1A Review on Graphene-Based Gas/Vapor Sensors with Unique Properties and Potential Applications显示文摘Graphene-based gas/vapor sensors have attracted much attention in recent years due to their variety of structures, unique sensing performances, room-temperature working conditions, and tremendous application prospects, etc.Herein, we summarize recent advantages in graphene preparation, sensor construction, and sensing properties of various graphene-based gas/vapor sensors, such as NH_3, NO_2, H_2, CO, SO_2, H_2S, as well as vapor of volatile organic compounds.The detection mechanisms pertaining to various gases are also discussed. In conclusion part, some existing problems which may hinder the sensor applications are presented. 3Preparation of Palladium Supported on Ferric Oxide Nano-catalysts for Carbon Monoxide Oxidation in Low Temperature显示文摘Catalytic property of Pd/Fe2O3 catalysts on carbon monoxide(CO) oxidation at low temperature were investigated in this paper. Both the as-prepared and H2-pretreated Pd/Fe2O3 catalysts show catalytic performances on CO oxidation. The CO was completely converted at 333 K for the as-prepared sample,whereas at 313 K for H2-pretreated Pd/Fe2O3-573 catalyst. The catalytic performance of the Pd/Fe2O3 catalyst decreases with increased calcination temperature. This may be due to the increased crystallinity of the support and decreased metal-support interaction. 4A direct atomic layer deposition method for growth of ultra-thin lubricant tungsten disulfide films显示文摘We describe a direct atomic layer deposition method to grow lubricant tungsten disulfide(WS_2) films. The WS_2 films were deposited on a Si(100) substrate and a zinc sulfide(ZnS) film coated the Si(100) substrate using tungsten hexacarbonyl and hydrogen sulfide as precursors. The ZnS film served as an intermediate layer to facilitate the nucleation and growth of the WS_2 films. The thickness of the WS_2 films was measured via scanning electron microscope, the microstructure was probed with an X-ray diffractometer and a transmission electron microscope. The friction coefficient was measured with a ball-on-disk tester under dry nitrogen. The results reveal that the WS_2 films deposited on both substrates are ~175 nm and have(002) and(101) crystal orientations. The WS_2 film deposited on the ZnS coated Si substrate exhibits a stronger(002) orientation and a denser crystal structure than that deposited on the Si substrate. The WS_2 films on both substrates have low friction coefficients. 12Effects of crystal structure on the activity of MnO2 nanorods oxidase mimics显示文摘The crystal structures would directly affect the physical and chemical properties of the surface of the material,and would thus influence the catalytic activity of the material.α-MnO2,β-MnO2 andγ-MnO2 nanorods with the same morphology yet different crystal structures were prepared and tested as oxidase mimics using 3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)as the substrate.β-MnO2 that exhibited the highest activity had a catalytic constant of 83.75μmol·m^−2·s^−1,2.7 and 19.0 times of those ofα-MnO2 andγ-MnO2(30.91 and 4.41μmol·m^−2·s^−1),respectively.The characterization results showed that there were more surface hydroxyls as well as more Mn4+on the surface of theβ-MnO2 nanorods.The surface hydroxyls were conducive to the oxidation reaction,while Mn4+was conducive to the regeneration of surface hydroxyls.The synergistic effect of the two factors significantly improved the activity ofβ-MnO2 oxidase mimic.Usingβ-MnO2,aβ-MnO2-TMB-GSH system was established to detect the content of glutathione(GSH)rapidly and sensitively by colorimetry.This method had a wide detection range(0.11-45μM)and a low detection limit(0.1μM),and had been successfully applied to GSH quantification in human serum samples.Yanxia Meng Kunfeng Zhao Zhaokun Zhang Peng Gao Jing Yuan Ting Cai Qin Tong Gang Huang Dannong He 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:1
13Gd–La codoped TiO_2 nanoparticles as solar photocatalysts显示文摘Gd–La codoped Ti O2 nanoparticles with diameter of 10 nm were successfully synthesized via a sol–gel method. The photocatalytic activity of the Gd–La codoped Ti O2 nanoparticles evaluated by photodegrading methyl orange was significantly enhanced compared to that of undoped or Gd or La mono-doped Ti O2. Ti4+tmay substitute for La3+tand Gd3+tin the lattices of rare earth oxides to create abundant oxygen vacancies and surface defects for electron trapping and dye adsorption, accelerating the separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs and methyl orange photodegradation. It is believed that the formation of an excitation energy level below the conduction band of Ti O2 from the binding of electrons and oxygen vacancies decreases the excitation energy of Gd–La codoped Ti O2, resulting in versatile solar photocatalysts. 