| 6 | lncRNA NEAT1 promotes the Taxol resistance of breast cancer via sponging the miR-23a-3p-FOXA1 axis显示文摘Breast cancer is the most prevalent malignancy among women worldwide.Paclitaxel(Taxol)is a widely applied chemotherapeutic agent against breast cancer.Although Taxol therapy has achieved improvements recently,development of chemoresistance of breast cancer patients is a major obstacle,leading to therapeutic failure.Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play pivotal roles in tumorigenesis and progresses of breast cancer.However,the biological roles and molecular targets of lncRNA NEAT1 in Taxol-resistant breast cancer remain unclear.Here,we report that NEAT1 is significantly upregulated in breast tumors and cell lines.In addition,silencing NEAT1 effectively sensitizes breast cancer cells to Taxol.Bioinformatical analysis and luciferase assay demonstrated that miR-23a-3p could be sponged and downregulated by NEAT1.We demonstrated that miR-23a-3p was downregulated and functioned as a tumor suppressor in breast cancer.Furthermore,in the established Taxol-resistant MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell line,we detected significantly increased NEAT1 expression and downregulated miR-23a-3p expression.Importantly,FOXA1 was identified and validated as a direct target of miR-23a-3p in breast cancer cells.Rescue experiments demonstrated that the restoration of miR-23a-3p in NEAT1-overexpressing Taxol-resistant breast cancer cells successfully overcame the NEAT1-promoted Taxol resistance.Taken together,our results revealed the clinical roles and molecular mechanisms for the NEAT1-mediated chemoresistance,providing new insights into the development of non-coding RNA-based therapeutic strategies for enhancing the anti-cancer effects of traditional chemotherapeutic drugs. | Lin Zhu Fengchun Wang Wenhui Fan Zhi Jin Chao Teng Jianxin Zhang | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,9: | 7 |
| 7 | The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) mission: An overview显示文摘The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE), dubbed “Xihe”—Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the Hα waveband. The Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS)is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 ? and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 ? with 0.024 ? pixel spectral resolution and 1 min temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 ? with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 ?. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. | 8 | Seed metabolomic study reveals significant metabolite variations and correlations among different soybean cultivars显示文摘Soybean[Glycine max(L.) Results showed that water channels were mainly distributed in the cylinders of α-HH crystal,whereas no water channel existed in the conical surfaces parallel to the z-axis. Increasing the number of water channels was critical to enhance the hydration activity of HPG compared with the hydration reactivity of industrial HPG and type-α high-strength gypsum. | 10 | Strengthening effect of Cu-rich phase precipitation in 18Cr9Ni3CuNbN austenitic heat-resisting steel显示文摘The Cu-containing austenitic heat-resistant steel 18Cr9Ni3CuNbN, which is being used as superheater and reheater tube material for modern ultra-super-critical (USC) power plants all over the world, has been investigated at 650 ℃ long time aging till 10 000 h. SEM, TEM and 3DAP (three dimensional atom probe) have been used to follow microstructural changes with mechanical property variations. Experimental results show that Cu-rich phase and MX precipitate in the grains as well as M 23 C 6 precipitates at grain boundaries are the main precipitation strengthening phases in this steel. Among them Cu-rich phase is the most important strengthening phase. Homogeneous distribution of very fine nano-size Cu-rich phase has been formed at very early stage of 650 ℃ aging (less than 1 h). Cu atoms gradually concentrate to Cu-rich particles and the other elements (such as Fe, Cr, Ni etc) diffuse away from Curich particles to γ-matrix with the increasing of aging time at 650 ? C. The growth rate of Cu-rich phase at 650 ℃ long time aging is very slow and the average diameters of Cu-rich phase have been determined by TEM method. Cu-rich phase keeps in about 30 nm till 650 ℃ aging for 10 000 h. It shows that nano-size Cu-rich phase precipitation strengthening can be kept for long time aging at 650 ℃ because of its excellent stability at high temperatures. | 12 | Dynamic network embedding via incremental skip-gram with negative sampling显示文摘Network representation learning,as an approach to learn low dimensional representations of vertices,has attracted considerable research attention recently.It has been proven extremely useful in many machine learning tasks over large graph.Most existing methods focus on learning the structural representations of vertices in a static network,but cannot guarantee an accurate and efficient embedding in a dynamic network scenario.The fundamental problem of continuously capturing the dynamic properties in an efficient way for a dynamic network remains unsolved.To address this issue,we present an efficient incremental skip-gram algorithm with negative sampling for dynamic network embedding,and provide a set of theoretical analyses to characterize the performance guarantee.Specifically,we first partition a dynamic network into the updated,including addition/deletion of links and vertices,and the retained networks over time.Then we factorize the objective function of network embedding into the added,vanished and retained parts of the network.Next we provide a new stochastic gradient-based method,guided by the partitions of the network,to update the nodes and the parameter vectors.The proposed algorithm is proven to yield an objective function value with a bounded difference to that of the original objective function.The first order moment of the objective difference converges in order of O(1/n^2),and the second order moment of the objective difference can be stabilized in order of O(1).Experimental results show that our proposal can significantly reduce the training time while preserving the comparable performance.We also demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the practical usefulness of the dynamic network embedding.We perform extensive experiments on multiple real-world large network datasets over multi-label classification and link prediction tasks to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed framework,and up to 22 times speedup has been achieved. | Hao PENG Jianxin LI Hao YAN Qiran GONG Senzhang WANG Lin LIU Lihong WANG Xiang REN | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,10: | 4 |

