1Re–Os dating of molybdenite and in-situ Pb isotopes of sulfides from the Lamo Zn–Cu deposit in the Dachang tin-polymetallic ore field, Guangxi, China显示文摘The Dachang tin-polymetallic district, Guangxi,China, is one of the largest tin ore fields in the world. Both cassiterite-sulfide and Zn–Cu skarn mineralization are hosted in the Mid-Upper Devonian carbonate-rich sediments adjacent to the underlying Cretaceous Longxianggai granite(91–97 Ma). The Lamo Zn–Cu deposit is a typical skarn deposit in the district and occurs at the contact zone between the Upper Devonian limestone and the granite.The ore minerals mainly consist of sphalerite, arsenopyrite,pyrrhotite, galena, chalcopyrite, and minor molybdenite.However, the age of mineralization and source of the metals are not well constrained. In this study, we use the molybdenite Re–Os dating method and in-situ Pb isotopes of sulfides from the Lamo deposit for the first time in order to directly determine the age of mineralization and the tracing source of metals. Six molybdenite samples yielded a more accurate Re–Os isochron age of 90.0 ± 1.1 Ma(MSWD = 0.72), which is much younger than the reported garnet Sm–Nd isochron age of 95 ± 11 Ma and quartz fluid inclusions Rb–Sr isochron age of 99 ± 6 Ma. This age is also interpreted as the age of Zn–Cu skarn mineralization in the Dachang district. Further, in this study we found that in-situ Pb isotopes of sulfides from the Lamo deposit and feldspars in the district's biotite granite and granitic porphyry dikes have a narrow range and an overlap of Pb isotopic compositions(^(206) Pb/^(204) Pb =18.417–18.594,^(207) Pb/^(204) Pb = 15.641–15.746, and^(208) Pb/^(204) Pb = 38.791–39.073), suggesting that the metals were mainly sourced from Cretaceous granitic magma.Hai Zhao Wenchao Su Peng Xie Nengping Shen Jiali Cai Ming Luo Jie Li Zhian Bao 2018Acta Geochimica2018,37,3:11
2Comparison of Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Asymptomatic and Symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Children显示文摘To understand the epidemiological and clinical features of the symptomatic and asymptomatic pediatric cases of COVID-19,we carried out a prospective study in Shanghai during the period of January 19 to April 30,2020.A total of 49 children(mean age 11.5±5.12 years)confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 infection were enrolled in the study,including 11(22.4%)domestic cases and 38(77.6%)imported cases.Nine(81.8%)local cases and 12(31.6%)imported cases had a definitive epidemiological exposure.Twenty-eight(57.1%)were symptomatic and 21(42.9%)were asymptomatic.Neither asymptomatic nor symptomatic cases progressed to severe diseases.The mean duration of viral shedding for SARS-CoV-2 in upper respiratory tract was 14.1±6.4 days in asymptomatic cases and 14.8±8.4 days in symptomatic cases(P>0.05).Forty-five(91.8%)cases had viral RNA detected in stool.The mean duration of viral shedding in stool was 28.1±13.3 days in asymptomatic cases and 30.8±18.6 days in symptomatic participants(P>0.05).Children<7 years shed viral RNA in stool for a longer duration than school-aged children(P<0.05).Forty-three(87.8%)cases had seropositivity for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 within 1–3 weeks after confirmation with infection.In conclusion,asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection may be common in children in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic wave.Asymptomatic cases shed viral RNA in a similar pattern as symptomatic cases do.It is of particular concern that asymptomatic individuals are potentially seed transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and pose a challenge to disease control.Jiehao Cai Xiangshi Wang Jun Zhao Yanling Ge Jin Xu He Tian Hailing Chang Aimei Xia Jiali Wang Jinqiang Zhang Zhongqiu Wei Jingjing Li Chuning Wang Jianshe Wang Qirong Zhu Xiaowen Zhai Mei Zeng 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,6:4
