1Isolation and oral immunogenicity assessment of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus NH-TA2020 strain:One of the predominant strains circulating in China from 2017 to 2021显示文摘Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED)caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV)is one of the most devastating diseases in the global pig industry due to its high mortality rate in piglets.Maternal vaccines can effectively enhance the gut-mammary gland-secretory IgA axis to boost lactogenic immunity and passive protection of nursing piglets against PEDV challenge.From 2017 to 2021,we collected 882 diarrhea samples from 303 farms in China to investigate the epidemiology of PEDV.The result showed that about 52.15%(158/303)of the farms were positive for PEDV with an overall detection rate of 63.95%(564/882)of the samples.The S1 fragments of S gene from 104 strains were sequenced for the phylogenetic analysis.A total of 71 PEDV strains(68.27%)sequenced in this study were clustered into the predominant G2c subgroup,while the newly-defined G2d strains(9.62%)were identified in three provinces of China.The NH-TA2020 strain of G2c subgroup was isolated and cultured,and its infection to piglets caused watery diarrhea within 24 h,indicating its strong pathogenicity.Oral administration of NH-TA2020 strain to pregnant gilts stimulated high levels of IgA antibody in colostrum.The piglets fed by the gilts above were challenged with NH-TA2020 strain or CH-HeB-RY-2020 strain from G2d subgroup,and the clinical symptoms and virus shedding were significantly reduced compared to the mock group.Our findings suggest that G2c subgroup is the predominant branch circulating in China from 2017 to 2021.Oral administration of NH-TA2020 enhances maternal IgA and lactogenic immune responses,which confer protection against the homologous and emerging G2d PEDV strains challenges in neonates.Xiaowen Li Yang Li Jiapei Huang Yali Yao Wenying Zhao Yunjing Zhang Jie Qing Jing Ren Zhong Yan Zewei Wang Xiaofang Hu Duli Kang Hongqiang Liu Zhichun Yan 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,5:6

3Use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blockers in context of COVID-19 outbreak:a retrospective analysis显示文摘The possible effects of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEIs)or angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blockers(ARBs)on COVID-19 disease severity have generated considerable debate.We performed a single-center,retrospective analysis of hospitalized adult COVID-19 patients in Wuhan,China,who had definite clinical outcome(dead or discharged)by February 15,2020.Patients on anti-hypertensive treatment with or without ACEI/ARB were compared on their clinical characteristics and outcomes.The medical records from 702 patients were screened.Among the 101 patients with a history of hypertension and taking at least one anti-hypertensive medication,40 patients were receiving ACEI/ARB as part of their regimen,and 61 patients were on antihypertensive medication other than ACEI/ARB.We observed no statistically significant differences in percentages of in-hospital mortality(28%vs.34%,P=0.46),ICU admission(20%vs.28%,P=0.37)or invasive mechanical ventilation(18%vs.26%,P=0.31)between patients with or without ACEI/ARB treatment.Further multivariable adjustment of age and gender did not provide evidence for a significant association between ACEI/ARB treatment and severe COVID-19 outcomes.Our findings confirm the lack of an association between chronic receipt of reninangiotensin system antagonists and severe outcomes of COVID-19.Patients should continue previous antihypertensive therapy until further evidence is available.Jiuyang Xu Chaolin Huang Guohui Fan Zhibo Liu Lianhan Shang Fei Zhou Yeming Wang Jiapei Yu Luning Yang Ke Xie Zhisheng Huang Lixue Huang Xiaoying Gu Hui Li Yi Zhang Yimin Wang Frederick G.Hayden Peter W.Horby Bin Cao Chen Wang 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,5:2
4Grain size regulation for balancing cycle performance and rate capability of LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.055)Mn_(0.045)O_(2) single crystal nickel-rich cathode materials显示文摘It is challenging to balance the cyclability and rate capability of single crystal nickel-rich cathode materials(Ni>0.8).Multicomponent oxides by spray pyrolysis shows potential as highly-reactive precursors to synthesize single crystal nickel-rich cathode at lower temperature,yet Ni^(2+)will severely inhibit particle growth when Ni content exceeds 0.9.Herein,lithium nitrate(LiNO_(3))with low melting point and strong oxidation is introduced as collaborate lithium salts for fabrication of well-dispersed submicron and micron single crystal LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.055)Mn_(0.045)O_(2)(NCM90)cathode without extra unit