| 5 | Ablation and radar-wave transmission performances of the nitride ceramic matrix composites显示文摘The 2.5 dimensional silica fiber reinforced nitride matrix composites (2.5D SiO2f/Si3N4-BN) were prepared through the preceramic polymer impregnation pyro- lysis (PIP) method. The ablation and radar-wave transparent performances of the composite at high temperature were evaluated under arc jet. The composition and ablation surface microstructures were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that the 2.5D SiO2f/Si3N4-BN composites have a linear ablation rate of 0.33 mm/s and high radar-wave trans- parent ratio of 98.6%. The fused layer and the matrix are protected by each other, and no fused layer accumulates on the ablation surface. | 6 | Analysis on the hourly spatiotemporal complementarities between China's solar and wind energy resources spreading in a wide area显示文摘China is rich in solar and wind energy resources,of which the proportion of China's power sources has been rapidly increasing.Such fluctuating and intermittent energy sources will bring significant challenges to the safe and stable operation power system.However,making use of the spatiotemporal complementarities between different renewable energy resources is a feasible way to level fluctuating power especially when they have a widely geographical dispersion.Based on the data provided by China Meteorological Administration(CMA),this research explores the spatiotemporal complementarities between wind and solar energy resources.This paper nondimensionalizes hourly wind speed and global solar radiation data and employs several indexes to compare the smoothing effect with various combining scenarios.The results show that combining wind and solar powers within a certain area can cause a fall of zero-power or very-full power hours.Besides,combining different resources improves 'smoothness' in power output when compared with that from each individual resource.However,under hourly time scale,when the dispersion of sites is large enough,the smoothing effect of combining the dispersed wind power is very close to the combination of those two different resources.Nevertheless,this complementary effect is much better than that of just combining solar energy resources. | LIU Yi XIAO LiYe WANG HaiFeng DAI ShaoTao QI ZhiPing | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,7: | 14 |

| 11 | MdMYB6 regulates anthocyanin formation in apple both through direct inhibition of the biosynthesis pathway and through substrate removal显示文摘Anthocyanin biosynthesis and sugar metabolism are important processes during plant growth,but the molecular interactions underlying these pathways are still unclear.In this work,we analyzed the anthocyanin and soluble sugar contents,as well as the transcript levels of transcription factors that are known to be related to the biosynthesis of anthocyanin in‘Hongcui 1’apple flesh during fruit development.Overexpression of MdMYB6 in red-fleshed calli was found to reduce anthocyanin content and result in downregulated expression of the MdANS and MdGSTF12 proteins.Yeast one-hybrid and electrophoretic mobility shift analyses showed that MdMYB6 could directly bind to the promoters of MdANS and MdGSTF12,indicating that MdMYB6 could inhibit anthocyanin biosynthesis by regulating MdANS and MdGSTF12.Overexpression of MdTMT1 in the Arabidopsis tmt1 mutant restored the glucose and fructose contents to the wild-type levels,while overexpression of MdTMT1 in red-fleshed calli increased the contents of glucose and fructose but reduced the contents of UDP-glucose,UDP-galactose,and anthocyanin.Using a GUS reporter system,yeast one-hybrid,chromatin immunoprecipitation-PCR and electrophoretic mobility shift analyses,we found that MdMYB6 could bind to the promoter of MdTMT1,resulting in increased promoter activity.Overexpression of MdMYB6 in calli overexpressing MdTMT1 increased the expression of MdTMT1,which led to reduced contents of UDP-glucose and UDP-galactose and decreased anthocyanin content compared to those of the calli that overexpressed MdTMT1.This finding suggested that MdMYB6 could also inhibit anthocyanin biosynthesis by regulating MdTMT1 to decrease the contents of UDP-glucose and UDP-galactose.Taken together,these results showed that MdMYB6 and MdTMT1 play key roles in both anthocyanin biosynthesis and sugar transport. | Haifeng Xu Qi Zou Guanxian Yang Shenghui Jiang Hongcheng Fang Yicheng Wang Jing Zhang Zongying Zhang Nan Wang Xuesen Chen | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 6 |

