1Accurate relocation of earthquakes in central-western China using the double-difference earthquake location algorithm显示文摘The double-difference earthquake relocation algorithm (DD algorithm) has been applied to the accurate relocation of 10057 earthquakes in the central-western China (21°-36°N, 98°-112E°) during the period of 1992-1999. In total, 79706 readings for P waves and 72169 readings for S waves were used in the relocation, and the source parameters of 6496 events were obtained. The relocation results revealed a more complete picture of the hypocentral distribution in the central-western China. In several seismic belts the relocated epicenters present a more defined lineation feature, reflecting the close correlation between the seismicity and the active tectonic structures. The relocated focal depths confirmed that most earthquakes (91 percent of the 6496 relocated events) in the central-western China were located at shallower depths not deeper than 20 km. 2The role of m6A modification in the biological functions and diseases显示文摘N6-methyladenosine(m6A)is the most prevalent,abundant and conserved internal cotranscriptional modification in eukaryotic RNAs,especially within higher eukaryotic cells.m6A modification is modified by the m6A methyltransferases,or writers,such as METTL3/14/16,RBM15/15B,ZC3H3,VIRMA,CBLL1,WTAP,and KIAA1429,and,removed by the demethylases,or erasers,including FTO and ALKBH5.It is recognized by m6A-binding proteins YTHDF1/2/3,YTHDC1/2 IGF2BP1/2/3 and HNRNPA2B1,also known as'readers'.Recent studies have shown that m6A RNA modification plays essential role in both physiological and pathological conditions,especially in the initiation and progression of different types of human cancers.In this review,we discuss how m6A RNA methylation influences both the physiological and pathological progressions of hematopoietic,central nervous and reproductive systems.We will mainly focus on recent progress in identifying the biological functions and the underlying molecular mechanisms of m6A RNA methylation,its regulators and downstream target genes,during cancer progression in above systems.We propose that m6A RNA methylation process offer potential targets for cancer therapy in the future.Xiulin Jiang Baiyang Liu Zhi Nie Lincan Duan Qiuxia Xiong Zhixian Jin Cuiping Yang Yongbin Chen 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,3:16
3Morphology and mechanical properties of Cybister elytra显示文摘The mechanical properties and the topological structure of cross-sections found in Cybister elytra are presented.SEM images show the similar geometric structure in transverse and longitudinal sections.Elytra consist of several layers:a dense,black epicuticle,an exocuticle that is braided by several parallel chitin fiber layers in a helix structure,and many bridge piers formed by the fiber bundles that connect the exocuticle to the endodermis,forming a composite,light-weight biomaterial.The mechanical properties along the edge of elytra are measured using a nano-indenter.The hardness and modulus of fresh cybister elytra is 0.31 GPa and 6.13 GPa,respectively.The ultimate stresses of fresh elytra,measured by using a tensile test machine,are 169.2 MPa and 194.5 MPa in the transverse and longitudinal directions,respectively,which is twice higher than that of the dried one.The difference in the two directions indicates that this bio-material has been topologically optimized during evolution.The results may provide a biological template to inspire lightweight structure design for aerospace engineering.YANG ZhiXian DAI ZhenDong GUO Ce 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,8:8
4Heat shock protein 90 promotes RNA helicase DDX5 accumulation and exacerbates hepatocellular carcinoma by inhibiting autophagy显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),the main type of liver cancer,has a high morbidity and mortality,and a poor prognosis.RNA helicase DDX5,which acts as a transcriptional co-regulator,is overexpressed in most malignant tumors and promotes cancer cell growth.Heat shock protein 90(HSP90)is an important molecular chaperone in the conformational maturation and stabilization of numerous proteins involved in cell growth or survival.Methods:DDX5 m RNA and protein expression in surgically resected HCC tissues from 24 Asian patients were detected by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot,respectively.The interaction of DDX5-HSP90 was determined by molecular docking,immunoprecipitation,and laser scanning confocal microscopy.The autophagy signal was detected by Western blot.The cell functions and signaling pathways of DDX5 were determined in 2 HCC cell lines.Two different murine HCC xenograft models were used to determine the function of DDX5 and the therapeutic effect of an HSP90 inhibitor.Results:HSP90 interacted directly with DDX5 and inhibited DDX5 protein degradation in the