1Efficient Image Transmission Schemes over Zigbee-Based Image Sensor Networks显示文摘Image transmission is one of the biggest challenges in wireless sensor networks because of the limited resource on sensor nodes. We proposed two image transmission schemes driven by reliability and real time considerations in order to transfer JPEG images over Zigbee-based sensor networks. By adding two bytes counter in the header of data packet, we can easily solve the repeated data reception problem caused by retransmission mechanism in traditional Zigbees network layer. We proposed an efficient retransmission and acknowledgment mechanism in Zigbees application layer. By classifying different data reception response events, we can provide data packets with differential responses and ensure that image packets can be transferred quickly even with large maximum number of retransmission. 2Non-stationary channel characterization for high-speed railway under viaduct scenarios显示文摘Non-stationary properties based on Markov chains are provided to characterize the wireless propagation mechanism of high-speed railway(HSR) under viaduct scenarios.This Markov modeling method reveals the temporal statistical behaviors of the persistence process corresponding to resolvable multipath components.Using the channel measurement data on Beijing–Tianjin HSR at 2.35 GHz,the steady-state probability matrices and the transition probability matrices of Markov chains are specified.The non-stationary channel parameters are informative for the link-level simulation and can be used for prototype verification for non-stationary HSR channels.In addition,we propose and investigate the concepts of the medium-scale fading entropy and lifetime,which quantitatively describe the degrees of uncertainty and stability,respectively.Furthermore,our provided models are compared with the experimental results by means of the Kullback–Leibler(KL) distance.It shows that the simulated results match the measured data very well.Liu Liu Cheng Tao Rongchen Sun Houjin Chen Zihuai Lin 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,35:3
3Channel capacity investigation of a linear massive MIMO system using spherical wave model in LOS scenarios显示文摘Massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) is a key technology for the 5th generation(5G)of wireless communication systems. The traditional plane wave channel model(PWM) is often not suitable for the large antenna structure, and in certain cases should be replaced by the more accurate spherical wave model(SWM). By using the spherical wave characterization method, this paper investigates the channel capacity performance of a linear massive MIMO system in line-of-sight(LOS) scenarios. Two types of access settings, the point to point(PTP) system and multi-user(MU) system, are considered. In the PTP setting, a geometrical optimization is performed to obtain configurations that are able to generate a full rank channel matrix for a linear massive MIMO system, which yields full spatial diversity even in LOS scenarios. Compared with the approximate and commonly applied rank-1 PWM, this is very useful for fixed wireless access and radio relay systems requiring high throughput. For the MU case, we compare the eigenvalue distributions of the LOS channels using the plane wave and spherical wave characterization method, and sum rate results are obtained by Monte Carlo simulations. The results show that MU systems using the more realistic and accurate SWM can achieve a higher sum rate than results from the PWM. 4Comparison of Four Forward Models for Breast Imaging in Ultrasound Computed Tomography显示文摘Ultrasound computed tomography(USCT)is considered to have great potential for breast cancer screening.Compared with ray-based methods,Waveform inversion(WI)methods obtain high spatial resolution images because they consider higher-order diffraction effects.For the WI method,considering more properties of the medium in a forward model can estimate more accurate images.However,longer reconstruction time is required.Therefore,to reduce the reconstruction time,three hypotheses are set in this work to develop the medium under different conditions.We compare the reconstructed images using the four forward models to analyze the effects of the various considered medium properties,which include the sound speed,density of the medium,acoustic absorption and dispersion.To reduce the difficulty of hardware manufacturing,a square border ultrasonic transducer array is adopted in the USCT data acquisition system.Penalized leastsquares optimization problems are constructed to obtain numerical solutions of the sound speed and bulk modulus distributions.The reconstruction of the bulk modulus makes the reconstructed sound speed images more accurate.Computer simulations are conducted to compare reconstructed images using the four forward models under different noise conditions.A numerical breast phantom is used to evaluate the performance.The results suggest that for breast imaging,the forward model(which only considers the heterogeneous sound speed)is a compromise option between image accuracy and computational time.LI Ruijing CHEN Houjin PENG Yahui LI Jupeng 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,4:2
