The influence of pore structure on P-& S-wave velocities in complex carbonate reservoirs with secondary storage space显示文摘Secondary storage spaces with very complex geometries are well developed in Ordovician carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin, which is taken as a study case in this paper. It is still not clear how the secondary storage space shape influences the P-& S-wave velocities (or elastic properties) in complex carbonate reservoirs. In this paper, three classical rock physics models (Wyllie timeaverage equation,Gassmann equation and the Kuster-Toks z model) are comparably analyzed for their construction principles and actual velocity prediction results, aiming at determining the most favourable rock physics model to consider the influence of secondary storage space shape. Then relationships between the P-& S-wave velocities in carbonate reservoirs and geometric shapes of secondary storage spaces are discussed from different aspects based on actual well data by employing the favourable rock physics model. To explain the influence of secondary storage space shape on V P-V S relationship,it is analyzed for the differences of S-wave velocities between derived from common empirical relationships (including Castagna's mud rock line and Greenberg-Castagna V P-V S relationship) and predicted by the rock physics model. We advocate that V P-V S relationship for complex carbonate reservoirs should be built for different storage space types. For the carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin, the V P-V S relationships for fractured,fractured-cavernous,and fractured-hole-vuggy reservoirs are respectively built on the basis of velocity prediction and secondary storage space type determination.Through the discussion above,it is expected that the velocity prediction and the V P-V S relationships for complex carbonate reservoirs should fully consider the influence of secondary storage space shape, thus providing more reasonable constraints for prestack inversion, further building a foundation for realizing carbonate reservoir prediction and fluid prediction.Wang Haiyang Sam Zandong Sun Yang Haijun Gao Hongliang Xiao Youjun Hu Hongru 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,4:10
A new method of formation evaluation for fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs:A case study from the Lundong area,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin are characterized by low matrix-porosity,heterogeneity and anisotropy, which make it difficult to predict and evaluate these reservoirs. The reservoir formations in Lundong area experienced a series of diagenesis and tectonic evolution stages. And secondary storage spaces such as fractures and dissolution caves were developed while nearly all the primary pores have disappeared.Based on a summary of different types of storage spaces and their responses in conventional logs,FMI and full waveform sonic logs which are sensitive to different reservoirs, the comprehensive probability index (CPI) method is applied to evaluating the reservoirs and a standard of reservoir classification is established.By comparing the evaluation results with actual welllogging results, the method has proven to be practical for formation evaluation of carbonate reservoirs, especially for the fractured carbonate reservoirs. In reservoir fluid identification, the multivariate stepwise discriminant analysis (MSDA) method is introduced.Combining the CPI method and MSDA method, comprehensive formation evaluation has been performed for fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin.Additionally,on the basis of secondary pore inversion results, another new method of formation evaluation is also proposed in the discussion part of this paper.Through detailed application result analysis, the method shows a promising capability for formation evaluation of complex carbonate reservoirs dominated by various secondary pores such as holes, caves, and cracks.Yang Haijun Sam Zandong Sun Cai Lulu Xiao Youjun WangHaiyang Luo Chunshu Hu Hongru 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,4:7
