1A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)显示文摘In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named '2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)' by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. 2Corrosion resistance of in-situ growth of nano-sized Mg(OH)2 on micro-arc oxidized magnesium alloy AZ31—Influence of EDTA显示文摘One of the major obstacles for the clinical use of biodegradable magnesium(Mg)-based materials is their high corrosion rate. Micro-arc oxidation(MAO) coatings on Mg alloys provide mild corrosion protection owing to their porous structure. Hence, in this study a dense Mg(OH)2 film was fabricated on MAO-coated Mg alloy AZ31 in an alkaline electrolyte containing ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid disodium(EDTA-2 Na) to reinforce the protection. Surface morphology, chemical composition and growth process of the MAO/Mg(OH)2 hybrid coating were examined using field-emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer. Corrosion resistance of the coatings was evaluated via potentiodynamic polarization curves and hydrogen evolution tests. Results manifested that the Mg(OH)2 coating possesses a porous nano-sized structure and completely seals the micro-pores and micro-cracks of the MAO coating.The intermetallic compound of AlMn phase in the substrate plays a key role in the growth of Mg(OH)2 film. The current density of Mg(OH)2-MAO composite coating decreases three orders of magnitude in comparison with that of bare substrate, indicating excellent corrosion resistance. 3Alleviation by abscisic acid of Al toxicity in rice bean is not associated with citrate efflux but depends on ABI5-mediated signal transduction pathways显示文摘Under conditions of aluminum(Al) toxicity,which severely inhibits root growth in acidic soils, plants rapidly alter their gene expression to optimize physiological fitness for survival. Abscisic acid(ABA) has been suggested as a mediator between Al stress and gene expression, but the underlying mechanisms remain largely unknown. Here,we investigated ABA-mediated Al-stress responses, using integrated physiological and molecular biology approaches.We demonstrate that Al stress caused ABA accumulation in the root apex of rice bean(Vigna umbellata [Thunb.] Ohwi &Ohashi), which positively regulated Al tolerance. However,this was not associated with known Al-tolerance mechanisms. Transcriptomic analysis revealed that nearly one-third of the responsive genes were shared between the Al-stress and ABA treatments. We further identified a transcription factor, ABI5, as being positively involved in Al tolerance. Arabidopsis abi5 mutants displayed increased sensitivity to Al, which was not related to the regulation of AtALMT1 and AtMATE expression. Functional categorization of ABI5-mediated genes revealed the importance of cell wall modification and osmoregulation in Al tolerance, a finding supported by osmotic stress treatment on Al tolerance. 5Association of Overlapped and Un-overlapped Comorbidities with COVID-19 Severity and Treatment Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study from Nine Provinces in China显示文摘Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains unclear.Methods A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in China. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of COVID-19.Results Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two weeks.Conclusion Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. 8Variability of microphysical characteristics in the “21·7” Henan extremely heavy rainfall event显示文摘In this study, significant rainfall microphysical variability is revealed for the extremely heavy rainfall event over Henan Province in July 2021(the “21·7” Henan EHR event) using a dense network of disdrometers and two polarimetric radars.The broad distributions of specific drop size distribution(DSD) parameters are identified in heavy rainfall from the disdrometer observations, indicating obvious microphysical variability on the surface. A K-means clustering algorithm is adopted to objectively classify the disdrometer datasets into separate groups, and distinct DSD characteristics are found among these heavy rainfall groups. Combined with the supporting microphysical structures obtained through radar observations, comprehensive microphysical features of the DSD groups are derived. An extreme rainfall group is dominantly formed in the deep convection over the plain regions, where the high number of concentrations and large mean sizes of surface raindrops are underpinned by both active ice-phase processes and efficient warm-rain collision-coalescence processes in the vertical direction. Convection located near orographic regions is characterized by restricted ice-phase processes and high coalescence efficiency of liquid hydrometeors, causing the dominant DSD group to comprise negligible large raindrops. 9Hollow Carbon Microspheres/MnO_2 Nanosheets Composites:Hydrothermal Synthesis and Electrochemical Behaviors显示文摘This article reported the electrochemical behaviors of a novel hollow carbon microspheres/manganese dioxide nanosheets(micro-HC/nano-MnO2) composite prepared by an in situ self-limiting deposition method under hydrothermal condition. The results of scanning electron microscopy reveal that MnO2 nanosheets homogeneously grow onto the surface of micro-HC to form a loose-packed microstructure. The quantity of MnO2 required in the electrode layer has thereby been reduced significantly, and higher specific capacitances have been achieved. 