细胞因子诱导的的杀伤细胞(CIKS)联合肝动脉化疗栓塞治疗原发性肝癌的Meta分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of cytokine-induced killer(CIK) cell combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) therapy in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) on CIK cells combination with TACE based-therapy were identified by electronic searches in the Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, Pubmed, Wanfang, VIP, CNKI and other electronic databases. We included any RCTs evaluating CIK cell combination with TACE for the treatment of hepatocellular cancers. The quality of RCTs meeting inclusion criteria was evaluated and data on short-term and long-term curative effects, quality of life, liver function and immunologic function were extracted. For quantitative data, we conducted meta-analysis with ReMan 5.1 software and the GRADE System was used to rate the level of evidence and strength of recommendation. For qualitative data, data mainly adopted descriptive methods. Results: The 9 RCTs involving 870 cases meeting the inclusion criteria were included. The meta-analysis showed significant survival benefit on 0.5-year survival rate(RR = 1.51, 95% CI, 1.35-1.69, P < 0.00001) in favor of CIK based therapy. This effect was consistent at other prospective dates, including 1-year survival rate(RR = 2.30, 95%CI, 1.94-2.72, P < 0.00001), 2-year survival rate(RR = 7.03, 95% CI, 3.83-12.91, P < 0.0001). Meanwhile, the CIK-based group also demonstrated a significantly prolonged time-to-progression(TTP)(SD = 1.62, 95% CI, 1.30-1.94, P < 0.0001) and overall survival(OS)(SD = 20.6, 95% CI, 20.2-21.18, P < 0.0001). Moreover, a favored response rate(RR = CR + PR)(RR =2, 95% CI, 1.65-2.43, P < 0.00001) and the quality of life improvement rate(KPS)(RR = 1.76, 95% CI, 1.26-2.45, P = 0.0008)were also observed in patients receiving CIK cells and TACE therapy. Furthermore, patients in the CIK group showed lower AFP(SD = -165.23, 95% CI, -178.51 - -151.94, P < 0.00001), ALT(SD = -33.14, 95% CI, -40.30 - -36.37, P < 0.00001),and AST(SD = -15.57, 95% CI, -17.05 - -14.09, P < 0.00001) levels. In terms of T-lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood, the analysis also showed the percentage of CD3+, CD4+ cells and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ cells in the CIK group increased compared with the non-CIK group. Based on GRADE, the level of evidence was GRADE 2C, and the strength of recommendation was 2. Conclusion: CIK cells combined with TACE therapy demonstrated a significant superiority in improving recent and forward curative effects, immunity function, quality of life and liver function of HCC patients. Based on GRADE, the level of evidence was GRADE 2C, and the strength of recommendation was 2. In the light of the limitations of this study, large-scale,high-quality clinical trials should be carried out to further confirmed the above conclusion. | Biao Chen Ximing Xu Miao Xiang Jiao Yang Tingting Yu Yi Hu | 2013 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2013,12,10: | 1
Selective partial salivary glands sparing during intensity-modulated radiation therapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma显示文摘Objective This study evaluated the dosimetric consequences of selective partial salivary gland sparing during intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT) for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Methods Ten patients with NPC were enrolled in the study. Two IMRT plans were produced for each patient:conventional(control) and partial salivary glands-sparing(treatment),with dose constraints to the entire parotid glands or partial salivary glands(including the parotid and submandibular glands, delineated with the adjacent distance of at least 0.5 cm between the glands and PTV,the planning target volume) in planning, respectively.Dosimetric parameters were compared between the two plans, including the V_(110%),V_(100%),V_(95%)(the volume covered by more than 110%,100%,or 95% of the prescribed dose),Dmin(the minimum dose) of PTV,homogeneity index(HI),conformity index(CI),and the mean dose and percentage of the volume receiving 30 Gy or more(V_(30)) for the parotid glands and submandibular glands. Results Treatment plans had significantly lower mean doses and V_(30) to both the entire parotid glands and partial parotid glands than those in control plans. The mean doses to the partial submandibular glands were also significantly lower in treatment plans than in control plans. The PTV coverage was comparable between the two plans,as indicated by V_(100%),V_(95%),Dmin,CI,and HI.The doses to critical structures, including brainstem and spinal cord, were slightly but not significantly higher in treatment plans than in control plans. Conclusion A selective partial salivary gland-sparing approach reduces the doses to parotid and submandibular glands during IMRT,which may decrease the risk of post-radiation xerostomia while not compromising target dose coverage in patients with NPC. | Guangjin Yuan Qianwen Li Shixian Chen Chengwei Zheng Jiang Tang Jiang Hu Ximing Xu | 2017 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2017,3,2: | 1

