| 1 | Shuganjieyu capsule increases neurotrophic factor expression in a rat model of depression显示文摘Shuganjieyu capsule has been approved for clinical treatment by the State Food and Drug Administration of China since 2008. In the clinic, Shuganjieyu capsule is often used to treat mild to moderate depression. In the rat model of depression established in this study, Shuganjieyu capsule was administered intragastrically daily before stress. Behavioral results confirmed that depressive symptoms lessened after treatment with high-dose(150 mg/kg) Shuganjieyu capsule. Immunohistochemistry results showed that high-dose Shuganjieyu capsule significantly increased phosphorylation levels of phosphorylation cyclic adenosine monophosphate response element binding protein and brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression in the medial prefrontal cortex and hippocampal CA3 area. | 2 | Object-based image analysis for mapping geomorphic zones of coral reefs in the Xisha Islands, China显示文摘Mapping regional spatial patterns of coral reef geomorphology provides the primary information to understand the constructive processes in the reef ecosystem. However, this work is challenged by the pixel-based image classification method for its comparatively low accuracy. In this paper, an object-based image analysis(OBIA)method was presented to map intra-reef geomorphology of coral reefs in the Xisha Islands, China using Landsat 8satellite imagery. Following the work of the Millennium Coral Reef Mapping Project, a regional reef class hierarchy with ten geomorphic classes was first defined. Then, incorporating the hierarchical concept and integrating the spectral and additional spatial information such as context, shape and contextual relationships, a large-scale geomorphic map was produced by OBIA with accuracies generally more than 80%. | 3 | STAT3 mediates resistance of CD44^+CD24^(-/low) breast cancer stem cells to tamoxifen in vitro显示文摘We sought to determine whether STAT3 mediated tamoxifen resistance of breast cancer stem cells in vitro.The capacities for mammosphere formation and STAT3 expression of CD44+CD24-/low MCF-7 and MCF-7 were observed.The CD44+CD24-/low subpopulation ratio and its sensitivity to adriamycin were analyzed in MCF-7 and TAM resistant(TAM-R) cells.Cell cycle,apoptosis,STAT3 and phospho-STAT3 changes were observed af-ter treatment with tamoxifen.Small interference RNA-mediated knockdown of STAT3 in TAM-R cells was also performed.CD44+CD24-/low MCF-7 showed higher capacities for mammosphere formation and STAT3 expression than total MCF-7.The CD44+CD24-/low subpopulation was also upregulated in TAM-R cells with less sensitivity to adriamycin than MCF-7.Cell cycle changes,anti-apoptotic effects and STAT3 changes were also found.Mean-while,the knock-down of STAT3 in TAM-R resulted in an increase in sensitivity to tamoxifen.It is concluded that STAT3 plays an essential role in breast cancer stem cells,which correlated with tamoxifen resistance. | Xiaoyan Wang Guozhu Wang Yi Zhao Xiaoan Liu Qiang Ding Jingping Shi Yin Ding Shui Wang | 2012 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2012，26，5： | 6 |
| 4 | Study of SAR imaging with COMPASS signal显示文摘A concept of space-surface bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SS-BSAR) passive imaging system is proposed,which is parasitic on the signal of COMPASS Navigation Satellite System (CNSS).The feasibility is demonstrated by analyzing the signal ambiguity function and the range resolution as well as the system topology.Due to the multiple peaks of signal in the auto-correlation function,a new correlation is used to remove the side-peaks.A double-channel receiver is employed to receive the direct satellite signal and the ground reflected signal.The direct signal is a reference signal in range compression,and may also be used for transmitter-receiver signal synchronization.The reflected signal is raw data collected for imaging.Then,a modified range-Doppler imaging algorithm is derived based on the system geometric models and BSAR imaging principle.The proposed algorithm is verified via signal simulation.The work in this paper is of great value to the further use of COMPASS signal,as well as other global navigation satellite signals in passive imaging. | YE JiHai JIANG YueSong ZHAO JiZhi GUO JingPing | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011，54，6： | 5 |
| 5 | Atypical features and treatment choices in bipolar disorders:a result of the National Bipolar Mania Pathway Survey in China显示文摘In this study,we examined the point prevalence rate of atypical features in bipolar disorder,and estimated the potential impact of these features on treatment practices in China. Using the atypical features criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association(DSM-IV),we documented the atypical symptoms in 3 906 consecutive participants with bipolar disorder enrolled at 26 psychiatric services across China. We further assessed the association between atypical features and the treatment approaches,including the prescription of antidepressants. The overall point prevalence rate of atypical features was 9.1% among patients with various bipolar disorder subtypes. When the definition was broadened to include atypical features B,the overall rate increased to 11.8%. Interestingly,among patients with the mixed state and remission subtypes,there was a significant