operation.By changing amount of LiNO_(3),particle size regulation is realized and cation disorder can be diminished.The as-prepared material with optimal content of 4 wt%LiNO_(3)(NCM90-4 LN)displays the most appropriate particle size(1μm)with approximately stoichiometric structure,and presents better kinetics characterization of lithium-ion diffusion(15%higher than NCM90)and good electrochemical performance with specific discharge capacity of 220.6 and 173.8 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 C and 10 C at room temperature,respectively.This work broadens the conventional research methodology of size regulation for single crystal Ni-rich cathode materials and is indispensable for the development of designing principal of nickel-rich cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.Jiapei Wang Xibin Lu Yingchao Zhang Jiahui Zhou Jiexi Wang Shengming Xu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:2
5Occurrence, distribution and risk assessment of abused drugs and their metabolites in a typical urban river in north China显示文摘This study investigated the presence of 11 abused drugs and their metabolites, including amphetamine, methamphetamine (METH), ketamine, ephedrine (EPH), cocaine, benzoylecgonine, methadone, morphine, heroin, codeine, and methcathinone in the surface water and sediment samples of Beiyunhe River, a typical urban river flowing through Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei provinces in North China. An analytical method of determining these abused drugs and their metabolites in water and sediment was developed and validated prior to sample collection in the study area. Results showed that METH and EPH were predominant in water and sediment samples. The total drug concentrations ranged from 26.6 to 183.0 ng/L in water and from 2.6 to 32.4 ng/g dry weight in sediment, and the drugs mainly originated from hospitals and sewage treatment plants. The average field-based sediment water distribution coefficients of abused drugs were calculated between 149.3 and 1214.0 L/kg and corrected by organic carbon. Quotient method was used to assess the risks. 6Deep graph cut network for weakly-supervised semantic segmentation显示文摘The scarcity of fully-annotated data becomes the biggest obstacle that prevents many deep learning approaches from widely applied.Weakly-supervised visual learning which can utilize inexact annotations is developed rapidly to remedy such a situation.In this paper,we study the weakly-supervised task achieving pixel-level semantic segmentation only with image-level labels as supervision.Different from other methods,our approach tries to transform the weakly-supervised visual learning problem into a semi-supervised visual learning problem and then utilizes semi-supervised learning methods to solve it.Utilizing this transformation,we can adopt effective semi-supervised methods to perform transductive learning with context information.In the semi-supervised learning module,we propose to use the graph cut algorithm to label more supervision from the activation seeds generated from a classification network.The generated labels can provide the segmentation model with effective supervision information;moreover,the graph cut module can benefit from features extracted by the segmentation model.Then,each of them updates and optimizes the other iteratively until convergence.Experiment results on PASCAL VOC and COCO benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed deep graph cut algorithm for weakly-supervised semantic segmentation.Jiapei FENG Xinggang WANG Wenyu LIU 2021Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,3:2
7Impedance Modeling and Stability Analysis of a Three-phase Three-level NPC Inverter Connected to the Grid显示文摘The interaction between grid-connected inverters and the grid may cause stability issues,and compromise the reliable operation of the inverters.This study investigates the stability of a three-level neutral point clamped(NPC)inverter connected to the grid using impedance-based methods.Because the impedance model of a three-phase three-level NPC inverter has not yet been reported,this study fills the literature gap by analyzing the influence of three-level DC-side neutral point control on the impedance characteristics.By fully considering the DC bus dynamics and DC voltage control loop,and the current loop and phase-locked loop(PLL),the admittance model of a three-phase three-level NPC inverter is established and verified by simulation.Additionally,in the stability analysis of a threelevel NPC inverter grid-connected system,the frequency coupling introduced by the PLL and DC bus dynamics is included with the help of an established admittance model.The stability of the grid-connected system under different grid short circuit ratios(SCR)and operating power levels is analyzed according to the Nyquist stability criterion.The experimental results revealed that the established impedance model of the three-phase three-level NPC inverter can properly represent the stability of this system.Bo Zhang Xiong Du Jingbo Zhao Jiapei Zhou Xiaoming Zou 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,2:2