AMPK/ULK1-regulated autophagy pathway.The subsequent accumulation of DDX5 protein induced the malignant phenotype of HCC by activating theβ-catenin signaling pathway.The silencing of DDX5 or treatment with HSP90 inhibitor both blocked in vivo tumor growth in a murine HCC xenograft model.High levels of HSP90 and DDX5 protein were associated with poor prognoses.Conclusions:HSP90 interacted with DDX5 protein and subsequently protected DDX5 protein from AMPK/ULK1-regulated autophagic degradation.DDX5 and HSP90 are therefore potential therapeutic targets for HCC.Ting Zhang Xinrui Yang Wanping Xu Jing Wang Dawei Wu Zhixian Hong Shengxian Yuan Zhen Zeng Xiaodong Jia Shanshan Lu Rifaat Safadi Sen Han Zhihong Yang Leonard M.Neckers Suthat Liangpunsakul Weiping Zhou Yinying Lu 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:7

7Universal Mechanism Modeling Method in Virtual Assembly Environment显示文摘Motion simulation and performance analysis of mechanism are important methods for analyzing assembly quality after finishing assembly simulation in virtual assembly environment. However, most simulation systems have no function of mechanism motion simulation due to the randomicity of mechanism and lack of universal mechanism modeling method. In order to realize the simulation of any mechanism after finishing assembly simulation in a virtual environment, a new universal mechanism modeling method is presented. Two main models are contained in the mechanism model: information model and mathematical model. Firstly, the information model of mechanism is proposed to describe the data structure of mechanism which contains bottom geometry data, information of constraint, link, kinematic pair and physical data. Because the object of mechanism simulation is the assembly, which is assembled during the process of assembly simulation, the information of mechanism can be obtained automatically through mechanism automatic search method. Secondly, mathematical model of mechanism is presented. The mathematical model uses mathematical method to express the mechanism. In order to realize the automatic expression of any random mechanism, basic constraint library is presented, consequently random mechanism can be described based on the basic constraint library. Finally, two examples are introduced to validate the method in the prototype system named VAPP(Virtual Assembly Process Planning). The validation result shows that the mechanism modeling provides a universal modeling method for mechanism motion simulation in virtual assembly environment. 9Vegetation Restoration Technique System and Its Ecological Functions of the Degraded Ecosystem in the Arid-Hot Valleys——Taking the Example of Typical Mode in Small Watershed of Yuanmou显示文摘This paper concluded the vegetation restoration technique system in the arid-hot valleys and studied the anti-erosion function, environmental function and biological diversity effects of vegetation restoration on the ecosystem in the arid-hot valleys. The results showed that the soil erodibility decreased significantly after the vegetation restoration. The climate environment of the small watershed had a great improvement after the vegetation restoration, of which the temperature decreased, the humidity increased, the harsh environment of dry and hot in this region changed. The studies of the ecosystem biodiversity were mainly on the analysis of the relations between biodiversity and ecological function of the artificial ecological forest pattern and the natural enclosed treatment mode on the severely of degraded land. It could conclude that the natural en-closed treatment mode is helpful to the biodiversity of the ecosystem and the improvement and stability of the ecosystem, and Leucaena artificial forest restoration pattern reduced the species diversity but optimized the ecological function. 10Landscape Ecological Evaluation on the Artificial Forest of Leucaena leucocephala——Taking the Example of Xiaokua Hill of Yuanmou显示文摘Based on the theory of ecology, this article conducted a landscape ecological evaluation on Leucaena leucocephala artificial forest in the arid-hot valley, Yuanmou Xiaokua hill,using a combination method of qualitative analysis and landscape comprehensive evaluation. The comprehensive evaluation indexes of landscape include forest coverage, biodiversity, stability, soil erosion, environmental quality, availability, scientific research characteristic, economic benefits. Using AHP (analytical hierarchy process), determine the grade of ecological evaluation factors and the weight of evaluation index and calculate the CEI (comprehensive evaluation index) on ecological evaluation. Evaluation results showed that the area CEI was 0.714 225, a better quality of the eco-logical level, but biodiversity indicators was the lowest. To sum up, it was difficult to maintain ecological restoration effectiveness and process but also guarantee a good biodiversity in the arid-hot valleys. 