difference in the rates of antidepressant medication usage between patients who met and those who did not meet the criteria for atypical features B. These fi ndings indicate a trend of using antidepressants for these two types of patients with atypical features. Further,for both mixed state and remission patients,treatment approaches were related to atypicalfeatures B. | 6 | Cognitive effects of atypical antipsychotic drugs in first-episode drug-nave schizophrenic patients显示文摘Cognitive impairment is a core feature of schizophrenia. The present randomized open study enrolled antipsychotic-nave patients who were experiencing their first episode of schizophrenia. After baseline neurocognitive tests and clinical assessment, subjects were randomly assigned to olanzapine, risperidone and aripiprazole treatment groups. A battery of neurocognitive tests showed that risperidone produced cognitive benefits in all five cognitive domains, including verbal learning and memory, visual learning and memory, working memory, processing speed, and selective attention; olanzapine improved processing speed and selective attention; and aripiprazole improved visual learning and memory, and working memory. However, the three atypical antipsychotic drugs failed to reveal any significant differences in the composite cognitive scores at the study endpoint. In addition, the three drugs all significantly improved clinical measures without significant differences between the drugs after 6 months. These results suggest that the atypical antipsychotics, olanzapine, risperidone and aripiprazole may improve specific cognitive domains with similar global clinical efficacy. | 7 | Synthesis,structural characterization and properties of a 3D infinitely extended structural rare earth coordination compound of K_3{[Sm(H_2O)_7]_2Na[α-SiW_(11)O_(39)Sm(H_2O)_4]_2}·14 H_2O显示文摘A 3D infinitely extended structural rare earth coordination compound with a formula of K3{[Sm(H2O)7]2Na[a-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]2}·14H2O has been synthesized by reaction of Sm2O3,HClO4,NaOH with a-K8SiW11O39·nH2O,and characterized by IR,UV spectra,ICP,TG-DTA,cyclic voltammetry,variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and X-ray single-crystal diffrac-tion.X-ray single-crystal diffraction indicates that the title compound crystallizes in a triclinic lat-tice,Pi space group,with a = 1.2462(3) nm,b = 1.2652(3) nm,c = 1.8420(4) nm,α = 87.45(3)°,β = 79.91(3)°,γ = 82.57(3)°,Z = 1,R1 = 0.0778,wR2 = 0.1610.Structural analysis reveals that Sm3+(1) coordination cation has incorporated into the vacant site of [α-SiW11O39]8? entity,forming the [α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]5? subunit.The two adjacent [a-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]5? subunits are combined with each other through two Sm(1)-O-W bridges accompanying the formation of dim-mer structural unit [α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]210? of the title compound.The neighboring dimmer structural units [α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]210? are linked to form the 1D chainlike structure by means of two Sm3+(2) and a Na+(1) coordination cations.The K+(1) cations connect the 1D packing chains constructing the 2D netlike structure,and adjacent netlike layers are also grafted by K+(2) cations to build the novel 3D infinitely extended structure.The result of TG-DTA curves manifests that the decomposition temperature of the title polyanionic framework is 554℃.The cyclic volt-ammetry measurements show that the title polyanion has the two-step redox processes in aqueous solution with pH = 3.1.Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility indicates the title compound obeys the Cruie-Weiss Law in the higher temperature range from 110 to 300 K,while in the lower temperature range from 2 to 110 K the comparatively strong antiferromagnetism in-teractions can be observed. | WANG Jingping ZHAO Junwei NIU Jingyang | 2005 | Science China Chemistry2005，48，4： | 2 |
| 8 | Spatio-temporal Change and Carrying Capacity Evaluation of Human Coastal Utilization in Liaodong Bay,China from 1993 to 2015显示文摘In China, promoting the development of coastal areas has been included in a series of national strategic development plans.At the same time, many marine environmental problems have been associated with the rapid development of coastal sea use. In order to quantify the impact of human activities on the coast, the characteristics of coastlines and near-shore sea use of Liaodong Bay, Northeast China, were first classified using multi-source, remotely sensed imagery using automatic or semi-automatic extraction methods for five periods between 1993 and 2015. Sea use dynamics and coastline dynamics resulting from human activates were analyzed. Results showed a significant trend of continuous growth in sea use and a progressive increase in the total length of artificial coastline, but a noticeable loss of natural coastline during the five periods. Reclaimed land and enclosed areas were the main types of sea use. Most coastal human activities were distributed in the northern part of the bay. In recent years, rapid industrialization and urbanization in China's coastal areas have promoted large-scale land reclamation. Accordingly, the observed coastline changes during each period had a close relationship with coastal development and sea area utilization. Based on