| 1 | Running-in Test and Fractal Methodology for Worn Surface Topography Characterization显示文摘Studying and understanding of the surface topography variation are the basis for analyzing tribological problems,and characterization of worn surface is necessary.Fractal geometry offers a more accurate description for surface roughness that topographic surfaces are statistically self-similar and can be quantitatively evaluated by fractal parameters.The change regularity of worn surface topography is one of the most important aspects of running-in study.However,the existing research normally adopts only one friction matching pair to explore the surface topography change,which interrupts the running-in wear process and makes the experimental result lack authenticity and objectivity.In this paper,to investigate the change regularity of surface topography during the real running-in process,a series of running-in tests by changing friction pairs under the same operating conditions are conducted on UMT-II Universal Multifunction Tester.The surface profile data are acquired by MiaoXAM2.5X-50X Ultrahigh Precision Surface 3D Profiler and analyzed using fractal dimension D,scale coefficient C and characteristic roughness Ra *based on root mean square(RMS) method.The characterization effects of the three parameters are discussed and compared.The results obtained show that there exists remarkable fractal feature of surface topography during running-in process,both D and Ra *increase gradually,while C decreases slowly as the wear-in process goes on,and all parameters tend to be stable when the wear process steps into the normal wear process.Ra *illustrates higher sensitivity for rough surface characterization compared with the other two parameters.In addition,the running-in test carried with a set of identical surface properties is more scientific and reasonable than the traditional one.The proposed research further indicates that the fractal method can quantitatively measure the rough surface,which also provides an evidence for running-in process identification and tribology design. | JI Cuicui ZHU Hua JIANG Wei LU Binbin | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,5: | 18 |

| 4 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). | 6 | Ce-modified AlZr pillared clays supported-transition metals for catalytic combustion of chlorobenzene显示文摘In this article, we provided a one-step hydrothermal method to prepare composite AlZr pillaring agents,and synthesized AlZr-pillared clays(AlZr-PILC) via ion exchange. Compared with conventional methods,our method successfully shortened synthetic routes and greatly reduced consumption of the materials.Then, AlZr-PILC-supported manganese and cerium oxide catalysts were obtained by impregnation method. The compositions and properties of these catalysts were characterized by some technical means.The energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy clearly shows the existence of Mn, Ce, and O, which indicates the successful loading of the active components on the surface of AlZr-PILC. Meanwhile, the results of Xray diffraction(XRD) and N_2 adsorption experiments demonstrate that the synthesized AlZr-PILC outperforms the raw clays(Na-mmt) and mononuclear AI-PILC in the catalytic combustion of chlorobenzene. XRD and high-re solution transmission electron microscopy also proves that the high activity of them is related to the high dispersion of the oxides and the exposure of more active sites. H_2-temperature-programmed reduction shows that cerium can promote the redox cycles of the manganese system through the strong interactions between MnO_2, CeO_2 and AlZr-PILC. | 7 | Effect of boron on bainitic transformation kinetics after ausforming in low carbon steels显示文摘The addition of boron(B) is frequently adopted to increase the hardenability of bainitic steels. Although it is well known that B can retard the bainitic transformation kinetics, it is still not clear how the B affects the bainitic transformation kinetics after ausforming. By systematic high-resolution dilatometry tests, the present work reveals that the bainitic transformation kinetics is accelerated in a low C steel with B addition after ausforming from all aspects including incubation time, transformation velocity and transformed volume fraction. In contrast, for the same steel without B addition, both transformation velocity and transformed volume fraction are retarded after ausforming. It is proposed that ausforming can reduce B segregation at prior austenite grain boundaries as some boron can interact with dislocations and therefore enhance bainite nucleation rate. Furthermore, auforming can refine the average volume of bainitic sheaf. | 8 | Ultralight Magnetic and Dielectric Aerogels Achieved by Metal-Organic Framework Initiated Gelation of Graphene Oxide for Enhanced Microwave Absorption显示文摘The development of a convenient methodology for synthesizing the