A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)显示文摘In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named '2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)' by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. This rapid advice guideline is suitable for the first frontline doctors and nurses, managers of hospitals and healthcare sections, community residents, public health persons, relevant researchers, and all person who are interested in the 2019-nCoV. | Ying-Hui Jin Lin Cai Zhen-Shun Cheng Hong Cheng Tong Deng Yi-Pin Fan Cheng Fang Di Huang Lu-Qi Huang Qiao Huang Yong Han Bo Hu Fen Hu Bing-Hui Li Yi-Rong Li Ke Liang Li-Kai Lin Li-Sha Luo Jing Ma Lin-Lu Ma Zhi-Yong Peng Yun-Bao Pan Zhen-Yu Pan Xue-Qun Ren Hui-Min Sun Ying Wang Yun-Yun Wang Hong Weng Chao-Jie Wei Dong-Fang Wu Jian Xia Yong Xiong Hai-Bo Xu Xiao-Mei Yao Yu-Feng Yuan Tai-Sheng Ye Xiao-Chun Zhang Ying-Wen Zhang Yin-Gao Zhang Hua-Min Zhang Yan Zhao Ming-Juan Zhao Hao Zi Xian-Tao Zeng Yong-Yan Wang Xing-Huan Wang 无 | 2020 | Military Medical Research2020,7,1: | 161
Cold-chain food contamination as the possible origin of COVID-19 resurgence in Beijing显示文摘COVID-19,caused by SARS-CoV-2[1,2],has been contained in China through stringent non-pharmaceutical interventions.Border control and quarantine have effectively prevented the virus from being spread by infected travellers, but the risk of resurgence caused by other routes of introduction and transmission remains unclear, and current strategies to prevent resurgence could be flawed.Since July,SARS-CoV-2 RNA contaminations in frozen food imported from countries with ongoing epidemics have been reported in nine provinces in China[3,4].However,there is no robust evidence of COVID-19 outbreaks initiated by environmentto-human transmission. Here we add to evidence of such transmission by investigating the recent COVID-19 resurgence in Beijing. | Xinghuo Pang Lili Ren Shuangsheng Wu Wentai Ma Jian Yang Lin Di Jie Li Yan Xiao Lu Kang Shichang Du Jing Du Jing Wang Gang Li Shuguang Zhai Lijuan Chen Wenxiong Zhou Shengjie Lai Lei Gao Yang Pan Quanyi Wang Mingkun Li Jianbin Wang Yanyi Huang Jianwei Wang COVID-19 Field Response Group COVID-19 Laboratory Testing Group | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,12: | 51

Effect of bax,bcl-2 and bcl-xL on regulating apoptosis in tissues of normal liver and hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To investigate the expression of bax, bcl-2 and bcl-xL mRNA in the tissues of normal liver and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and analyze the relationship between the expression of bax, bcl-2 and bcl-xL mRNA and clinical parameters of HCC patients.METHODS: The expression of bax, bcl-2 and bcl-xL mRNA of normal liver and HCC was measured by Northern blot. Statistical analyses were made by t test and correlation analysis.RESULTS: A very low mRNA level was indicated at bax,bcl-2 and bcl-xL in the HCC tissues in contrast to the tissues of normal liver by Northern blot analysis. The analyses of mRNA level revealed that HCC tissues exhibited a mean 7.6-fold decrease in bax, 4.2-fold in bcl-2 and 3.5-fold in bcl-xL in comparison with normal control tissues, respectively. Positive correlation was found between bax and bcl-xL (r=0.7061,P<0.01). There was no significance between the mRNA expression of these three genes and age, gender, tumor differentiation and tumor stage of HCC patients. CONCLUSION: The results are consistent with the fact that apoptosis rarely occurs in normal livers but increases in HCC, indicating that bcl-2 and bcl-xL may play a very important role in regulating the apoptosis of normal liver and HCC. | Xiao-Zhong Guo Xiao-Dong Shao Min-Pei Liu Jian-Hua Xu Li-Nan Ren Jia-Jun Zhao Hong-Yu Li Di Wang,Department of Gastroenterology,General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region,Shenyang 110016,Liaoning Province,China | 2002 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2002,8,6: | 34
Paleogene Tectonic Evolution Controls on Sequence Stratigraphic Patterns in the Central Part of Deepwater Area of Qiongdongnan Basin, Northern South China Sea显示文摘In active rift basins, tectonism is extremely important for sequence stratigraphic patterns, affecting both the sequence architecture and internal makeup. Sequence stratigraphic framework of a Paleogene rift succession in Qiongdongnan Basin, northern South China Sea, was built using seismic profiles, complemented by well logs and cores. One first-order and three second-order sequences were identified on the basis of basin-scale unconformities, and seven third-order sequences are defined by unconformities along the basin margins and correlative conformities within the central basin. Through unconformity analysis and backstripping procedure, the Paleogene synrift tectonic evolution of deepwater area of Qiongdongnan Basin was proved to be episodic, which can be divided into rifting stage-I, rifting stage-II and rifting stage-III. Episodic rifting resulted in the formation of various types of structural slope break belts, which controlled different architectures and internal makeup of sequences. This study enhances the understanding of the control of tectonic evolution on sequence stratigraphic patterns and establishes relevant patterns in a typical rift basin, and further proposes the favorable sandstone reservoirs developing in different sequence stratigraphic patterns, which will be pretty helpful for subtle pool exploration in deepwater area of petroliferous basins. | Guangzeng Song Hua Wang Huajun Gan Zhipeng Sun Xiaolong Liu Meng Xu Jinfeng Ren Ming Sun Di Sun | 2014 | Journal of Earth Science2014,25,2: | 16

