| 3 | Single Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb Dating of the Guandimiao and Wawutang Granitic Plutons in Hunan,South China and Its Petrogenetic Significance显示文摘The Guandimao and Wawutang plutons are located at the center of Hunan, South China. The former is mainly composed of biotite monzonitic granites/granodiorites and two-mica monzonitic granites, but the latter only consists of biotite monzonitic granites. The zircon ages of 203.0±1.6 Ma (biotite monzonitic granites) and 208.0±3.2 Ma (two-mica monzonitic granites) for the Guandimao pluton and 204±3 Ma for the Wawutang pluton obtained with the LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating indicate that they were formed during the late Indosinian. In consideration of other geochronological data from Indosinian rocks of South China and adjacent regions, it is inferred that the two plutons were derived from crustal materials by decompressional melting in a post-collisional tectonic setting during spontaneous thinning of the thickened curst. | 4 | Myofiber necroptosis promotes muscle stem cell proliferation via releasing Tenascin-C during regeneration显示文摘Necroptosis,a form of programmed cell death,is characterized by the loss of membrane integrity and release of intracellular contents,the execution of which depends on the membrane-disrupting activity of the Mixed Lineage Kinase Domain-Like protein(MLKL)upon its phosphorylation.Here we found myofibers committed MLKL-dependent necroptosis after muscle injury.Either pharmacological inhibition of the necroptosis upstream kinase Receptor Interacting Protein Kinases 1(RIPK1)or genetic ablation of MLKL expression in myofibers led to significant muscle regeneration defects.By releasing factors into the muscle stem cell(MuSC)microenvironment,necroptotic myofibers facilitated muscle regeneration.Tenascin-C(TNC),released by necroptotic myofibers,was found to be critical for MuSC proliferation.The temporary expression of TNC in myofibers is tightly controlled by necroptosis;the extracellular release of TNC depends on necroptotic membrane rupture.TNC directly activated EGF receptor(EGFR)signaling pathway in MuSCs through its N-terminus assembly domain together with the EGF-like domain.These findings indicate that necroptosis plays a key role in promoting MuSC proliferation to facilitate muscle regeneration. | Shen'ao Zhou Wei Zhang Gaihong Cai Yingzhe Ding Caixia Wei Sheng Li Yu Yang Jie Qin Dan Liu Hao Zhang Xiexiang Shao Jianhua Wang Hongye Wang Wenjun Yang Huating Wang She Chen Ping Hu Liming Sun | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,12: | 4 |
| 5 | Chitosan-mediated synthesis of mesoporous α-Fe_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles and their applications in catalyzing selective oxidation of cyclohexane显示文摘This paper reports the chitosan-mediated synthesis of porous hematite nanoparticles with FeCl3 as the precursor via a hydrothermal approach at 160℃.A series of porous chitosan/iron oxide hybrid nanoparticles were obtained via changing the ratio of chitosan to FeCl3,FeCl3 concentration and pH value of the reaction solution,and producing porous iron oxide nanoparticles after calcination.The as-prepared samples were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,thermal gravimetric analysis,Fourier transform infrared,and N2 sorption.The particle sizes of these metal oxides were less than 100 nm,and the pore sizes were in the range of 2-16 nm.It was demonstrated that chitosan played a key role in the formation of the porous structures.The resultant α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles were used as the support to immobilize Au or Pd nanoparticles,producing Au/α-Fe2O3 or Pd/α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles.The as-prepared α-Fe2O3 nanocatalyst exhibited high selectivity towards cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol for catalyzing cyclohexane oxidation with O2 at 150℃. | HUANG ChangLiang ZHANG HongYe SUN ZhenYu LIU ZhiMin | 2010 | Science China Chemistry2010,53,7: | 4 |
