| 1 | Reappraisement and refinement of zircon U-Pb isotope and trace element analyses by LA-ICP-MS显示文摘A protocol was established for simultaneous measurements of zircon U-Pb ages and trace elements by LA-ICP-MS at spot sizes of 16 32 μm.This was accomplished by introducing N 2 into ICP to increase the sensitivity.The obtained U-Pb ages for zircon standards GJ-1,TEMORA and SK10-2 are consistent with the preferred values within about 1% uncertainty (2σ) by simple external calibration against zircon standard 91500.Different data reduction softwares could yield different uncertainties for calculation of U-Pb ages.The commercially available program GLITTER4.4 could apply an improper uncertainty calculation strategy,but it may yield artificial high precisions for single analyses.Our trace element analyses indicate that Si is not an ideal internal standard for zircon when calibrated against the NIST glasses.Calibration against the NIST glasses using Si as an internal standard,a systematic deviation of 10% 30% was found for most trace elements including Zr.However,the trace element compositions of zircon can be accurately measured by calibration against multiple reference materials with natural compositions (e.g.,BCR-2G,BHVO-2G and BIR-1G),or calibration against NIST SRM 610 and using Zr as an internal standard.Analyses of two pieces of GJ-1 demonstrate that it is relatively homogenous for most trace elements (except for Ti). | LIU YongSheng HU ZhaoChu ZONG KeQing GAO ChangGui GAO Shan XU Juan CHEN HaiHong | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010，55，15： | 1011 |

| 5 | In-situ U-Pb dating of uraninite by fs-LA-ICP-MS显示文摘In this study,the Pb/U fractionation between zircon and uraninite during femtosecond Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry(fs-LA-ICP-MS)analysis was studied in detail.The results show significant Pb/U fractionation between zircon and uraninite during fs-LA-ICP-MS analysis that when calibrated against the zircon standard M257,the obtained U-Pb age of the Chinese national uraninite standard GBW04420 is 17%older than the recommended value.Thus,the accurate in-situ U-Pb dating of uraninite by LA-ICP-MS requires matrix-matched external standards for calibration.Uraninite in thin sections of two U-mineralized leucogranite from the Gaudeanmus in Namibia was analyzed by a fs-LA-ICP-MS equipped with a Signal Smooth Device(SSD),using laser spot and frequency of 10μm and 1 Hz,respectively.When calibrated using GBW04420 as the external standard,two samples give weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages of 504±3 Ma(2σ,n=21)and503±3 Ma(2σ,n=22),and only one of two samples yields a concordia U-Pb age of 507±1 Ma(2σ,n=21).These results are consistent with ID-TIMS U-Pb ages of 509±1 and 508±12 Ma and are also indistinguishable from zircon U-Pb upper intercept ages of 506±33 Ma(2σ,n=29)and 501±51 Ma(2σ,n=29).The present study shows that in-situ U-Pb dating of uraninite can deliver more reliable formation ages of the deposit than dating coeval high-U zircon because the latter commonly suffer significant Pb loss after formation.Our results confirm that GBW04420 is an ideal matrix matching standard for in-situ U-Pb dating of uraninite. | ZONG KeQing CHEN JinYong HU ZhaoChu LIU YongSheng LI Ming FAN HongHai MENG YanNing | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015，58，10： | 22 |
| 6 | A Review of the Functional and Anatomical Default Mode Network in Schizophrenia显示文摘Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder characterized by impaired perception,delusions,thought disorder,abnormal emotion regulation,altered motor function,and impaired drive. The default mode network(DMN),since it was first proposed in 2001,has become a central research theme in neuropsychiatric disorders,including schizophrenia. In this review,first we define the DMN and describe its functional activity,functional and anatomical connectivity,heritability,and inverse correlation with the task positive network. Second,we review empirical studies of the anatomical and functional DMN,and anti-correlation between DMN and the task positive network in schizophrenia. | 8 | Effects of Xinfeng capsule on pulmonary function based on treg-mediated notch pathway in a rat model of adjuvant arthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the impact of xinfeng xapsule(XFC) on pulmonary function in a rat model of adjuvant arthritis(AA) and to investigate the mechanism of action.METHODS:Forty rats were randomly