hierarchically porous aerogels comprising metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)and graphene oxide(GO)building blocks that exhibit an ultralow density and uniformly distributed MOFs on GO sheets is important for various applications.Herein,we report a facile route for synthesizing MOF/reduced GO(rGO)aerogels based on the gelation of GO,which is directly initiated using MOF crystals.Free metal ions exposed on the surface of MIL-88A nanorods act as linkers that bind GO nanosheets to a three-dimensional porous network via metal–oxygen covalent or electrostatic interactions.The MOF/rGOderived magnetic and dielectric aerogels Fe_(3)O_(4)@C/rGO and Ni-doped Fe_(3)O_(4)@C/rGO show notable microwave absorption(MA)performance,simultaneously achieving strong absorption and broad bandwidth at low thickness of 2.5(-58.1 dB and 6.48 GHz)and 2.8 mm(-46.2 dB and 7.92 GHz)with ultralow filling contents of 0.7 and 0.6 wt%,respectively.The microwave attenuation ability of the prepared aerogels is further confirmed via a radar cross-sectional simulation,which is attributed to the synergistic effects of their hierarchically porous structures and heterointerface engineering.This work provides an effective pathway for fabricating hierarchically porous MOF/rGO hybrid aerogels and offers magnetic and dielectric aerogels for ultralight MA. | Xiaogu Huang Jiawen Wei Yunke Zhang BinBin Qian Qi Jia Jun Liu Xiaojia Zhao Gaofeng Shao | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,7: | 4 |
| 9 | Materials Experiment on Tiangong-2 Space Laboratory显示文摘During the China's Tiangong-2(TG-2) flight mission, the experiments of 18 kinds of material samples were conducted in space by using a Multiple Materials Processing Furnace(MMPF) mounted in the orbital module of the TG-2 space laboratory. After the experiments of 12 kinds of samples of the first and second batches were completed successfully, astronauts packed and brought them back to the ground by ShenzhouII spacecraft. By studying processing and formation on semiconductor and optoelectronics materials, metal alloys and metastable materials, functional single-crystal, micro-and nano-composite materials encapsulated in sample ampoules both in space and on Earth, we expect to explore some physical and chemical processes and mechanism of the materials formation that are normally obscured and therefore are difficult to study quantitatively on the ground due to the gravity-induced convection, to obtain the processing and synthesis technology for preparing high quality materials, and lead to the improvement and development of materials processing techniques on Earth, and also develop the experiment device and comprehensive ability for materials experiment in microgravity environment. | 13 | Effect of Facet Displacement on Radiation Field and Its Application for Panel Adjustment of Large Reflector Antenna显示文摘Large reflector antennas are widely used in radars, satellite communication, radio astronomy, and so on. The rapid developments in these fields have created demands for development of better performance and higher surface accuracy. However, low accuracy and low efficiency are the common disadvantages for traditional panel alignment and adjustment. In order to improve the surface accuracy of large reflector antenna, a new method is presented to determinate panel adjustment values from far field pattern. Based on the method of Physical Optics(PO),the effect of panel facet displacement on radiation field value is derived. Then the linear system is constructed between panel adjustment vector and far field pattern.Using the method of Singular Value Decomposition(SVD), the adjustment value for all panel adjustors are obtained by solving the linear equations. An experiment is conducted on a 3.7 m reflector antenna with 12 segmented panels. The results of simulation and test are similar, which shows that the presented method is feasible. Moreover, the discussion about validation shows that the method can be used for many cases of reflector shape. | 14 | Radiation belt electron scattering by whistler-mode chorus in the Jovian magnetosphere: Importance of ambient and wave parameters显示文摘Whistler-mode chorus waves are regarded as an important acceleration mechanism contributing to the formation of relativistic and ultra-relativistic electrons in the Jovian radiation belts. Quantitative determination of the chorus wave driven electron scattering effect in the Jovian magnetosphere requires detailed information of both ambient magnetic field and plasma density and wave spectral property, which however cannot be always readily acquired from observations of existed missions to Jupiter. We therefore perform a comprehensive analysis of the sensitivity of chorus induced electron scattering rates to ambient magnetospheric and wave parameters in the Jovian radiation belts to elaborate to which extent the diffusion coefficients depend on a number of key