1Phylogenetic Analysis of the Dengue Virus Strains Causing the 2019 Dengue Fever Outbreak in Hainan,China显示文摘Dengue virus is an arthropod-borne pathogen that is transmitted to humans primarily by Aedes spp.mosquitos,causing the acute infectious disease,dengue fever(DF).Until 2019,no dengue outbreak had been reported in Hainan Province for over 20 years.However,in early September of 2019,an increasing number of infected cases appeared and the DF outbreak lasted for over one month in Haikou City,Hainan Province.In our study,we collected 97 plasma samples from DF patients at three hospitals,as well as 1585 mosquito larvae samples from puddles in different areas of Haikou.There were 49(50.5%)plasma samples found to be strongly positive and 9(9.3%)plasma samples were weakly positive against the NS1 antigen.We discovered DENV both in the patient's plasma samples and mosquito larvae samples,and isolated the virus from C6/36 cells inoculated with the acute phase serum of patients.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the new strains were the most closely related to the epidemic strain in the southern regions of China,belonging to lineageⅣ,genotypeⅠ,DENV-1.Compared to the seven closest strains from neighboring countries and provinces,a total of 18 amino acid mutations occurred in the coding sequences(CDS)of the new isolated strain,DENV1 HMU-HKU-2.Our data shows that dengue virus is re-emerged in Hainan,and pose new threats for public health.Thus regular molecular epidemiological surveillance is necessary for control and prevention of DENV transmission.Jiang Du Liyuan Zhang Xiaoyuan Hu Ruoyan Peng Gaoyu Wang Yi Huang Wenqi Wang Kunliang Wu Qiang Wang Haoxiang Su Fan Yang Yun Zhang Chuanning Tang Xiuji Cui Lina Niu Gang Lu Meifang Xiao Yongguo Du Feifei Yin 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,4:2
2Pomegranate-inspired porous SnSe/ZnSe@C anode:A stress-buffer nanostructure for fast and ultrastable sodium-ion storage显示文摘Tin selenide(SnSe)is considered as a potential anode for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)owing to its high theoretical specific capacity.Unfortunately,it suffers from drastic volume expansion/contraction during sodium ions insertion/extraction,resulting in poor cycling stability.Herein,a pomegranate-inspired porous carbon shell wrapped heterogeneous SnSe/ZnSe composite(SnSe/ZnSe@C)is exquisitely designed and fabricated through electrostatic spraying followed by high-temperature selenization.The polyacrylonitrile-derived carbon shell acts as an adhesive to link the porous cubic SnSe/ZnSe and form highly interconnected microcircuits to improve the electron/ion transfer efficiency and inhibit the bulk volume change of internal metallic selenide nanoparticles and polyselenides dissolution during repeated cycling.Moreover,the abundant heterostructure interface of SnSe/ZnSe further significantly accelerates the electrons/ions transport.As a result,the as-prepared SnSe/ZnSe@C electrode exhibits a high specific capacity(508.3 m Ah g^(-1)at 0.05 A g^(-1)),excellent rate performance(177.8 m Ah g^(-1)at 10.0 A g^(-1)),and remarkable cycling stability(195.9 m Ah g^(-1)after 10,000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1)).Furthermore,in-situ Xray diffraction(XRD)/Raman,ex-situ transmission electron microscopy,and kinetic analysis clearly reveal a four-step electrochemical reaction process and battery-capacitor dual-mode sodium storage mechanism.This work provides a new perspective for developing commercial SIBs anode materials with high capacity and long lifespan.Zhixin Liang Qinghua Li Wang Zhang Dandan Yu Wei Zhang Jiawei Wu Gaoyu Wang Wenbo Fan Junling Wang Shaoming Huang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12:2
3MODES COMPUTATION AND ANALYSIS FOR LONG MULTI-SPAN BUNDLE CONDUCTORS OF POWER TRANSMISSION LINES WITH GALLOPING CONTROL DEVICES显示文摘A new type of element which is suitable for solving the modes of the galloping long multi-spanbundle conductor structures is presented.The element is composed of all sub-conductor segments betweentwo spacers.Based on the linearized governing differential equations of the conductors,the mass matrix andstiffness matrix of the element in consideration of the constrained relations imposed on the conductors byspacers are derived.The dynamic characteristics of the galloping control devices can be directly added to theelement.The modes for an actual power line structure are computed by using the element formula and FEMprocedures,where seven cases of different galloping control device allocations are considered.Comparedwith the measured data,the method is shown to be reliable and effective.Analysis and discussions of thecomputational results are given.Some hints that are helpful to further investigation of galloping are also ob-tained.Zhao Gaoyu He Zeng 2002Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2002,15,4:1

