1Fatigue behavior of Ti-6Al-4V cellular structures fabricated by additive manufacturing technique显示文摘Porous titanium and its alloys have been considered as promising replacement for dense implants, as they possess low elastic modulus comparable to that of compact human bones and are capable of providing space for in-growth of bony tissues to achieve a better fixation. Recently, the additive manufacturing(AM) method has been successfully applied to the fabrication of Ti-6 Al-4 V cellular meshes and foams.Comparing to traditional fabrication methods, the AM method offers advantages of accurate control of complex cell shapes and internal pore architectures, thus attracting extensive attention. Considering the long-term safety in the human body, the metallic cellular structures should possess high fatigue strength.In this paper, the recent progress on the fatigue properties of Ti-6 Al-4 V cellular structures fabricated by the AM technique is reviewed. 5New edge detection method for high-resolution SAR images显示文摘A new edge detection method combining the scan ni ng window central edge (SWCE) detector and an improved active contour model is p roposed. The method first emploies the SWCE detector based on the difference of area pixel value means to perform an optimal edge detection, and then proposes an improved active contour model with modified energy functions to refine the lo cation of the edges. The initial nodes of the improved active contour model are automatically found from the vectorised results of the SWCE detector. 6Patterns of gas hydrate accumulation in mass transport deposits related to canyon activity: Example from Shenhu drilling area in the South China Sea显示文摘Since 2017, a plenty of gas hydrates have been drilled in a new area of Shenhu, and good heterogeneity has been found throughout the spatial distribution of the reservoir. After distinguishing different sedimentary sequence types and matching their formation with slope deposition settings, this study proposes three mass transport deposit(MTD) patterns related to canyon activity that occurred contemporaneously or epigenetically with it: well preserved MTDs, MTDs eroded by canyon migration, and MTDs dislocated by contemporaneous faults. Based on seismic reflection characteristics, this study proposed methods of quantitatively analyzing sedimentary factors,such as measuring the turbidities flow rate in the canyon, and results are interpreted with respect to canyon activity. Combining the above parameters and their relationship with gas hydrate accumulation, fine-grained seals overlapping coarse MTDs reservoirs are found to be indispensable to gas hydrate accumulation, as they prevent the release of free gas. Based on grain size data of hydrate samples from drilling wells, multi-layered gas hydrate reservoirs capped by fine-grained sediments and overlapping mud show favorable hydrate-bearing prospects. The release of gas hydrates, however, is mostly caused by the lack of mud sealing in relation to canyon activity, such as turbidities flow erosion and contemporaneous fault breaking. Canyon migration with respect to MTDs may be the actual cause of erosion of overlapping syn-sedimentary layers, and high bottom flows may contribute to an increase in the release of free gas. It is believed that contemporaneous faults caused by unstable canyon walls may break the muddy over layers and decrease the accumulation pressure of gas hydrate bearing.Thus, according to the sedimentary characteristics of MTDs and the hydrate accumulation process, three responding accumulation or releasing patterns are proposed, which respond to the different types of MTDs distinguished above: a well-preserved MTD accumulation pattern; a canyon migration eroded MTD release pattern; and a micro-contemporaneous fault dislocated MTD release pattern.Chao Fu Shengli Li Xinghe Yu Jinqiang Liang Zenggui Kuang Yulin He Lina Jin 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,5:3
7Super-harmonic resonance characteristic of a rigid-rotor ball bearing system caused by a single local defect in outer raceway显示文摘The studies on dynamics of a fault bearing system are prevalent in recent years, however, we are studying a completely different frequency range than the one where the bearing faults are best seen. Considering a local defect on outer raceway,a two-degree-of-freedom analytical model of a rigid-rotor ball bearing system is established. Three pulse force models are introduced to simulate the local defect. The frequency domain method—harmonic balance method with alternating frequency/time domain technique (HB-AFT) is used to calculate the response in a large frequency range. By comparing the performance at different frequencies, the fault systems with different defect models and parameters reveal the super-harmonic resonances,and the reasons for this phenomenon are uncovered as well. Finally, the theoretical calculation is verified qualitatively by the experimental results, through comparing the frequency spectrums of the defective bearing rotor system to the fault-free one.Therefore, the super-harmonic resonances can be regarded as a dynamic feature. 