12Risk factors for pulmonary hemorrhage following ultrasound-guided percutaneous biopsy of peripheral lung lesions显示文摘Lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer-associated death worldwide,and the morbidity and mortality of lung cancer have increased over the past few decades.Imaging techniques are limited in providing a definitive diagnosis,which requires a tissue sample for pathologic evaluation.Adenocarcinomas account for 40%of all lung cancers and tend to occur peripherally in the lung,[1]making them amenable to ultrasound-guided percutaneous biopsy for pathologic diagnosis.Peripheral lung cancers are usually close to the pleura,enabling ultrasound to clearly show the internal structure of the lesion,its blood supply,and its relationship with surrounding tissues.Although ultrasound-guided transthoracic cutting needle biopsy is considered a safe and efficient method for obtaining a definitive pathologic diagnosis,the technique is associated with several complications,including air embolism,pneumothorax,pulmonary hemorrhage,and tumor seeding.[1]Severe hemoptysis can necessitate endobronchial tamponade,arterial embolization,or surgery and can be life-threatening.[2]Data regarding the risk factors for pulmonary hemorrhage after ultrasound-guided percutaneous lung biopsy are scarce.Qing Li Zhixian Li Xinhong Liao Li Zhang Lei Wang Shi Tang Xiyue Yang Jihan Wang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,1:1
13A Review of Catalogues of Chinese Earthquakes显示文摘In the past decade, the most authoritative catalogues of Chinese earthquakes and the most popular with seismologists in China are the following:(1) Gu Gongxu, 1983, Catalogue of Chinese Earthquakes;(2) Min Ziqun, 1988, Concise Catalogue of Chinese Earthquakes;(3) Xie Yusuou, 1989, Catalogue of Chinese Earthquakes (M≥ 4.7) from 1900-1980 with Uniform Magnitudes; and(4) Min Ziqun, 1995, Catalogue of Chinese Historical Strong Earthquakes. Earthquakes that occurred before 1900 are mainly documented in historical records.Since 1950s, more recent earthquakes were documented in two major compilations of historical records finished in 1956 and 1983-1987. Separately this effort resulted in two chronicles: two volumes for the first one and five volumes for the second one. The magnitudes are converted from the maximum intensity. These magnitudes, by convention, are connected with surface wave magnitudes. 14Upregulation of CENPM facilitates lung adenocarcinoma progression via PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway显示文摘Centromere protein M(CENPM)is essential for chromosome separation during mitosis.However,its roles in lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)progression and metastasis remain unknown.In this study,we aimed to explore the effects of CENPM on LUAD progression as well as the underlying mechanisms.We analyzed the expression of CENPM and its correlation with clinicopathological characteristics using GEO LUAD chip datasets and TCGA dataset.We further investigated the impact of CENPM on LUAD in vitro and in vivo.In silico analysis and qRT-PCR revealed that CENPM is upregulated in LUAD compared with that in normal lung tissues.Via gain/loss-of-function assays,we further found that CENPM promotes the LUAD cell cycle,cell proliferation,migration and invasion,and inhibits cell apoptosis in vitro.The in vivo study showed that loss of CENPM inhibits the growth of A549 xenografts.Furthermore,we found that CENPM can promote the phosphorylation of mTOR rather than directly affect the mTOR content.Inhibition of mTOR activity abrogates the promoting effects of CENPM on cell cycle progression,cell proliferation,migration and invasion.Taken together,these results show that CENPM plays an important role in the growth and metastasis of LUAD and may be a promising therapeutic target in LUAD.Chao Liu Yun Wang Yuyang Dao Shuting Wang Fei Hou Zhixian Yang Pengjie Liu Juan Lv Ling Lv Gaofeng Li Youjun Zhou Zhiyong Deng 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1:1

16Mesh relationship modeling and dynamic characteristic analysis of external spur gears with gear wear显示文摘Gear wear is one of the most common gear failures,which changes the mesh relationship of normal gear.A new mesh relationship caused by gear wear affects meshing excitations,such as mesh stiffness and transmission error,and further increases vibration and noise level.This paper aims to establish the model of mesh relationship and reveal the vibration characteristics of external spur gears with gear wear.A geometric model for a new mesh relationship with gear wear is proposed,which is utilized to evaluate the influence of gear wear on mesh stiffness and unloaded static transmission error(USTE).Based on the mesh stiffness and USTE considering gear wear,a gear dynamic model is established,and the vibration characteristics of gear wear are numerically studied.Comparison with the experimental results verifies the proposed dynamic model based on the new mesh relationship.The numerical and experimental results indicate that gear wear does not change the structure of the spectrum,but it alters the amplitude of the meshing frequencies and their sidebands.Several condition indicators,such as root-mean-square,kurtosis,and first-order meshing frequency amplitude,can be regarded as important bases for judging gear wear state.Zhixian SHEN Laihao YANG Baijie QIAO Wei LUO Xuefeng CHEN Ruqiang YAN 2022Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2022,17,1:0