| 6 | Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Wire + Arc Additively Manufactured 2050 Al–Li Alloy Wall Deposits显示文摘Aluminum–Lithium(Al–Li) alloy is a topic of great interest owing to its high strength and light weight, but there are only a few applications of Al–Li alloy in wire ss, a special AA2050 Al–Li alloy + arc additive manufacturing(WAAM) process. To identify its feasibility in WAAM procewire was produced and employed in the production of straight-walled components, using a WAAM system based on variable polarity gas tungsten arc welding(VP-GTAW) process. The influence of post-deposited heat treatment on the microstructure and property of the deposit was investigated using optical micrographs(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), hardness and tensile properties tests. Results revealed that the microstructures of AA2050 aluminum deposits varied with their location layers. The upper layers consisted of fine equiaxed grains, while the bottom layer exhibited a coarse columnar structure. Mechanical properties witnessed a significant improvement after post-deposited heat treatment, with the average micro-hardness reaching 141 HV and the ultimate tensile strength exceeding 400 MPa. | 7 | Magnetic properties and magnetic entropy change of perovskite manganites La_(0.9-x)Eu_xSr_(0.1)MnO_3(x=0.000,0.075) by experimental method and numerical fitting显示文摘Polycrystalline samples La_(0.9-x)EuxSr_(0.1)MnO_3(x = 0.000, 0.075) were prepared by the standard solid-state reaction method. The results show that the samples preform a characteristic of clusters spin-glass state at low temperature. The samples show a characteristic of ferromagnetism(FM) characteristic in the temperature range of 15-125 K and 15-150 K respectively; the samples show preformed clusters in the temperature range of 125-343 K and 150-325 K, respectively, the samples show paramagnetism(PM)characteristic above 343 and 325 K, respectively. The second-order transitions are found at 118 and 135 K for undoped and doped sample, respectively. When the applied magnetic field is 7 T, the maximum magnetic entropy change |△S_M| value of the samples is near the Curie temperature(Tc), and the value of|△S_M| reaches 2.76 and 3.03 J/(K kg), respectively. In addition, the relative cooling power(RCP) is found to be 425.28 and 443.53 J/kg. The numerical fitting data fit well with experimental data. | 17 | Clinical and antibody characteristics reveal diverse signatures of severe and non-severe SARS-CoV-2 patients显示文摘Background COVID-19 pandemic continues,clarifying signatures in clinical characters and antibody responses between severe and non-severe COVID-19 cases would benefit the prognosis and treatment.Methods In this study,119 serum samples from 37 severe or non-severe COVID-19 patients from the First People's Hospital of Yueyang were collected between January 25 and February 182020.The clinical features,antibody responses targeting SARS-CoV-2 spike protein(S)and its different domains,SARS-CoV-2-specific Ig isotypes,IgG subclasses,ACE2 competitive antibodies,binding titers with FcγIIa and FcγIIb receptors,and 14 cytokines were comprehensively investigated.The differences between severe and non-severe groups were analyzed using Mann–Whitney U test or Fisher’s exact test.Results Severe group including 9 patients represented lower lymphocyte count,higher neutrophil count,higher level of LDH,total bile acid(TBA)(P<1×10–4),r-glutaminase(P=0.011),adenosine deaminase(P<1×10–4),procalcitonin(P=0.004),C-reactive protein(P<1×10–4)and D-dimer(P=0.049)compared to non-severe group(28 patients).Significantly,higher-level Igs targeting S,different S domains(RBD,RBM,NTD,and CTD),FcγRIIa and FcγRIIb binding capability were observed in a severe group than that of a non-severe group,of which IgG1 and IgG3 were the main IgG subclasses.RBD-IgG were strongly correlated with S-IgG both in severe and non-severe group.Additionally,CTD-IgG was strongly correlated with S-IgG in a non-severe group.Positive RBD-ACE2 binding inhibition was strongly associated with high titers of antibody(S-IgG1,S-IgG3,NTD-IgG,RBD-IgA,NTD-IgA,and CTD-IgA)especially RBD-IgG and CTD-IgG in the severe group,while in the non-severe group,S-IgG3,RBD-IgG,NTD-IgG,and NTD-IgM were correlated with ACE2 blocking rate.S-IgG1,NTD-IgM and S-IgM were negatively associated with illness day in a severe group,while S-IgG3,RBD-IgA,CTD-IgA in the severe group(r=0.363,P=0.011)and S-IgG1,NTD-IgA,CTD-IgA in the non-severe group were positively associated with illness day.Moreover,GRO-α,IL-6,IL-8,IP-10,MCP-1,MCP-3,MIG,and BAFF were also significantly elevated in the severe group.Conclusion Antibody detection provides important clinical information in the COVID-19 process.The different signatures in Ig isotypes,IgG subclasses,antibody specificity between the COVID-19 severe and non-severe group will contribute to future therapeutic and preventive measures development. | Hongye Wang Dongshan Yan Ya Li Yanfei Gong Yulin Mai Bingxiang Li Xiaoyong Zhu Xinrui Wan Liyun Xie HuaKe Jiang Min Zhang Ming Sun Yufeng Yao Yongzhang Zhu | 2022 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,1: | 0 |
