1Lotus seedpod-inspired internal vascularized 3D printed scaffold for bone tissue repair显示文摘In the field of bone defect repair,3D printed scaffolds have the characteristics of personalized customization and accurate internal structure.However,how to construct a well-structured vascular network quickly and effectively inside the scaffold is essential for bone repair after transplantation.Herein,inspired by the unique biological structure of“lotus seedpod”,hydrogel microspheres encapsulating deferoxamine(DFO)liposomes were prepared through microfluidic technology as“lotus seeds”,and skillfully combined with a three-dimensional(3D)printed bioceramic scaffold with biomimetic“lotus”biological structure which can internally grow blood vessels.In this composite scaffold system,DFO was effectively released by 36%in the first 6 h,which was conducive to promote the growth of blood vessels inside the scaffold quickly.In the following 7 days,the release rate of DFO reached 69%,which was fundamental in the formation of blood vessels inside the scaffold as well as osteogenic differentiation of bone mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).It was confirmed that the composite scaffold could significantly promote the human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)to form the vascular morphology within 6 h in vitro.In vivo,the composite scaffold increased the expression of vascularization and osteogenic related proteins Hif1-α,CD31,OPN,and OCN in the rat femoral defect model,significantly cutting down the time of bone repair.To sum up,this“lotus seedpod”inspired porous bioceramic 3D printed scaffold with internal vascularization functionality has broad application prospects in the future.Xiaoyu Han Mingjie Sun Bo Chen Qimanguli Saiding Junyue Zhang Hongliang Song Lianfu Deng Peng Wang Weiming Gong Wenguo Cui 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,6:4

5Preparation of high selectivity silicalite-1 membranes by two-step in situ hydrothermal synthesis显示文摘High selectivity silicalite-1 membranes were synthesized on silica tubes by in situ hydrothermal synthesis. Using a two-step synthesis, a membrane with a separation factor of 99 was prepared for separating an ethanol/water mixture at 60°C. The average (n = 4) flux and separation factor of the membranes were 0.47 kg m-2 h-1 and 89, respectively. The membranes exhibited high reproducibility, and the relative standard deviation of the average (n = 4) flux and separation factor were only 5.3% and 9.2%, respectively. 6Preparation of CoP films by ultrasonic electroless deposition at low initial temperature显示文摘Electroless deposition technology has been considered as a kind of common ways to obtain cobalt alloy films. However, in order to get cobalt alloy films, high temperature(353 K) is necessary during the electroless deposition process which will increase costs and energy consumption. Ultrasonic was introduced during electroless plating process to obtain cobalt alloy films at lower initial temperature. It was found that the cobalt thin films could be prepared at lower initial temperature(323 K) with the introduction of ultrasonic. Therefore, different powers of ultrasonic were applied during the electroless deposition process to prepare CoP thin films on copper substrates from an alkaline bath in this investigation. The effects of different powers of ultrasonic on deposition rate, surface morphology, anticorrosion performance and magnetic property of films were studied. It was found that the deposition rate increased gradually with the rise in ultrasonic powers due to cavitation phenomenon. All the CoP films presented the typical spherical nodular structures with the impact of ultrasonic. Smaller and regular shaped structures could be observed when the films were deposited with higher power of ultrasonic which contributed directly to enhancement of anticorrosion performance. Saturation magnetization and coercivity of thin films increased gradually with the rise in ultrasonic powers during the electroless deposition process due to the higher amounts of cobalt.& 2014 Chinese Materials Research Society. 15Relationship of serum GDF11 levels with bone mineral density and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women显示文摘Growth differentiation factor 11(GDF11) is an important circulating factor that regulates aging.However,the role of GDF11 in bone metabolism remains unclear.The present study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between serum GDF11 level,bone mass,and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women.Serum GDF11 level,bone turnover biochemical markers,and bone mineral density(BMD) were determined in 169 postmenopausal Chinese women(47–78 years old).GDF11 serum levels increased with aging.There were negative correlations between GDF11 and BMD at the various skeletal sites.After adjusting for age and body mass index(BMI),the correlations remained statistically significant.In the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis,age or years since menopause,BMI,GDF11,and estradiol were independent predictors of BMD.A significant negative correlation between GDF11 and bone alkaline phosphatase(BAP) was identified and remained significant after adjusting for age and BMI.No significant correlation was noted between cross-linked N-telopeptides of type I collagen(NTX) and GDF11.In conclusion,GDF11 is an independent negative predictor of BMD and correlates with a biomarker of bone formation,BAP,in postmenopausal Chinese women.GDF11 potentially exerts a negative effect on bone mass by regulating bone formation.Yusi Chen Qi Guo Min Zhang Shumin Song Tonggui Quan Tiepeng Zhao Hongliang Li Lijuan Guo Tiejian Jiang Guangwei Wang 2016Bone Research2016,4,1:1

20Combined Size and Shape Optimization of Structures with DOE,RSM and GA显示文摘In this paper,size and shape optimization problem of a machine gun system is addressed with an efficient hybrid method,in which a novel and flexible mesh morphing technique is employed to achieve fast parameterization and modification of complexity structure without going back to CAD for reconstruction of geometric models or to finite element analysis( FEA) for remodeling. Design of experiments( DOE) and response surface method( RSM) are applied to approximate the constitutive parameters of a machine gun system based on experimental tests. Further FEA,secondary development technique and genetic algorithm( GA) are introduced to find all the optimal solutions in one go and the optimal design of the demonstrated machine gun system is obtained.