11A mutated CRYGD associated with congenital coralliform cataracts in two Chinese pedigrees显示文摘AIM:To investigate the causal gene mutation and clinical characteristics for two Chinese families with autosomal dominant congenital coralliform cataract.METHODS:Two Chinese pedigrees with congenital cataract were investigated.Routine ophthalmic examinations were performed on all patients and non-affected family members.Peripheral blood samples were collected,and the genomic DNAs were extracted.The coding regions of proband’s DNAs were analyzed with cataract gene panel.The identified mutation was amplified by polymerase chain reaction,and automated sequencing was performed in other members of two families to verify whether the mutated gene was co-segregated with the disease.RESULTS:Congenital coralliform cataract was inherited in an autosomal dominant mode in both pedigrees.For each family,more than half of the family members were affected.All patients presented with severe visual impairment after birth as a result of bilateral symmetric coralliform lens opacification.An exact the same defect in the same gene,a heterozygous mutation of c.70 C>A(p.P24 T)in exon 2 of γ Dcrystallin gene,was detected in both probands from each family.Sanger sequencing analysis demonstrated that the mutated CRYGD was co-segregated in these two families.CONCLUSION:A c.70 C>A(p.P24 T)variant in CRYGD gene was reconfirmed to be the causal gene in two Chinese pedigrees.It is known that mutated CRYGD caused most of the congenital coralliform cataracts,suggesting that the CRYGD gene is associated with coralliform congenital cataract.Su-Ping Cai Lan Lu Xi-Zhen Wang Yun Wang Fen He Ning Fan Jing-Ning Weng Jun-Hua Zhang Xu-Yang Liu 2021International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2021,14,6:2
12A bird nest-like manganese dioxide and its application as electrode in supercapacitors显示文摘A novel bird nest-like nanostructured MnO2(BNNS-MnO2) was prepared by a facile and cost-effective strategy. Their structures and morphologies were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and powder X-ray diffraction. Capacitive behaviors were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge. The obtained nano-MnO2 possesses a well designed loose-assembled hierarchical nanoarchitecture with an appropriate crystallinity which gives rise to excellent performances as an electrode material for supercapacitors. A maximum specific capacitance of 917 F/g has been obtained at a current density of 5 mA/cm2 in 6 mol/L KOH aqueous solution, and a specific capacitance of 210 F/g has been maintained for 500 cycles. 13Genetic Diversity and Drug Susceptibility of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Isolates in a Remote Mountain Area of China显示文摘Objective We determined the genetic diversity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB) in a remote mountainous area of southwest China and evaluated the resolving ability of single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) genotyping combined with variable number tandem repeat(VNTR) genotyping for Beijing family strains in association with drug resistance status.Methods Three hundred thirty-one MTB strains were isolated from patients living in mountainous regions of southwest China,and 8-loci SNP,VNTR-15 genotyping assays,and drug susceptibility testing of 9 drugs were performed.Results A total of 183 [55.29%(183/331)] strains were classified into the Beijing family.Of the 183 strains,111(60.66%) were defined as modern Beijing strains.The most predominant modern Beijing sub-lineage and ancient Beijing sub-lineage were Bmyc10 [39.34%(72/183)] and Bmyc25 [20.77%(38/183)],respectively.Of the isolates,19.64%(65/331) were resistant to at least 1 of the 9 anti-TB drugs and 17 [4.98%(17/331)] MTB isolates were multi-drug resistant tuberculosis(MDR-TB).Two hundred sixty-one isolates showed a clustering rate of 14.18%(37/261) and a discriminatory index of 0.9990.The Beijing lineage exhibited a significantly higher prevalence of MDR-TB,as well as resistance to isoniazid(INH),rifampin(RIF),and para-aminosalicylic acid(PAS) when analyzed independently(P = 0.005,P = 0.017,P = 0.014,and P = 0.006 respectively).The Beijing lineage was not associated with genetic clustering or resistance to any drug.In addition,genetic clustering was not associated with drug resistance.Conclusion MTB strains demonstrate high genetic diversity in remote mountainous areas of southwest China.Beijing strains,especially modern Beijing strains,are predominant in remote mountainous area of China.The combination of 8-loci SNPs and VNTR-15 genotyping is a useful tool to study the molecular epidemiology of MTB strains in this area.ma ai jing wang sheng fen fan jia le zhao bing he guang xue zhao yan lin 2018Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2018,31,5:2
14Directionality based fast fractional pel motion estimation for H.264显示文摘Motion estimation is an important and intensive task in video coding applications.Since the complexity of integer pixel search has been greatly reduced by the numerous fast ME algorithm,the computation overhead required by fractional pixel ME has become relatively significant.To reduce the complexity of the fractional pixel ME algorithm,a directionality-based fractional pixel ME algorithm is proposed.The proposed algorithm efficiently explores the neighborhood positions which with high probability to be the best matching around the minimum one and skips over other unlikely ones.Thus,the proposed algorithm can complete the search by examining only 3 points on appropriate condition instead of 17 search points in the search algorithm of reference software.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm successfully optimizes the fractional-pixel motion search on both half and quarter-pixel accuracy and improves the processing speed with low PSNR penalty.Zhang Wei Fan Fen Wang Xiaoyang Zhu Weile 2009Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,3:2
