| 1 | A life support-based comprehensive treatment regimen dramatically lowers the in-hospital mortality of patients with fulminant myocarditis: a multiple center study显示文摘Fulminant myocarditis(FM) has unacceptable high mortality. This study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of a life support-based comprehensive treatment regimen(LSBCTR), a completely novel treatment regimen, for FM. A total of 169 FM patients recruited from January 2008 to December 2018 were divided into two groups: patients receiving LSBCTR(81 cases),which includes(i) mechanical life support(positive pressure respiration, intra-aortic balloon pump with or without extracorporeal membrane oxygenation),(ii) immunomodulation therapy using sufficient doses of glucocorticoids and immunoglobulins, and(iii) application of neuraminidase inhibitors, and those receiving conventional treatment(88 cases). The endpoints were in-hospital death and heart-transplantation. Of all the population, 44 patients(26.0%) died in hospitals. Inhospital mortality was 3.7%(3/81) for LSBCTR group and 46.6%(41/88) for traditional treatment(P<0.001). Early application of LSBCTR, mechanical life support, neuraminidase inhibitors, and immunomodulation therapy significantly contributed to reduction in in-hospital mortality. This study describes a novel treatment regimen for FM patients that dramatically reduces inhospital mortality. | 2 | Polymer nanodisks by collapse of nanocapsules显示文摘It is an important challenge to make disk-like polymeric nanostructures. Herein we report a facile method for preparing polymer nanodisks by self-collapse of nanocapsules self-assembled from a statistical copolymer after partial hydrolysis. We find that partial hydrolysis of the statistical copolymer is crucial for the formation of nanodisks as it affords a suitable rigidity for the membrane of nanocapsules. The nanodisk structure has been confirmed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and atomic force microscopy(AFM) studies with a thickness of 6.3±0.2 nm. | 3 | AC loss and contact resistance in highly flexible rebco cable for fusion applications显示文摘High Temperature Superconductor(HTS)materials can operate at higher magnetic fields up to 20 T with high critical current and higher operating temperature,compared to low temperature superconductors(LTS).A Highly Flexible REBCO Cable(HFRC)is introduced at the Institute of Plasma Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences(ASIPP);a cabling method that is suitable for REBCO HTS tape having anisotropic material properties in its thin REBCO layer.This type of HTS superconducting cable shows high potential for applications in nuclear fusion.The alternating currents and magnetic fields in tokamak type of fusion magnets,cause AC power losses in such cables,which can provoke instability of the conductor by induced currents and increase the temperature.As a first step in characterizing the electromagnetic(EM)performance of an HFRC cable,the AC loss and contact resistance of the HFRC prototype cable were measured at the University of Twente.The measurements were done in liquid helium(4.2 K)with AC magnetic fields,applied perpendicular to the cable's long axis.The AC loss was measured simultaneously by a calibrated gas flow calorimeter utilizing the helium boil-off method,and by the magnetization method using pick-up coils.For the applied test conditions,no coupling loss could be distinguished as a part of the overall AC loss.It is suggested that this might be explained by the shielding of the conductor interior from the applied magnetic field by the outer tape layer due to the high critical current density of the REBCO tape,leading to a high penetration field. | Zichuan Guo Jinggang Qin R.Lubkemann Keyang Wang Huan Jin Guanyu Xiao Jiangang Li Chao Zhou Arend Nijhuis | 2022 | Superconductivity2022,,2: | 2 |
| 4 | Spatio-temporal Dynamic Simulation of Land use and Ecological Risk in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration,China显示文摘Rapid urbanization leads to dramatic changes in land use patterns,and the land use/cover change(LUCC)can reflect the spatial impact of urbanization on the ecological environment.Simulating the process of LUCC and predicting the ecological risk future changes can provide supports for urban ecological management.Taking the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration(YRDUA),China as the study area,four developmental scenarios were set on the basis of the land use data from 2005 to 2015.The temporal land use changes were predicted by the integration of the system dynamic and the future land use simulation(SD-FLUS)model,and the geographically weighted regression(GWR)model was used to identify the spatial heterogeneity and evolution characteristics between ecological risk index(ERI)and socio-economic driving forces.Results showed that:1)From 2005 to 2015,the expansion of construction land(7670.24 km^(2))mainly came from the occupation of cultivated land(7854.22 km2).The Kappa coefficient of the SD-FLUS model was 0.886,indicating that this model could be used to predict the future land use changes in the YRDUA.2)Gross domestic production(GDP)and population