved in protein ubiquitination and Wnt signaling, and NFIL3 was involved in DNA binding and transcription.Importantly,OTULIN and NFIL3 were also validated to be differentially expressed in all HF and stroke groups.Protein ubiquitination,Wnt signaling, and exosomes were involved in HF-related stroke.OTULIN and NFIL3 may play a key role in HF-related stroke through regulating these processes, and thus serve as promising intervention targets. | Chiyu LIU Sixu CHEN Haifeng ZHANG Yangxin CHEN Qingyuan GAO Zhiteng CHEN Zhaoyu LIU Jingfeng WANG | 2021 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,9: | 3
H_∞ Control for Nonlinear Stochastic Markov Systems with Time-Delay and Multiplicative Noise显示文摘This paper is concerned with the H_∞ control problem for a class of nonlinear stochastic Markov jump systems with time-delay and system state-, control input-and external disturbancedependent noise. Firstly, by solving a set of Hamilton-Jacobi inequalities(HJIs), the exponential mean square H_∞ controller design of delayed nonlinear stochastic Markov systems is presented. Secondly,by using fuzzy T-S model approach, the H_∞ controller can be designed via solving a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) instead of HJIs. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed design methods. | WANG Yuhong PAN Zhiteng LI Yan ZHANG Weihai | 2017 | Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2017,30,6: | 2
Recent improvements of actuator line-large-eddy simulation method for wind turbine wakes显示文摘In a large wind farm, the wakes of upstream and downstream wind turbines can interfere with each other, affecting the overall power output of the wind farm.To further improve the numerical accuracy of the turbine wake dynamics under atmosphere turbulence, this work proposes some improvements to the actuator line-large-eddy simulation(AL-LES)method.Based on the dynamic k-equation large-eddy simulation(LES),this method uses a precursor method to generate atmospheric inflow turbulence, models the tower and nacelle wakes, and improves the body force projection method based on an anisotropic Gaussian distribution function. For these three improvements, three wind tunnel experiments are used to validate the numerical accuracy of this method. The results show that the numerical results calculated in the far-wake region can reflect the characteristics of typical onshore and offshore wind conditions compared with the experimental results. After modeling the tower and nacelle wakes, the wake velocity distribution is consistent with the experimental result. The radial migration velocity of the tip vortex calculated by the improved blade body force distribution model is 0.32 m/s,which is about 6%different from the experimental value and improves the prediction accuracy of the tip vortex radial movement. The method proposed in this paper is very helpful for wind turbine wake dynamic analysis and wind farm power prediction. | Zhiteng GAO Ye LI Tongguang WANG Shitang KE Deshun LI | 2021 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2021,42,4: | 2

Diagenetic Sequence and Genetic Mechanism of Silurian Tight Sandstone Reservoirs in the Eastern Tarim Basin, Northwest China显示文摘The Silurian stratigraphic sequence has recently become one of the most important exploration targets in the Tarim Basin, with a considerable amount of profitable hydrocarbon pools discovered in the central Tarim Basin. Previous exploration activities indicate that the Silurian stratigraphic sequence in the eastern Tarim Basin has great hydrocarbon exploration potential. The Silurian reservoirs comprise a set of tight marine sandstones, whose diagenetic sequence and genetic mechanism are still poorly understood. The complex relationship of hydrocarbon generation, the timing of the peak expulsion of the source rocks and the evolution of the reservoirs remains unclear. An integrated description and analysis have been carried out on core samples from eleven wells selected from the eastern Tarim Basin. A range of petrographic and geochemical analyses were conducted. By using an integrated approach with thin-section petrography, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), cathodoluminescence(CL), carbon and oxygen isotope geochemistry, formation water analysis, X-ray diffractometry(XRD), electron probe microanalysis and fluid inclusion microthermometry, the genesis and occurrence of individual diagenetic events were documented to reconstruct the diagenetic sequence and diagenetic model for the Silurian sandstone. Additionally, the tight nature of the Silurian reservoirs can mainly be attributed to the compaction processes and cementation. In particular, the destructiveness of the compactional processes to the original porosity is far greater than that from the cementation. Furthermore, fluid inclusion analyses also indicate that the Silurian sandstone has experienced three phases of hydrocarbon charge. The first two phases occurred during the eodiagenesis stage(from the Late Silurian to the Early Devonian and from the Late Carboniferous to the end of the Late Permian), when the Silurian sandstone was not tight and had a porosity of greater than 20%. The third phase occurred during the stage B of mesodiagenesis(since the Late Cretaceous), when the Silurian sandstone was fully tight. | Jingxiang Guo Qiang Li Wenwen Wang Qian Zhang Junhui Wang Zhiteng Hou | 2017 | Journal of Earth Science2017,28,6: | 1