19Clinical phenotype features and genetic etiologies of 38 children with progressive myoclonic epilepsy显示文摘Background:Progressive myoclonic epilepsy(PME)is a group of neurodegenerative diseases with genetic heterogeneity and phenotypic similarities,and many cases remain unknown of the genetic causes.This study is aim to summarize the clinical features and study the genetic causes of PME patients.Methods:Sanger sequencing of the target gene,Next Generation Sequencing(NGS)panels of epilepsy,trio-based Whole Exome Sequencing(WES)and detection of cytosine-adenine-guanine(CAG)repeat number were used to investigate the genetic causes of PME patients.Results:Thirty-eight children with PME whose seizure onset age ranged from 3 months to 12 years were collected from February 2012 to November 2019 in three hospitals in Beijing,China.The seizure types included myoclonic seizures(n=38),focal seizures(n=19),generalized tonic-clonie seizure(GTCS)(n=13),absence seizures(n=4),atonic seizures(n=3),epileptic spasms(n=2)and tonic seizures(n=1).Twenty-seven cases were sporadic and 11 had family members affected.Established PME-related genes were identified in 30 out of 38(78.9%)patients who had either recessively inherited or de novo heterozygous mutations.Among these 30 cases,there were 12 cases(31.6%)of neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses(the causing gene contains TPP1,PPT1,CLN5,CLN6 and MFSD8),two cases of sialidosis(the causing gene is NEU1),two cases of neuronopathic Gaucher disease(the causing gene is GBA),one case of spinal muscular atrophy-progressive myoclonic epilepsy(the causing gene is ASAH1),four cases of KCNC1 mutation-related PME,four cases of KCTD7 mutation-related PME,two cases of TBC1D24 mutation-related PME,one case of GOSR2 related PME,and two of dentatorubral-pallidoluysian atrophy(the causing gene is ATN1).In total,13 PME genes were identified in our cohort.The etiology was not clear in eight patients.Conclusion:PME is a group of clinically and genetically heterogeneous diseases.Genetic diagnosis was clear in 78.9%of PME patients.Various of genetic testing methods could increase the rate of genetic diagnosis.Neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses(NCL)is the most common etiology of PME in children.Nearly one third PME children were diagnosed with NCL.GOSR2 related PME was in our cohort in Asia for the first time.Jing Zhang Ying Yang Xueyang Niu Jiaoyang Chen Wei Sun Changhong Ding Lifang Dai Liping Zhang Qi Zeng Yi Chen Xiaojuan Tian Xiaoling Yang Taoyun Ji Zhixian Yang Yanling Yang Yuwu Jiang Yuehua Zhang 2020Acta Epileptologica2020,2,1:0
20Multilayer two-dimensional lignin/ZnO composites with excellent anti-UV aging properties for polymer films显示文摘Lignin is a kind of natural green polymer with abundant active functional groups and designable molecular structure.In this work,the quaternized lignosulfonate(QLS)with amphoteric characteristic was prepared through chemical modification using lignosulfonate sodium(LS).Then,a lignin-confined multilayered two-dimensional composite(QLS/ZnO)was prepared by one-step dynamic hydrothermal method using QLS,zinc nitrate,and hexamethylenetetramine.The QLS/ZnO has a regular pie-shaped structure,which is composed of 3-5 layers of two-dimensional nanosheets with a thickness of~10 nm.It shows excellent ultraviolet light absorption performance and active photoelectron scavenging performance,and thus showing great application potential in polymer materials.The water polyurethane(WPU)and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)films showed excellent UV shielding performance and good mechanical properties when doped with the QLS/ZnO.The tensile strength of WPU t 0.6 wt%QLS/ZnO and PVA t 0.8 wt%QLS/ZnO composite films is increased by 49%and 24%,respectively,and the elongation at break is increased by 138%and 33%.Furthermore,the composite films showed excellent anti-UV aging resistance after being aged under strong UV irradiation for 14 days.This work is of great significance to the high-value application of industrial lignin in the field of nano-functional materials.Lizhu Zhang Yuanyuan Wang Dongjie Yang Huan Wang Weifeng Liu Zhixian Li 2022Green Chemical Engineering2022,3,4:0
