| 1 | Motion trajectory prediction based on a CNN-LSTM sequential model显示文摘Accurate monitoring the surrounding environment is an important research direction in the field of unmanned systems such as bio-robotics,and has attracted much research attention in recent years.The trajectories of surrounding vehicles should be predicted accurately in space and time to realize active defense and running safety of an unmanned system.However,there is uncertainty and uncontrollability in the process of trajectory prediction of surrounding obstacles.In this study,we propose a trajectory prediction method based on a sequential model,that fuses two neural networks of a convolutional neural network(CNN)and a long short-term memory network(LSTM).First,a box plot is used to detect and eliminate abnormal values of vehicle trajectories,and valid trajectory data are obtained.Second,the trajectories of surrounding vehicles are predicted by merging the characteristics of CNN space expansion and LSTM time expansion;the hyper-parameters of the model are optimized according to a grid search algorithm,which satisfies the double-precision prediction requirement in space and time.Finally,data from next generation simulation(NGSIM)and Creteil roundabout in France are taken as test cases;the correctness and rationality of the method are verified by prediction error indicators.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CNNLSTM method is more accurate and features a shorter time cost,which meets the prediction requirements and provides an effective method for the safe operation of unmanned systems. | Guo XIE Anqi SHANGGUAN Rong FEI Wenjiang JI Weigang MA Xinhong HEI | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,11: | 24 |

| 4 | Aerial observations of sea ice and melt ponds near the North Pole during CHINARE2010显示文摘An aerial photography has been used to provide validation data on sea ice near the North Pole where most polar orbiting satellites cannot cover. This kind of data can also be used as a supplement for missing data and for reducing the uncertainty of data interpolation. The aerial photos are analyzed near the North Pole collected during the Chinese national arctic research expedition in the summer of 2010(CHINARE2010). The result shows that the average fraction of open water increases from the ice camp at approximately 87°N to the North Pole, resulting in the decrease in the sea ice. The average sea ice concentration is only 62.0% for the two flights(16 and 19 August 2010). The average albedo(0.42) estimated from the area ratios among snow-covered ice,melt pond and water is slightly lower than the 0.49 of HOTRAX 2005. The data on 19 August 2010 shows that the albedo decreases from the ice camp at approximately 87°N to the North Pole, primarily due to the decrease in the fraction of snow-covered ice and the increase in fractions of melt-pond and open-water. The ice concentration from the aerial photos and AMSR-E(The Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer-Earth Observing System) images at 87.0°–87.5°N exhibits similar spatial patterns, although the AMSR-E concentration is approximately 18.0%(on average) higher than aerial photos. This can be attributed to the 6.25 km resolution of AMSR-E, which cannot separate melt ponds/submerged ice from ice and cannot detect the small leads between floes. | 6 | Changes in the root system of the herbaceous peony and soil properties under different years of continuous planting and replanting显示文摘The herbaceous peony(Paeonia lactiflora Pall.)has high ornamental value.Replanting problems occur when seedlings are replanted into previous holes.We studied the root system and soil environment of the'Dongjingnvlang'variety under a continuous planting regime of one,four,and seven years,and a replanting regime of one and four years.Under the condition of continuous planting,with the increase of number of years,pH,ammonium nitrogen,and nitrate nitrogen decreased in the rhizosphere and non-rhizosphere soils,whereas organic matter,available phosphorus and potassium,enzyme activities,and the number of bacteria,fungi,and actinomycetes increased.Under the condition of replanting,with the increase of number of years,fungi and actinomycetes in both soils increased,while pH,organic matter,nutrients,enzyme activities,and bacterial number decreased.pH,organic matter,nutrient content,enzyme activity and the number of bacterial were lower in soil replanted for four years,whereas the abundance of fungi and actinomycetes was higher,altering the soil from“bacterial high-fertility”to“fungal low-fertility”with increasing years of replanting.The activity of antioxidant enzymes and MDA content in roots of peony in replanting were higher than those in continuous planting,while the content of osmotic regulatory substances in replanting was lower than that in continuous planting.The results showed that there were no obvious adverse factors in soil during seven years of continuous planting,and herbaceous peony could maintain normal growth and development.However,soils after four years of replanting were not suitable for herbaceous peony growth.Benzoic acid increased with years of replanting,which potentially caused replanting problems.This study provides a theoretical basis for understanding the mechanism of replanting problems in the herbaceous peony. | Anqi Xie Limin Sun Dongliang Zhang Yang Li Zemiao Liu Xue Li Xia Sun | 2023 | Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,4: | 1 |