Distribution of large-scale detachment faults on mid-ocean ridges in relation to spreading rates显示文摘Large-scale detachment faults on mid-ocean ridges(MORs)provide a window into the deeper earth. They have megamullion on their corrugated surfaces, with exposed lower crustal and upper mantle rocks, relatively high residual Bouguer gravity anomaly and P-wave velocity, and are commonly associated with oceanic core complex.According to 30 detachment faults identified on MORs,we found that their distances to the axis mostly range from 5 to 50 km,half-spreading rates range from 6.8 to 17 mm/a,and activity time ranges from recent to 3 Ma.Most of the detachment faults are developed on the slow spreading Mid-Atlantic Ridge(MAR)and ultra-slow spreading Southwest Indian Ridge(SWIR),with the dominant half-spreading rates of7–13 mm/a,especially 10–13 mm/a.Furthermore,they mostly occur at the inside corner of one segment end and result in an asymmetric seafloor spreading. The detachment faults on MORs are mainly controlled by the tectonism and influenced by the magmatism.Long-lived detachment faults tend to be formed where the ridge magma supply is at a moderate level, although the tectonism is a first-order controlling factor. At the slow spreading ridges, detachment faults tend to occur where local magma supply is relatively low, whilst at the ultra-slow spreading ridges, they normally occur where local magma supply is relatively high. These faults are accompanied by hydrothermal activities, with their relationships being useful in the study of hydrothermal polymetallic sulfides and their origin. | YU Zhiteng LI Jiabiao LIANG Yuyang HAN Xiqiu ZHANG Jie ZHU Lei | 2013 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,12: | 1
Resource assessment for combined offshore wind and wave energy in China显示文摘The development of offshore wind farms has experienced rapid growth during the past decade. In particular, China has the highest number of installations worldwide, but some challenges exist for further development. Consequently, some researchers suggest combining wave energy with offshore wind energy. To fully implement this plan, a comprehensive resource assessment of combined offshore wind and wave energy systems is needed. Investigations of the parameters, such as the spatial and temporal distribution of wind and wave energy, aggregate resource reserves, available technical potential, and total capacity factor, are vital for designing the required wind turbines and wave energy converters. To assist scientific development and governmental decision making, this paper aims to evaluate offshore wind and wave energy resources from a technological perspective. The results show that theoretical offshore wind and wave energy resources are abundant in China's ocean territory, with a potential of approximately 3 TW. Technically, of the three most popular offshore wind turbines, i.e., 6, 8, and 10 MW, 10 MW is overall the most suitable in China. However, of the three wave energy converters, i.e., 120, 250, and 750 kW, 120 kW is the best candidate for Liaoning Province, and 750 kW is the most suitable for the remainder of its region. Overall, the total annual energy production is approximately 7000 TWh. | JIANG Bo HOU ErHu GAO ZhiTeng DING Jie FANG YiZhou KHAN Salman S. | 16 | Design and discovery of a highly potent ultralong-acting GLP-1 and glucagon co-agonist for attenuating renal fibrosis显示文摘The role of co-agonists of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor(GLP-1R)and glucagon receptor(GCGR)in chronic kidney disease(CKD)remains unclear.Herein we found that GLP-1R and GCGR expression levels were lower in the kidneys of mice with CKD compared to healthy mice and were correlated with disease severity.Interestingly,GLP-1R or GCGR knockdown aggravated the progression of kidney injury in both diabetic db/db mice and non-diabetic mice undergoing unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO).Based on the importance of GLP-1R and GCGR in CKD,we reported a novel monomeric peptide,1907-B,with dual-agonism on both GLP-1R and GCGR.The data confirmed that 1907-B had a longer half-life than long-acting semaglutide in rats or cynomolgus monkeys(~2-3 fold)and exhibited better therapeutic contribution to CKD than best-in-class monoagonists, semaglutide,or glucagon,in db/db mice and UUO mice.Various lock-of-function models, including selective pharmacological activation and genetic knockdown, confirmed that 1907-B’s effects on ameliorating diabetic nephropathy in db/db mice,as well as inhibiting kidney fibrosis in UUO mice, were mediated through GLP-1 and glucagon signaling. These findings highlight that 1907-B,a novel GLP-1R and GCGR co-agonist,exerts multifactorial improvement in kidney injuries and is an effective and promising therapeutic option for CKD treatment. | Qian Zhao Jiale Dong Han Liu Hui Chen Huan Yu Shuyin Ye Shuangjin Yu Yu Li Longhui Qiu Nazi Song Hongjiao Xu Qi Liu Zhiteng Luo Yuyi Li Rui Wang Guodong Chen Xianxing Jiang | 2024 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,3: | 0