5Numerical Study of Square Border Ultrasonic Transducer Element Arrays for Breast Imaging in Ultrasound Computed Tomography with Waveform Inversion Method显示文摘Ultrasound computed tomography (USCT) is a promising approach for early breast cancer screening. Existing studies that estimate breast images using Waveform inversion (WI) methods utilize a Circular ultrasonic transducer element array (CUTA) to collect the measurement data. However, very accurate transducer element positioning and directivity are required for signal calibration in the hardware system of these studies, thereby causing difficulties in hardware manufacturing. The purpose of this study is to estimate high-resolution USCT images using a WI method with a Square border ultrasonic transducer element array (SUTA), which reduces the difficulty of hardware manufacturing and creates accurate correspondence between the continuous and discrete forms of the transducer element positions. Therefore, in this study, an SUTA is adopted to collect the measurement data of breast imaging using the WI method. A penalized least-squares optimization problem is constructed to obtain the numerical solution of a sound speed distribution. Computer simulations are conducted to compare images reconstructed from the measurement data that are collected using an SUTA and a CUTA. The performance is evaluated using a numerical breast phantom. 11Recent Advances in Function-based Metagenomic Screening显示文摘Metagenomes from uncultured microorganisms are rich resources for novel enzyme genes. The methods used to screen the metagenomic libraries fall into two categories, which are based on sequence or function of the enzymes. The sequence-based approaches rely on the known sequences of the target gene families. In contrast, the function-based approaches do not involve the incorporation of metagenomic sequencing data and, therefore, may lead to the discovery of novel gene sequences with desired functions. In this review, we discuss the function-based screening strategies that have been used in the identi?cation of enzymes from metagenomes. Because of its simplicity, agar plate screening is most commonly used in the identi?cation of novel enzymes with diverse functions. Other screening methods with higher sensitivity are also employed, such as microtiter plate screening. Furthermore, several ultra-high-throughput methods were developed to deal with large metagenomic libraries. Among these are the FACS-based screening, droplet-based screening,and the in vivo reporter-based screening methods. 12Watts-level ultraviolet-CLED integrated light sources for efficient surface and air sterilization显示文摘With the epidemic of the coronavirus disease(COVID-19) infection, AlGaN-based ultraviolet-C light emitting diodes(UVC-LEDs) have attracted widespread attention for their sterilization application. However, the sterilization characters of high power integrated light sources(ILSs) haven’t been widely investigated before utilizing in public sanitary security. In this work,by integrating up to 195 UVC-LED chips, high power UVC-LED ILSs with a light output power(LOP) of 1.88 W were demonstrated. The UVC-LED ILSs were verified to have efficient and rapid sterilization capability, which have achieved more than99.9% inactivation rate of several common pathogenic microorganisms within 1 s. In addition, the corresponding air sterilization module based on them was also demonstrated to kill more than 97% of Staphylococcus albus in the air of 20 m3 confined room within 30 min. 14Sitting or Standing Data Acquisition Based Breast Ultrasound Computed Tomography显示文摘Ultrasound computed tomography(UCT)is a promising approach for early breast cancer screening.However,current studies which use prone posture to collect breast ultrasonic data cause four problems,a long non-data-acquisition time,inconvenient,possible chances for cross infection,and a large area occupied by equipment.The purpose of this study is to estimate a complete breast UCT image by using sitting or standing data acquisition,which can obtains a more rapid,convenient and sanitary examination process,and a less space occupied by equipment.Therefore,this study proposes a sitting or standing data acquisition based breast UCT method,which is a more practical data acquisition method for breast UCT.This study places a uniform soft sleeve on the outside of the breast so that it would not be deformed significantly due to the change of body posture.Because the soft sleeve is an influencing factor from outside for breast imaging,this study discusses the considerations for selecting that.Computer simulations are conducted to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.Results suggest that,by using a soft sleeve whose sound speed is between 1450 m/s and 1550 m/s,the proposed method is effective;the biases of the reconstructed images are less than 1%under the 5%noise condition.LI Ruijing CHEN Houjin PENG Yahui LI Jupeng LI Yanfeng 2021Chinese Journal of Electronics2021,30,5:0
