2Neuritin promotes angiogenesis through inhibition of DLL4/Notch signaling pathway显示文摘Neuritin is a member of the neurotrophic factor family,which plays an important role in the promotion and development of the nervous system.Neuritin is also involved in angiogenesis.Neuritin was recently found to be a negative regulatory factor of the Notch 1 signaling pathway.Notch signaling pathway is known as a regulatory pathway of angiogenesis.Thus,neuritin may play a role in angiogenesis through the Notch signaling pathway.In the present study,we investigated the expressions of neuritin and Notch signaling pathway factors in the pulmonary vascular tissue.The results showed that neuritin expression was increased in the paraneoplastic vascular tissue and decreased in the lung cancer vascular tissue.The neuritin expression was increased with the increase of vascular tissue density,and a negative correlation between neuritin expression and delta-like ligand 4(DLL4)was identified in vascular tissues of lung cancer.Overexpression of neuritin in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)inhibited the expressions of Notch signaling pathway-associated factors,including DLL4,NICD,and Hes-1,and promoted the migration and tubular formation of HUVECs.In conclusion,our results indicated that neuritin is involved in angiogenesis and may play a role in angiogenesis through the Notch signaling pathway.This study provides a theoretical basis for clinical anti-angiogenesis therapy.Li Yang Xuhui Wang Jiawei Sun Chunyan Liu Guoxiang Li Jingling Zhu Jin Huang 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6:4
3The influences of biotic and abiotic factors on the occurrence and severity of poplar canker disease in Qingfeng County, China and the management implications显示文摘Landscape pathology is a research approach that can provide validation of the effectiveness of regional controls of forest disease at a landscape scale. In this paper,we analyzed the effects of stand features, management approaches, and geographical locations on poplar canker disease incidence(DI) and disease severity index(DSI) of individual trees at a 10 km ×10 km mesoscale landscape in Qingfeng County, China. DI varied significantly with stand age, tree densities, and the degree of canopy closure.DI in stands younger than 4 years old was significantly lower than that in the stands over 6 years old and reached the highest value at a stand age of 8–10 years. Overall, DI was positively correlated with stand age, stand density, and the degree of canopy closure. DI was significantly lower in agro-forest stand patches than in other three patch types,i.e. isolated patch, pure stand patch, and mixed stand patch.Poplar plantations distributed around and near to villages exhibited significantly higher DI mainly due to human activities and herbivores. Fragmentation or connectivity in this mesoscale landscape seemed not impact disease occurrence. DSI was not significantly correlated with stand density, but varied significantly with tree varieties and trees ages. DSI was highest in stands of 10–12 year trees for all poplar varieties we studied here. Plantation density and plantation age were thus critical factors in determining DI and DSI. A logistic predictive model of disease occurrence was developed for the study area, considering varieties,age, height, density, canopy cover, stand types, patch types,management status, and stand geographical locations. 4Efficient ozone decomposition over bifunctional Co_(3)Mn-layered double hydroxide with strong electronic interaction显示文摘Ground-level ozone is one of the primary pollutants detrimental to human health and ecosystems.Catalytic ozone decomposition still suffers from low efficiency and unsatisfactory stability.In this work,we report a manganese-based layered double hydroxide catalyst(Co_(3)Mn-LDH),which exhibited a superior ozone decomposition performance with the efficiency of 100% and stability over 7 h under a GHSV of 2,000,000 mL g^(-1)h^(-1) and relative humidity of 15%.Even when the relative humidity increased to 50%,the ozone decomposition also reached 86%,which significantly exceeds as-synthesized MnO_(2) and commercial MnO_(2) in performance.The catalytic mechanism was studied by H_(2)-TPR,FT-IR and XPS.The excellent performance of Co_(3)Mn-LDH can be attributed to its abundant surface hydroxyl groups that ensured the preferentially surface enrichment of ozone,as well as the cyclic dynamic replenishment of electrons between multivalent Co^(2+)/Co^(3+),Mn^(2+)/Mn^(3+)/Mn^(4+)and oxygen species that endowed the stable ozone decomposition.This work offers new insights into the design of efficient catalysts for ozone pollution control.Bin Liu Minxian Zhang Jingling Yang Mingshan Zhu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10:2