Far-field approximations to the derivatives of Green’s function for the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings equation显示文摘The surface correction to the quadrupole source term of the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings integral in the frequency domain suffers from the computation of high-order derivatives of Green’s function. The far-field approximations to the derivatives of Green’s function have been used without derivation and verification in previous work.In this work,we provide the detailed derivations of the far-field approximations to the derivatives of Green’s function. The binomial expansions for the derivatives of Green’s function and the far-field condition are employed during the derivations to circumvent the difficulties in computing the high-order derivatives. The approximations to the derivatives of Green’s function are systemically verified by using the benchmarks two-dimensional convecting vortex and the co-rotating vortex pair.In addition,we provide the derivations of the approximations to the multiple integrals of Green’s function by using the far-field approximations to the derivatives. | Zhiteng Zhou Zhenyu Zang Hongping Wang Shizhao Wang | 2022 | Advances in Aerodynamics2022,4,1: | 0
Design of a highly potent GLP-1R and GCGR dual-agonist for recovering hepatic fibrosis显示文摘Currently, there is still no effective curative treatment for the development of late-stage liver fibrosis. Here, we have illustrated that TB001, a dual glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor/glucagon receptor(GLP-1 R/GCGR) agonist with higher affinity towards GCGR, could retard the progression of liver fibrosis in various rodent models, with remarkable potency, selectivity, extended half-life and low toxicity. Four types of liver fibrosis animal models which were induced by CCl_(4), a-naphthyl-isothiocyanate(ANIT), bile duct ligation(BDL) and Schistosoma japonicum were used in our study. We found that TB001 treatment dose-dependently significantly attenuated liver injury and collagen accumulation in these animal models. In addition to decreased levels of extracellular matrix(ECM) accumulation during hepatic injury, activation of hepatic stellate cells was also inhibited via suppression of TGF-β expression as well as downstream Smad signaling pathways particularly in CCl_(4)-and S. japonicum-induced liver fibrosis. Moreover, TB001 attenuated liver fibrosis through blocking downstream activation of proinflammatory nuclear factor kappa B/NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha(NFκB/IKBa) pathways as well as cJun N-terminal kinase(JNK)-dependent induction of hepatocyte apoptosis. Furthermore, GLP-1 R and/or GCGR knock-down results represented GCGR played an important role in ameliorating CCl_(4)-induced hepatic fibrosis. Therefore, TB001 can be used as a promising therapeutic candidate for the treatment of multiple causes of hepatic fibrosis demonstrated by our extensive pre-clinical evaluation of TB001. | Nazi Song Hongjiao Xu Jiahua Liu Qian Zhao Hui Chen Zhibin Yan Runling Yang Zhiteng Luo Qi Liu Jianmei Ouyang Shuohan Wu Suijia Luo Shuyin Ye Runfeng Lin Xi Sun Junqiu Xie Tian Lan Zhongdao Wu Rui Wang Xianxing Jiang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,5: | 0
Simplified permeable surface correction for frequency-domain Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings integrals显示文摘A simplified surface correction formulation is proposed to diminish the far-field spurious sound generated by the quadrupole source term in Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings(FW-H)integrals.The proposed formulation utilizes the far-field asymptotics of the Green’s function to simplify the computation of its high-order derivatives, which circumvents the difficulties reported in the original frequency-domain surface correction formulation. The proposed formulation has been validated by investigating the benchmark case of sound generated by a convecting vortex. The results show that the proposed formulation successfully eliminates the spurious sound. The applications of the proposed formulation to flows with some special parameters are also discussed. | Zhiteng Zhou Hongping Wang Shizhao Wang | 2021 | Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2021,11,4: | 0
