Temperature-induced Lifshitz transition in topological insulator candidate HfTe_5显示文摘The ongoing discoveries and studies of novel topological quantum materials have become an emergent and important field of condensed matter physics.Recently,HfTe_5 ignited renewed interest as a candidate of a novel topological material. The single-layer HfTe_5 is predicted to be a two-dimensional large band gap topological insulator and can be stacked into a bulk that may host a temperature-driven topological phase transition.Historically,HfTe_5 attracted considerable interest for its anomalous transport properties characterized by a peculiar resistivity peak accompanied by a sign reversal carrier type. The origin of the transport anomaly remains under a hot debate. Here we report the first high-resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission measurements on the temperature-dependent electronic structure in HfTe_5.Our results indicated that a temperature-induced Lifshitz transition occurs in HfTe_5,which provides a natural understanding on the origin of the transport anomaly in HfTe_5.In addition, our observations suggest that HfTe_5 is a weak topological insulator that is located at the phase boundary between weak and strong topological insulators at very low temperature. | Yan Zhang Chenlu Wang Guodong Liu Aiji Liang Lingxiao Zhao Jianwei Huang Qiang Gao Bing Shen Jing Liu Cheng Hu Wenjuan Zhao Genfu Chen Xiaowen Jia Li Yu Lin Zhao Shaolong He Fengfeng Zhang Shenjin Zhang Feng Yang Zhimin Wang Qinjun Peng Zuyan Xu Chuangtian Chen Xingjiang Zhou | 2017 | Science Bulletin2017,62,13: | 4
Coupled Tamm plasmon polaritons induced narrow bandpass filter with ultra-wide stopband显示文摘Narrow bandpass filters(NBPFs)play important roles in optics, such as quantum communication, spectrometer, and wavelength division multiplexing. However, the stopband and restraint ability of traditional NBPFs is limited. In this article,a coupled Tamm plasmon polaritons(TPPs)induced transmission theory has been proposed to design high-efficiency NBPFs with ultra-wide deep stopbands. An NBPF at 1.55 μm has been experimentally demonstrated with full width at half maximum(FWHM)of 10 nm and stopband ranging from 0.2 to 25 μm which is 62 times wider than that of traditional ones.Furthermore, the restraint depth of the stopband reaches 0.03%,which is only 1/20 of a traditional filter with the same FWHM.Its advantage in restraining ambient light over traditional ones has also been demonstrated with an InGaAs infrared detector. It provides a very powerful way to capture specific narrowband optical signals from ultra-wide strong ambient light, especially useful for daytime quantum communications. | Qingquan Liu Xinchao Zhao Chenlu Li Xinglei Zhou Yu Chen Shaowei Wang Wei Lu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,5: | 2
Toripalimab in advanced biliary tract cancer显示文摘Gemcitabine combined with platinum/fluorouracil drugs is the standard firstline treatment for advanced biliary tract cancers(BTCs).We explored the safety and efficacy of toripalimab plus gemcitabine and S-1(GS)as the first-line treatment for advanced BTCs.At a one-sided significance level of 0.025,a total of 50 patients could provide 80%power to show the efficacy at targeted progression-free survival(PFS)rate at 6 months of 70%versus 40%for the combined treatment. This single-arm,phase II study enrolled 50 patients with advanced BTCs who previously received no systemic treatment. The regimen was as follows:toripalimab(240 mg,i.v.,d1),gemcitabine(1,000 mg/m2,i.v.,d1 and d8),and S-1(40–60 mg bid p.o.,d1–14,Q21d).The primary endpoint was progression-free survival. The secondary endpoints included overall survival(OS),objective response rate(ORR),duration of response(DOR),and safety. The associations between response with PDL1 expression, tumor mutational burden(TMB),and genetic variations were explored.Patients were enrolled from January 2019 to August 2020,with a median follow-up time of 24.0 months(IQR:4.3–31.0 months). | Wei Li Yueqi Wang Yiyi Yu Qian Li Yan Wang Chenlu Zhang Xiaojing Xu Xi Guo Yu Dong Yuehong Cui Qing Hao Lujia Huang Houbao Liu Tianshu Liu | 2022 | The Innovation2022,3,4: | 1
LHRH/TAT dual peptides-conjugated polymeric vesicles for PTT enhanced chemotherapy to overcome hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Combination therapy such as photothermal therapy(PTT)enhanced chemotherapy is regarded as a promising strategy for cancer treatment.Herein,we developed redox-responsive polymeric vesicles based on the amphiphilic triblock copolymer PCL-ss-PEG-ss-PCL.To avoid the limited therapeutic effect of chemotherapeutic drugs caused by systemic exposures and drug resistance, the redox-sensitive polymeric vesicles were cargoed with two chemotherapeutics:doxorubicin(DOX)and paclitaxel(PTX).Besides, indocyanine green(ICG)was encapsulated, and cell-penetrating peptides and LHRH targeting molecule were modified on the surface of polymeric vesicles. The results indicated that the polymeric vesicles can load different kinds of drugs with high drug loading content, trigger drug release in responsive to the reductive environment, realize high cellular uptake via dual peptides and laser irradiation, and achieve higher cytotoxicity via chemo-photothermal combination therapy.Hence, the redox-responsive LHRH/TAT dual peptides-conjugated PTX/DOX/ICG co-loaded polymeric micelles exhibited great potential in tumor-targeting and chemo-photothermal therapy. | Yu Qin Qing Guo Shengjie Wu Chenlu Huang Zhiming Zhang Li Zhang Linhua Zhang Dunwan Zhu | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,12: | 1