Dosimetric consequences of tumor volume changes after kilovoltage cone-beam computed tomography for non-operative lung cancer during adaptive intensity-modulated radiotherapy or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to investigate tumor volume changes with kilovoltage cone-beam computed tomography(k V-CBCT) and their dosimetric consequences for non-operative lung cancer during intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT) or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy. Methods Eighteen patients with non-operative lung cancer who received IMRT consisting of 1.8–2.2 Gy/fraction and five fractions per week or stereotactic radiotherapy with 5–8 Gy/fraction and three fractions a week were studied. k V-CBCT was performed once per week during IMRT and at every fraction during stereotactic radiotherapy. The gross tumor volume(GTV) was contoured on the k V-CBCT images, and adaptive treatment plans were created using merged k V-CBCT and primary planning computed tomography image sets. Tumor volume changes and dosimetric parameters, including the minimum dose to 95%(D95) or 1%(D1) of the planning target volume(PTV),mean lung dose(MLD),and volume of lung tissue that received more than 5(V5),10(V10),20(V20),and 30(V30) Gy were retrospectively analyzed. Results The average maximum change in GTV observed during IMRT or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy was –25.85%(range,–13.09% ––56.76%). The D95 and D1 of PTV for the adaptive treatment plans in all patients were not significantly different from those for the initial or former adaptive treatment plans. In patients with tumor volume changes of >20% in the third or fourth week of treatment during IMRT,adaptive treatment plans offered clinically meaningful decreases in MLD and V5,V10,V20,and V30; however,in patients with tumor volume changes of < 20% in the third or fourth week of treatment as well as in patients with stereotactic radiotherapy, there were no significant or clinically meaningful decreases in the dosimetric parameters. Conclusion Adaptive treatment planning for decreasing tumor volume during IMRT may be beneficial for patients who experience tumor volume changes of >20% in the third or fourth week of treatment. | Jian Hu Ximing Xu Guangjin Yuan Wei Ge Liming Xu Aihua Zhang Junjian Deng | 2015 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2015,1,5: | 0
DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SINGLE-BUFFERED ROUTERS显示文摘A Single-Buffered (SB) router is a router where only one stage of shared buffering is sand- wiched between two interconnects in comparison of a Combined Input and Output Queued (CIOQ) router where a central switch fabric is sandwiched between two stages of buffering. The notion of SB routers was firstly proposed by the High-Performance Networking Group (HPNG) of Stanford Uni- versity, along with two promising designs of SB routers: one of which was Parallel Shared Memory (PSM) router and the other was Distributed Shared Memory (DSM) router. Admittedly, the work of HPNG deserved full credit, but all results presented by them appeared to relay on a Centralized Memory Management Algorithm (CMMA) which was essentially impractical because of the high processing and communication complexity. This paper attempts to make a scalable high-speed SB router completely practical by introducing a fully distributed architecture for managing the shared memory of SB routers. The resulting SB router is called as a Virtual Output and Input Queued (VOIQ) router. Furthermore, the scheme of VOIQ routers can not only eliminate the need for the CMMA scheduler, thus allowing a fully distributed implementation with low processing and commu- nication complexity, but also provide QoS guarantees and efficiently support variable-length packets in this paper. In particular, the results of performance testing and the hardware implementation of our VOIQ-based router (NDSC? SR1880-T? series) are illustrated at the end of this paper. The pro- posal of this paper is the first distributed scheme of how to design and implement SB routers publi- cized till now. | Hu Ximing Qu Jing Wang Binqiang Wu Jiangxing | 2007 | Journal of Electronics(China)2007,24,4: | 0
Inorganic imaging nanoprobes for breast cancer diagnosis显示文摘Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers worldwide, and early diagnosis and screening are vital to its successful treatment.Although medical imaging methods can assist in the early detection of breast cancer, imaging methods that are currently used for clinical diagnosis have drawbacks, such as low sensitivity and accuracy.Contrast agents are often used in diagnostic imaging to address these drawbacks.Nanocontrast agents have attracted considerable attention in recent years due to their unique physicochemical characteristics.Among these agents, inorganic nanoprobes have been substantially developed through improvements in synthesis techniques and pairings with other organic molecules. This paper mainly summarizes the specific applications of inorganic nanoprobes in the magnetic resonance imaging, fluorescence imaging, radionuclide imaging, and bimodal/multimodal imaging of breast cancer. | Qi Guo Maosen Hong Tong Wu Lei Chen Guangxin Duan Jianfeng Zeng Ximing Wang Ling Wen Chunhong Hu | 2023 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2023,4,2: | 0