marine functional zoning(MFZ), the sea use carrying capacity was evaluated by means of indexes to describe human exploitation of the marine and coastal environments in the bay. This showed that the intensity of coastal utilization in Liaodong Bay has increased year-on-year. | 9 | Experimental Study on the Combustion and Energy Flows of Vehicle Engine Under NEDC of Cold Start显示文摘To enhance the fuel economy of a vehicle powered by a gasoline engine under road conditions,an energy flow test of a vehicle was performed experimentally under the New European Driving Cycle of cold start.The energy distributions and related influencing factors were analyzed using the test data.Results show that the effective power and thermal efficiency are mainly affected by the engine load except in the early stage of the New European Driving Cycle.Because of the retarded CA50 and longer CA10-90,the effective thermal efficiency is lower in the early phase of driving conditions.Initially,the heat transfer loss mainly comprises the loss of the heating,ventilation,and air conditioning system.The radiator then plays the major role,with its percentage affected by the engine load and decreasing under the extra-urban driving cycle.The exhaust gas loss is decided by the temperature and flow rate of the exhaust gas,while its percentage is mainly affected by the temperature of the exhaust gas.In the early phase of driving conditions,the retarded spark advance angle leads to a higher temperature of the exhaust gas and a greater exhaust gas loss.The pumping loss and its percentage are mainly determined by the engine speed under the urban driving cycle,and both decrease under the extra-urban driving cycle except at maximum vehicle speed. | Zhichao Zhao Zaiqiang Meng Lu Li Shuqian Wang Jianqin Fu Jingping Liu | 2019 | Automotive Innovation2019，2，4： | 2 |
| 10 | Face and object visual working memory deficits in first-episode schizophrenia correlate with multiple neurocognitive performances显示文摘Background Working memory(WM)deficit is considered a core feature and cognitive biomarker in patients with schizophrenia.Several studies have reported prominent object WM deficits in patients with schizophrenia,suggesting that visual WM in these patients extends to non-spatial domains.However,whether non-spatial WM is similarly affected remains unclear.Aim This study primarily aimed to identify the processing of visual object WM in patients with first-episode schizophrenia.Methods The study included 36 patients with first-episode schizophrenia and 35 healthy controls.Visual object WM capacity,including face and house WM capacity,was assessed by means of delayed matching-to sample visual WM tasks,in which participants must distribute memory so that they can discriminate a target sample.We specifically examined their anhedonia experience by the Temporal Experience of Pleasure Scale and the Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale.Cognitive performance was measured by the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status(RBANS).Results Both face and house WM capacity was significantly impaired in patients with schizophrenia.For both tasks,the performance of all the subjects was worse under the high-load condition than under the low-load condition.We found that WM capacity was highly positively correlated with the performance on RBANS total scores(r=−0.528,p=0.005),RBANS delayed memory scores(r=−0.470,p=0.013),RBANS attention scores(r=−0.584,p=0.001),RBANS language scores(r=−0.448,p=0.019),Trail-Making Test:Part A raw scores(r=0.465,p=0.015)and simple IQ total scores(r=−0.538,p=0.005),and correlated with scores of the vocabulary test(r=−0.490,p=0.011)and scores of the Block Diagram Test(r=−0.426,p=0.027)in schizophrenia.No significant correlations were observed between WM capacity and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale symptoms.Conclusions Our research found that visual object WM capacity is dramatically impaired in patients with schizophrenia and is strongly correlated with other measures of cognition,suggesting a mechanism that is critical in explaining a portion of the broad cognitive deficits observed in schizophrenia. | Yi Liu Taiyong Bi Bei Zhang Qijie Kuang Haijing Li Kunlun Zong Jingping Zhao Yuping Ning Shenglin She Yingjun Zheng | 2021 | General Psychiatry2021，34，1： | 2 |
| 11 | Production of Pectinolytic Enzymes by Two Bacillus spp. Strains and Their Application in Flax Degumming显示文摘This study demonstrated that Bacillus licheniformis HDYM-03 and Bacillus megaterium HDYM-09, isolated from a liquid sample of fl ax retting pool, were able to produce pectinolytic enzymes using polysaccharides as substrates. Bacillus megaterium HDYM-09 produced pectin lyase that exhibited the highest activity of 2116.71 ± 11.55 U/mL. Bacillus licheniformis HDYM-03 produced pectate lyase that exhibited the highest activity of 611.21 ± 14.54 U/mL. Based on these fi ndings, we constructed four retting systems to degrade the pectin substance. The results showed that the content of galacturonic acid in the mixed system was 529.21 μg/mL, the content of reducing sugar was 98.14 mg/mL, and the weight loss ratio of cells reached 19.49%, which were signifi cantly higher than those in other systems. The mixed system has more advantages, and the utilization rate of degumming was higher, which further ensured that the degumming can be carried out effi ciently and quickly.