Sonochemical synthesis of silver nanoparticles coated copper wire for low-temperature solid state bonding on silicon substrate显示文摘Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are directly grown on surface of ~25 μm copper wire by ultrasound-assisted chemical reduction. Silver nitrate is used as precursors, when polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is added as a controller of the dimension of AgNPs. Influence of growth parameters such as precursor's concentration, ratio proportion of PVP and ultra-sonication on the growth of AgNPs coating are determined. The best morphology, size of the AgNPs are observed on copper wire. The results show that the copper wire coated with AgNPs of^100 nm diameter exhibits good antioxidation and ohmic contact after sinter on Si substrate at a temperature as low as 320℃, is especially suitable as a substitute for silver paste electrode used in silicon solar cells. | Qiang Hu Chen Zhao Zhejuan Zhang Jun Guo Chenlu Yu Zhuo Sun Xianqing Piao | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,7: | 0
Integrated analysis of gut microbiome and host immune responses in COVID-19显示文摘Emerging evidence indicates that the gut microbiome contributes to the host immune response to infectious diseases. Here,to explore the role of the gut microbiome in the host immune responses in COVID-19,we conducted shotgun metagenomic sequencing and immune profiling of 14 severe/critical and 24 mild/moderate COVID-19 cases as well as 31 healthy control samples. We found that the diversity of the gut microbiome was reduced in severe/critical COVID-19 cases compared to mild/moderate ones.We identified the abundance of some gut microbes altered post-SARS-CoV-2 infection and related to disease severity, such as Enterococcus faecium,Coprococcus comes,Roseburia intestinalis,Akkermansia ntuciniphila,Bacteroides cellulosilyticus and Blautia obeum. We further analyzed the correlation between the abundance of gut microbes and host responses, and obtained a correlation map between clinical features of COVID-19 and 16 severity-related gut microbe, including Coprococcus comes that was positively correlated with CD3^(+)/CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)lymphocyte counts. In addition,an integrative analysis of gut microbiome and the transcriptome of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)showed that genes related to viral transcription and apoptosis were up-regulated in Coprococcus comes low samples. Moreover,a number of metabolic pathways in gut microbes were also found to be differentially enriched in severe/critical or mild/moderate COVID-19 cases, including the superpathways of polyamine biosynthesis II and sulfur oxidation that were suppressed in severe/critical COVID-19.Together,our study highlighted a potential regulatory role of severity related gut microbes in the immune response of host. | Xiaoguang Xu Wei Zhang Mingquan Guo Chenlu Xiao Ziyu Fu Shuting Yu Lu Jiang Shengyue Wang Yun Ling Feng Liu Yun Tan Saijuan Chen | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,2: | 0
Enhanced secondary organic aerosol formation during dust episodes by photochemical reactions in the winter in Wuhan显示文摘To investigate the effect of frequently occurring mineral dust on the formation of secondary organic aerosol(SOA),106 volatile organic compounds(VOCs),trace gas pollutants and chemical components of PM_(2.5) were measured continuously in January 2021 in Wuhan,Central China. The observation period was divided into two stages that included a haze period and a following dust period, based on the ratio of PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) concentrations. The average ratio of secondary organic carbon(SOC)to elemental carbon(EC)was 1.98 during the dust period, which was higher than that during the haze period(0.69).The contribution of SOA to PM_(2.5) also increased from 2.75% to 8.64%.The analysis of the relationships between the SOA and relative humidity(RH)and the odd oxygen(e.g.,O_(X)=O_(3)+NO_(2))levels suggested that photochemical reactions played a more important role in the enhancement of SOA production during the dust period than the aqueous-phase reactions. The heterogeneous photochemical production of OH radicals in the presence of metal oxides during the dust period was believed to be enhanced.Meanwhile, the ratios of trans-2-butene to cis-2-butene and m-/p-xylene to ethylbenzene(X/E)dropped significantly, confirming that stronger photochemical reactions occurred and SOA precursors formed efficiently. These results verified the laboratory findings that metal oxides in mineral dust could catalyse the oxidation of VOCs and induce higher SOA production. | Kai Xu Yafei Liu Chenlu Li Chen Zhang Xingang Liu Qijie Li Min Xiong Yujun Zhang Shijie Yin Yu Ding | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,11: | 0
Exploring the psychological impact of the 2022 SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant outbreak in China显示文摘To the editor:The impact of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic in 2020 on mental health was substantialin Chinai2and various other countries.34 Beyond the direct consequences of COVID-19,the pandemic created an environment in which many determinants of mental health were affected.Issues associated with the pandemic, such as loss of livelihood, limited access to medical services, reduced social interactions, and economic downturn, could potentially have adverse effects on the population's mental well-being.5 In November 2021,the World Health Organization(WHO)designated the new variant of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),variant B.1.1.529,as a variant of concern and named it Omicron;its rapid mutation and spread raised a new global health concern. | Gangbin Han Guirong Cheng Feifei Hu Chunli Li Dan Liu Juan Zhou Jing Liu Linya Huang Xiaochang Liu Qianqian Nie Dan Song Deyang Zeng Lang Xu Jinquan Li Yushan Chen Zhen Wei Qiong Wu Xiaoming He Qingming Wu Wei Tan Yufei Mei Xingxing Chen Yangming Ou Jingjing ZhangYafu Yu Mengliu Yang Pengfei Lian Fukai Zhou Renjia Fan Hong Wan Chenlu Hu Yidi Fu Shiyue Li Junyi Wang Cheng Cai Mengdie Pei Yuyang Cui Wanying Cai Yiqing Li Shiyao Pan Chang Chen Yan He Zhaoxia Wu Liu Hu Liang Tao Hongyan Xiao Xinyan Xie Yan Zeng | 2023 | General Psychiatry2023,36,6: | 0