On theory and methods for advanced detonation-driven hypervelocity shock tunnels显示文摘This study describes theory and methods for developing detonation-driven shock tunnels in hypervelocity test facilities. The primary concept and equations for high-enthalpy shock tunnels are presented first to demonstrate the unique advantage of shock tubes for aerodynamic ground-based testing. Then, the difficulties in simulating flight conditions in hypervelocity shock tunnels are identified, and discussed in detail to address critical issues underlying these difficulties.Theory and methods for developing detonation drivers are proposed, and relevant progress that has advanced the state of the art in large-scale hypersonic test facilities is presented with experimental verifications. Finally, tailored conditions for detonation-driven shock tunnels are described, laying a solid foundation to achieve long test duration. This interface-matching key issue encountered in developing shock tunnels has been investigated for decades, but not solved for detonation drivers in engineering applications.Zonglin Jiang Jinping Li Zongmin Hu Yunfeng Liu Hongru Yu 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:6
LIN28 coordinately promotes nucleolar/ribosomal functions and represses the 2C-like transcriptional program in pluripotent stem cells显示文摘LIN28 is an RNA binding protein with important roles in early embryo development, stem cell differentiation/re-programming,tumorigenesis and metabolism.Previous studies have focused mainly on its role in the cytosol where it interacts with Let-7 microRNA precursors or mRNAs,and few have addressed LIN28's role within the nucleus. Here,we show that LIN28 displays dynamic temporal and spatial expression during murine embryo development.Maternal LIN28 expression drops upon exit from the 2-cell stage, and zygotic LIN28 protein is induced at the forming nucleolus during 4-cell to blas-tocyst stage development,to become dominantly expressed in the cytosol after implantation. In cultured pluripotent stem cells(PSCs),loss of LIN28 led to nucleolar stress and activation of a 2-cell/4-cell-like transcriptional program characterized by the expression of endogenous retrovirus genes.Mechanistically,LIN28 binds to small nucleolar RNAs and rRNA to maintain nucleolar integrity, and its loss leads to nucleolar phase separation defects, ribosomal stress and activation of P53 which in turn binds to and activates 2C transcription factor Dux.LIN28 also resides in a complex containing the nucleolar factor Nucleolin(NCL)and the transcrip-tional repressor TRIM28,and LIN28 loss leads to reduced occupancy of the NCL/TRIM28 complex on the Dux and rDNA loci, and thus de-repressed Dux and reduced rRNA expression.Lin28 knockout cells with nucleolar stress are more likely to assume a slowly cycling, translationally inert and anabolically inactive state, which is a part of previously unappreciated 2C-like transcriptional program. These findings elucidate novel roles for nucleolar LIN28 in PSCs,and a new mechanism linking 2C program and nucleolar functions in PSCs and early embryo development.Zhen Sun Hua Yu Jing Zhao Tianyu Tan Hongru Pan Yuqing Zhu Lang Chen Cheng Zhang Li Zhang Anhua Lei Yuyan Xu Xianju Bi Xin Huang Bo Gao Longfei Wang Cristina Correia Ming Chen Qiming Sun Yu Feng Li Shen Hao Wu Jianlong Wang Xiaohua Shen George Q.Daley Hu Li Jin Zhang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,7:4
A super pan-genomic landscape of rice显示文摘Pan-genomes from large natural populations can capture genetic diversity and reveal genomic complexity.Using de novo longread assembly,we generated a graph-based super pan-genome of rice consisting of a 251-accession panel comprising both cultivated and wild species of Asian and African rice. Our pan-genome reveals extensive structural variations(SVs)and gene presence/absence variations.Additionally, our pan-genome enables the accurate identification of nucleotide-binding leucine-rich repeat genes and characterization of their inter-and intraspecific diversity. Moreover,we uncovered grain weight-associated SVs which specify traits by affecting the expression of their nearby genes. We characterized genetic variants associated with submergence tolerance, seed shattering and plant architecture and found independent selection for a common set of genes that drove adaptation and domestication in Asian and African rice. This super pan-genome facilitates pinpointing of lineage-specific haplotypes for trait-associated genes and provides insights into the evolutionary events that have shaped the genomic architecture of various rice species.Lianguang Shang Xiaoxia Li Huiying He Qiaoling Yuan Yanni Song Zhaoran Wei Hai Lin Min Hu Fengli Zhao Chao Zhang Yuhua Li Hongsheng Gao Tianyi Wang Xiangpei Liu Hong Zhang Ya Zhang Shuaimin Cao Xiaoman Yu Bintao Zhang Yong Zhang Yiqing Tan Mao Qin Cheng Ai Yingxue Yang Bin Zhang Zhiqiang Hu Hongru Wang Yang Lv Yuexing Wang Jie Ma Quan Wang Hongwei Lu Zhe Wu Shanlin Liu Zongyi Sun Hongliang Zhang Longbiao Guo Zichao Li Yongfeng Zhou Jiayang Li Zuofeng Zhu Guosheng Xiong Jue Ruan Qian Qian 2022Cell Research2022,32,10:3