15Effects of nanoparticle structural features on the light-matter interactions in nanocermet layers and cermet-based solar absorbers显示文摘Metallic nanoparticle(NP)/ceramic composite cermets present desirable broadband absorption of the solar spectrum and thus are the preferred material scheme for constructing cermet-based solar absorbers.However,the effects of fine nanoparticle structural features on the light-matter interactions in nanocermet layers and corresponding cermet-based solar absorbers are still not well clear until now.Herein,we report a systematical investigation on the effects of W(tungsten)nanoparticle sizes,its concentrations and configurations in an alumina matrix on the optical responses of WeAl_(2)O_(3) nanocermet layers and a solar absorber with double-cermet layers.It is found that to possess admirable light absorption features at high temperatures,it is better to maintain the fine particle size of less than 10 nm,isolated states and suitable separations between them for WeAl_(2)O_(3) nanocermets.Thus,the dominated intrinsic absorption of W NPs,their plasmonic excitation and coupling effects among each other all contribute significantly to the broadband optical performance of the cermet layers and the whole absorber.More importantly,this study demonstrates a valuable criterion for maintaining optical performances of nanocermet layers and cermet-based solar absorbers under heating and thus their thermal robustness.Xiaoyu Wang Houjin He Junhua Gao Haibo Hu Shiwei Tang Xiaoyun Li Xiuhong Li Hongtao Cao 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,5:0

18Studies on culture condition of new marine bacterium Zooshikella sp. SY01显示文摘New marine bacterium Zooshikella sp.SY01,producer of prodigiosin,was isolated from the seawaters of Sanya Bay.The culture conditions of this bacterium were investigated.Zooshikella sp.SY01 was cultured in 2216E media which contained tryptophan,histidine,lac-tonic acid,camphor,limonene,casein,diphenyl guani-dine,coumarin and 1,3-dinitrobenzene,respectively.After 5 days cultivation,the extracts of different culture broths were detected by direct infusion mass spectroscopy using positive ESI mode.As the results,tryptophan,his-tidine and casein didn't show any observable influences on the biosynthesis of prodigiosin.Lactonic acid,camphor,limonene,diphenyl guanidine,coumarin could inhibit the bacterium growth and prodigiosin biosynthesis to a cer-tain extent,slower the culture broth to turn red.However,1,3-dinitrobenzene inhibited the bacteria to produce pro-digiosin completely.MS data suggested that various metabolites with chemodiversity were produced in differ-ent culture media.In particular,a series of high-molecu-lar-weight compounds with high relative abundances were observed in the medium containing limonene.To further optimize the culture condition,more new prodigiosin ana-logues and lead compounds can be obtained and the goal of'one strain-many compounds'can be achieved.Wenjian LAN Linfeng MO Chuanghua CAI Yipin ZHOU Junhua YAO Houjin LI 2008Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2008,2,4:0
19Effects of pyridoxine on rat testes by means of Sertoli-germ cell co-culture system in vitro显示文摘Objective To investigate the effects of pyridoxine on rat testis in vitro. Method an in vitro system of Sertoli germ cell co culture was applied, the toxic effects of pyridoxine at different concentrations an exposed duration were observed. Results The detachment of germ cells from sertoli cells showed marked dose response and time response relationships with the exposure of pyridoxine. Meanwhile, the characteristic of loosing and ratracting skeleton in the Sertoli cells was found. 20Ultrasound Computed Tomography of Knee Joint显示文摘Ultrasound computed tomography(UCT)is considered to have great potential for the early diagnosis of knee joint injuries.Combining prior knowledge and sound speeds of tissues,UCT can diagnose a variety of symptoms and the extent of tissue lesion.However,no existing studies can reconstruct the sound speed distributions of knee joints in UCT.Therefore,in this study,sound speed distributions of knee joints are reconstructed to provide an imaging basis for the formulation of a treatment plan.In addition,Full waveform inversion(FWI)methods are utilized to estimate highresolution images.However,for media with large variations in sound speeds,traditional FWI methods may lead to a cycle-skipping phenomenon and incorrect convergence direction.Hence,this study proposes a multi-centerfrequency source based FWI method to overcome the above limitations.A penalized least-squares optimization problem is constructed to obtain a numerical solution of the sound speed distribution.Computer simulations are conducted to prove the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.Furthermore,the reasons for selecting the center frequencies of sources are analyzed.Two numerical knee joint phantoms are used to evaluate the performance.The results suggest that the biases of the reconstructed images are less than 1% under a 5% noise condition.LI Ruijing CHEN Houjin PENG Yahui LI Jupeng LI Yanfeng 2020Chinese Journal of Electronics2020,29,4:0
