1Recent progress in tumor photodynamic immunotherapy显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is a promising alternative approach for effective cancer treatment,which can directly destroy local tumor cells due to the generation of cytotoxic singlet oxygen and reactive oxygen species(ROS)in the tumor cells.Intriguingly,PDT-mediated cell death is also associated with anti-tumor immune response.Howeve r,immunosuppre s sion of tumor microe nvironment is able to limit the immune response induced by PDT,it is therefore necessary to combine with immunocheckpoint inhibitor and immunoadjuvant for synergistic treatment of tumors.Herein,the recent advances of PDT,immunotherapy,and photodynamic immunotherapy are reviewed.Lijun Shen Tianjiao Zhou Yatong Fan Xin Chang Yi Wang Jianguo Sun Lei Xing Hulin Jiang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7:2
2Progress in drug delivery system for fibrosis therapy显示文摘Fibrosis is a necessary process in the progression of chronic disease to cirrhosis or even cancer,which is a serious disease threatening human health.Recent studies have shown that the early treatment of fibrosis is turning point and particularly important.Therefore,how to reverse fibrosis has become the focus and research hotspot in recent years.So far,the considerable progress has been made in the development of effective anti-fibrosis drugs and targeted drug delivery.Moreover,the existing research results will lay the foundation for more breakthrough delivery systems to achieve better anti-fibrosis effects.Herein,this review summaries anti-fibrosis delivery systems focused on three major organ fibrotic diseases such as liver,pulmonary,and renal fibrosis accompanied by the elaboration of relevant pathological mechanisms,which will provide inspiration and guidance for the design of fibrosis drugs and therapeutic systems in the future.Lei Xing Xin Chang Lijun Shen Chenglu Zhang Yatong Fan Chongsu Cho Zhiqi Zhang Hulin Jiang 2021Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2021,16,1:2
3Discovery of a first-in-class ANXA3 degrader for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is a nasty disease with extremely high malignancy and poor prognosis.Annexin A3(ANXA3)is a potential prognosis biomarker,displaying an excellent correlation of ANXA3 overexpression with patients'poor prognosis.Silencing the expression of ANXA3effectively inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of TNBC,suggesting that ANXA3 can be a promising therapeutic target to treat TNBC.Herein,we report a first-in-class ANXA3-targeted small molecule(R)-SL18,which demonstrated excellent anti-proliferative and anti-invasive activities to TNBC cells.(R)-SL18 directly bound to ANXA3 and increased its ubiquitination,thereby inducing ANXA3 degradation with moderate family selectivity.Importantly,(R)-SL18 showed a safe and effective therapeutic potency in a high ANXA3-expressing TNBC patient-derived xenograft model.Furthermore,(R)-SL18 could reduce theβ-catenin level,and accordingly inhibit the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in TNBC cells.Collectively,our data suggested that targeting degradation of ANXA3 by(R)-SL18 possesses the potential to treat TNBC.Yongxi Liang Delin Min Hulin Fan Kunlin Liu Juchuanli Tu Xueyan He Bingjie Liu Lu Zhou Suling Liu Xun Sun 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4:0
