Types of Enclaves and Their Features and Origins in Intermediate-Acid Intrusive Rocks from the Tongling District, Anhui Province, China显示文摘Enclaves in intermediate-acid plutons from Tongling can be divided into three types: xenoliths, relics and magmatogenic enclaves. The magmatogenic enclaves consist of cumulates, micrograined dioritite mixtite and dioritic chilled border enclaves. Petrologically, relics with eyed and meta-poikilitic texture are characterized by high content of biotite (>80%) and low content of cordierite and grossular. The cumulates with accumulate texture consist of a great amount of pyroxene, hornblende and minor spinel and phlogopite. The micrograined dioritic mixtite is composed of more hornblendes and feldspar and less needle apatites and an ellipsoid basic core included in plagio-clase. The chilled border enclaves have the same mineral association, but more dark minerals than the host rocks consisting of plagioclase, quartz, alkaline feldspar, hornblende and biotite. Geochemically, the relics exhibit high REE content (455.8×10-6) and high ratio of LREE/HREE, more obvious Eu negative anomaly and are rich in CrWU Cailai WANG Zhihong QIAO Dewu LI Haibing HAO Meiying SHI Rendeng 2000Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2000,74,1:35
Biomimetic nanomedicine toward personalized disease theranostics显示文摘Despite nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems have aroused broad research interest in the biomedical fields, the rising challenges such as easy recognition by the immune system and low accumulation in diseased sites significantly hinder their further clinical translation.Nanoparticles wrapped in cell membrane have emerged as a distinctive strategy to overcome these limitations due to the superior marriage of natural cell membrane and artificial nanomaterials, which endow them with prominent advantages in disease diagnosis and treatment, such as targeted drug transport, prolonged drug half-life,and diminished immunogenicity and cytotoxicity. In this review,we mainly highlight and discuss the evolving progresses and advantages of cell membrane-based biomimetic nanosystems in the detection and treatment of various diseases over the past five years, including oncology, bacterial infections, brain diseases, and inflammatory diseases, which would benefit researchers in better and comprehensively understanding the complicated microenvironment of diseases and developing personalized biomimetic nanomedicines for different diseases. The current challenges and potential opportunities for the future clinical translation of cell membrane coating nanotechnology are also covered.Huisong Hao Yu Chen Meiying Wu 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:3
Engineered gold/black phosphorus nanoplatforms with remodeling tumor microenvironment for sonoactivated catalytic tumor theranostics显示文摘The imbalance between oxidants and antioxidants in cancer cells would evoke oxidative stress-induced cell death, which has been demonstrated to be highly effective in treating malignant tumors.Sonodynamic therapy(SDT)adopts ultrasound(US)as the excitation source to induce the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS),which emerges as a noninvasive therapeutic strategy with deep tissue penetration depth and high clinical safety.Herein,we construct novel sonoactivated oxidative stress amplification nanoplatforms by coating MnO_(2) on Au nanoparticle-anchored black phosphorus nanosheets and decorating soybean phospholipid subsequently(Au/BP@MS).The Au/BP@MS exhibit increased ROS generation efficiency under US irradiation in tumor tissues due to Au/BP nanosensitizer-induced improvement of electron-hole separation as well as MnO_(2)-mediated O_(2) generation and GSH depletion, thus leading to notable inhibition effect on tumor growth. Moreover, tumor microenvironment-responsive biodegradability of Au/BP@MS endows them with enhanced magnetic resonance imaging guidance and clinical potential for cancer theranostics.Ting Chen Weiwei Zeng Changjun Tie Mian Yu Huisong Hao Yang Deng Qianqian Li Hairong Zheng Meiying Wu Lin Mei 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:1

