| 3 | Impacts of Social and Demographic Factors on Residents' Subjective Well-being in Rural China显示文摘The objective of social development is to construct a harmonious society.In China,the key to a harmonious society is the happiness of more than 900 million farmers living in the rural areas.This study aimed to measure rural residents' subjective well-being(SWB) through the day reconstruction method,as well as to analyze SWB's influencing factors through a variety of statistical methods.The results showed that the average U index was 12.79%,indicating that respondents were unhappy 12.79% of the time.Twenty-seven percent of the population had a U index greater than 0,with the average value being 47%,indicating that these people were unhappy 47% of the time.The study also found that SWB varied according to the characteristics of the respondents.Logistic regression analysis showed that social and demographic factors,including age,education,county,household size,generation number,per capita income,migration status and social networking,which significantly affected rural residents' SWB.The size of the impact varied with the different factors. | Wang Jian Meng Qingyue Winnie Yip Sun Qiang Qu Jiangbin Jia Liying | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2010,8,1: | 3 |
| 4 | Phylogenetic analysis and arsenate reduction effect of the arsenic-reducing bacteria enriched from contaminated soils at an abandoned smelter site显示文摘Microbial reduction of As(V)(i.e.,arsenate)plays an important role in arsenic(As)mobilization in aqueous environment.In this study,we investigated As(V)reduction characteristics of the bacteria enriched from the arsenic-contaminated soil at an abandoned smelter site.It was found that As(V)was completely reduced to As(III)(i.e.,arsenite)in 21 h.After 3-d incubation,a yellow solid was precipitated and the concentration of As(III)decreased sharply.After 150 h incubation,ca.65%of soluble arsenic was removed from the solution.The analysis of the precipitate by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer(SEM-EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD)revealed that the main component was crystalline arsenic sulfide(AsS).Microbial mediated reduction and mobilization of adsorbed As(V)on ferric hydroxide was also examined.In the microcosm slurry experiment,ca.53%of the adsorbed As(V)was reduced to As(III)by the bacteria,which resulted in an appreciable release of arsenic into aqueous phase.The released arsenic was present predominantly as As(III).The microbial diversity was analyzed by 16S rDNA-dependent molecular phylogeny.A near-full-length 16S rDNA gene clone library was constructed.The 197 clones were analyzed using RFLP(restriction fragment length polymorphism)and 72 OTUs were obtained,which contributed 51%of the content for total clone number in six OTUs.Six bacterial clones in these six OTUs were selected for sequencing and the sequenced clones were found to belong to the group Caloramator, Clostridium,and Bacillus. | ZHANG, Xuexia JIA, Yongfeng WANG, Xin XU, Liying | 2008 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,12: | 2 |

| 15 | Development of Steel Slag-Based Solidification/Stabilization Materials for High Moisture Content Soil显示文摘To solve the problems of high moisture content,high viscosity,and poor engineering mechanical properties of soil,this paper using with steel slag(SS)and desulfurization ash(DS)as initial raw materials,realizing the coop-erative treatment of solid waste and solidification of silt soil.The synergistic utilization of SS and DS can reduce the production cost of curing agent and promote its own consumption.According to blended cement of various SS contents and inspected compressive strength performances,the most suitable raw materials ratio was selected.The best formula for this curing agent is cement:steel slag=3:7 with 5%DS,and its 28-day compressive strength can reach 30 MPa.The experiment shows that the effect of DS and Na_(2)SO_(4) reagent with the same quality on early compressive strength improvement of cement and SS system is not much different.In this study,the mineral composition and microstructure of different gel system blocks were characterized by XRD,SEM and EDX,and a large number of webbed structures were found in the SEM test,which was not seen in previous studies.Besides,unconfined compressive strength(UCS),water resistance,and toxic characteristic leaching procedure(TCLP)were used to evaluate silt solidified soil properties.The results demonstrated that the solidified silt could meet not only the standard of general subgrade;but also has a partial stabilization effect of heavy metal ions. | Yu Jia Sudong Hua Liying Qian Xiaojian Ren Jie Zuo Yanfang Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,3: | 1 |