11Lactate regulates major zygotic genome activation by H3K18 lactylation in mammals显示文摘Lactate is present at a high level in the microenvironment of mammalian preimplantation embryos in vivo and in vitro.However,its role in preimplantation development is unclear.Here,we report that lactate is highly enriched in the nuclei of early embryos when major zygotic genome activation(ZGA)occurs in humans and mice.The inhibition of its production and uptake results in developmental arrest at the 2-cell stage,major ZGA failure,and loss of lactate-derived H3K18lac,which could be rescued by the addition of Lac-CoA and recapitulated by overexpression of H3K18R mutation.By profiling the landscape of H3K18lac during mouse preimplantation development,we show that H3K18lac is enriched on the promoter regions of most major ZGA genes and correlates with their expressions.In humans,H3K18lac is also enriched in ZGA markers and temporally concomitant with their expressions.Taken together,we profile the landscapes of H3K18lac in mouse and human preimplantation embryos,and demonstrate the important role for H3K18lac in major ZGA,showing that a conserved metabolic mechanism underlies preimplantation development of mammalian embryos.Jingyu Li Weibo Hou Qi Zhao Wei Han Hongdi Cui Songling Xiao Ling Zhu Jiadan Qu Xiaoyu Liu Weitao Cong Jingling Shen Yuzheng Zhao Shaorong Gao Guoning Huang Qingran Kong 2024National Science Review2024,11,2:0
12Simulated Reflectance of Apple Trees in Canopy Level Based on the PROSAIL Model and HJ-1A-HSI Data显示文摘Using the PROSAIL radiation transfer model and HJ-1A-HSI data to simulate the canopy reflectivity of apple trees, this study lays the foundation for the inversion of canopy parameters. Taking Qixia City of Yantai City, Shandong Province as the research area, the apple tree was taken as the research object, and the hyperspectral reflectance, LAI and sample GPS of apple canopy were measured in the field. The parameters required for the PROSAIL model were obtained by experimental methods. The model simulates the reflectivity;the HSI image data is preprocessed, and the canopy reflectivity is extracted by GPS coordinates. The PROSAIL model and the HSI image simulated reflectance were fitted to the measured apple canopy reflectivity. The decisive factor (R2) of the simulated reflectance and the measured reflectance of the PROSAIL model was 0.9944, and the relative error (RE%)was 0.1845. The HSI data simulated reflectance and measured reflectance. The coefficient of determination is 0.9714 and the relative error is 0.6202. 13Inversion of Canopy Nitrogen Content in Apple Orchard Based on GF-1 Satellite Image显示文摘The apple orchard in Qixia City, Yantai City, Shandong Province was used as the research area. The nitrogen content inversion of apple canopy was studied by using the satellite remote sensing images of GF-1. On the basis of GF-1 satellite multispectral image preprocessing, vegetation index was extracted by band math. The nitrogen sensitive vegetation index of apple canopy was selected by correlation analysis of nitrogen content in apple canopy. The best inversion model for the nitrogen content of apple canopy was selected by establishing the regression model of univariate and multivariate factors. The nitrogen content of the canopy of apple orchard in the study area was inverted in space. The results showed that the 6 vegetation indices of RVI, NDVI, EVI, VARI, NPCI and NRI were better correlated with nitrogen content in the vegetation index based on GF-1 satellite multispectral imaging. The best inversion model of nitrogen content in apple canopy layer is the multivariate stepwise regression (MSR) model: Nc = 35.74– 41.978^*NPCI-10.78^*NDVI. The R^2 and RMSE of the model was 0.69 and 1.07. The spatial inversion of nitrogen content in apple orchard canopy was obtained. 