1Enhanced removal of ethylbenzene from gas streams in biotrickling filters by Tween-20 and Zn(Ⅱ)显示文摘The effects of Tween-20 and Zn(II)on ethylbenzene removal were evaluated using two biotrickling filters(BTFs),BTF1 and BTF2.Only BTF1 was fed with Tween-20 and Zn(II).Results show that ethylbenzene removal decreased from 94%to 69%for BTF1 and from 74%to 54%for BTF2 with increased organic loading from 64.8 to 189.0 g ethylbenzene/(m3·hr)at EBRT of 40 sec.The effect of EBRT(60–15 sec)at a constant ethylbenzene inlet concentration was more significant than that of EBRT(30–10 sec)at a constant organic loading.Biomass accumulation rate within packing media was reduced significantly.Lu Wang Chunping Yang Yan Cheng Jian Huang Haining Yang Guangming Zeng Li Lu Shanying He 2014Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,12:8

3Induction of embryonic stem cells to hematopoietic cells in vitro显示文摘In order to get hematopoietic cells from embryonic stem (ES) cells and to study development mechanisms of hematopoietic cells, the method of inducing embryonic stem cells to hematopoietic cells was explored by differenciating mouse ES cells and human embryonic cells in three stages. The differentiated cells were identified by flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and Wright’s staining. The results showed that embryoid bodies (EBs) could form when ES cells were cultured in the medium with 2-mercaptoethanol (2-ME). However, cytokines, such as stem cell factor (SCF), thrombopoietin (TPO), interleukin-3 (IL-3), interleukin-6 (IL-6), erythropoietin (EPO) and granular colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), were not helpful for forming EBs. SCF, TPO and embryonic cell conditional medium were useful for the differentiation of mouse EBs to hematopoietic progenitors. Eighty-six percent of these cells were CD34+ after 6-d culture. 4High strength and ductility of 34CrNiMo6 steel produced by laser solid forming显示文摘Because of the excellent mechanical properties of 34 CrNiMo6 steel, it is widely used in high-value components. Many conventional approaches to strengthening-steels typically involve the loss of useful ductility.In this study, 34 CrNiMo6 Steel having high strength and ductility is produced by laser solid forming(LSF)with a quenching-tempering(QT) treatment. Tempering of bainite is mainly by solid phase transformation in the previous LSF layers during the LSF process. The stable microstructure of LSF consists of ferrite and fine carbides. The microstructure transfers to tempered sorbite after heat-treatment. The tensile properties of the LSF steel meet those of the wrought standard. The UTS and elongation of LSF sample at 858 MPa, 19.2%, respectively, are greater than those of the wrought. The QT treatment enhanced the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the LSF sample. The ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, reduction in area, and elongation of the LSF+QT sample at 980 MPa, 916 MPa, 58.9%, and 13.9%,respectively, are greater than those of the wrought standard. The yield strength of the LSF+QT sample is approximately 1.27 times that of the wrought. The LSF samples failed in a ductile fracture mode, while the LSF+QT samples showed mixed-mode failure. 5Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Aer Met 100 Ultra-high Strength Steel Joints by Laser Welding显示文摘Aer Met100 ultra-high strength steel plates with a thickness of 2 mm were welded using a CO2 laser welding system. The influences of the welding process parameters on the morphology and microstructure of the welding joints were investigated, and the mechanical property of the welding joints was analyzed. The experimental results showed that the fusion zone of welding joint mainly consisted of columnar grains and a fine dendrite substructure grew epitaxially from the matrix. With the other conditions remaining unchanged, a finer weld microstructure was along with the scanning speed increase. The solidification microstructure gradually transformed from cellular crystal into dendrite crystal and the spaces of dendrite secondary arms rose from the fusion line to the center of the fusion zone. In the fusion zone of the weld, the rapid cooling caused the formation of martensite, which led the microhardness of the fusion zone higher than that of the matrix and the heat affected zone. The tensile strength of the welding joints was tested as 1 700 MPa, which was about 87% of the matrix. 6Effect of HS2 and HS3 elements on erythroid-specific expression in transgenic mice显示文摘The expression plasmids CMV/GFP, HS2ALL, HS3ALL and HS23ALL were selected to investigate the effect of HS2 and HS3 element on erythroid-specific expression in transgenic mice. These plasmids were digested with restriction enzymes and purified. And five DNA fragments, CMV/GFP, HS2/GFP, CMV/HS2/GFP, HS23/GFP and HS3/GFP were obtained. After purification, the above DNA fragments were microinjected into the pre-nuclei of the mice fertilized eggs and transgenic mice were generated, with an integration rate of 10.89%. The green fluorescence protein(GFP) expression in many transgenic mouse tissues was determined by FACS analysis. The results showed that the HS2 and 1.7 kb of β-globin gene promoter were sufficient for the erythroid-specific expression of β-globin gene. The GFP expression of different recombinant constructs was also analyzed in blood of all the transgenic mice with FACS. The results indicated that HS2 and HS3 had the same enhancement activity on the regulation of β-globin gene expression. 16乳腺癌干细胞多药耐药基因的表达及意义(英文)显示文摘Objective: To approach the expressions of MDR1 and BCRP in breast cancer stem cells and differentiated cells. Methods: The breast cancer stem cells were separated from human breast cancer primary tissues and MCF-7 by flow cytometry. Then we measured the expressions of MDR1 and BCRP with different subset cells by Realtime-PCR. Results: Contrasted with breast cancer differentiated cells, the expressions of MDR1 and BCRP in breast cancer stem cells were higher (P < 0.01), and the proportion of stem cells rose after chemotherapy (P < 0.01). 