3ILC3-derived OX40L is essential for homeostasis of intestinal Tregs in immunodeficient mice显示文摘OX40L is one of the co-stimulatory molecules that can be expressed by splenic lymphoid tissue inducer(Lti)cells,a subset of group 3 innate lymphoid cells(ILC3s).OX40L expression in subsets of intestinal ILC3s and the molecular regulation of OX40L expression in ILC3s are unknown.Here,we showed intestinal ILC3s marked as an OX40L high population among all the intestinal leukocytes and were the dominant source of OX40L in Rag1–/–mice.All ILC3 subsets expressed OX40L,and NCR–ILC3s were the most abundant source of OX40L.The expression of OX40L in ILC3s could be upregulated during inflammation.In addition to tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-like cytokine 1A(TL1A),which has been known as a trigger for OX40L,we found that Poly(I:C)representing viral stimulus promoted OX40L expression in ILC3s via a cell-autonomous manner.Furthermore,we demonstrated that IL-7-STAT5 signaling sustained OX40L expression by ILC3s.Intestinal regulatory T cells(Tregs),most of which expressed OX40,had defective expansion in chimeric mice,in which ILC3s were specifically deficient for OX40L expression.Consistently,co-localization of Tregs and ILC3s was found in the cryptopatches of the intestine,which suggests the close interaction between ILC3s and Tregs.Our study has unveiled the crosstalk between Tregs and ILC3s in mucosal tissues through OX40–OX40L signaling,which is crucial for the homeostasis of intestinal Tregs.Tian Deng Caixia Suo Jiali Chang Rui Yang Jingyu Li Ting Cai Ju Qiu 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,2:3

6The COVID‐19 vaccine: Attitudes and vaccination in patients with autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic diseases显示文摘Background:We examined attitudes toward the COVID‐19 vaccine,potential factors underlying these attitudes,and ways to increase vaccination willingness in autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic diseases(AIIRD)patients.Methods:A multicenter,web‐based,observational survey using an online questionnaire was conducted among AIIRD patients aged≥18 years from May 24,2021,to June 3,2021.Participants were 3104 AIIRD patients(2921 unvaccinated and 183 vaccinated).Results:Of the unvaccinated patients,32.9%were willing to receive the COVID‐19 vaccine,45.0%were uncertain,and 14.8%were unwilling.When vaccination was recommended by physicians,patients'willingness increased to 93.8%.Participants'main concerns were that the vaccine may aggravate AIIRD disease(63.0%)and may cause vaccine‐related adverse events(19.9%).Female patients were less likely to be vaccinated.However,patients who had children aged≤18 years were more willing to be vaccinated.In addition,vaccination willingness was higher in patients with trust in the safety and efficacy of the COVID‐19 vaccine.Notably,183(5.9%)patients were vaccinated.The major vaccination side effects were injection reaction,myalgia,and fatigue.At a median follow‐up of 88(38,131)days,patients'disease activities were stable.Conclusions:The findings show that AIIRD patients were unwilling to receive the COVID‐19 vaccine because of fears of potential disease exacerbation and additional adverse events.Sociodemographic characteristics and concerns about COVID‐19 disease and vaccines had a significant effect on vaccination willingness.Jiali Chen Wenxin Cai Tian Liu Yunshan Zhou Yuebo Jin Yue Yang Shi Chen Kun Tang Chun Li 2022Rheumatology & Autoimmunity2022,2,2:1

10Detecting winter canola(Brassica napus) phenological stages using an improved shape-model method based on time-series UAV spectral data显示文摘Accurate information about phenological stages is essential for canola field management practices such as irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting. Previous studies in canola phenology monitoring focused mainly on the flowering stage, using its apparent structure features and colors. Additional phenological stages have been largely overlooked. The objective of this study was to improve a shape-model method(SMM) for extracting winter canola phenological stages from time-series top-of-canopy reflectance images collected by an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV). The transformation equation of the SMM was refined to account for the multi-peak features of the temporal dynamics of three vegetation indices(VIs)(NDVI, EVI, and CI). An experiment with various seeding scenarios was conducted, including four different seeding dates and three seeding densities. Three mathematical functions: asymmetric Gaussian function(AGF), Fourier function, and double logistic function, were employed to fit timeseries vegetation indices to extract information about phenological stages. The refined SMM effectively estimated the phenological stages of canola, with a minimum root mean square error(RMSE) of 3.7 days for all phenological stages. The AGF function provided the best fitting performance, as it captured multiple peaks in the growth dynamics characteristics for all seeding date scenarios using four scaling parameters. For the three selected VIs, CIred-edgeachieved the greatest accuracy in estimating the phenological stage dates. 