divided into four groups of ten:normal control(NC);model control(MC);tripterygium glycosides tablet(TPT);and xinfeng capsule(XFC).Except for the NC group,AA was induced in all rats by intracutaneous injection of 0.1 mL Freund's complete adjuvant in the right paw on the 19th day.NC and MC groups were given(0.9%) physiological saline.The TPT and XFC groups were given TPT(10 mg/kg) and XFC(1.2 g/kg),respectively.Thirty days after administration,changes in paw edema(E),the arthritis index(AI),pulmonary function,levels of regulatory T-cells(Treg),ultrastructure of lung tissue,and expression of Notch receptors and ligands in lung tissue were observed.RESULTS:In the MC group,E and the AI were increased and pulmonary function significantly decreased;the structure of alveolar type-II cells was damaged;ratios of Treg in peripheral blood were reduced;and expression of Notch receptors such as Notch3 and Notch4 and ligands such as Delta1 in lung tissue were significantly increased whereas expression of Notch1,Jagged1 and Jagged2 were significantly decreased.After intervention with XFC,E and the AI were decreased;pulmonary function was enhanced;the structure of alveolar type-II cells was improved;and expression of Treg,Notch1,Jagged1,Jagged2 was elevated,whereas that of Notch3,Notch4 and Delta1 was reduced.CONCLUSION:XFC can not only inhibit E and the AI and improve joint symptoms,it can also improve pulmonary function and reduce inflammation in lung tissue.These actions could be carried out through increases in the expression of Treg,Notch receptors(Notch1) and ligands(Jagged1,Jagged2),and reductions in the expression of Notch3,Notch4 and Delta1.These phenomena would reduce the deposition of immune complexes and the inflammatory response in lung tissue,thereby improving joint symptoms and pulmonary function. | Lei Wan Jian Liu Chuanbing Huang Yuan Wang Xi Shen Wandong Zhang Guizheng Wang Haixia Fan Yao Ge Ruilian Chen Yunxiang Cao Ruikai Zong Li Lei | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012，32，3： | 17 |
| 9 | Phase 1 clinical trial demonstrated that MUC1 positive metastatic seminal vesicle cancer can be effectively eradicated by modified Anti-MUC1 chimeric antigen receptor transduced T cells显示文摘Recent progress in chimeric antigen receptor-modified T-cell(CAR-T cell) technology in cancer therapy is extremely promising, especially in the treatment of patients with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In contrast, due to the hostile immunosuppressive microenvironment of a solid tumor, CAR T-cell accessibility and survival continue to pose a considerable challenge, which leads to their limited therapeutic efficacy. In this study, we constructed two anti-MUC1 CAR-T cell lines. One set of CAR-T cells contained SM3 single chain variable fragment(sc Fv) sequence specifically targeting the MUC1 antigen and co-expressing interleukin(IL) 12(named SM3-CAR). The other CAR-T cell line carried the SM3 sc Fv sequence modified to improve its binding to MUC1 antigen(named p SM3-CAR) but did not co-express IL-12. When those two types of CAR-T cells were injected intratumorally into two independent metastatic lesions of the same MUC1+ seminal vesicle cancer patient as part of an interventional treatment strategy, the initial results indicated no side-effects of the MUC1 targeting CAR-T cell approach, and patient serum cytokines responses were positive. | 10 | High precision in-situ Pb isotopic analysis of sulfide minerals by femtosecond laser ablation multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry显示文摘An in-situ microanalysis of Pb isotopic compositions in sulfide minerals is carried out by using femtosecond laser-ablation multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(fs LA-MC-ICP-MS).High-temperature-activated carbon was used to filter Hg contained in the carrier gas,which reduced the Hg background signal by 48%and also lowered the detection limit of the analysis.Fractionation and mass discrimination effects existing in the ICP-MS analytical processes were corrected using an internal reference Tl in conjunction with an external reference NIST SRM 610.The proposed method was used to analyze the Pb isotopic compositions of chalcopyrite,pyrite,and sphalerite from the Dulong Sn-Zn-In polymetallic ore district.The results showed that in this ore district,the sulfide minerals and different grains of the same sulfide mineral show a large variation in Pb content up to 1000-fold.The studied pyrites show relatively higher