Field effect transistor-based tactile sensors: From sensor configurations to advanced applications显示文摘The past several decades have witnessed great progress in high-performance field effect transistors(FET)as one of the most important electronic compo-nents.At the same time, due to their intrinsic advantages, such as multiparameter accessibility, excellent electric signal amplification function, and ease of large-scale manufacturing,FET as tactile sensors for flexible wear-able devices, artificial intelligence,Internet of Things, and other fields to per-ceive external stimuli has also attracted great attention and become a significant field of general concern.More importantly,FET has a unique three-terminal structure, which enables its different components to detect external mechanics through different sensing mechanisms. On one hand,it provides an important platform to shed deep insights into the underlying mechanisms of the tactile sensors. On the other hand, these properties could in turn endow excellent components for the construction of tactile matrix sensor arrays with high quality. With special emphasis on the configuration of FETs,this review classified and summarized structure-optimized FET tactile sensors with gate, dielectric layer, semiconductor layer, and source/drain electrodes as sensing active components, respectively. The working principles and the state-of-the-art protocols in terms of high-performance tactile sensors are detail discussed and highlighted, the innovative pixel distribution and integration analysis of the transistor sensor matrix array concerning flexible electronics are also intro-duced.We hope that the introduction of this review can provide some inspiration for future researchers to design and fabricate high-performance FET-based tactile sensor chips for flexible electronics and other fields.Jian Wang Shuyan Xu Congcong Zhang Ailing Yin Mingyuan Sun Hongru Yang Chenguo Hu Hong Liu 2023InfoMat2023,5,1:0
Transcription-wide impact by RESCUE-induced off-target single-nucleotide variants in mammalian cells显示文摘RNA base editing is a promising tool in precise molecular therapy. Currently, there are two widely used RNA base editors, REPAIRand RESCUE. REPAIR only facilitates A-to-I conversions, while RESCUE performs both A-to-I and C-to-U conversions. Thus, RESCUEcan generate twice the number of mutations compared to REPAIR. However, transcription-wide impact due to RESCUE-induced offtarget single-nucleotide variants (SNVs) is not fully appreciated. Therefore, to determine the off-target effects of RESCUE-mediatedediting, we employed transcription-wide sequencing on cells edited by RESCUE. The SNVs showed different off-target effects onmRNA, circRNA, lncRNA, and miRNA expression patterns and their interacting networks. Our results illustrate the transcriptionwide impact of RESCUE-induced off-target SNVs and highlight the need for careful characterization of the off-target impact by thisediting platform.Guo Li Xiaoning Zhu Yihan Wang Hongru Ma Yuzhe Wang Hanyu Wu Xiangyang Li Yiling Wang Jianen Gao Xuexin Chen Xingxu Huang Yuan Yao Xiaoxiang Hu 2023Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2023,15,2:0

Distinct but correct:generating diversified and entity-revised medical response显示文摘Medical dialogue generation(MDG)is applied for building medical dialogue systems for intelligent consultation.Such systems can communicate with patients in real time, thereby improving the efficiency of clinical diagnosis. However, predicting correct entities and correctly generating distinct responses remain a great challenge.Inspired by actual doctors'responses to patients,we consider MDG a two-stage task:entity prediction and dialogue generation. For entity prediction,we design an ent-mac post pre-training strategy by leveraging external medical entity knowledge to enhance the pre-trained model. For dialogue generation,we propose an entity-aware fusion MDG method in which predicted entities are integrated into the dialogue generation model through different encoding fusion mechanisms, using information from different sources.Because the diverse beam search algorithm can produce responses with entities that deviate from the predicted entities,an entity-revised diverse beam search is proposed to correct the entities entailed in the generated responses and make the generated responses more distinct. The experimental results on the China Conference on Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing 2021(A/B tests)and the International Conference on Learning Representations 2021(online test)datasets show that the proposed method outperforms several state-of-the-art methods, which demonstrates its practicability and effectiveness.Bin LI Bin SUN Shutao LI Encheng CHEN Hongru LIU Yixuan WENG Yongping BAI Meiling HU 2024Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,3:0