11General Preparation and Shaping of Multifunctional Nanowire Aerogels for Pressure/Gas/Photo‑Sensing显示文摘Nanowires(NWs)with ultrahigh aspect ratio are good one-dimensional(1D)nano scafolds for building functional aerogels.However,challenges still remain in exploring methods to prepare shape designable NW aerogels with high quality,and to reveal multi functions in a single NW aerogel monolith.Here,we report a general camphene freeze-drying method for preparation of various inorganic NW aerogels(e.g,Cu,hydroxylapatite,MnO_(2)and MnOOH NW aerogels),2D graphene oxide nanosheet aerogels,organic polymer aerogels of polystyrene(post-synthesis)and resin(in situ polymerization)aerogels,which can be freely shaped in the frozen monolith stage.The as prepared aerogels have even distributed porosity and smooth surface.Also camphene is cheap and can be efectively recycling collected for reuse.For the Cu NW aerogel with even porosity and low density of 20 mg cm^(−3),multifunctional pressure/gas/photo-sensing was demonstrated.A high pressure sensitivity of 1.7 kPa^(−1)was achieved.Xiaoyu Liu Gaoyu Chen Jianchun Bao Xiangxing Xu 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,1:0

14Universal architecture and defect engineering dual strategy for hierarchical antimony phosphate composite toward fast and durable sodium storage显示文摘Antimony(Sb)-ba sed anode materials are feasible candidates for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) due to their high theoretical specific capacity and excellent electrical conductivity.However,they still suffer from volume distortion,structural collapse,and ionic conduction interruption upon cycling.Herein,a hierarchical array-like nanofiber structure was designed to address these limitations by combining architecture engineering and anion tuning strategy,in which SbPO_(4-x) with oxygen vacancy nanosheet arrays are anchored on the surface of interwoven carbon nanofibers(SbPO_(4-x)@CNFs).In particular,bulky PO_(4)^(3-) anions mitigate the large volume distortion and generate Na_(3)PO_(4) with high ionic conductivity,collectively improving cyclic stability and ionic transport efficiency.The abundant oxygen vacancies substantially boost the intrinsic electronic conductivity of SbPO_4,further accelerating the reaction dynamics.In addition,hierarchical fibrous structures provide abundant active sites,construct efficient conducting networks,and enhance the electron/ion transport capacity.Benefiting from the advanced structural design,the SbPO_(4-x)@CNFs electrodes exhibit outstanding cycling stability(1000 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1) with capacity decay of 0.05% per cycle) and rapid sodium storage performance(293.8 mA h g^(-1) at 5.0 A g^(-1)).Importantly,systematic in-/ex-situ techniques have revealed the 'multi-step conversion-alloying' reaction process and the 'battery-capacitor dual-mode' sodium-storage mechanism.This work provides valuable insights into the design of anode materials for advanced SIBs with elevated stability and superior rate performance.Jiawei Wu Gaoyu Wang Wei Zhang Lixiang Wang Jian Peng Qinghua Li Zhixin Liang Wenbo Fan Jiazhao Wang Shaoming Huang 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,90,3:0

16The relationship between sarcopenia,multidimensional frailty,and malnutrition cluster and long-term mortality in hospitalized patients with cirrhosis显示文摘Aim:Sarcopenia,multidimensional frailty,and malnutrition represent common debilitating conditions in the context of cirrhosis,linked to a variety of dismal outcomes.We aimed to clarify their overlap and cumulative impact on long-term mortality in hospitalized patients with cirrhosis.Methods:Consecutive patients with cirrhosis were prospectively recruited from January 2018 to December 2020.The diagnosis of sarcopenia,multidimensional frailty,and malnutrition was standardized according to the consensus definition and our well-documented criteria.The prevalence of the respective debilitating condition and the concurrence of this comorbidity were calculated.Results:In total,253 patients with cirrhosis aged 64 years with a female predominance(52.4%)were recruited.Sarcopenia was present in 20.9%(53/253),multidimensional frailty in 12.6%(32/253),and malnutrition in 44.7%(113/253)of the entire cohort.Approximately half of the patients had at least one debilitating condition(127/253).Sarcopenia and malnutrition co-existed in 33 nonfrail patients(13.0%)and multidimensional frailty and malnutrition in eight nonsarcopenic patients(3.2%).Fifteen(5.9%)subjects had all three debilitating conditions,namely malnutrition,sarcopenia,and frailty(MSF)group.The proportions of males,infections,and ascites were significantly higher in the MSF group.Patients in the MSF group had the highest levels of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and creatinine.The 2-year mortality rates in patients with three debilitating conditions,two conditions,one condition,and no conditions were 60.0%,23.8%,21.4%,and 13.5%,respectively.Multivariate Cox regression indicated the long-term mortality risk was approximately four-fold higher among patients in the MSF group compared to those with no conditions.Conclusions:A fraction of patients with cirrhosis exhibited comorbidities of sarcopenia,multidimensional frailty,and malnutrition,linked to a higher risk of long-term mortality.Gaoyue Guo Han Wang Wanting Yang Chaoqun Li Xingliang Zhao Xiaofei Fan Yangyang Hui Binxin Cui Xiaoyu Wang Xuqian Zhang Kui Jiang Chao Sun 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,2:0

