12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 3Rational design of thermoelastic damping in microresonators with phase-lagging heat conduction law显示文摘The design of thermoelastic damping(TED)affected by the phase-lagging non-Fourier heat conduction effects becomes significant but challenging for enlarging the quality factor of widely-used microresonators operating in extreme situations,including ultra-high excitation frequency and ultra-low working temperature.However,there does not exist a rational method for designing the TED in the framework of non-Fourier heat conduction law.This work,therefore,proposes a design framework to achieve low thermoelastic dissipation of microresonators governed by the phase-lagging heat conduction law.The equation of motion and the heat conduction equation for phase-lagging TED microresonators are derived first,and then the non-Fourier TED design problem is proposed.A topology optimization-based rational design method is used to resolve the design problem.What is more,a two-dimensional(2D)plain-strain-based finite element method(FEM)is developed as a solver for the topology optimization process.Based on the suggested rational design technique,numerical instances with various phase lags are investigated.The results show that the proposed design method can remarkably reduce the dissipation of microresonators by tailoring their substructures.Yu FU Li LI Hongfang CHEN Xuelin WANG Ling LING Yujin HU 2022Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,11:0
4Carbon nitride with encapsulated nickel for semi-hydrogenation of acetylene: pyridinic nitrogen is responsible for hydrogen dissociative adsorption显示文摘A new mechanism of catalyst has been demonstrated in this article. With the interaction between carbon nitride(CN) and encapsulated nickel, the CN in the catalyst has been endowed with new active sites for the adsorption and activation of hydrogen while nickel itself is physically isolated from the contact with reactive molecules. For the selective hydrogenation of acetylene in large amount of ethylene, the catalyst shows excellent ethylene selectivity than the nickel catalyst itself, which is almost totally unselective. Meanwhile, the CN itself is inactive for the reaction. The results of characterization demonstrate that pyridinic nitrogen doped in the carbon matrix should be the active sites for hydrogen dissociative adsorption. The theoretical calculations further confirm the results and provide with the detail in the electron transfer between nickel and CN in the catalyst. 5Fuzheng Huayu preparation(扶正化瘀胶囊/片)combined with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate on hepatitis B:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To systematically evaluate the effectiveness of Fuzheng Huayu preparation(扶正化瘀胶囊/片,FZHY)plus tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)on hepatitis B.METHODS:Numerous databases—PubM ed,Embase,Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,WanFang Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,and China Biological Medicine Database—were searched to identify the randomized controlled trials published from the inception of the database to November 2021.Two researchers independently conducted literature screening,data extraction,and bias risk assessment.Rev Man 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.RESULTS:Eight studies involving 990 patients met the inclusion criteria in the current Meta-analysis.Levels of alanine transaminase,aspartate aminotransferase,total bilirubin,hyaluronic acid,typeⅢprocollagen,laminin,and type IV collagen after combination therapy were significantly lower than those after TDF therapy alone.However,albumin levels did not differ significantly between the two regimens.Subgroup analysis based on disease progression suggested that the combination therapy improved albumin levels in patients with chronic hepatitis B but not in patients with hepatitis B-related cirrhosis.Moreover,subgroup analysis based on treatment duration suggested that the albumin levels were increased and the typeⅢprocollagen levels were decreased with the>24-week combination therapy but not with the≤24-week combination therapy.CONCLUSIONS:A combination regimen of TDF and FZHY is more effective in treating hepatitis B than TDF alone.The combination therapy can effectively alleviate hepatic fibrosis and improve liver function.However,more standardized,highquality studies with larger sample sizes are warranted to validate the study results.ZHANG Junli HE Ying ZHANG Xia FU Hongfang HU Xiaoyu 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,2:0
6Probing Patient Messages Enhanced by Natural Language Processing:A Top-Down Message Corpus Analysis显示文摘Background.Patients increasingly use asynchronous communication platforms to converse with care teams.Natural language processing(NLP)to classify content and automate triage of these messages has great potential to enhance clinical efficiency.We characterize the contents of a corpus of portal messages generated by patients using NLP methods.We aim to demonstrate descriptive analyses of patient text that can contribute to the development of future sophisticated NLP applications.Methods.We collected approximately 3,000 portal messages from the cardiology,dermatology,and gastroenterology departments at Mayo Clinic.After labeling these messages as either Active Symptom,Logistical,Prescription,or Update,we used NER(named entity recognition)to identify medical concepts based on the UMLS library.We hierarchically analyzed the distribution of these messages in terms of departments,message types,medical concepts,and keywords therewithin.Results.Active Symptom and Logistical content types comprised approximately 67%of the message cohort.The“Findings”medical concept had the largest number of keywords across all groupings of content types and departments.“Anatomical Sites”and“Disorders”keywords were more prevalent in Active Symptom messages,while“Drugs”keywords were most prevalent in Prescription messages.Logistical messages tended to have the lower proportions of“Anatomical Sites,”,“Disorders,”,“Drugs,”,and“Findings”keywords when compared to other message content types.Conclusions.This descriptive corpus analysis sheds light on the content and foci of portal messages.The insight into the content and differences among message themes can inform the development of more robust NLP models.George Mastorakos Aditya Khurana Ming Huang Sunyang Fu Ahmad PTafti Jungwei Fan Hongfang Liu 2021Health Data Science2021,,1:0
7Distinct structural characteristics define a new subfamily of Mycoplasma ferritin显示文摘Ferritins can generally be divided into four subfamilies based on their structural characteristics,namely,the classic ferritins(Ftns),bacterioferritins(Bfrs),DNA-binding proteins from starved cells(Dps’),and encapsulated ferritins(Enc Ftns).However,the ferritin from Mycoplasma penetrans(Mpef)possesses a particular ferroxidase center with an extreme low activity and exhibits unusual characteristics,indicating that it could be a member of a quite different subfamily of ferritins.Hereby,the crystal structure of the ferritin from Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uurf)is presented,Mpef and Uurf have very similar properties,though they display very low sequence similarity.Thus,ferritins from Mycoplasma with these unique properties do not belong to any known subfamily,but they should rather be placed in a novel ferritin subfamily,which we term Mycoplasma Ferritin(Mfr).Wenming Wang Xiaojia Liu Yajie Wang Yuan Wang Dan Fu Hongfang Xi Yi Zhao Hongfei Wang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,11:0