SARS-Coronavirus-2 Nsp13 Possesses NTPase and RNA Helicase Activities That Can Be Inhibited by Bismuth Salts显示文摘The ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a global public health emergency.SARScoronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2),the causative pathogen of COVID-19,is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the family Coronaviridae. For RNA viruses,virus-encoded RNA helicases have long been recognized to play pivotal roles during viral life cycles by facilitating the correct folding and replication of viral RNAs.Here, our studies show that SARS-CoV-2-encoded nonstructural protein 13(nsp13)possesses the nucleoside triphosphate hydrolase(NTPase)and RNA helicase activities that can hydrolyze all types of NTPs and unwind RNA helices dependently of the presence of NTP,and further characterize the biochemical characteristics of these two enzymatic activities associated with SARS-CoV-2 nsp13.Moreover,we found that some bismuth salts could effectively inhibit both the NTPase and RNA helicase activities of SARS-CoV-2 nsp13 in a dose-dependent manner. Thus, our findings demonstrate the NTPase and helicase activities of SARS-CoV-2 nsp13,which may play an important role in SARS-CoV-2 replication and serve as a target for antivirals. | Ting Shu Muhan Huang Di Wu Yujie Ren Xueyi Zhang Yang Han Jingfang Mu Ruibing Wang Yang Qiu Ding-Yu Zhang Xi Zhou | 2020 | Virologica Sinica2020,35,3: | 11

Inhibition of PI3K/Akt/m TOR signaling pathway enhances the sensitivity of the SKOV3/DDP ovarian cancer cell line to cisplatin in vitro显示文摘The activation of the PI3K/AKT/m TOR pathway plays a key role in ovarian cancer tumorigenesis, progression and chemotherapy resistance. This study aimed to explore the possible mechanism that PI-103, a dual inhibitor of phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase and m TOR, enhances the sensitivity of SKOV3/DDP ovarian cancer cell line to cisplatin chemotherapy. The results showed that PI-103 could significantly increase the sensitivity of SKVO3/DDP cells to cisplatin through inhibiting the activation of PI3K/Akt/m TOR signaling pathway and inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. | Yunlang Cai Xiaoqiang Tan Jun Liu Yang Shen Di Wu Mulan Ren Peilin Huang Dandan Yu | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2014,26,5: | 11
The ORF3a protein of SARS-CoV-2 induces apoptosis in cells显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused the ongoing pandemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019.SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the genus Betacoronavirus of the Coronaviridae family, which includes SARS-CoV and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus.1,2 Coronavirus-encoded accessory proteins play critical roles in virus–host interactions and the modulation of host immune responses, thereby contributing to coronaviral pathogenicity via different strategies.3 However, the functions of SARS-CoV-2-encoded accessory proteins are not well understood.Apoptosis is a predominant type of programmed cell death, and has been recognized as an important host antiviral defense mechanism that controls viral infection and regulates the inflammatory response.4,5 Previous studies have reported that the SARS-CoV-encoded accessory protein ORF3a can induce apoptosis in cells,6,7 leading to the question of whether SARS-CoV-2 ORF3a also has pro-apoptotic activity. Here,we investigated the potential apoptosis-inducing activity of SARS-CoV-2 ORF3a in different cell lines and compared the pro-apoptotic activities of SARS-CoV-2 ORF3a with those of SARS-CoV ORF3a using the same system. | Yujie Ren Ting Shu Di Wu Jingfang Mu Chong Wang Muhan Huang Yang Han Xue-Yi Zhang Wei Zhou Yang Qiu Xi Zhou | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,8: | 11
Biodegradation of phenol and m-cresol by mutated Candida tropicalis显示文摘The phenol and m-cresol biodegradations were studied using the mutant strain CTM 2 obtained by the He-Ne laser irradiation on wild-type Candida tropicalis. The results showed that C.tropicalis exhibited the increased capacity of phenolic compounds degradation after laser irradiation. It could degrade 2600 mg/L phenol and 300 mg/L m-cresol by 5% inoculum concentration, respectively. In the dual-substrate biodegradation system,0-500 mg/L phenol could accelerate m-cresol biodegradation, and 300 mg/L m-cresol could be completely utilized within 46 hr at the presence of 350 mg/L phenol.Besides, the maximum biodegradation of m-cresol could reach 350 mg/L with 80 mg/L phenol within 61 hr.Obviously, phenol,as a growth substrate, could promote CTM 2 to degrade m-cresol,and was always preferentially utilized as carbon source.Comparatively,low-concentration m-cresol could result in a great inhibition on phenol degradation. In addition, the kinetic behaviors of cell growth and substrate biodegradation were described by kinetic model proposed in our laboratory. | Yan Jiang Xun Cai Di Wu Nanqi Ren | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,4: | 10