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors gama ameliorates liver fibrosis in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by inhibiting TGF-β/Smad signaling activation显示文摘Background:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a chronic condition characterized by a progressive decline in liver function, leading to disruptions in liver integrity and metabolic function, resulting in lipid deposition and excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix(ECM).The pathogenesis of NAFLD is complex and not yet fully understood, contributing to the absence of specific therapeutic strategies.Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPARγ)is a ligand-activated transcription factor pivotal in regulating lipid and glucose metabolism. However, the impacts of PPARγon NAFLD remains insufficiently explored. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the role of PPARγin NAFLD and its underlying molecular mechanisms. Methods:Chemical detection kits were utilized to quantify collagen content, alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)level variations.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was employed to assess alterations in extracellular matrix-related genes and inflammatory response genes in liver tissue and HepG2 cells, while western blotting was conducted to analyze the levels of both PPARγand the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway. Results:Our findings unveiled significantly reduced PPARγexpression in a rat model of NAFLD,leading to subsequent activation of the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway.Furthermore,PPARγactivation effectively mitigated NAFLD progression by inhibiting inflammation and fibrosis-related gene expression and collagen production. On a cellular level,PPARγactivation was found to inhibit the expression of extracellular matrix-related genes such as matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)and matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP9),along with inflammatory response genes interleukin(IL)-1βand IL-6.Additionally,PPARγactivation led to a significant decrease in the levels of ALT and AST.At the molecular level,PPARγnotably down-regulated the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway, which is known to promote liver fibrosis. Conclusion:These groundbreaking findings underscore PPARγactivation as a promising therapeutic approach to delay NAFLD progression by targeting the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway in hepatic cells. This highlights the potential of PPARγas a promising therapeutic target for NAFLD management in clinical settings. | Qingwei Zhang Wenjie Zhao Zeqi Sun Xinxin Dong Liwei Zhu Zhen Zhang Ximing Chen Yingying Hu Menghan Du Jiamin Li Yong Zhang | 2024 | Frigid Zone Medicine2024,4,1: | 0
Cooperative catalysis of Co single atoms and nanoparticles enables selective CAr-OCH_(3) cleavage for sustainable production of lignin-based cyclohexanols显示文摘In this work,a dual-size MOF-derived Co catalyst(0.2Co_(1-NPs)@NC)composed of single atoms(Co_(1))and highly dispersed nanoparticles(Co NPs)was prepared by in-situ Zn evaporation for the highperformance conversion of lignin-derived o-methoxyphenols(lignin oil)to cyclohexanols(up to 97%yield)via cascade demethoxylation and dearomatization.Theoretical calculations elaborated that the dual-size Co catalyst exhibited a cooperative effect in the selective demethoxylation process,in which the Co NPs could initially dissociate hydrogen at lower energies while Co1remarkably facilitated the cleavage of the C_(Ar)-OCH_(3)bond.Moreover,the intramolecular hydrogen bonds formed in the omethoxy-containing phenols were found to result in a decrease in the bond energy of the C_(Ar)-OCH_(3)bond,which was more prone to be activated by the dual-size Co sites.Notably, the pre-hydrogenated intermediate(e.g.,2-methoxycyclohexanol from guaiacol)is difficult to undergo demethoxylation, indicating that the selective C_(Ar)-OCH_(3)bond cleavage is a prerequisite for the synthesis of cyclohexanols. The 0.2Co_(1-NPs)@NC catalyst was highly recyclable with a neglect decline in activity during five consecutive cycles. This cooperative catalytic strategy based on the metal size effect opens new avenues for biomass upgrading via enhanced C-O bond cleavage of high selectivity. | Baoyu Wang Peng Zhou Ximing Yan Hu Li Hongguo Wu Zehui Zhang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4: | 0
