Fault detection and diagnosis for data incomplete industrial systems with new Bayesian network approach显示文摘For the fault detection and diagnosis problem in largescale industrial systems, there are two important issues: the missing data samples and the non-Gaussian property of the data. However, most of the existing data-driven methods cannot be able to handle both of them. Thus,a new Bayesian network classifier based fault detection and diagnosis method is proposed. At first,a non-imputation method is presented to handle the data incomplete samples, with the property of the proposed Bayesian network classifier, and the missing values can be marginalized in an elegant manner.Furthermore, the Gaussian mixture model is used to approximate the non-Gaussian data with a linear combination of finite Gaussian mixtures,so that the Bayesian network can process the non-Gaussian data in an effective way. Therefore, the entire fault detection and diagnosis method can deal with the high-dimensional incomplete process samples in an efficient and robust way.The diagnosis results are expressed in the manner of probability with the reliability scores. The proposed approach is evaluated with a benchmark problem called the Tennessee Eastman process. The simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method in fault detection and diagnosis for large-scale systems with missing measurements.Zhengdao Zhang Jinlin Zhu Feng Pan 2013Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,3:14

CD147 antibody specifically and effectively inhibits infection and cytokine storm of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants delta, alpha, beta, and gamma显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 mutations contribute to increased viral transmissibility and immune escape, compromising the effectiveness of existing vaccines and neutralizing antibodies. An in-depth investigation on COVID-19 pathogenesis is urgently needed to develop a strategy against SARS-CoV-2 variants. Here,we identified CD147 as a universal receptor for SARS-CoV-2 and its variants.Meanwhile,Meplazeumab,a humanized anti-CD147 antibody, could block cellular entry of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants-alpha,beta,gamma,and delta, with inhibition rates of 68.7,75.7,52.1,52.1,and 62.3%at 60μg/ml,respectively.Furthermore,humanized CD147 transgenic mice were susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 and its two variants, alpha and beta. When infected, these mice developed exudative alveolar pneumonia, featured by immune responses involving alveoli-infiltrated macrophages, neutrophils, and lymphocytes and activation of IL-17 signaling pathway.Mechanistically,we proposed that severe COVID-19-related cytokine storm is induced by a'spike protein-CD147-CyPA signaling axis':Infection of SARS-CoV-2 through CD147 initiated the JAK-STAT pathway, which further induced expression of cyclophilin A(CyPA);CyPA reciprocally bound to CD147 and triggered MAPK pathway.Consequently, the MAPK pathway regulated the expression of cytokines and chemokines, which promoted the development of cytokine storm.Importantly,Meplazumab could effectively inhibit viral entry and inflammation caused by SARS-CoV-2 and its variants. Therefore, our findings provided a new perspective for severe COVID-19-related pathogenesis.Furthermore, the validated universal receptor for SARS-CoV-2 and its variants can be targeted for COVID-19 treatment.Jiejie Geng Liang Chen Yufeng Yuan Ke Wang Youchun Wang Chuan Qin Guizhen Wu Ruo Chen Zheng Zhang Ding Wei Peng Du Jun Zhang Peng Lin Kui Zhang Yongqiang Deng Ke Xu Jiangning Liu Xiuxuan Sun Ting Guo Xu Yang Jiao Wu Jianli Jiang Ling Li Kun Zhang Zhe Wang Jing Zhang Qingguo Yan Hua Zhu Zhaohui Zheng Jinlin Miao Xianghui Fu Fengfan Yang Xiaochun Chen Hao Tang Yang Zhang Ying Shi Yumeng Zhu Zhuo Pei Fei Huo Xue Liang Yatao Wang Qingyi Wang Wen Xie Yirong Li Mingyan Shi Huijie Bian Ping Zhu Zhi-Nan Chen 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,10:6
A critical epitope in CD147 facilitates memory CD4^(+) T-cell hyper-activation in rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘The abnormal activation of CD4^(+)CD45RO+memory T(Tm)cells plays an important role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Previous studies have shown that CD147 participates in T-cell activation. However,it remains unclear whether CD147 is involved in abnormal Tm-cell activation in RA patients. In this study,we demonstrated that CD147 was predominantly upregulated in Tm cells derived from RA patients. The anti-CD147 mAb 5A12 specifically inhibited Tm-cell activation and proliferation and further restrained osteoclastogenesis.Using a structural–functional approach,we depicted the interface between 5A12 and CD147.This allowed us to identify two critical residues,Lys63 and Asp65,as potential targets for RA treatment,as the double mutation K63A/D65A inhibited Tm-cell activation, mimicking the neutralization by 5A12.This study provides not only a theoretical basis for a“CD147-Tm/Osteoclast-RA chain”for the potential prevention and treatment of RA or other T-cell-mediated autoimmune diseases but also a new target for related drug design and development.Na Guo Sheng Ye Kui Zhang Xiaoling Yu Hongyong Cui Xiangmin Yang Peng lin Minghua Lv Jinlin Miao Yang Zhang Qing Han Rongguang Zhang Zhinan Chen Ping Zhu 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,6:6
Searching for the Nano-Hertz Stochastic Gravitational Wave Background with the Chinese Pulsar Timing Array Data ReleaseⅠ显示文摘Observing and timing a group of millisecond pulsars with high rotational stability enables the direct detection of gravitational waves(GWs).The GW signals can be identified from the spatial correlations encoded in the times-of-arrival of widely spaced pulsar-pairs.The Chinese Pulsar Timing Array(CPTA)is a collaboration aiming at the direct GW detection with observations carried out using Chinese radio telescopes. This short article serves as a“table of contents”for a forthcoming series of papers related to the CPTA Data Release 1(CPTA DR1)which uses observations from the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope. Here, after summarizing the time span and accuracy of CPTA DR1,we report the key results of our statistical inference finding a correlated signal with amplitude logA_(c)=-14.4_(-2.8)^(+1.0)for spectral index in the range ofα∈[-1.8,1.5]assuming a GW background(GWB)induced quadrupolar correlation. The search for the Hellings–Downs(HD)correlation curve is also presented, where some evidence for the HD correlation has been found that a 4.6σstatistical significance is achieved using the discrete frequency method around the frequency of 14 n Hz.We expect that the future International Pulsar Timing Array data analysis and the next CPTA data release will be more sensitive to the n Hz GWB,which could verify the current results.Heng Xu Siyuan Chen Yanjun Guo Jinchen Jiang Bojun Wang Jiangwei Xu Zihan Xue RNicolas Caballero Jianping Yuan Yonghua Xu Jingbo Wang Longfei Hao Jingtao Luo Kejia Lee Jinlin Han Peng Jiang Zhiqiang Shen Min Wang Na Wang Renxin Xu Xiangping Wu Richard Manchester Lei Qian Xin Guan Menglin Huang Chun Sun Yan Zhu 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,7:3

