| 2 | Safflower yellow injection combined with conventional therapy in treating unstable angina pectoris:a meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of safflower yellow injection combined with conventional therapy in treating unstable angina pectoris.METHODS:We searched online databases:Chinese journal full-text database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang database,Chinese journal full-text database,Pubmed,ScienceDirect,Embase,and the Cochrane Library with manual-screening of relevant literature.Eligible randomized controlled trials(RCT)on angina pectoris were included.We conducted meta-analysis using the RevMan 5.1 software from The Cochrane Collaboration.We treated the relief rate of angina symptoms and electrocardiograph(ECG)as evaluation.RESULTS:Seven articles,including in 1134 patients,were enrolled after the evaluation.Therewas no significant heterogeneity among the studies(χ2=1.08,df=6,P=0.98,I2=0%).The safflower yellow injection with conventional therapy has a higher effective rate than the control group in relieving the symptoms of angina pectoris[odds ratio(OR)=2.95,95%(CI)(1.81,4.81)]and improving ischemic ECG[OR=2.85,95%CI(1.67,4.86)].The difference was statistically significant in the'80 mg dosage'and'100 mg dosage'subgroups(P<0.05)for improving clinical symptoms and ECG.The funnel graphic was nearly symmetrical.Sensitivity analysis suggested that the results were stable.CONCLUSION:Safflower yellow injection as an adjunct therapy with conventional drugs shows advantages in easing the clinical symptoms of unstable angina and improving ECG over basic therapy alone.However,the conclusions should be interpreted with care until more high-quality RCTs are reported.2013 JTCM.All rights reserved. | Dezhao Kong Wei Xia Zhe Zhang Lei Xiao Dongchao Yuan Yue Liu Guanlin Yang | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,5: | 20 |

| 6 | Sini decoction as an adjuvant therapy for angina pectoris:a systematic review of randomized controlled trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To systematically assess the effects and safety of Sini decoction as an adjuvant therapy for patients with angina pectoris.METHODS: We searched Pub Med, Excerpt Medica Database, the Cochrane library, Wanfang Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database from the date of its inception until August 1, in2014. Available literatures were selected according to the inclusion criteria. Two reviewers finished data extraction, checked the data and assessed the methodological quality of studies, independently.The Review Manage Software 5.1.0 was used for data analysis.RESULTS: Six trials involving 453 participants were eligible. None of the trials reported the mortality due to angina pectoris. The secondary outcomes showed that Sini decoction, together with nitroglycerin when necessary, may have some effects on reducing the number of angina attacks and the amount of nitroglycerin. But in terms of reducing the duration of angina and improvement of electrocardiogram, there were no statistical differences between Sini decoction group and isosorbide dinitrate group. | 10 | Short-Term Effects of Experimental Warming and Precipitation Manipulation on Soil Microbial Biomass C and N, Community Substrate Utilization Patterns and Community Composition显示文摘Soil microorganisms are major drivers of soil carbon(C) cycling;however,the response of these microorganisms to climate change remains unclear.In the present study,we investigated how 18 months of multifactor climate treatments(warmed air temperature by 3℃ and decreased or increased precipitation manipulation by 30%) affected soil microbial biomass C and nitrogen(N),community substrate utilization patterns,and community composition.Decreased and increased precipitation significantly reduced microbial biomass C by 13.5% and 24.9% and microbial biomass N by 22.9% and 17.6% in unwarmed plots,respectively(P<0.01).Warming enhanced community substrate utilization by 89.8%,20.4%,and 141.4% in the natural,decreased,and increased precipitation plots,respectively.Particularly,warming significantly enhanced the utilization of amine and carboxylic acid substrates among all precipitation manipulation plots.Compared with the natural air temperature with natural precipitation treatment,other treatments affected fungal community richness by -0.9% to 33.6% and reduced the relative abundance of the dominant bacterial and fungal groups by 0.5% to 6.8% and 4.3% to 10.7%,respectively.The warming and/or precipitation manipulation treatments significantly altered Zygomycota abundance(P<0.05).Our results indicate that climate change drivers and their interactions may cause changes in soil microbial biomass C and N,community substrate utilization patterns,and community composition,particularly for the fungal community,and shifts in the microorganism community may further shape the ecosystems function. | Guanlin LI Seongjun KIM Minji PARK Yowhan SON | 2017 | Pedosphere2017,27,4: | 4 |
| 11 | Inhibiting effect of melittin on pathogens of crops显示文摘The spectrum of antimicrobial effects of melittin were investigated on 19 pathogens by using a cylin-der-plate method with serial dilutions. Bacteriostatic efficiency and possible mechanistic effects were monitored via growth curves. The mechanism of inhibition was further analyzed by SDS-PAGE, flow cytometry and electron microscopy. Melittin had a wide inhibition spectrum and killed pathogens ef-fectively, and bacteriostatic action was influenced by factors such as pH and temperature. We eluci-dated three inhibitory mechanisms: melittin integrated with the cell membrane causing cell bursting and cytoplasm release, inhibited the synthesis of proteins and caused the cytoplasm to condense, and delayed pathogens in phase I (or phase G1) so that they could not complete the cell cycle. To provide local engineering design with workable solutions, it is crucial to analyze the mechanical performance of rock masses and its mechanisms under the coupling action of corrosive acid and freeze-thaw cycles. In this study, granite samples from the northern Tien Shan Mountains near Urumchi, Xinjiang Province, as well as two kinds of sandstone samples for comparison, were subjected to different soaking conditions, including nitric acid soaking at various pH values. One or both of the freeze-thaw cycle tests and uniaxial compression test were then executed. Speculations regarding the mechanism of the performance of granite rock masses under the action of corrosive acid and freeze-thaw cycles were developed based on the results of these tests. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were implemented to demonstrate the feasibility of the speculated mechanism.