density(POP)showed a positive effect on the ERI,and the impact of POP exceeded that of GDP.The ERI showed the characteristics of zonal diffusion and a slight upward trend,and the high ecological risk region increased by 6.09%,with the largest increase.3)Under different developmental scenarios,the land use and ecological risk patterns varied.The construction land is increased by 5.76%,7.41%,5.25%and 6.06%,respectively.And the high ecological risk region accounted for 12.71%,15.06%,11.89%,and 12.94%,correspondingly.In Scenario D,the structure of land use and ecological risk pattern was better compared with other scenarios considering the needs of rapid economic and ecological protection.This study is helpful to understand the spatio-temporal pattern and demand of land use types,grasp the ecological security pattern of large-scale areas,and provide scientific basis for the territory development of urban agglomeration in the future. | WANG Xiao CHE Lei ZHOU Liang XU Jiangang | 2021 | Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,5: | 2 |

| 7 | Study on the Aromatic Components of Green Plum Wine by HS-SPME-GC-MS显示文摘In order to better blend green plum wine and study aromatic components of green plum wine,a qualitative analysis on aromatic components of soaked base liquor,green plum soaked wine,green plum juice,and fermented wine of green plum juice by Head Space Solid-phase Microextraction( HS-SPME) and Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer( GC-MS) was studied in this paper. Experiment results indicated that14,32,17,and 46 kinds of aromatic components were identified respectively from four samples. Different aromatic components determined the special flavor and taste of green plum wine. Unique aromatic components generated in soaking process include benzaldehyde,1-butanol,2-methyl-,S-(-),benzoic acid ethyl ester,and 5-( hydroxymethyl). Special aromatic components in green plum juice were furfural,phenylethyl alcohol,and benzyl alcohol. | 9 | Application of osteoinductive calcium phosphate ceramics in children’s endoscopic neurosurgery:report of five cases显示文摘This work aimed at investigating the possibility and effectiveness of osteoinductive calcium phosphate(CaP)ceramics to close the drilled skull holes and prevent the postoperative cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)leaking in children’s endoscopic neurosurgery.Five children patients(four boys and one girl,3-to 8-years old)underwent the surgery,in which the endoscopic third ventriculostomy(ETV)was operated in four cases of hydrocephalus,and biopsy and ETV were both performed in one case of pineal tumor.The drilled skull holes were filled with the commercial osteoinductive CaP ceramics.The patients were followed up by CT scan at 1,7 days,3 and 6 months postoperatively.All the five cases were successful,and the holes were closed well after filled with the ceramics.The follow-up survey showed that no CSF leaking or rejection reaction was found.The CT scan indicated that the drilled holes began healing at 7 days postoperatively,and a relatively complete healing happened at 6 months postoperatively.The excellent ability of the CaP ceramics to induce bone regeneration was also confirmed by repairing the skull defects in a monkey model.The results of μ-CT and histological analysis showed that a bony structure with irregular array occurred at the defect area,and the newly formed bone volume density reached 65.7%.In conclusion,the osteoinductive CaP ceramics could be an ideal material to treat the drilled skull holes in children’s endoscopic neurosurgery and prevent CSF leaking afterwards.However,further investigation with more cases and longer follow-up was required to evaluate the clinical effect. | Jia Wei Hufei Qian Yu Liu Jiangang Liu Rui Zhao Xiao Yang Xiangdong Zhu Ruoping Chen Xingdong Zhang | 2018 | Regenerative Biomaterials2018,5,4: | 0 |
| 10 | Chlorine-substituted chiral 2D perovskite microwires with enhanced lattice rigidity for sensitive circularly polarized light detection显示文摘Chiral two-dimensional(2D) perovskites offer numerous attractive features for optoelectronics owing to their soft, deformable lattices and a high degree of chemical tunability. While tremendous advances have been made in perovskite-based direct circularly polarized light(CPL) detection, the low circular polarization anisotropy factor and sensitivity of those photodetectors arising from large lattice distortion still limit practical applications. Herein, chiral 2D perovskite-based single-crystalline microwire arrays with enhanced circular dichroism(CD) absorption are fabricated with the synergy of the capillary-bridgeconfined assembly method and chlorine-substituted phenethylamine(Cl-MBA). Compared with phenethylamine(MBA)-inserted perovskites, the smaller lattice distortion and increased halogen–halogen interaction within Cl–MBA-inserted perovskites strengthen lattice rigidity and weaken electron–phonon coupling to improve carrier transport and thermal stability, resulting in high-performance CPL photodetectors with an anisotropy factor of 0.25, responsivity exceeding 95.7±9.3 A W^(-1)and detectivity exceeding(3.05±0.30)×10^(13)Jones.