| 14 | Andrographolide and Its Derivative Potassium Dehydrographolide Succinate Suppress PRRSV Replication in Primary and Established Cells via Differential Mechanisms of Action显示文摘Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV) continues to cause significant economic loss worldwide and remains a serious threat to the pork industry. Currently, vaccination strategies provide limited protection against PRRSV infection, and consequently, new antiviral strategies are urgently required. Andrographolide(Andro) and its derivative potassium dehydrographolide succinate(PDS) have been used clinically in China and other Asian countries as therapies for inflammation-related diseases, including bacterial and viral infections, for decades. Here, we demonstrate that Andro and PDS exhibit robust activity against PRRSV replication in Marc-145 cells and primary porcine alveolar macrophages(PAMs). The two compounds exhibited broad-spectrum inhibitory activities in vitro against clinically circulating type 2 PRRSV GD-HD, XH-GD, and NADC30-like HNhx strains in China. The EC_(50)values of Andro against three tested PRRSV strain infections in Marc-145 cells ranged from 11.7 to 15.3 lmol/L, with selectivity indexes ranging from 8.3 to10.8, while the EC_(50)values of PDS ranged from 57.1 to 85.4 lmol/L, with selectivity indexes ranging from 344 to 515.Mechanistically, the anti-PRRSV activity of the two compounds is closely associated with their potent suppression on NFj B activation and enhanced oxidative stress induced by PRRSV infection. Further mechanistic investigations revealed that PDS, but not Andro, is able to directly interact with PRRSV particles. The liquid density and Rayleigh number (Ra) pro files along the mushy zone were calculated as well. It was found that the liquid density difference increased from top to bottom in the mushy zone and there was no density inversion due to the segregation of Nb and Mo. However carbide formation in the freezing range and the preferred angle of the orientated dendrite array could prompt the fluid flow in the mushy zone although there was no liquid density inversion. The H_2-TPR and HRTEM studies reveal that Ru/Y-LDO catalyst possesses more active Ru metal and small particle size.The XPS demonstrates that the electronic interaction between Y and Ru metals is stronger, which can be tentatively explained by most of Y inserted into the hydrotalcites structure. CO_2-TPD demonstrates that Ru/Y-LDO catalyst shows stronger basic site densities than catalysts doped with Ce and La. | 19 | Improving the ammonia synthesis activity of Ru/CeO_(2) through enhancement of the metal–support interaction显示文摘The metal–support interactions induced by high-temperature hydrogen reduction have a strong influence on the catalytic performance of ceria-supported Ru catalysts. However, the appearance of the strong metal–support interaction leads to covering of the Ru species by Ce suboxides, which is detrimental to the ammonia synthesis reaction that requires metallic species as active sites. In the present work, the interaction between Ru and ceria in the Ru/CeO_(2) catalyst was induced by NaBH_(4) treatment. NaBH_(4) treatment enhanced the fraction of metallic Ru, proportion of Ce^(3+), content of exposed Ru species, and amount of surface oxygen species. As a result, a larger amount of hydrogen species would desorb by the H_(2)-formation pathway and the strength of hydrogen adsorption would be weaker, weakening the inhibition effect of the hydrogen species on ammonia synthesis. In addition, the strong electronic metal–support interaction aids in nitrogen dissociation. | 20 | Oxygen Vacancy-Rich 2D TiO_(2) Nanosheets:A Bridge Toward High Stability and Rapid Hydrogen Storage Kinetics of Nano-Confined MgH_(2)显示文摘MgH_(2) has attracted intensive interests as one of the most promising hydrogen storage materials.Nevertheless,the high desorption temperature,sluggish kinetics,and rapid capacity decay hamper its commercial application.Herein,2D TiO_(2) nanosheets with abundant oxygen vacancies are used to fabricate a flower-like MgH_(2)/TiO_(2) heterostructure with enhanced hydrogen storage performances.Particularly,the onset hydrogen desorption temperature of the MgH_(2)/TiO_(2) heterostructure is lowered down to 180℃(295℃ for blank MgH_(2)).The initial desorption rate of MgH_(2)/TiO_(2) reaches 2.116 wt% min^(-1) at 300℃,35 times of the blank MgH_(2) under the same conditions.Moreover,the capacity retention is as high as 98.5% after 100 cycles at 300℃,remarkably higher than those of the previously reported MgH_(2)-TiO_(2) composites.Both in situ HRTEM observations and ex situ XPS analyses confirm that the synergistic effects from multi-valance of Ti species,accelerated electron transportation caused by oxygen vacancies,formation of catalytic Mg-Ti oxides,and stabilized MgH_(2) NPs confined by TiO_(2) nanosheets contribute to the high stability and kinetically accelerated hydrogen storage performances of the composite.The strategy of using 2D substrates with abundant defects to support nano-sized energy storage materials to build heterostructure is therefore promising for the design of high-performance energy materials. | Li Ren Wen Zhu Yinghui Li Xi Lin Hao Xu Fengzhan Sun Chong Lu Jianxin Zou | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,9: | 2 |