14Neuritin affects the activity of neuralized-like 1 by promoting degradation and weakening its affinity for substrate显示文摘Neuritin plays a key role in neural development and regeneration by promoting neurite outgrowth and synapse maturation.Our previous research revealed the mechanism by which neuritin inhibits Notch signaling through interaction with neuralized-like 1(Neurl1)to promote neurite growth.However,how neuritin regulates Notch signaling through Neurl1 has not been elucidated.Here,we first confirm that neuritin is an upstream regulator of Neurl1 and inhibits Notch signaling through Neurl1.Neurl1 is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that can promote ubiquitination and endocytosis of the Notch1 ligand Jagged1.Therefore,we observe the effect of neuritin on the ligase activity of Neurl1.The results indicate that neuritin inhibits Neurl1 activity by reducing the ubiquitination level and endocytosis of the target protein Jagged1.Moreover,we find that decreased activity of Neurl1 results in reduced expression of Notch receptor Notch intracellular domain(NICD)and downstream target gene hairy and enhancer of split-1(HES1).Furthermore,we investigate how neuritin affects Neurl1 enzyme activity.The results show that neuritin not only weakens the affinity between Neurl1 and Jagged1 but also promotes the degradation of Neurl1 by the 26S proteasome pathway.Taken together,our results suggest that neuritin negatively regulates Notch signaling by inhibiting the activity of Neurl1,promoting the degradation of Neurl1 and weakening the affinity of Neurl1 for Jagged1.Our study clarifies the molecular mechanisms of neuritin in regulating the Notch signaling pathway and provides new clues about how neuritin mediates neural regeneration and plasticity.Jingling Zhu Yu Li Chen Zhong Meiyi Zhu Yan Zheng Anying Xiong Pingping Meng Liya Shan Yang Li Jin Huang 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,10:0

17Nitrogen Estimation Model of Apple Leaves Based on Imaging Spectroscopy显示文摘Imaging spectrometer was used to measure the spectral data of apple leaves.The spectral reflectance of apple leaves was extracted.The nitrogen content of apple leaves was correlated with the spectral reflectance after SG smoothing first-order differential treatment.The sensitive wavelengths were selected and nitrogen content prediction models were founded.The results showed that the spectral of apple leaves with different concentration gradients were obvious.The higher nitrogen content was,the lower spectral reflectance was.Established estimation models by using the selected SG smooth first-order differential spectral sensitive wavelengths SG-FDR403,SG-FDR469,SG-FDR525,SG-FDR566,SG-FDR650,SG-FDR696,SG-FDR781,SG-FDR851,SG-FDR933.The determined coefficient(R^2)of the partial least squares model was 0.5202.The root mean square error(RMSE)of that was 2.19 and the relative error(RE)of that was 5.89%.The R^2 of the support vector machine(SVM)model was 0.724.The RMSE of that was 1.94,and the RE of that was 5.13%.It is indicated that the SVM model can estimate the nitrogen content of apple leaves effectively.Xin Wen Xicun Zhu Shujing Cao Xiaoyan Guo Ruiyang Yu Jingling Xiong Dongsheng Gao 2018遥感科学(中英文版)2018,6,1:0
18Transcriptomic and Physiological Analyses of Pigment Accumulation in Eucommia ulmoides‘Hongye’显示文摘Eucommia ulmoides‘Hongye’is a new ornamental variety of E.ulmoides with excellent red or purple foliage.We found that E.ulmoides‘Hongye’exhibited a gradual change from green to red colour under light conditions.However,the colouring mechanism in the leaves of E.ulmoides‘Hongye’remains unclear.In this study,we compared the pigment content and leaf colour index of E.ulmoides‘Hongye’at five stages with those of E.ulmoides‘Xiaoye’,which was used as the control variety.The transcriptome sequencing data of the first-period(H1,green)and fifth-period(H5,red)leaves were also analysed and compared.The corresponding gene regulation in anthocyanin-related metabolic pathways was then analysed.Physiological results indicated that the contents of flavonoids and anthocyanins in red leaves(H5)were significantly higher than those in green leaves(H1),whereas the chlorophyll content in red leaves(H5)was lower than that in green leaves(H1).Moreover,the carotenoid content did not significantly differ between the two varieties.A transcriptome analysis identified 4240 differentially expressed genes(DEGs),and 20 of these genes were found to be involved in flavonoid and anthocyanin biosynthesis pathways.The results provide a reference for further study of the leaf colouration mechanism in E.ulmoides.Mengjiao Chen Jinhui Zhai Jiajia Zhang Hui Li Xinjiang Niu Yaxin Liu Yue Ren Hongyan Du Jingle Zhu 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,5:0