8Ternary BiOBr/TiO2/Ti3C2Tx MXene nanocomposites with heterojunction structure and improved photocatalysis performance显示文摘The rational design and construction of heterojunction structure is an effective strategy to improve the photocatalytic performance.Herein,a series of BiOBr nanosheets-immobilized TiO2/Ti3C2Tx MXene hybrid materials with heterojunction structure were synthesized by a facial one-step hydrothermal method.The ternary composites show outstanding performance as photocatalysts for the degradation of rhodamine B due to the optimized synergetic effects of BiOBr,TiO2 and Ti3C2Tx.The improved photocatalytic performance is remarkably attributed to the construction of a heterojunction between TiO2 and BiOBr due to their well-matching of energy band position,which can enhance the absorption for visible light and promote the transfer of photo-generated charge carriers.Moreover,Ti3C2Tx acts as an electron trap to further accelerate the separation of photo-generated electrons and holes.Tianxiang Xu Jiapei Wang Ye Cong Song Jiang Qin Zhang Hui Zhu Yanjun Li Xuanke Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,4:2

10Distributed cache replacement method for geospatial data using spatiotemporal localitybased sequence显示文摘Specific features of tile access patterns can be applied in a cache replacement strategy to a limited distributed high-speed cache for the cloud-based networked geographic information services(NGISs),aiming to adapt to changes in the access distribution of hotspots.By taking advantage of the spatiotemporal locality,the sequential features in tile access patterns,and the cache reading performance in the burst mode,this article proposes a tile sequence replacement method,which involves structuring a Least Recently Used(LRU)stack into three portions for the different functions in cache replacement and deriving an expression for the temporal locality and popularity of the relevant tile to facilitate the replacement process.Based on the spatial characteristics of both the tiles and the cache burst mode with regard to reading data,the proposed method generates multiple tile sequences to reflect spatiotemporal locality in tile access patterns.Then,we measure the caching value by a technique based on a weighted-based method.This technique draws on the recent access popularity and low caching costs of tile sequences,with the aim of balancing the temporal and spatial localities in tile access.It ranks tile sequences in a replacement queue to adapt to the changes in accessed hotspots while reducing the replacement frequency.Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively improves the hit rate and utilization rate for a limited distributed cache while achieving satisfactory response performance and high throughput for users in an NGIS.Therefore,it can be adapted to handle numerous data access requests in NGISs in a cloud-based environment.Rui LI Jiapei FAN Xinxing WANG Zhen ZHOU Huayi WU 2015Geo-Spatial Information Science2015,18,4:1

19Organophosphate esters in sediment from Taihu Lake,China:Bridging the gap between riverine sources and lake sinks显示文摘Surface sediment samples from Taihu Lake in China and its inflow rivers,along with two lake sediment core samples,were collected and analyzed for organophosphate esters(OPEs).The concentrations of total OPEs varied from 28.60 ng/g to 158.72 ng/g(median:54.25 ng/g)in river surface sediment and from 62.57 ng/g to 326.84 ng/g(median:86.37 ng/g)in lake sediment.Tributyl phosphate(TnBP)was the predominant compound in river surface sediment,and tris(2-butoxyethyl)phosphate was predominant in lake sediment.High contamination occurred in the north-west region,which was related to the high level of urbanization and high usage of OPEs.The sediment–water partition coefficients of OPEs(log_(Koc))were calculated,showing a significant correlation with logKow(p<0.05).The concentration and composition of OPEs in two sediment cores varied due to the different sampling locations,with more OPE species found in the northern region than in the southern one.Principal component analysis and positive matrix factorization indicated that sewage discharges,vehicle emissions,and atmospheric deposition were the possible sources of OPEs in Taihu Lake sediments.Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl)phosphate,tris(2-chloroethyl)phosphate,and TnBP were the main OPEs causing ecological risks.Wenping Zhang Changsheng Guo Jiapei Lv Xu Li Jian Xu 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,3:1