| 17 | Epigenome-wide DNA methylation study of whole blood in patients with sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis显示文摘Background:Epigenetics,and especially DNA methylation,contributes to the pathogenesis of sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(SALS).This study aimed to investigate the role of DNA methylation in SALS using whole blood of SALS patients.Methods::In total,32 SALS patients and 32 healthy controls were enrolled in this study.DNA was isolated from whole blood collected from the participants.DNA methylation profiles were generated using Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip.Results:We identified 34 significant differentially methylated positions(DMPs)in whole blood from SALS patients,compared with the healthy controls.Of these DMPs,five were hypermethylated and 29 were hypomethylated;they corresponded to 13 genes.For the DMPs,ATAD3B and BLK were hypermethylated,whereas DDO,IQCE,ABCB1,DNAH9,FIGN,NRP1,TMEM87B,CCSAP,ST6GALNAC5,MYOM2,and RUSC1-AS1 were hypomethylated.We also identified 12 differentially methylated regions(DMRs),related to 12 genes(NWD1,LDHD,CIS,IQCE,TNF,PDE1C,LGALS1,CSNK1E,LRRC23,ENO2,ELOVL2,and ELOVL2-AS1).According to data from the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes database,DNAH9 and TNF are involved in the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)pathway.Correlation analysis between clinical features and DNA methylation profiling indicated that the methylation level of ELOVL2 and ARID1B was positively associated with the age of onset(r=0.86,adjust P=0.001)and disease duration(r=0.83,adjust P=0.01),respectively.Conclusions:We found aberrant methylation in DMP-and DMR-related genes,implying that many epigenetic alterations,such as the hypomethylation of DNAH9 and TNF,play important roles in ALS etiology.These findings can be helpful for developing new therapeutic interventions. | Zhengyi Cai Xinmiao Jia Mingsheng Liu Xunzhe Yang Liying Cui | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,12: | 1 |

| 19 | Impact of living donor liver with steatosis and idiopathic portal inflammation on clinical outcomes in pediatric liver transplantation:Beijing experience显示文摘Background:To evaluate the impact of steatosis and/or idiopathic portal inflammation(IPI)in living donor livers on recipients’clinical outcomes.Methods:We assessed 305 qualified donor liver samples from June 2013 to December 2018.Donors and recipients’clinical characteristics,including follow-up data were retrieved.The graft and overall survival with/without steatosis or portal inflammation were compared by Kaplan-Meier analysis.Results:For living donors,the medium age of was 31.2(28,35.8)years old;liver histopathology showed macrovesicular steatosis:0-5%264/305(86.6%)and 5-30%41/305(13.4%),IPI:no 220/305(72.1%)and mild 85/305(27.9%).For recipients,the medium age was 1.0(0.6,1.5)years old;the median pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score was 16(5.0,26.0)and medium follow-up time was 32.8(24.8,52.0)months.Biliary atresia(69.5%)was the main indication for liver transplantation(LT).Conclusions:The presence of steatosis and portal inflammation of the donor liver did not impact the clinical outcomes including transaminase or bilirubin normalization,short-/long-term complications and recipients’survival.However,recipients with high pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score(>16)receiving donor liver with portal inflammation,but not steatosis,had trend negative effect on recipients’survival.In conclusion,donor livers with mild steatosis and portal inflammation were qualified for pediatric living donor LT.However,donor liver with mild portal inflammation would better not be allocated to recipients with high pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score.This study provided new evidence in pediatric living donor liver allocation. | Xinyan Zhao Yafei He Jimin Liu Qian Zhang Liwei Liu Wei Qu Ying Liu Zhigui Zeng Haiming Zhang Jidong Jia Liying Sun Lin Wei Zhijun Zhu | 2022 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,3: | 1 |