Based on the realistic radio model, we combine the region-based routing, rendezvous scheme, sleep discipline and cooperative communication together to model data forwarding by cross layer design in WSN. At the same time, a lightweight transmission power control algorithm called PC-AIMD (Power Control Additive Increase Multiplicative Decrease) is introduced to utilize the co- operation of relay nodes to improve the forwarding efficiency performance and increase the robustness of the routing protocol. | 14 | Domesticated cynomolgus monkey embryonic stem cells allow the generation of neonatal interspecies chimeric pigs显示文摘Blastocyst complementation by pluripotent stem cell(PSC)injection is believed to be the most promising method to generate xenogeneic organs.However,ethical issues prevent the study of human chimeras in the late embryonic stage of development.Primate embryonic stem cells(ESCs),which have similar pluripotency to human ESCs,are a good model for studying interspecies chimerism and organ generation.However,whether primate ESCs can be used in xenogenous grafts remains unclear.In this study,we evaluated the chimeric ability of cynomolgus monkey(Macaca fascicularis)ESCs(cmESCs)in pigs,which are excellent hosts because of their many similarities to humans.We report an optimized culture medium that enhanced the anti-apoptotic ability of cmESCs and improved the development of chimeric embryos,in which domesticated cmESCs(D-ESCs)injected into pig blastocysts differentiated into cells of all three germ layers.In addition,we obtained two neonatal interspecies chimeras,in which we observed tissue-specific D-ESC differentiation.Taken together,the results demonstrate the capability of D-ESCs to integrate and differentiate into functional cells in a porcine model,with a chimeric ratio of 0.001-0.0001 in different neonate tissues.We believe this work will facilitate future developments in xenogeneic organogenesis,bringing us one step closer to producing tissue-specific functional cells and organs in a large animal model through interspecies blastocyst complementation. | Rui Fu Dawei Yu Jilong Ren Chongyang Li Jing Wang Guihai Feng Xuepeng Wang Haifeng Wan Tianda Li Libin Wang Ying Zhang Tang Hai Wei Li Qi Zhou | 2020 | Protein & Cell2020,11,2: | 4 |

| 17 | Promoting effect of vanadium on catalytic activity of Pt/Ce–Zr–O diesel oxidation catalysts显示文摘A series of Pt–V/Ce–Zr–O diesel oxidation catalysts was prepared using the impregnation method. The catalytic activity and sulfur resistance of Pt–V/Ce–Zr–O were investigated in the presence of simulated diesel exhaust. The effect of vanadium on the structure and redox properties of the catalysts was also investigated using the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller method,X-ray diffraction, H2temperature-programmed reduction, CO temperature-programmed desorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy. Results showed that the Pt particles were well dispersed on the Ce–Zr–O carrier through the vanadium isolation effect, which significantly improved the oxidation activity toward CO and hydrocarbons. | 18 | In vivo degradation and endothelialization of an iron bioresorbable scaffold显示文摘Detection of in vivo biodegradation is critical for development of next-generation medical devices such as bioresorbable stents or scaffolds(BRSs).In particular,it is urgent to establish a nondestructive approach to examine in vivo degradation of a new-generation coronary stent for interventional treatment based on mammal experiments;otherwise it is not available to semi-quantitatively monitor biodegradation in any clinical trial.Herein,we put forward a semi-quantitative approach to measure degradation of a sirolimus-eluting iron bioresorbable scaffold(IBS)based on optical coherence tomography(OCT)images;this approach was confirmed to be consistent with the present weight-loss measurements,which is,however,a destructive approach.The IBS was fabricated by a metal-polymer composite technique with a polylactide coating on an iron stent.The efficacy as a coronary stent of this new bioresorbable scaffold was compared with that of a permanent metal stent with the name of trade mark Xience,which has been widely used in clinic.The endothelial coverage on IBS was found to be greater than on Xience after implantation in a rabbit model;and our well-designed ultrathin stent exhibited less individual variation.We further examined degradation of the IBSs in both minipig coronary artery and rabbit abdominal aorta models.The present result indicated much faster iron degradation of IBS in the rabbit model than in the porcine model.The semi-quantitative approach to detect biodegradation of IBS and the finding of the species difference might be stimulating for fundamental investigation of biodegradable implants and clinical translation of the next-generation coronary stents. | Wenjiao Lin Hongjie Zhang Wanqian Zhang Haiping Qi Gui Zhang Jie Qian Xin Li Li Qin Haifeng Li Xiang Wang Hong Qiu Xiaoli Shi Wei Zheng Deyuan Zhang Runlin Gao Jiandong Ding | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,4: | 3 |
| 19 | Fabrication of high performance 3D SiO_2/Si_3N_4 composite via perhydropolysilazane infiltration and pyrolysis显示文摘Perhydropolysilazane, a low viscosity preceramic polymer with good wettability and high char yield, was used to fabricate three-dimensional silica fiber reinforced silicon nitride matrix composites through the repeated infiltration-curing- pyrolysis cycles. With the increase of the pyrolysis temperature from T1, T2 to T3, the density of the composites increased all through, but the flexural strength showed a maximum value at T2 followed by a sharp decrease. The composite prepared at T2 exhibited a good ceramization of the preceramic polymer, a high flexural strength of 144.9 MPa and excellent dielectric property.