Pb contents and homogeneous Pb isotopic compositions,whereas the sphalerites have low Pb contents but most variable Pb isotopic compositions.It is suggested that the large variation of Pb isotopic composition may reflect a late hydrothermal superimposition on the primary sulfide formation.In addition,radiogenic Pb accumulated by radioactive decay of trace amounts of U over time in the host minerals may also be one of the causes for the large variation range of Pb content and Pb isotopic composition of those low-Pb sphalerites.Chalcopyrite and sphalerite grains with Pb content greater than 10 ppm presented a consistent Pb isotopic distribution,whereas all the sulfide grains with Pb content greater than 100 ppm had consistent Pb isotopic composition within 2s measurement uncertainties.The in-situ analysis of Pb isotopic composition agreed well with the results obtained by conventional chemical methods within2s measurement uncertainties,indicating that the data obtained by fs LA-MC-ICP-MS are reliable.Additionally,this study indicates that the Pb isotopic composition could truthfully record the source of ore-forming minerals only for sulfide minerals with high Pb content.On the contrary,the Pb isotopic composition of low-Pb sulfide minerals may be affected by trace amounts of U in the host minerals that may lead to a highly radiogenic Pb isotope ratio.Alternatively,it is also possible that late fluid metasomatic overprinting may alter the Pb isotopic compositions. | YUAN HongLin YIN Cong LIU Xu CHEN KaiYun BAO ZhiAn ZONG ChunLei DAI MenNing LAI ShaoCong WANG Rong JIANG ShaoYong | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015，58，10： | 14 |
| 11 | Cerebral small vessel disease or intracranial large vessel atherosclerosis may carry different risk for future strokes显示文摘Background The effect of cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD)and intracranial arterial stenosis(ICAS)on stroke outcomes remains unclear.Methods Data of 1045 patients with minor stroke or transient ischaemic attack(TIA)were obtained from 45 sites of the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE)trial.We assessed the associations of burdens of CSVD and ICAS with new strokes and bleeding events using multivariate Cox regression models and those with modified Rankin Scale(mRS)scores using ordinal logistic regression models.Results Among the 1045 patients,CSVD was present in 830 cases(79.4%)and ICAS in 460(44.0%).Patients with>1 ICAS segment showed the highest risk of new strokes(HR 2.03,95%CI 1.15 to 3.56,p=0.01).No association between CSVD and the occurrence of new strokes was found.The presence of severe CSVD(common OR(cOR)2.01,95%CI 1.40 to 2.89,p<0.001)and>1 ICAS segment(cOR 2.15,95%CI 1.57 to 2.93,p<0.001)was associated with higher mRS scores.Severe CSVD(HR 10.70,95%CI 1.16 to 99.04,p=0.04),but not ICAS,was associated with a higher risk of bleeding events.Six-point modified CSVD score improved the predictive power for bleeding events and disability.Interpretation CSVD is associated with more disability and bleeding events,and ICAS is associated with an increased risk of stroke and disability in patients with minor stroke and TIA at 3 months.CSVD and ICAS may represent different vascular pathologies and play distinct roles in stroke outcomes. | Huimin Chen Yuesong Pan Lixia Zong Jing Jing Xia Meng Yuyuan Xu Hongyi Yan Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Hao Li S Claiborne Johnston Yongjun Wang Yilong Wang | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020，5，2： | 13 |

| 15 | Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. | 18 | A 12-year cohort study on the efficacy of plasmaderived hepatitis B vaccine in rural newborns显示文摘AIM To understand the anti-HBs persistenceand the long-term preventive efficacy in ruralnewborns after vaccination with plasma-derivedhepatitis B vaccine.METHODS In the time of expanded program onimmunization(EPI),the newborns werevaccinated with 10μg×3 doses of hepatitis Bvaccine and 762 newborns who were HBsAgnegative after primary immunization wereselected for cohort observation from 1986 to1998.Their serum samples were detectedqualitatively and quantitatively for hepatitis Binfecting markers,including HBsAg,anti-HBsand anti-HBc by SPRIA Kits.The annual HBsAgpositive conversion rate was counted by life-table method.RESULTS①The anti-HBs positive rate was94.44% for the babies born to HBsAg negativemothers and 84.21% for those born to HBsAgpositive mothers in the 1st year afterimmunization,and dropped to 51.31% and52.50% in the 12th year respectively.GMT valuewas dropped from 31.62 to 3.13 and 23.99 to 3.65in the 2nd to the 12th year respectively.Therewas a marked drop in GMT at the 3rd to the 5thyear,and in anti-HBs positive rate at the 9th tothe 10th year.