1Robust adaptive control for a nonholonomic mobile robot with unknown parameters显示文摘A robust adaptive controller for a nonholonomic mobile robot with unknown kinematic and dynamic parameters is proposed.A kinematic controller whose output is the input of the relevant dynamic controller is provided by using the concept of backstepping.An adaptive algorithm is developed in the kinematic controller to approximate the unknown kinematic parameters,and a simple single-layer neural network is used to express the highly nonlinear robot dynamics in terms of the known and unknown parameters.In order to attenuate the effects of the uncertainties and disturbances on tracking performance,a sliding mode control term is added to the dynamic controller.In the deterministic design of feedback controllers for the uncertain dynamic systems,upper bounds on the norm of the uncertainties are an important clue to guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system.However,sometimes these upper bounds may not be easily obtained because of the complexity of the structure of the uncertainties.Thereby,simple adaptation laws are proposed to approximate upper bounds on the norm of the uncertainties to address this problem.The stability of the proposed control system is shown through the Lyapunov method.Lastly,a design example for a mobile robot with two actuated wheels is provided and the feasibility of the controller is demonstrated by numerical simulations.Jinbo WU Guohua XU Zhouping YIN 2009控制理论与应用(英文版)2009,7,2:9
2Photosynthesis, chilling acclimation and the response of antioxidant enzymes to chilling stress in mulberry seedlings显示文摘This study investigates the effects of cold-acclimation in conferring chilling tolerance in seedlings of the mulberry(Morus alba) variety ‘Qiuyu’. Changes in photosynthesis and antioxidant enzymes in chilling acclimatized(CA), and non-acclimatized(NA) seedlings were recorded during chilling stress(3 °C) and a recovery period(25 °C) each for 3 days. The results showed that CA plants had higher net photosynthetic rates(P_n), stomatal conductance(G_s), and maximum photochemical efficiency of photosystem Ⅱ(F_v/F_m) in response to chilling stress compared to NA. The seedlings maintained the same trends during the recovery stage. The responses of Q_A reduction degree (1-q_P) and prime electronic transfer rates(F_o) were lower in acclimatized than in non-acclimatized seedlings. Low-temperature acclimation and chilling stress also caused an increase in leaf proline and soluble sugar contents. Leaf malondialdehyde levels were significantly lower while ascorbate peroxidase(APX) activity was significantly higher in acclimatized seedlings, suggesting that elevated osmolytes and APX confer resistance to chilling temperatures. In this study on the response of mulberry seedlings to chilling stress, we also looked at the recovery process. 3Probability estimation based on grey system theory for simulation evaluation显示文摘In the evaluation of some simulation systems, only small samples data are gotten due to the limited conditions. In allusion to the evaluation problem of small sample data, an interval estimation approach with the improved grey confidence degree is proposed.On the basis of the definition of grey distance, three kinds of definition of the grey weight for every sample element in grey estimated value are put forward, and then the improved grey confidence degree is designed. In accordance with the new concept, the grey interval estimation for small sample data is deduced. Furthermore,the bootstrap method is applied for more accurate grey confidence interval. Through resampling of the bootstrap, numerous small samples with the corresponding confidence intervals can be obtained. Then the final confidence interval is calculated from the union of these grey confidence intervals. In the end, the simulation system evaluation using the proposed method is conducted. 4Genomic characterization of SARS-CoV-2 identified in a reemerging COVID-19 outbreak in Beijing's Xinfadi market in 2020显示文摘After 56 days without coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)cases,reemergent cases were reported in Beijing,China on June 11,2020.Here,we report the genetic characteristics of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)sequenced from the clinical specimens of 4 human cases and 2 environmental samples.The nucleotide similarity among six SARS-CoV-2 genomes ranged from 99.98%to 99.99%.Compared with the reference strain of SARS-CoV-2(GenBank No.NC_045512),all six genome sequences shared the same substitutions at nt241(C→T),nt3037(C→T),nt14408(C→T),nt23403(A→G),nt28881(G→A),nt28882(G→A),and nt28883(G→C),which are the characteristic nucleotide substitutions of L-lineage European branch I.This was also proved by themaximum likelihood phylogenetic tree based on the full-length genome of SARS-CoV-2.They also have a unique shared nucleotide substitution,nt6026(C→T),which is the characteristic nucleotide substitution of SARS-CoV-2 in Beijing's Xinfadi outbreak.It is noteworthy that there is an amino acid D614Gmutation caused by nt23403 substitution in all six genomes,which may enhance the virus's infectivity in humans and help it become the leading strain of the virus to spread around the world today.It is necessary to continuously monitor the genetic variation of SARS-CoV-2,focusing on the influence of key mutation sites of SARS-CoV-2 on viral transmission,clinical manifestations,severity,and course of disease.Yong Zhang Yang Pan Xiang Zhao Weifeng Shi Zhixiao Chen Sheng Zhang Peipei Liu Jinbo Xiao Wenjie Tan Dayan Wang William J.Liu Wenbo Xu Quanyi Wang Guizhen Wu 2020Biosafety and Health2020,2,4:3