14Influence of crystal structure on friction coefficient of ZnO films prepared by atomic layer deposition显示文摘In this work, the influence of crystal structure on the friction coefficient of zinc oxide(ZnO) films was studied. The ZnO films were deposited on a Si(100) substrate using an atomic layer deposition process, and the crystal structure of the ZnO films was changed by adjusting the substrate temperature. The surface morphology and the crystal structure of the Zn O films were measured by an atomic force microscope and an X-ray diffractometer, respectively, and the friction coefficient of the ZnO films was measured by a ball-on-disk dry sliding tester. The results show that the ZnO films deposited at substrate temperatures below 200°C are dominated by(100),(002) and(101)-orientated crystals, while the ZnO films deposited at substrate temperatures above 250°C are dominated by(002)-orientated crystals, and that the crystal structure influences the friction coefficient of ZnO films greatly. The ZnO films with(002)-orientated crystals possess a larger friction coefficient than those with other orientated crystals. In order to verify this conclusion, we measured the friction behavior of the ZnO single crystals with different orientations. 16Nanowear pretreatment of AFM tips for reasonable friction force显示文摘In a nanoscale friction test,wear of an atomic force microscope(AFM)tip is inevitable.The shape of the worn tip influences the friction force measured.In order to eliminate the influence,nanowear pretreatment should be conducted for the AFM tip.In our study,pretreatment of three kinds of tips,i.e.Si3N4 tip,Si tip and silica colloidal tip,was performed using AFM.The results show that the shape of the tips changes with the increase of sliding distance,which leads to the variety of friction force.Whereas,when the tip gets blunt,the shape of tip tends to become stable and the friction force becomes stable correspondingly.To a certain degree,it reveals that the pretreated tips can be applied to study the friction force of samples.CHAI ZhiMin LIU YuHong WANG WeiQi LU XinChun HE DanNong 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,11:0

18Vacancy-enhanced Mo-N_(2) interaction in MoSe_(2) nanosheets enables efficient electrocatalytic NH_(3) synthesis显示文摘NH_(3) plays an essential role in human life since it is an important raw material for fertilizers,plastics and rubbers production.As an NH_(3) synthesis technology under ambient conditions,electrocatalytic N_(2) reduction reaction(NRR)has great potential to replace the energy-intensive Haber-Bosch process.The key of electrocatalytic NRR is the exploration of efficient catalysts.Transition metal Mo is promising since it exists naturally in nitrogenase due to the unique Mo-N_(2) interaction;particularly in the form of 2D material such as MoSe_(2),the surface area is maximized for more active sites.However,the NRR performance of MoSe_(2) is still unsatisfactory because Mo is only exposed at the semi-open edge,and the electronegative Se-mantled surface area remains inaccessible to N_(2).Herein,we propose a simple and effective strategy to create high-concentration Se vacancies in MoSe_(2) through heteroatom doping induced lattice strain,which effectively enhances the Mo-N_(2) interaction on the surface area.In result,high NH_(3) yield(3.04×10^(–10)mol s^(–1)cm^(–2))and Faraday efficiency(21.61%)are attained at–0.45 V vs.RHE in 0.1 mol/L Na_(2)SO_(4).Shuhong Wu Meng Zhang Shengmei Huang Lihai Cai Dannong He Yitao Liu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1:0
19Localized surface plasmon resonance improves transdermal photodynamic therapy of hypertrophic scars显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is an emerging therapeutic strategy for hypertrophic scars(HS),which is heavily dependent on reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation.However,the unsatisfactory delivery and excitation of 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA,a commercial photosensitizer in dermatology)result in an insufficient ROS generation,and thus limit the clinical application of PDT treating HS(HS-PDT).Consequently,sophisticated transdermal co-delivery nanoethosomes(named A/A-ES)with ALA and Au nanotriangles(AuNTs)in cores are prepared via an in-situ seed-mediated growth method,and then applied to improve HS-PDT through localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)-enhanced ROS generation.A/A-ES display a satisfactory performance in co-delivery in HS tissue with sufficient protoporphyrin IX production and LSPR effect in cytoplasm,which is beneficial for ALA excitation as well as ROS generation.In vitrolvivo studies reveal that A/A-ES significantly improve HS-PDT in promoting to fibroblast apoptosis and collagen remodeling through LSPR-enhanced ROS generation.Therefore,this study provides a feasible strategy that integrates transdermal delivery and LSPR to enable the beneficial effects of HS-PDT through boosting the delivery and excitation of ALA.Yunsheng Chen Zhixi Yu Xinxian Meng Hua Li Xiyang Sun Dannong He Yixin Zhang Zheng Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:0