13Identification of chemical compositions from“featureless”optical absorption spectra:Machine learning predictions and experimental validations显示文摘Rapid and accurate chemical composition identification is critically important in chemistry.While it can be achieved with optical absorption spectrometry by comparing the experimental spectra with the reference data when the chemical compositions are simple,such application is limited in more complicated scenarios especially in nano-scale research.This is due to the difficulties in identifying optical absorption peaks(i.e.,from“featureless”spectra)arose from the complexity.In this work,using the ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)absorption spectra of metal nanoclusters(NCs)as a demonstration,we develop a machine-learningbased method to unravel the compositions of metal NCs behind the“featureless”spectra.By implementing a one-dimensional convolutional neural network,good matches between prediction results and experimental results and low mean absolute error values are achieved on these optical absorption spectra that human cannot interpret.This work opens a door for the identification of nanomaterials at molecular precision from their optical properties,paving the way to rapid and high-throughput characterizations.Tiankai Chen Jiali Li Pengfei Cai Qiaofeng Yao Zekun Ren Yixin Zhu Saif Khan Jianping Xie Xiaonan Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0
14Two New Species of Free-Living Marine Nematodes of the Desmodoridae from Mangrove Wetlands of Xiamen Bay, China显示文摘Mangroves are unique in their biodiversity,but studies on their meiobenthic biodiversity in China are scarce.Despite the importance of mangroves,little work has been done on the classification of nematodes in mangrove wetlands.Fujian Province is the most northern point of China’s natural mangrove distribution,and it is also one of the provinces with the earliest constructed mangrove forest.In this paper,two new free-living marine nematode species of Desmodoridae from the Xiamen mangrove wetlands in China are described.Metachromadora xiamenensis sp.nov.is characterized by a cylindrical body,and smooth head capsule set off from the rest of the body.The cuticle is finely annulated and thickened at the midbody.Lateral ridges run from the posterior end of the pharynx to the middle of the tail.The amphid foveae is loop shaped and opens at the top with a double contour amphidial,pharynx with bipartite cuticularized internal cavity.There are 18 tubular precloacal supplements and tail with three small protuberances.Molgolaimus euryformis sp.nov.is characterized by a relatively short and plump body with finely annulated cuticle,which is particularly obvious in the tail.The head is small and wide with intensive striates.The inner and outer labial sensilla are indistinct with short spicules and ventral apophysis,a gubernaculum with a block-shaped hook,a swollen conical-cylindrical tail and an absence of precloacal supplements.ZHOU Xiping ZENG Jiali CAI Lizhe FU Sujing TAN Wenjuan 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,1:0
15An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between the Scale of International Students from ASEAN and China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment显示文摘With the further development of economic globalization since the establishment of ties between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN) 30 years ago and the continuous increase in the scale of international students in China,the training of international talents has become an important approach to avoiding the risks of transnational investments.We established panel data by selecting variables from the period 2006 to 2017,including the scale of international students coming from ASEAN to China,the gross amount of China’s outward foreign direct investment(OFDI),and the GDP per capita of ASEAN countries to further explore the correlations among these variables.We applied a panel-vector autoregressive(PVAR) model to conducting a Granger causality test,a Gaussian mixture model(GMM) regression analysis,a Monte Carlo-based impulse response analysis,and variance decomposition of the data.The results show that the growth of OFDI exerted an obvious positive