15Bibliometrics and visual analysis for clinical research on intervention of traditional Chinese medicine nursing technology on rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Objective:The objective of this study is to explore the current situation,clinical research hot spots,and trends of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing technology in rheumatoid arthritis(RA),to draw a panorama of clinical research,to provide the basis and clues for subsequent high-level evidence integration and further in-depth research.Materials and Methods:Seven databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chinese Scientific Journal Database(VIP),Wanfang Database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(Sino-Med),PubMed,Embase,and the Cochrane Library were searched.The bibliometric method and visualization software CiteSpace were used to conduct a multi-dimensional analysis of the included literature.Results:A total of 805 pieces of literature were included(of them,one was written in German and four in English),and the number of published literature showed an increasing trend year by year.There were only 30(3.73%)pieces of literature published in nursing journals.The hot spots of the co-occurrence map were concentrated in:(1)the nursing of fumigation in RA;(2)the efficacy evaluation of TCM nursing technology on pain,joint malformation,and joint dysfunction caused by RA.The included literature themes focused on five TCM technologies:fumigation,moxibustion,acupoint patching,acupoint injection,and Chinese herbal soaking.The beginning year and strength in TCM fumigation were 2012 and 5.2,and those in moxibustion were 2011 and 3.38.Conclusion:The related studies are on the rise.It has entered the field of international readers with clear research hot spots.However,there are still shortcomings such as little literature published in Chinese nursing core journals,few non-Chinese-related documents,and a lack of international exchanges and cooperation.The current research hot spots in this field are TCM fumigation,and the cutting-edge trend of future research may be fumigation and moxibustion technology.It is suggested that further research can focus on evidence integration and original research on the self-optimization of these two techniques.Ling TANG Jianni QU Hong GUO Mei WANG Nini XU Xiaoyan BAI Xueyan FAN Zhixuan XU Yihui TIAN Fen ZHOU 2022Journal of Integrative Nursing2022,4,1:2

17Characteristics of Viral Shedding in Respiratory Samples and Specific Antibodies Production in 564 COVID-19 Patients显示文摘Positive nucleic acid(NA)results have been found in recovered and discharged COVID-19 patients,but the proportion is unclear.This study was designed to analyze the recurrent positive rate of NA results after consecutively negative results,and the relationship between the specific antibody production and positive NA rate.According to Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology guidelines,data of inpatients in Sino-French New City Branch of Tongji Hospital between Jan.28 and Mar.6,2020 were collected.A total of 564 COVID-19 patients over 14 years old who received the examinations of NA and antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 were included.Days of viral shedding and specific antibodies were recorded and assessed.Among NA tests in respiratory samples(throat swabs,nasopharyngeal swabs,sputum and flushing fluid in alveoli),the patients with all-negative NA results accounted for 17.20%,those with single-positive results for 46.63%,and those with multiple-positive results for 36.17%respectively.Besides,the recurrent positive NA results after consecutively negative results appeared in 66 patients(11.70%).For multiple-positive patients,median viral shedding duration was 20 days(range:1 to 57 days).Of the 205 patients who received 2 or more antibody tests,141(68.78%)had decreased IgG and IgM concentrations.IgM decreased to normal range in 24 patients,with a median of 44 days from symptom onset.Viral shedding duration was not significantly correlated with gender,age,disease severity,changes in pulmonary imaging,and antibody concentration.It is concluded that antibody level and antibody change had no significant correlation with the positive rate of NA tests and the conversion rate after continuous negative NA tests.In order to reduce the recurrent positive proportion after discharge,3 or more consecutive negative NA test results with test interval more than 24 h every time are suggested for the discharge or release from quarantine.Jing GONG Hui DONG Ding-kun WANG Fu-er LU Zhao-yi HUANG Ke FANG Wen-ya HUANG Fen YUAN Xing CHEN Qing-song XIA Le-yi MA Fan WU Hao SU Min-min GONG Yue-heng TANG Ke-xin NIE Zhi WANG Sheng-hao TU Ming-min ZHANG Jing-bin LI 2021Current Medical Science2021,41,1:1

20The damage risk evaluation of Aphis gossypii on wheat by host shift and fitness comparison in wheat and cotton显示文摘Aphids are considered as one of the key pests for wheat production worldwide. Major aphid species that infest wheat in China include Sitobion avenae, Rhopalosiphum padi, Schizaphis graminum and Metopolophium dirhodum. However, during our wheat field survey in Wenshang County of Shangdong Province, China, we observed that Aphis gossypii can feed on wheat. The damage risk of A. gossypii on wheat was assessed using host shift method. A population of A. gossypii collected from a wheat field in 2015 and another population reared on cotton under laboratory conditions for a decade without exposure to insecticides were used in the study. The results of host shift demonstrated that the A. gossypii colony from wheat has not yet developed wheat specialization. Moreover, the assessment of A. gossypii fitness on wheat and cotton showed that fecundity and net reproductive rate of A. gossypii population fed on wheat was significantly higher comparing to the population fed on cotton, whether the initial host of A. gossypii population was wheat or cotton. This study raises a warning that the cotton aphid has potential to establish well on wheat and it may cause significant effects under specific circumstances.