Plasma metabolomic and lipidomic alterations associated with COVID-19显示文摘The pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a global public health crisis. The symptoms of COVID-19 range from mild to severe, but the physiological changes associated with COVID-19 are barely understood. In this study,we performed targeted metabolomic and lipidomic analyses of plasma from a cohort of patients with COVID-19 who had experienced different symptoms. We found that metabolite and lipid alterations exhibit apparent correlation with the course of disease in these patients, indicating that the development of COVID-19 affected their whole-body metabolism. In particular, malic acid of the TCA cycle and carbamoyl phosphate of the urea cycle result in altered energy metabolism and hepatic dysfunction, respectively. It should be noted that carbamoyl phosphate is profoundly down-regulated in patients who died compared with patients with mild symptoms. And,more importantly, guanosine monophosphate(GMP),which is mediated not only by GMP synthase but also by CD39 and CD73,is significantly changed between healthy subjects and patients with COVID-19,as well as between the mild and fatal cases. In addition, dyslipidemia was observed in patients with COVID-19.Overall,the disturbed metabolic patterns have been found to align with the progress and severity of COVID-19.This work provides valuable knowledge about plasma biomarkers associated with COVID-19 and potential therapeutic targets,as well as an important resource for further studies of the pathogenesis of COVID-19. | Di Wu Ting Shu Xiaobo Yang Jian-Xin Song Mingliang Zhang Chengye Yao Wen Liu Muhan Huang Yuan Yu Qingyu Yang Tingju Zhu Jiqian Xu Jingfang Mu Yaxin Wang Hong Wang Tang Tang Yujie Ren Yongran Wu Shu-Hai Lin Yang Qiu Ding-Yu Zhang You Shang Xi Zhou | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,7: | 9
Neurovascular unit in diabetic retinopathy:pathophysiological roles and potential therapeutical targets显示文摘Diabetic retinopathy(DR),one of the common complications of diabetes,is the leading cause of visual loss in working-age individuals in many industrialized countries. It has been traditionally regarded as a purely microvascular disease in the retina. However,an increasing number of studies have shown that DR is a complex neurovascular disorder that affects not only vascular structure but also neural tissue of the retina.Deterioration of neural retina could precede microvascular abnormalities in the DR,leading to microvascular changes.Furthermore, disruption of interactions among neurons, vascular cells, glia and local immune cells, which collectively form the neurovascular unit,is considered to be associated with the progression of DR early on in the disease. Therefore,it makes sense to develop new therapeutic strategies to prevent or reverse retinal neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation and impaired cell-cell interactions of the neurovascular unit in early stage DR.Here,we present current perspectives on the pathophysiology of DR as a neurovascular disease, especially at the early stage.Potential novel treatments for preventing or reversing neurovascular injuries in DR are discussed as well. | Shen Nian Amy C.Y.Lo Yajing Mi Kai Ren Di Yang | 2021 | Eye and Vision2021,8,1: | 9
Improvement of the matrix and the interface quality of a Cu/Al composite by the MARB process显示文摘The matrix accumulative roll bonding technology (MARB) can improve the matrix performance of metal com- posite and strengthen the bonding quality of the interface. In this research, for the first time, the technology of MARB was proposed. A sound Cu/Al bonding composite was obtained using the MARB process and the bonding characteristic of the interface was studied using scanning electricity microscope (SEM) and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The result indicated that accumulation cycles and diffusion annealing temperature were the most important factors for fabricating a Cu/Al composite material. The substrate aluminum was strengthened by MARB, and a high quality Cu/Al composite with sound interface was obtained as well. | XU Rongchang TANG Di REN Xueping WANG Xiaohong WEN Yonghong | 2007 | Rare Metals2007,26,3: | 9
Ultrafine particle emission characteristics of diesel engine by on-board and test bench measurement显示文摘This study investigated the emission characteristics of ultrafine particles based on test bench and on-board measurements. The bench test results showed the ultrafine particle number concentration of the diesel engine to be in the range of (0.56-8.35)×10 8cm-3. The on-board measurement results illustrated that the ultrafine particles were strongly correlated with changes in real-world driving cycles. The particle number concentration was down to 2.0×106cm-3 and 2.7×107cm-3 under decelerating and idling operations and as high as 5.0×108cm-3 under accelerating operation. It was also indicated that the particle number measured by the two methods increased with the growth of engine load at each engine speed in both cases. The particle number presented a 'U' shaped distribution with changing speed at high engine load conditions, which implies that the particle number will reach its lowest level at medium engine speeds. The particle sizes of both measurements showed single mode distributions. The peak of particle size was located at about 50-80nm in the accumulation mode particle range. Nucleation mode particles will significantly increase at low engine load operations like idling and decelerating caused by the high concentration of unburned organic compounds. | Cheng Huang Diming Lou Zhiyuan Hu Piqiang Tai Di Yao Wei Hu Peng Li Jin Ren Changhong Chen | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,11: | 8