impact on the inflow of international students from the countries along the Belt and Road(B&R) within a short period,the growth of the scale of international students coming from these countries to study in China had a strong positive effect on OFDI,the training of international talents was conducive to promoting the scale of transnational investments,but the overall quality was not very high,and its economic contribution rate was low.It is also found that OFDI and the scale of international students from the countries along the B&R promoted the GDP growth to a certain extent and the positive accumulation effect fluctuated due to external factors.Therefore,it is suggested to expanding the scale of OFDI and improving China’s core competitiveness in international student education.Intensive management of investment factors should also be conducted along with sound development of training mechanisms for international talents.Yan Jiali Cai Wenbo 2022Contemporary Social Sciences2022,7,1:0
16Comparative Metabolomics Analysis between Red- and White-Flowered Common Buckwheat Cultivars显示文摘Common buckwheat(Fagopyrum esculentum),a specialty crop in southwest China,is not only used as a supplement to primary grain crops but also to produce beverages,such as tea and wine.To fully exploit the products made from common buckwheat flower,ultra-performance liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization–tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC–ESI–MS/MS)was conducted to analyze the metabolites in red-(‘Guihong 2’)and white-flowered(‘Fengtian 1’)buckwheat cultivars.A total of 784 metabolites were identified of which flavonoids were the largest group with 191 components,followed by organic acids and derivatives(126),and amino acids and derivatives(95).Besides,dozens of phenylpropanoids,nucleotides and derivates,lipids,alkaloids as well as several kinds of indole derivatives and sterides were detected.Among these rich varieties of metabolites,24 metabolites were only detected in the red flower that mainly included 8 anthocyanins and 6 flavones,while 22 metabolites were only detected in the white flower,which mainly contained 5 lipids,5 flavonoids,and 5 organic acids and derivatives.Our results enrich the metabolites’information of buckwheat and may be helpful for the exploitation of products from common buckwheat flowers.Jiao Deng Fen Dong Chaoxin Wu Jiali Zhao Hongyou Li Juan Huang Taoxiong Shi Ziye Meng Fang Cai Qingfu Chen Pingfang Yang 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,3:0
17Geology,Geochemistry,and Genesis of the Tongcun Reduced Porphyry Mo(Cu) Deposit,NW Zhejiang Province,China显示文摘The Tongcun Mo(Cu) deposit in Kaihua city of Zhejiang Province,eastern China,occurs in and adjacent to the Songjiazhuang granodiorite porphyry and is a medium-sized and important porphyry type ore deposit.Two irregular Mo(Cu) orebodies consist of various types of hydrothermal veinlets.Intensive hydrothermal alteration contains skarnization,chloritization,carbonatization,silicification and sericitization.Based on mineral assemblages and crosscutting relationships,the oreforming processes are divided into five stages,i.e.,the early stage of garnet + epidote ± chlorite associated with skarnization and K-feldspar + quartz ± molybdenite veins associated with potassicsilicic alteration,the quartz-sulfides stage of quartz + molybdenite ± chalcopyrite ± pyrite veins,the carbonatization stage of calcite veinlets or stockworks,the sericite + chalcopyrite ± pyrite stage,and the late calcite + quartz stage.Only the quartz-bearing samples in the early stage and in the quartzsulfides stage are suitable for fluid inclusions(FIs) study.Four types of FIs were observed,including1) CO_2-CH_4 single phase FIs,2) CO_2-bearing two- or three-phase FIs,3) Aqueous two-phase FIs,and4) Aqueous single phase FIs.FIs of the early stages are predominantly CO_2- and CH_4-rich FIs of the CO_2-CH4-H_2O-NaCl system,whereas minerals in the quartz-sulfides stage contain CO_2-rich FIs of the CO_2-H_2O-NaCl system and liquid-rich FIs of the H_2O-NaCl system.For the CO_2-CH_4 single phase FIs of the early mineralization stage,the homogenization temperatures of the CO_2 phase range from 15.4 ℃ to 25.3 ℃(to liquid),and the fluid density varies from 0.7 g/cm^3 to 0.8 g/cm^3;for two- or three-phase FIs of the CO_2-CH_4-H_2O-NaCl system,the homogenization temperatures,salinities and densities range from 312℃ to 412℃,7.7 wt%NaCl eqv.to 10.9 