input parameters. It is found that quasi-linear electron scattering rates by chorus can be strongly affected by the ambient magnetic field intensity, the wave latitudinal coverage, and the peak frequency and bandwidth of the wave spectral distribution in the Jovian magnetosphere, while they only rely slightly on the background plasma density profile and the peak wave normal angle, especially when the wave emissions are confined at lower latitudes. Given the chorus wave amplitude, chorus induced electron scattering rates strongly depend on Jovian L-shell to exhibit a tendency approximately proportional to L_J^3. | 16 | XAFS study of Cu^(2+) in aqueous solution of CuBr_2显示文摘Copper ion is the essential microelement to many organisms. In this paper, the local structure of Cu2+ in CuBr2 aqueous solutions with different concentrations are investigated by using X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) technique. XANES (X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure) spectra indicate that charge transfer from Br- to Cu2+ decreases with the solution concentration, which lead to a shift of the absorption edge. The shoulder appearing at the rising edge proves to be characteristic of a tetragonal distortion. The Fourier transform magnitudes of EXAFS (Extended X-ray absorption fine structure) data of Cu species suggest that more Cu-Br bonds may exist in high concentrations. A fivefold coordination configuration like a pyramid is used as the fitting parameters. From the analysis of the coordination numbers, the proportion of Cu-O and Cu-Br is 4:1 in the saturated solution. The Br atom is on the equatorial plane of the model. | 18 | Variable slip window technology in transition detection on pitching airfoil显示文摘In the pitching motion,the unsteady transition and relaminarization position plays an important role in the dynamic characteristics of the airfoil.In order to facilitate the computer to automatically and accurately calculate the position of the transition and relaminarization,a Variable Slip Window Technology(VSWT)suitable for airfoil dynamic data processing was developed using the S809 airfoil experimental data in this paper and two calculation strategies,i.e.,global strategy and single point strategy,were proposed:global strategy and single point strategy.The core of the VSWT is the selection of the window function h and the parameters setting in the h function.The effect of the VSWT was evaluated using the dimensionless pulse strength value(INB),which can be used to evaluate the signal characteristics,of the root mean square(RMS)value of the fluctuating pressure.It is found that:the h function characteristics have a significant influence on the VSWT.The suitable functions are Hn function constructed in this paper and step function.For the left boundary of the magnified area,the step function can obtain the largest INB value,but the robustness is not good.The H1 function(Gaussian-like function,n=1)can show higher robustness while ensuring a large INB value.The two computing strategies,which are single point strategy and global strategy,have their own advantages and disadvantages.The former strategy,that is the single point strategy,can achieve a higher INB value,but the RMS magnification at the feature position needs to be known in advance.Although the INB value obtained by the latter strategy,that is the global strategy,is slightly smaller than the calculation results of the former strategy,it is not necessary to know the RMS magnification at the feature position in advance.So the global strategy has better robustness.The experimental data of NACA0012 airfoil was used to further validate the developed VSWT in this paper,and the results show that the VSWT developed in this paper can still double the INB value of the transition/relaminarization position.The VSWT developed in this paper has certain practicability,which is convenient for the computer to automatically determine the transition/relaminarization characteristics. | Binbin WEI Yongwei GAO Dong LI Lei DENG | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,4: | 2 |
| 19 | One-step synthesis of graphitic-C_3N_4/ZnS composites for enhanced supercapacitor performance显示文摘A series of graphitic-C_3N_4/ZnS(g-C_3N_4/ZnS) supercapacitor electrode materials have been prepared via a one-step calcination process of zinc acetate/thiourea with different mass ratios under nitrogen atmosphere. The optimized g-C_3N_4/ZnS composite shows a highest specific capacitance of 497.7 F/g at 1 A/g and good cycling stability with capacitance retention of 80.4% at 5 A/g after 1000 cycles. Moreover, gC_3N4/ZnS composites display an improved supercapacitor performance in terms of specific capacitance compared to the pure g-C_3N_4 and ZnS. In addition, our designed symmetric supercapacitor device based on g-C_3N_4/ZnS composite electrodes can exhibit an energy density of 10.4 Wh/kg at a power density of 187.3 W/kg.