17The early risk stratification of the patients with acute chest pain显示文摘Objective:This investigation was designed to stratify patients with acute chest pain based on their symptoms,electrocardiogram(ECG),cardiac injury markers and the number of accompanying traditional risk factors(smoking,obesity,hyperlipemia,hypertension,diabetes),and to assess the effect of the above factors to obtain a risk stratification for patients with chest pain.Methods:We identified 139 patients with acute chest pain,including 45 myocardiac infarction patients,65 unstable angina patients and 29 chest pain patients without identified acute coronary syndrome(ACS) admitted to our Coronary Heart Center during December 2004 to February 2005.All patients accepted coronary angiography.All data was collected using questionnaires.Based on reported symptom,electrocardiogram(ECG),cardiac injury markers and the number of the accompanying traditional risk factors,we stratified all patients into four groups:Group 1,patients with acute chest pain,ECG changes and abnormal cardiac injury biomarkers.Group 2,patients with acute chest pain and ECG changes(without abnormal cardiac injury biomarkers).Group 3,patients with acute chest pain,normal ECG,normal cardiac injury biomarkers and >2 traditional risk factors.Group 4,patients with acute chest pain,normal ECG and normal cardiac injury biomarkers,but only≤2 traditional risk factors.From this data we examined the difference of ACS incidence in the four groups.Results:After stratification the ACS incidence of the grouped patients in turn was 100%,84%,69.6% and 53.3%.The combination of early phase ECG and cardiac injury markers identified 70.9% patients with ACS(the specificity being 90.7%).The mortality of group 3 was higher compared with group 4(69.6% vs 53.3%),however the P value was more than 0.05 and didn't show significant statistical difference.The correlation analysis found the number of the traditional risk factors had a significant positive correlation(r = 0.202,P = 0.044) with the number of stenosis being more than 50% of the artery diameter.Multiple linear regression showed the hypertension had a significant correlation with the number of the diseased regions(P = 0.014).Conclusions:The risk stratification based on the symptom,ECG,cardiac injury markers and accompanying traditional risk factors is both important and available in practice.It is unsuitable for patients with a normal ECG and cardiac injury markers to differentiate ACS from non-cardiac chest pain relying only on the number of the accompanying traditional risk factors.However we found the number of the risk factors can indicate the disease severity.Chunping Tang Yanrong Liu Qin Shen Zhijian Yang Jun Huang Ming Gui 2007Journal of Nanjing Medical University2007,21,6:0
18Expression of PC-cell-derived growth factor in breast cancer显示文摘This study is mainly aimed at evaluating the expression of PC-cell-derived growth factor(PCDGF)in breast cancer and breast adenofibroma,and to compare with other commonly used clinical pathological indices,then to investigate the diagnostic and targeted therapeutic purpose of PCDGF in breast cancer tissue.In this study,we detected the expression of PCDGF,p53 and CerbB-2 in breast cancer tissue and the expression of PCDGF in breast adenofibroma tissue by immunohistochemical method,and analyzed the relationship between them.We found that PCDGF was expressed in most breast cancer tissue,but was not in breast adenofibroma tissue,and the expression of PCDGF was related with the tumor’s pathological category and the expression of estrogen receptor(ER)and progesterone receptor(PR)and p53,but there was no statistical dependability between PCDGF and cerbB-2.From this study,we predict that PCDGF may serve as a marker in the secondary diagnosis of breast cancer,and may participate in the generation and differentiation of breast cancer cells,and become an effective target of therapy for breast cancer.Haiping SONG Lan SHI Chunping LIU Tao HUANG 2009Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,4:0
19Atypical manifestations of acute coronary syndrome—throat discomfort:a multi-center observational study显示文摘To present the clinical characteristics and the misdiagnosis rate of acute coronary syndrome manifested primarily as throat discomfort,we conducted a multicentric and retrospective study in the cardiology and otorhinolaryngology departments.Records of patients with primary complaint of throat discomfort,absence of chest pain at onset,and an ultimate diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome,as well as patients with pharyngitis(as controls)were collected from May 2015 to April 2016.The patients’main manifestations were compared.Logistic regression results showed that chest tightness,dyspnea,perspiring,and exertional throat symptoms were significantly associated with acute coronary syndrome,with odds ratios of 8.3(95%CI 2.2–31.5),10.9(95%CI 1.8–66.9),25.4(95%CI 3.6–179.9),and 81.2(95%CI 13.0–506.7).A total of 25(56.82%)out of 44 acute coronary syndrome patients,who were first admitted to the otorhinolaryngology department,were misdiagnosed,with a 12%(3/25)mortality rate.Throat discomfort can be the principal manifestation of acute coronary syndrome.Such patients exhibit high misdiagnosis and mortality rates.Exertional throat symptoms,chest tightness,perspiring,and dyspnea were important indicators of acute coronary syndrome in patients whose main complaint was throat discomfort.The awareness of this condition will result in prompt diagnosis and reduce morbidity and mortality.Yanqing Fang Xiaoting Cheng Wenhui Peng Xueying Chen Chunping Tang Qiusheng Huang Sihai Wu Yibo Huang Fanglu Chi Matthew RNaunheim Huawei Li Bing Chen Yilai Shu 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,4:0