19Diversity and independent evolutionary profiling of rodent-borne viruses in Hainan,a tropical island of China显示文摘The risk of emerging infectious diseases(EID)is increasing globally.More than 60%of EIDs worldwide are caused by animal-borne pathogens.This study aimed to characterize the virome,analyze the phylogenetic evolution,and determine the diversity of rodent-borne viruses in Hainan Province,China.We collected 682 anal and throat samples from rodents,combined them into 28 pools according to their species and location,and processed them for next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.The diverse viral contigs closely related to mammals were assigned to 22 viral families.Molecular clues of the important rodent-borne viruses were further identified by polymerase chain reaction for phylogenetic analysis and annotation of genetic characteristics such as arenavirus,coronavirus,astrovirus,pestivirus,parvovirus,and papillomavirus.We identified pestivirus and bocavirus in Leopoldoms edwardsi from Huangjinjiaoling,and bocavirus in Rattus andamanensis from the national nature reserves of Bangxi with low amino acid identity to known pathogens are proposed as the novel species,and their rodent hosts have not been previously reported to carry these viruses.These results expand our knowledge of viral classification and host range and suggest that there are highly diverse,undiscovered viruses that have evolved independently in their unique wildlife hosts in inaccessible areas.Youyou Li Chuanning Tang Yun Zhang Zihan Li Gaoyu Wang Ruoyan Peng Yi Huang Xiaoyuan Hu Henan Xin Boxuan Feng Xuefang Cao Yongpeng He Tonglei Guo Yijun He Haoxiang Su Xiuji Cui Lina Niu Zhiqiang Wu Jian Yang Fan Yang Gang Lu Lei Gao Qi Jin Meifang Xiao Feifei Yin Jiang Du 2023Virologica Sinica2023,38,5:0
20Effects and Mechanism of Oxymatrine on Proliferation,Invasion and Migration of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells显示文摘[Objectives] To observe the effects of oxymatrine on the proliferation,invasion and migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cells,and to explore its possible molecular mechanism.[Methods]The hepatocellular carcinoma cell line Hep G2 was randomly divided into the negative control group and the low,medium and high concentration groups of oxymatrine.The negative control group was added to the cell culture medium,and the low,medium and high concentration groups of oxymatrine were added to the oxymatrine and cell culture medium with the final concentration of 1.0,2.0 and 4.0 mg/m L.The proliferation of each group was measured by MTT assay,and the inhibition rate of cell proliferation was calculated.The invasion and migration ability of each group was determined using Transwell chamber assay.The expression of E-cadherin and CD44 mRNA in each group was detected using Real-time PCR,while the expression of E-cadherin and CD44 protein was detected using Western blotting method.[Results] The inhibition rate of cell proliferation in the high concentration group of oxymatrine was higher than that in the medium and low concentration groups,and the inhibition rate of cell proliferation of medium concentration group was higher than that in the low concentration group.In the cell invasion and cell migration experiments,the number of transmembrane cells of low,medium and high concentration groups of oxymatrine was less than that in the negative control group(P < 0.05),the number of transmembrane cells of high concentration groups of oxymatrine was less than that in medium and low concentration groups,and the number of transmembrane cells of medium concentration group was less than in that of the low concentration group(P < 0.05).Compared with the negative control group,the expression of E-cadherin mRNA and protein increased in the low,medium and high concentration groups of oxymatrine,while the expression of CD44 mRNA and protein decreased(P < 0.05).[Conclusions] Oxymatrine has the effect of inhibiting the proliferation,invasion and migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cell line Hep G2 in vitro.The higher the concentration,the more significant the effect will be.The mechanism is possibly connected with the up-regulation of E-cadherin expression and down-regulation of CD44 expression.Tongyuan DENG Guiliu HUANG Zansong HUANG Xihan ZHOU Gaoyu HU Yueqiu QIN 2018Medicinal Plant2018,9,6:0