VIS Atlas:A Database of Virus Integration Sites in Human Genome from NGS Data to Explore Integration Patterns显示文摘Integration of oncogenic DNA viruses into the human genome is a key step in most virusinduced carcinogenesis. Here,we constructed a virus integration site(VIS)Atlas database,an extensive collection of integration breakpoints for three most prevalent oncoviruses, human papillomavirus, hepatitis B virus, and Epstein-Barr virus based on the next-generation sequencing(NGS)data, literature, and experimental data. There are 63,179 breakpoints and 47,411 junctional sequences with full annotations deposited in the VIS Atlas database, comprising 47 virus genotypes and 17 disease types. The VIS Atlas database provides(1)a genome browser for NGS breakpoint quality check, visualization of VISs,and the local genomic context;(2)a novel platform to discover integration patterns;and(3)a statistics interface for a comprehensive investigation of genotypespecific integration features.Data collected in the VIS Atlas aid to provide insights into virus pathogenic mechanisms and the development of novel antitumor drugs.Ye Chen Yuyan Wang Ping Zhou Hao Huang Rui Li Zhen Zeng Zifeng Cui Rui Tian Zhuang Jin Jiashuo Liu Zhaoyue Huang Lifang Li Zheying Huang Xun Tian Meiying Yu Zheng Hu 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,2:0
Study on The Whitening Effect of a Composite Plant Extract显示文摘By compounding the cranberry extract, lavender flower extract,Kakadu plum extract, edelweiss flower/leaf extract and aloe vera extract into a composite plant extract(BIRC-Rosée WT100),the whitening effects of this composite plant extract in antioxidation,anti-inflammation,skin barrier maintenance, and inhibition of melanin production and transport were evaluated.By comparing the inhibitory effects on tyrosinase activity between the composite plant extract andα-arbutin,and then analyzing the decline of apparent chromaticity, apparent brightness and melanin content through 3D melanin skin model platform, the comprehensive whitening effect was evaluated and compared with that of kojic acid. The results showed that, the composite plant extract(BIRC-Rosée WT100)had a tyrosinase inhibition rate of 98.99%at the original concentration, which was much higher than that ofα-arbutin.In 3D melanin skin model, the apparent chromaticity and brightness could be effectively improved, and moreover, the total amount of melanin in the skin could be reduced, showing remarkable whitening effect.Zhang Hao Tang Wendi Hu Qiuming Zhong Meiying Li Yan Wang Yan 2023China Detergent & Cosmetics2023,8,3:0
Efficacy of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)on gut mircobiota in mice with autoimmune encephalomyelitis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To learn the mechanisms between gut microbiome and the autoimmunity benefits on Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in central nervous system(CNS),we investigated the neuro-protection effects and gut mircobiota changes of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)on experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE),an animal model of multiple sclerosis(MS).METHODS:Mice were randomly divided into four groups:EAE mice(control phosphate-buffered saline group),50 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated EAE mice,100 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated EAE mice, and 200 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated EAE mice. The spinal cords were stained with hematoxylin and eosin(HE)and luxol fast blue for evaluating inflammatory infiltration and demyelination. The percentages of granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor(GM-CSF)+CD4+,interleukin 17(IL-17)+CD4+,Foxp3 CD4+,and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)+CD4+T cells in the inguinal lymph nodes(LNs)and brain were determined by flow cytometry analysis.16S rRNA gene sequencing was employed to analyze the changes in gut microbiota.RESULTS:We found that Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)alleviated the disease severity and neuropathology of EAE as evaluated by clinical and histopathologyical scores.Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)increased the diversity and abundance of the gut microbiota, and decreased Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio(F/B ratio).Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)also decreased the concentrations of IL-10,and IL-21 and increase the levels of GM-CSF,IL-17A,IL-17F and IL-22 in serum of EAE mice. Moreover,Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)modulated the T cell responses by inhibiting Th17 cells and restoring Treg cells in the small intestine lymphoid tissues and inguinal lymph nodes.Microbiota-depleted mice receiving Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated fecal microbiota transplantation had lower disease severity, neuropathology scores and alleviation of Th17/Treg imbalance compared to ad libitum group.CONCLUSIONS:Our findings suggested that the vital neuro-protection role of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)(TCM)in immunomodulation effects partly by regulations of gut microbiome.ZHOU Jun WANG Junhua LI Xiaobing WAN Chenyi LI Fangjun LüYanni CHEN Hao SUN Meiying 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,4:0