8Gold nanoparticle-directed autophagy intervention for antitumor immunotherapy via inhibiting tumor-associated macrophage M2 polarization显示文摘Tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs),one of the dominating constituents of tumor microenvironment,are important contributors to cancer progression and treatment resistance.Therefore,regulation of TAMs polarization from M2 phenotype towards M1 phenotype has emerged as a new strategy for tumor immunotherapy.Herein,we successfully initiated antitumor immunotherapy by inhibiting TAMs M2 polarization via autophagy intervention with polyethylene glycol-conjugated gold nanoparticles(PEG-Au NPs).PEG-Au NPs suppressed TAMs M2 polarization in both in vitro and in vivo models,elicited antitumor immunotherapy and inhibited subcutaneous tumor growth in mice.As demonstrated by the m RFP-GFP-LC3 assay and analyzing the autophagy-related proteins(LC3,beclin1 and P62),PEGAu NPs induced autophagic flux inhibition in TAMs,which is attributed to the PEG-Au NPs induced lysosome alkalization and membrane permeabilization.Besides,TAMs were prone to polarize towards M2phenotype following autophagy activation,whereas inhibition of autophagic flux could reduce the M2polarization of TAMs.Our results revealed a mechanism underlying PEG-Au NPs induced antitumor immunotherapy,where PEG-Au NPs reduce TAMs M2 polarization via induction of lysosome dysfunction and autophagic flux inhibition.This study elucidated the biological effects of nanomaterials on TAMs polarization and provided insight into harnessing the intrinsic immunomodulation capacity of nanomaterials for effective cancer treatment.Siyue Zhang Fangyuan Xie Kaichun Li He Zhang You Yin Yuan Yu Guangzhao Lu Shihao Zhang Yan Wei Ke Xu Yan Wu Hong Jin Lan Xiao Leilei Bao Can Xu Yulin Li Ying Lu Jie Gao 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,7:2
9Semi-crosslinked polyacrylamides as high-resolution and dynamic self-coating sieving matrices for protein capillary electrophoresis显示文摘This paper describes non-gel capillary sieving electrophoresis employing semi-crosslinked polyacrylamide as a high performance and low viscous replaceable separation matrix for separation of non-denatured protein separation. Arising from the fine sieving and dynamic coating ability of this polymer, a mixture of basic proteins lysozyme, cytochrome C, ribonuclease A, and trypsin was resolved with excellent reproducibility. Mixing different semi-crosslinked polyacrylamides together further improves the separation. The separtion mechanism was analyzed. 10NiCo_(2)S_(4)/N microspheres grown on N,S co-doped reduced graphene oxide as an efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for overall water splitting in alkaline and neutral pH显示文摘It is of vital importance to design efficient and low-cost bifunctional catalysts for the electrochemical water splitting under alkaline and neutral pH conditions.In this work,we report an efficient and stable NiCo_(2)S_(4)/N,S co-doped reduced graphene oxide(NCS/NS-rGO)electrocatalyst for water splitting,in which NCS microspheres are composed of one-dimentional(1D)nanorods grown homogeneously on the surface of NS-rGOs).The synergetic effect,abundant active sites,and hybridization of NCS/NS-rGO endow their outstanding electrocatalytic performance for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in both alkaline and neutral conditions.Furthermore,NCS/NS-rGO employed as both anode and cathode in a two-electrode alkaline and neutral system electrolyzers deliver 10 mA/cm^(2) with the low cell voltage of 1.58 V in alkaline and 1.91 V in neutral condition.These results illustrate the rational design of carbon-supported nickel-cobalt based bifunctional materials for practical water splitting over a wide pH range.Haoquan Li Long Chen Pengfei Jin Yafei Li Jianxiang Pang Juan Hou Shanglong Peng Gang Wang Yulin Shi 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

13A new nonlinear force model to replace the Hertzian contact model in a rigid-rotor ball bearing system显示文摘A new nonlinear force model based on experimental data is proposed to replace the classical Hertzian contact model to solve the fractional index nonlinearity in a ball bearing system. Firstly, the radial force and the radial deformation are measured by statics experiments, and the data are fitted respectively by using the Hertzian contact model and the cubic polynomial model. Then, the two models are compared with the approximation formula appearing in Aeroengine Design Manual. In consequence, the two models are equivalent in an allowable deformation range. After that, the relationship of contact force and contact deformation for single rolling element between the races is calculated based on statics equilibrium to obtain the two kinds of nonlinear dynamic models in a rigid-rotor ball bearing system. Finally, the displacement response and frequency spectrum for the two system models are compared quantitatively at different rotational speeds, and then the structures of frequency-amplitude curves over a wide speed range are compared qualitatively under different levels of radial clearance, amplitude of excitation,and mass of supporting rotor. 20The Applications of Order Reduction Methods in Nonlinear Dynamic Systems显示文摘Two different order reduction methods of the deterministic and stochastic systems are discussed in this paper.First,the transient proper orthogonal decomposition(T-POD)method is introduced based on the high-dimensional nonlinear dynamic system.The optimal order reduction conditions of the T-POD method are provided by analyzing the rotor-bearing system with pedestal looseness fault at both ends.The efficiency of the T-POD method is verified via comparing with the results of the original system.Second,the polynomial dimensional decomposition(PDD)method is applied to the 2 DOFs spring system considering the uncertain stiffness to study the amplitude-frequency response.The numerical results obtained by the PDD method agree well with the Monte Carlo simulation(MCS)method.The results of the PDD method can approximate to MCS better with the increasing of the polynomial order.Meanwhile,the Uniform-Legendre polynomials can eliminate perturbation of the PDD method to a certain extent via comparing it with the Gaussian-Hermite polynomials.Nan Wu Kuan Lu Yulin Jin Haopeng Zhang Yushu Chen 2020Sound & Vibration2020,54,2:1