wt%NaCl eqv.,and 0.9 g/cm^3 to 1.0 g/cm^3,respectively.For CO_2-H_2O-NaCI two- or threephase FIs of the quartz-sulfides stage,the homogenization temperatures and salinities range from255℃ to 418℃,4.8 wt%NaCl eqv.to 12.4 wt%NaCl eqv.,respectively;for H_2O-NaCl two-phase FIs,the homogenization temperatures range from 230 ℃ to 368 ℃,salinities from 11.7 wt%NaCl eqv.to16.9 wt%NaCl eqv.,and densities from 0.7 g/cm^3 to 1.0 g/cm^3.Microthermometric measurements and Laser Raman spectroscopy analyses indicate that CO_2 and CH_4 contents and reducibility(indicated by the presence of CH_4) of the fluid inclusions trapped in quartz-sulfides stage minerals are lower than those in the early stage.Twelve molybdenite separates yield a Re-Os isochron age of 163 ± 2.4 Ma,which is consistent with the emplacement age of the Tongcun,Songjiazhuang,Dayutang and Huangbaikeng granodiorite porphyries.The TANG Yanwen LI Xiaofeng XIE Yuling HUANG Cheng WEI Hao CAI Jiali YIN Yifan QIN Chaojian LIU Rong 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:0
18Potential risks of organic contaminated soil after persulfate remediation:Harmful gaseous sulfur release显示文摘Persulfate is considered a convenient and efficient remediation agent for organic contaminated soil.However,the potential risk of sulfur into the soil remediation by persulfate remains ignored.In this study,glass bottles with different persulfate dosages and groundwater tables were set up to simulate persulfate remediation of organic pollutants(aniline).The results found sulfate to be the main end-product(83.0%–99.5%)of persulfate remediation after10 days.Moreover,H_(2)S accounted for 93.4%–99.4%of sulfur reduction end-products,suggesting that H_(2)S was the final fate of sulfur.H_(2)S was released rapidly after one to three days at a maximum concentration of 33.0 ppm,which is sufficient to make a person uncomfortable.According to the fitted curve results,H_(2)S concentration decreased to a safe concentration(0.15 ppm)after 20–85 days.Meanwhile,the maximum concentration of methanethiol reached 0.6 ppm.These results indicated that secondary pollution from persulfate remediation could release harmful gases over a long time.Therefore,persulfate should be used more carefully as a remediation agent for soil contamination.Yuyang Long Zixiao Wu Xiaodong Ding Jiansong Chen Dongsheng Shen Jiali Shentu Cai Hui 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,1:0
19Ni-catalyzed carbon–carbon bonds cleavage of mixed polyolefin plastics waste显示文摘The inert carbon–carbon(C–C) bonds cleavage is a main bottleneck in the chemical upcycling of recalcitrant polyolefin plastics waste. Here we develop an efficient strategy to catalyze the complete cleavage of C–C bonds in mixed polyolefin plastics over non-noble metal catalysts under mild conditions. The nickelbased catalyst involving Ni_(2)Al_(3) phase enables the direct transformation of mixed polyolefin plastics into natural gas, and the gas carbon yield reaches up to 89.6%. 20Albumin-based Theranostic Nanosystem for Drug Controlled Release and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Guided Therapy显示文摘Chemotherapy is still a kind of important strategy for cancer treatment,but lacking effective delivery system limits the therapeutic outcome.Owing to the excellent biocompatibility,albumin has been employed as drug vehicle;however,it has to face complicated synthesis procedures and still needs an effective technology for the drug delivery evaluation.In this study,a facile method was utilized to prepare a protein-based theranostic system through the self-assembly of albumins with small molecules and drugs;furthermore,the paramagnetic divalent manganese ions were conjugated on the surface of the nanocomposite through a coordination bond and carried out the magnetic resonance imaging.This nanosystem with a stable structure exhibited about 80 nanometer size and 7.7[Mn]mM-1S-1 T1 relaxivity;moreover,the pH-sensitive drug releasing property and the imaging function empower it with theranostic cancer therapy.Moreover,the nanocomposites effectively entered into the cancer cells and showed superior antitumor ability;and these treated cells exhibited significant T1 signal.These results suggested that the albumin-based nanosystem is a novel chemotherapy drug delivery vehicle and a promising candidate for magnetic resonance imaging.Qiaoying Wang Jiali Cai Zihan Xu Shihui Huang Ruiping Zhou Zhiyong Wang 2022Journal of Bionic Engineering2022,19,1:0