7Targeted therapeutics and novel signaling pathways in nonalcohol-associated fatty liver/steatohepatitis(NAFL/NASH)显示文摘Non-alcohol-associated fatty liver/steatohepatitis(NAFL/NASH)has become the leading cause of liver disease worldwide.NASH,an advanced form of NAFL,can be progressive and more susceptible to developing cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.Currently,lifestyle interventions are the most essential and effective strategies for preventing and controlling NAFL without the development of fibrosis.While there are stll limited appropriate drugs specifically to treat NAFL/NASH,growing progress is being seen in elucidating the pathogenesis and identifying therapeutic targets.In this review,we discussed recent developments in etiology and prospective therapeutic targets,as well as pharmacological candidates in pre/clinical trials and patents,with a focus on diabetes,hepatic lipid metabolism,inflammation,and fibrosis.Importantly,growing evidence elucidates that the disruption of the gut-liver axis and microbederived metabolites drive the pathogenesis of NAFL/NASH.Extracellular vesicles(EVs)act as a signaling mediator,resulting in lipid accumulation,macrophage and hepatic stellate cell activation,further promoting inflammation and liver fibrosis progression during the development of NAFL/NASH.Targeting gut microbiota or EVs may serve as new strategies for the treatment of NAFL/NASH.Finally,other mechanisms,such as cell therapy and genetic approaches,also have enormous therapeutic potential.Incorporating drugs with different mechanisms and personalized medicine may improve the efficacy to better benefit patients with NAFL/NASH.Xiaohan Xu Kyle L.Poulsen Ljuan Wu Shan Liu Tatsunori Miyata Qiaoling Song Qingda Wei Chenyang Zhao Chunhua Lin Jinbo Yang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9:2
8Non-Algorithmically Integrating Land Use Type with Spatial Interpolation of Surface Soil Nutrients in an Urbanizing Watershed显示文摘Integrating land use type and other geographic information within spatial interpolation has been proposed as a solution to improve the performance and accuracy of soil nutrient mapping at the regional scale.This study developed a non-algorithm approach,i.e.,applying inverse distance weighting(IDW) and ordinary kriging(OK),to individual land use types rather than to the whole watershed,to determine if this improved the performance in mapping soil total C(TC),total N(TN),and total P(TP) in a 200-km2 urbanizing watershed in Southeast China.Four land use types were identified by visual interpretation as forest land,agricultural land,green land,and urban land.One hundred and fifty soil samples(0-10 cm) were taken according to land use type and patch size.Results showed that the non-algorithm approach,interpolation based on individual land use types,substantially improved the performance of IDW and OK for mapping TC,TN,and TP in the watershed.Root mean square errors were reduced by 3.9%for TC,10.7%for TN,and 25.9%for TP by the application of IDW,while the improvements by OK were slightly lower as 0.9%for TC,7.7%for TN,and 18.1%for TP.Interpolations based on individual land use types visually improved depiction of spatial patterns for TC,TN,and TP in the watershed relative to interpolations by the whole watershed.Substantial improvements might be expected with denser sampling points.We suggest that this non-algorithm approach might provide an alternative to algorithm-based approaches to depict watershed-scale nutrient patterns.WU Qian LI Qingliang GAO Jinbo LIN Qiaoying XU Qiufang Peter M.GROFFMAN YU Shen 2017Pedosphere2017,27,1:2

12Synthesis of graphene oxide nanoribbons/chitosan composite membranes for the removal of uranium from aqueous solutions显示文摘In this study,a graphene oxide nanoribbons/chitosan(GONRs/CTS)composite membrane was successfully prepared by encapsulating CTS into GONRs,which were unzipped from multi-walled carbon nanotubes.The GONRs/CTS composite membrane so prepared was characterized using scanning electron microscopy,X-Ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The effects of the experimental conditions such as the pH(2-7),adsorbent dosage(10-50mg),experimental time(5min-32h),uranium concentration(25-300mg·L^-1),experimental temperature(298K-328K)on the adsorption properties of the composite membrane for the removaal of U(VI)were investigated.The results showed that the U(VI)adsorption process of the GONRs/CTS composite membrane was pH-dependent,rapid,spontaneous and endothermic.The adsorption process followed the pseudosecondary kinetics and Langmuir models.The maximum U(VI)adsorption capacity of the GONRs/CTS composite membrane was calculated to be 320mg·g^-1.Hence,the GONRs/CTS composite membrane prepared in this study was found to be suitable for separating and recovering uranium from wastewater.Xuewen Hu Yun Wang Jinbo Ou Yang Yang Li Peng Wu Hengju Zhang Dingzhong Yuan Yan Liu Zhenyu Wu Zhirong Liu 2020Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,6:1

15Enhanced capacitive energy storage and dielectric temperature stability of A-site disordered high-entropy perovskite oxides显示文摘In this work,a novel high entropy perovskite oxide(1-x)(Na_(0.2)Bi_(0.2)Ba_(0.2)Sr_(0.2)Ca_(0.2))TiO_(3-x)NaNbO_(3)(abbrevi-ated as(1-x)NBBSCT-x NN,x=0,0.05,0.1,0.15,and 0.2)was designed to improve temperature dielectric stability and energy storage performance by combining relaxor and antiferroelectric characteristics.The optimal composition of x=0.2 exhibits a high energy storage density of 3.51 J/cm^(3),together with wide temperature stable stability(■<15%,-70 to 110℃),excellent frequency stability(W rec andηvary by only±2.1%and±5.2%within the range of 1-600 Hz)and fast discharge rate(t_(0.9)=55.2 ns).This is mainly due to the enhancement of relaxation behavior and increase of E b caused by the decrease of grain size.These results offer a new strategy for designing high entropy ceramic materials of high performance in the future.Yating Ning Yongping Pu Chunhui Wu Shiyu Zhou Lei Zhang Jinbo Zhang Xian Zhang Yangchao Shang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,14:1