②In the period of 12 yearsobservation,the person-year HBsAg positive conversion rates were 0.12%(5/4150.0)innewborns born to HBsAg negative mothers and0.20%(1/508.0)in those born to HBsAgpositive mothers,and none of the HBsAgpositive converted children became HBsAgchronic carriers.Compared with the baselinebefore immunization,the protective rates were97.19% and 95.32% respectively.CONCLUSION The protective efficacy ofplasma-derived hepatitis B vaccine persisted atleast 12 years,and a booster dose seems notnecessary within at least 12 years after theprimary three-doses immunization to newbornsborn to HBsAg negative mothers. | Hong Bin Liu Zong Da Meng Jing Chen Ma Chang Quan Han Ying Lin Zhang Zhan Chun Xing Yu Wei Zhang Yu Zhong Liu Hui Lin Cao | 2000 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2000，6，3： | 11 |
| 19 | Expert consensus on the evaluation and diagnosis of combat injuries of the Chinese People's Liberation Army显示文摘The accurate assessment and diagnosis of combat injuries are the basis for triage and treatment of combat casualties. A consensus on the assessment and diagnosis of combat injuries was made and discussed at the second annual meeting of the Professional Committee on Disaster Medicine of the Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA). In this consensus agreement, the massive hemorrhage, airway, respiration, circulation and hypothermia(MARCH) algorithm, which is a simple triage and rapid treatment and field triage score, was recommended to assess combat casualties during the first-aid stage, whereas the abbreviated scoring method for combat casualty and the MARCH algorithm were recommended to assess combat casualties in level Ⅱ facilities. In level Ⅲ facilities, combined measures, including a history inquiry, thorough physical examination, laboratory examination, X-ray, and ultrasound examination, were recommended for the diagnosis of combat casualties. | 20 | Use of Xinfeng capsule to treat abarticular pathologic changes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the influence of Xinfengcapsule(XFC) on abarticular pathologic changes(APCs) and other indices of patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and explore the mechanism of action of XFC in improving such changes.METHODS: Three-hundred RA patients were divided randomly into a treatment group(n=150) and control group(n=150). A normal control(NC)group(n=90) was also created. Changes in cardiac function, pulmonary function, anemia indices and platelet parameters of RA patients were measured.Curative effects of the two groups were compared,and comparison carried out with the NC group.RESULTS: In 300 RA patients, late diastolic peak flow velocity(A peak) was much higher(P<0.01)and early diastolic peak flow velocity(E peak), E/A,and left ventricular fraction shortening much lower(P<0.01) than those in the NC group. Vital capacity(VC), forced vital capacity in one second, forced vital capacity(FVC), maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV), maximal expiratory flow in 50% of VC(FEF50) and FEF75 were lowered remarkably(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Platelet count(PLT), plateletcrit(PCT) and mean platelet volume(MPV) increased markedly(P<0.05 or P<0.01), and hemoglobin(Hb)level decreased significantly(P<0.05). After XFC treatment, the A peak and PLT and PCT were much lower(P<0.05), and E/A and the number of red blood cells as well as Hb level were much higher(P<0.05), as were FVC, MVV and FEF50(P<0.05 or P<0.01), in the treatment group than those in the NC group. Total score of pain and swelling in joints,uric-acid level and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein level were much lower, and superoxide dismutase level as well as the number of CD4 +CD25+ regulation T cells(Treg) and CD4+CD25+CD127- Treg were much higher(P<0.05 or P<0.01)in the treatment group than those in the NC group.CONCLUSION: RA patients with pathologic changes in joints also suffer from lower cardiac and pulmonary functions and from parameters of anemia and platelet factors. XFC can improve the symptoms of RA patients, ameliorate their cardiac and pulmonary functions and reduce the parameters of anemia and platelet factors.
