1Time-domain analysis methodology for large-scale RLC circuits and its applications显示文摘With soaring work frequency and decreasing feature sizes, VLSI circuits with RLC parasitic components are more like analog circuits and should be carefully analyzed in physical design. However, the number of extracted RLC components is typically too large to be analyzed efficiently by using present analog circuit simulators like SPICE. In order to speedup the simulations without error penalty, this paper proposes a novel methodology to compress the time-descritized circuits resulted from numerical integration approximation at every time step. The main contribution of the methodology is the efficient structure-level compression of DC circuits containing many current sources, which is an important complement to present circuit analysis theory. The methodology consists of the following parts: 1) An approach is proposed to delete all intermediate nodes of RL branches. 2) An efficient approach is proposed to compress and back-solve parallel and serial branches so that it is error-free and of linear complexity to analyze circuits of tree topology. 3) The Y toπtransformation method is used to error-free reduce and back-solve the intermediate nodes of ladder circuits with the linear complexity. Thus, the whole simulation method is very accurate and of linear complexity to analyze circuits of chain topology. Based on the methodology, we propose several novel algorithms for efficiently solving RLC-model transient power/ground (P/G) networks. Among them, EQU-ADI algorithm of linear-complexity is proposed to solve RLC P/G networks with mesh-tree or mesh-chain topologies. 3Reconstruction of a hybrid nucleoside antibiotic gene cluster based on scarless modification of large DNA fragments显示文摘Genetic modification of large DNA fragments(gene clusters) is of great importance in synthetic biology and combinatorial biosynthesis as it facilitates rational design and modification of natural products to increase their value and productivity.In this study,we developed a method for scarless and precise modification of large gene clusters by using RecET/RED-mediated polymerase chain reaction(PCR) targeting combined with Gibson assembly.In this strategy,the biosynthetic genes for peptidyl moieties(HPHT) in the nikkomycin biosynthetic gene cluster were replaced with those for carbamoylpolyoxamic acid(CPOAA)from the polyoxin biosynthetic gene cluster to generate a^40 kb hybrid gene cluster in Escherichia coli with a reusable targeting cassette.The reconstructed cluster was introduced into Streptomyces lividans TK23 for heterologous expression and the expected hybrid antibiotic,polynik A,was obtained and verified.This study provides an efficient strategy for gene cluster reconstruction and modification that could be applied in synthetic biology and combinatory biosynthesis to synthesize novel bioactive metabolites or to improve antibiotic production.Jiming Zhuo Binbin Ma Jingjing Xu Weihong Hu Jihui Zhang Huarong Tan Yuqing Tian 2017Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,9:6
4Effect of Sb-site nonstoichiometry on the structure and microwave dielectric properties of Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(1-x)O_(6) ceramics显示文摘The non-stoichiometric Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(1-x)O_(6)(0.05≤x≤0.125)compounds have been prepared via the mixed oxide method.The influences of Sb nonstoichiometry on the sintering behavior,microstructure,phase composition along with microwave dielectric performances for Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(1-x)O_(6) ceramics were studied.Combined with X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman spectra,it was confirmed that phase composition could not be affected by the Sb nonstoichiometry and almost pure phase Li_(3)Mg_(2)SbO_(6) was formed in all compositions.Appropriate Sb-deficiency in Li_(3)Mg_(2)SbO_(6) not only lowered its sintering temperature but also remarkably improved its Q×f value.In particular,non-stoichiometric Li_(3)Mg_(2)Sb_(0.9)O_(6) ceramics sintered at 1250℃/5 h owned seldom low dielectric constant ε_(r)=10.8,near-zero resonant frequency temperature coefficient τ_(f)=-8.0 ppm/℃,and high quality factor Q×f=86,300 GHz(at 10.4 GHz).This study provides an alternative approach to ameliorate its dielectric performances for Li_(3)Mg_(2)SbO_(6)-based compounds through defect-engineering.Cuijin PEI Jingjing TAN Yang LI Guoguang YAO Yanmin JIA Zhaoyu REN Peng LIU Huaiwu ZHANG 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,5:6
560 Years of Development of the Journal of Integrative Plant Biology显示文摘In celebration of JIPB's 60 th anniversary,this paper summarizes and reviews the development process of the journal.To start,we offer our heartfelt thanks to JIPB's pioneer Editors-in-Chief who helped get the journal off the ground and make it successful.Academic achievement is the soul of academic journals,and this paper summarizes JIPB's course of academic development by analyzing it in four stages:the first two stages are mostly qualitative analyses,and the latter two stages are dedicated to quantitative analyses.Most-cited papers were statistically analyzed.Improvements in editing,publication,distribution and online accessibility-which are detailed in this paper-contribute to JIPB's sustainable development.In addition,JIPB's evaluation index and awards are provided with accompanying pictures.At the end of the paper,JIPB's milestones are listed chronologically.We believe that JIPB's development,from a national journal to an international one,parallels the development of the Chinese plant sciences.Jinzhong Cui Ping He Fenghong Liu Jingjing Tan Lingfeng Chen Joshua Fenn 2012Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2012,54,10:5
