| 1 | Tooth loss inhibits neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus of adult mice显示文摘Tooth loss has been shown to affect learning and memory in mice and increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease. The dentate gyrus is strongly associated with cognitive function. This study hypothesized that tooth loss affects neurons in the dentate gyrus. Adult male mice were randomly assigned to either the tooth loss group or normal control group. In the tooth loss group, the left maxillary and mandibular molars were extracted. Normal control mice did not receive any intervention. Immunofluorescence staining revealed that the density and absorbance of doublecortin- and neuronal nuclear antigen-positive cells were lower in the tooth loss group than in the normal control group. | 2 | Nanosecond photoelectric effects in all-oxide p-n junction of La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)MnO_(3)/SrNb_(0.01)Ti_(0.99)O_(3)显示文摘Nanosecond (ns) photoelectric effects have been observed in all-oxide p-n junctions of La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrNb0.01Ti0.99O3 for the first time. The rise time was about 23 ns and the full width at half maximum was about 125 ns for the open-circuit photovoltaic pulse when the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 thin film in the p-n junction was irradiated by a laser of ~20 ns pulse duration and 308 nm wavelength. | 7 | Colossal magnetoresistive p-n junctions of perovskite oxide La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)MnO_3/SrNb_(0.01)Ti_(0.99)O_3显示文摘We have successfully fabricated the colossal magnetoresistive (CMR) p-n junctions of perovskite oxide La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrNb0.01Ti0.99O3 (LSMO/SNTO) with laser molecular beam epitaxy. The I-V characteristics of the LSMO/SNTO p-n junctions as a function of applied magnetic field (05 T) were studied between 100 and 300 K. We found that the p-n junction exhibited the CMR behavior. The CMR ratio rR/R0 (rR = RH - R0) is positive in magnetic fields below 0.13 T and at high temperature, while it displays a negative CMR near 100 K and in magnetic fields over 0.13 T. The CMR ratio values are 8% at 0.1 T and 13% at 5 T and 300 K, 40% at 0.1 T and 150 K, 10% at 0.13 T and 60% at 5 T and 100 K. | 10 | The selective deposition of Fe species inside ZSM-5 for the oxidation of cyclohexane to cyclohexanone显示文摘The design of efficient iron-based catalysts remains a great challenge for selective cyclohexane oxidation to cyclohexanone under mild conditions.Because of the complex distribution of iron location on the support,the selectivity is always low.Here,we report a general strategy to selectively deposit highly-dispersed FeO_(x) into the micropore of ZSM-5 by atomic layer deposition(ALD).The framework of ZSM-5 and the Bronsted acid sites are intact during ALD,and the Fe species are selectively deposited onto the defect and Lewis acid sites of ZSM-5.Besides,more Fe–O–Si bonds are formed over FeO_(x)/ZSM-5 with a low loading of Fe,while FeO_(x) nanoparticles are generated at high Fe loading.They cannot be realized by the traditional solution method.The obtained FeO_(x)/ZSM-5 catalysts perform high selectivity of cyclohexanone(92%–97%),and ALD cycle numbers of FeO_(x) control the activity.Compared with the Fe nanoparticles,the Fe–O–Si species performs higher turnover frequency and stability in the oxidation reaction. | Liming Zhai Bin Zhang Haojie Liang Huibin Wu Xinchun Yang Gen Luo Shichao Zhao Yong Qin | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,7: | 2 |
| 11 | Assessment of Serum PRL,MLT,TSH,FSH and LH Concentrations in the Goat (Capra hircus) Exposing to Different Photoperiod Regimes显示文摘In many seasonally breeding species,photoperiod is an important factor involved in reproduction. Capra hircus breeds are normally considered short-day breeders. An experiment was carried out to evaluate whether or not photoperiodic regimens influence circulating hormone levels( prolactin,melatonin,thyrotropin stimulating hormine,luteinizing hormone,follicle stimulating hormone) of Henan huai local goat exposing to different photoperiodic regimens. The results showed that plasma levels of prolactin,melatonin,thyrotropin stimulating hormine,luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone were higher in the 8 L∶ 16 D photoperiodic regimen than that in the 16 L∶ 8 D photoperiodic regimen. Levels of those hormones decreased on day 7 and day 28 when the 16 L∶ 8 D photoperiodic regimen was used continuously. It was concluded that serum concentrations of the hormones increased in summer when short day( 8 L∶ 16 D) was used and decreased when the goats were transferred from short day for 42 d to long day exposure for 28 d. We suggest that in summer,levels of hormones changing may be due to short day animals. Changing of related hormones is still determined by the mechanism of internal regulation of short day animal's exposure to light changes. | 12 | Longitudinal follow-up survey of effects of oral health education on ECC显示文摘Objective To investigate the effect of oral comprehensive health care measures on the prevalence of early childhood caries in urban areas of China.Methods A total of 345 children aged 4 to 5 years old in Qingdao city were recruited for a year to conduct a single blind randomized controlled clinical trial. The children from four different kindergartens were included in the study. They were randomly divided into an experimental group(160 children) and a control group(185 children). The experimental group received oral health examination, while the children in the control group received oral health examination only.
