| 3 | A^2.5 Ga magmatic event at the northern margin of the Yangtze craton:Evidence from U-Pb dating and Hf isotope analysis of zircons from the Douling Complex in the South Qinling orogen显示文摘The poorly studied Douling Complex is a crystalline basement that developed in the Neoproterozoic-Paleozoic weakly metamorphosed to non-metamorphosed strata at the South Qinling tectonic belt.Five banded dioritic-granitic gneiss samples from the Douling Complex were chosen for LA-MC-ICPMS U-Pb zircon dating,which yielded protolith emplacement ages of 2469±22Ma,2479±12 Ma,2497±21 Ma,2501±17 Ma and 2509±14 Ma,respectively.An important peak age of^2.48 Ga was also obtained for a metasedimentary rock in the same region.These discoveries suggest the occurrence of magmatic activity of2.51–2.47 Ga at the northern margin of the Yangtze craton.The age-correctedεHf(t)values obtained from in situ zircon Hf isotopic analysis are mainly between 5.5 and+0.3,and the two-stage zircon Hf model ages range from 3.30 to 2.95 Ga.Considering two important periods of^3.3–3.2 Ga and^2.95–2.90 Ga for the continental crustal growth in the Yangtze craton,we infer that the dioritic-granitic gneisses from the Douling Complex are the products of reworking of Paleo-to Mesoarchean crust at the northern margin of the Yangtze craton at^2.5 Ga.In addition,metamorphic ages of 837±8 Ma and 818±10 Ma were obtained for zircon overgrowth rims from a dioritic gneiss and a metasedimentary rock,indicating that the main phase amphibolite facies metamorphism of the Doulng Complex occurred during the Neoproterozoic,although its geological meaning remains ambiguous. | HU Juan LIU XiaoChun CHEN LongYao QU Wei LI HuaiKun GENG JianZhen | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 6 |
| 4 | Study on the Metallogenetism of Sub-mantle Plume and Mantle Branches in the Gold Mineralization Concentration Area of Northwest Jiaodong Peninsula显示文摘The northwest of Jiaodong peninsula is characterized by its greatest gold concentration area, enormous gold reserves and limited time interval(115±5Ma) of gold mineralization in China. Studies show that the east area of north China began its mantle plume evolution since the Yanshanian movement, and the Laiyang sub-mantle plume and its surrounding mantle branches such as those in Guojiadian, Aishan and Panshidian were formed in the mineralization concentration area of northwestern Jiaodong peninsula. With the development of mantle plume → sub-mantle plume → mantle branch → favorable expending structures, the deep-derived hydrothermal fluid moved up to the favorable places, such as brittle-ductile or ductile-brittle shearing zones, the internal and external contact zones of intrusions, dense fracturing zones and the contact zones between dikes and countryrocks, and concentrated into deposits. Then the gold mineralization concentration zones that are centralized on mantle branches were formed. | 5 | Silicon lithium-ion battery anode with enhanced performance: Multiple effects of silver nanoparticles显示文摘Silicon has been regarded as one of the most promising next generation lithium-ion battery anode. However, the poor cyclic stability of the Si based anode has severely limited its practical applications, which is even worse with high mass loading density(>1 mg cm^(-2)). A new concept has been developed to enhance the electrochemical performance of the Si nanoparticle anode. Silver nanoparticles are composited with the silicon nanoparticles in a facile way for the first time. It is found that the mechanical properties of the Si electrode have been significantly improved by the incorporation of the silver nanoparticles, leading to enhanced cyclic performance. With the Si/Ag mass ratio of 4:1, the reversible specific discharge capacity is retained as 1156 m A h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 200 mA g^(-1), which is more than three times higher than that of the bare silicon(318 mA h g^(-1)). | 7 | Timing of mineralization at the Shihu gold deposit in the middle segment of the Taihang Mountain, China显示文摘The Shihu gold deposit, located in the middlesouth section of the core of the Fuping mantle branch structure, is hosted in the Archean Fuping Group and adjacent to the quartz diorite porphyrite. The gold deposit is the only large gold deposit with reserves of more than 30 tons gold discovered in western Hebei Province so far. In order to constrain the timing of mineralization of this ore deposit, this paper focuses on the isotopic dating of zircon and pyrite. Zircons in gold-bearing quartz veins are magmatic in origin and no hydrothermal zircon has been found in such quartz veins, indicating that zircons were derived from the wall rocks. U–Pb ages of zircons fall mainly in the two domains: 2492 ± 82 and 136 ± 4 Ma, respectively,indicative of the contribution of the Fuping-Group TTG gneiss and Yanshanian igneous rocks, respectively. The Re–Os isotopic compositions of pyrites in the gold-bearing quartz veins yield an isochron age of 127 ± 31 Ma. | 8 | Study on the ore-forming and ore-controlling structure of the Mujicun Cu (Mo) ore deposit, Hebei Province, China显示文摘The Mujicun Cu (Mo) ore deposit at Laiyuan, Hebei Province, is a currently proven large-sized Cu (Mo) polymetallic ore deposit and it is located in the second-ordered fault depression basin of the ditachment belt on the hanging-wall on the western side at the juncture of the Laiyuan dumbell-shaped complex in the northern part of the Fuping mantle-branch structure. Metallogenesis is controlled by diorite porphyrite in intrusive relation with the fault depression basin and other relevant fault structure systems and intenstive wall-rock alteration zones. This study, in conjunction with the most recent exploration data, analyzed the geological background of metallogenesis of this deposit, summaried the geological characteristics of typical ore deposits, determined the alteration zonation of the deposit, investigated regional metallogenesis and the genesis of typical ore deposits, discussed the regional ore-forming and ore-controlling structures, and generalized the regional ore-controlling model and metallogenic model of the deposit. To speed up the comprehensive treatment of rock desertification, several anti-rock desertification modes implemented in Dingtan region, located on the right bank of Huajiang Grand Valley in Beipanjiang Town, are introduced as examples. This paper first analyzes the natural and environmental conditions, the development of rock desertification in the Dingtan region, then the detail of the treatment modes, such as “Chinese wingleaf pricklyash – pig breeding – marsh gas” (Mode One), “amomum villosum – pig breeding – marsh gas” mode (Mode Two), “traditional grain and economic crop (corn, peanut) – amomum villosum or Chinese wingleaf pricklyash” (Mode Three), etc. The eco-economic effects, potential and shortcomings of the above mentioned modes are analyzed and compared.