6Up-regulation of P2X7 Receptors Contributes to Spinal Microglial Activation and the Development of Pain Induced by BmK-I显示文摘Previous work has demonstrated that the sensitization of spinal neurons and microglia is important in the development of pain behaviors induced by BmK I,a Na^+ channel activator and a major peptide component of the venom of the scorpion Buthus martensi Karsch(BmK).We found that the expression of P2X7 receptors(P2X7Rs)was up-regulated in the ipsilateral spinal dorsal horn after BmK I injection in rats.P2X7R was selectively localized in microglia but not astrocytes or neurons.Similarly,interleukin 1β(IL-1β)was selectively up-regulated in microglia in the spinal dorsal horn after BmK I injection.Intrathecal injection of P2X7R antagonists largely reduced BmK I-induced spontaneous and evoked pain behaviors,and the up-regulation of P2X7R and IL-1β in the spinal cord.These data suggested that the up-regulation of P2X7Rs mediates microglial activation in the spinal dorsal horn,and therefore contributes to the development of BmK I-induced pain.Jingjing Zhou Xiaoxue Zhang You Zhou Bin Wu Zhi-Yong Tan 2019Neuroscience Bulletin2019,35,4:4
7New Fossil Beetles of the Family Ommatidae (Coleoptera: Archostemata) from the Jehol Biota of China显示文摘A new genus with one new species and five new species of genus Amblomma of fossil ommatids are described and illustrated: Euryomma tylodes gen. et sp. nov., Amblomma cyclodonta sp. nov., Amblomma miniscula sp. nov., Amblomma porrecta sp. nov., Amblomma eumeura sp. nov., and Amblomma protensa sp. nov. All of them were collected from the Upper Jurassic or Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation of western Liaoning, China. A key to the species of Amblomma is given. The wide epipleural space shows that Euryomma may be a primitive genus in Ommatidae. 12Awareness intervention for Beijing neurologists regarding secondary prevention of cerebral infarction/transient ischemia Cross-sectional investigation显示文摘BACKGROUND: Stroke prevention guidelines should be made available to neurologists for clinical application to aid in uniformity, timing, preciseness, and acceptance of disease. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the awareness of neurologists in some Beijing hospitals of intervention in secondary prevention of cerebral infarction/transient ischemia. DESIGN: Cross-sectional study. SETTING: Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Beijing Anzhen Hospital, General Hospital of Beijing Military Area, Command of Chinese PLA, Beijing Chuiyangliu Hospital, Beijing 6th Hospital, Beijing Hepingli Hospital, and Beijing Daxing District Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 28 (associate) chief physicians, 58 attending physicians, and 54 resident physicians who engaged in clinical treatment of cerebrovascular diseases were selected from 8 hospitals in Beijing from March to April 2007. All physicians provided informed consent. METHODS: Self-made closed questionnaires were provided for data collection, consisting of 16 questions that were single choice or multiple choice. Specifically, questions 1-7 focused on awareness of blood pressure regulation in different patients and first choice of decompression drug; questions 8-12 focused on awareness of lipid regulation; and questions 13-16 focused on awareness of anti-blood platelet drugs applied in secondary prevention. The scores ranged from 0-100 points, and each question was worth 6.25 points. The scores positively correlated with the awareness rate. To test leveling real-time, the survey lasted for a maximum of 20 minutes. One questionnaire was independently finished by each subject in the survey. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Awareness intervention among neurologists during secondary prevention of cerebral infarction/transient ischemia and questionnaire scores. RESULTS: 140 subjects were included in the final analysis. ① The awareness rate among neurologists for intervention during secondary prevention of cerebral infarction/transient ischemia ranged from 0.7-57.9%, the scores ranged between 0-56 points, and the mean score was 26 points. ② Scores of resident physicians were 0-56 points with a mean score of 26 points; attending physicians scored 6-50 points, with a mean score of 26 points; and chief physicians scored 6-50 points, with a mean score of 23 points. There were no significant differences among the various physicians (F = 0.771, t = 0.465, P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Awareness among neurologists of intervention during secondary prevention of cerebral infarction/transient ischemia is not ideal.