Rice domestication-associated transcription factor PROSTRATE GROWTH 1 controls plant and panicle architecture by regulating the expression of LAZY 1 and OsGIGANTEA,respectively显示文摘Plant architecture and panicle architecture are two critical agronomic traits that greatly affect the yield of rice(Oryza sativa).PROSTRATE GROWTH 1(PROG1)encodes a key C2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor and has pleiotropic effects on the regulation of both plant and panicle architecture, thereby influencing the grain yield. However, the molecular mechanisms through which PROG1 controls plant and panicle architecture remain unclear. In this study,we showed that PROG1 directly binds the LAZY 1(LA1)promoter and acts as a repressor to inhibit LA1 expression.Conversely,LA1 acts as a repressor of PROG1 by directly binding to the PROG1 promoter. These two genes play antagonistic roles in shaping plant architecture by regulating both tiller angle and tiller number.Interestingly, our data showed that PROG1 controls panicle architecture through direct binding to the intragenic regulatory regions of OsGIGANTEA(OsGI)and subsequent activation of its expression.Collectively,we have identified two crucial targets of PROG1,LA1 and OsGI,shedding light on the molecular mechanisms underlying plant and panicle architecture control by PROG1.Our study provides valuable insights into the regulation of key domestication-related traits in rice and identifies potential targets for future high-yield rice breeding.Jun Wang Jing Huang Jinlin Bao Xizhi Li Liang Zhu Jian Jin 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,9:1

Evaluation of fiber degree for fish muscle based on the edge feature attention net显示文摘The fiber mouthfeel of fish muscle is a highly sought-after goal for surimi gel products. The primary aim of research and development has been to quickly and accurately evaluate fiber degree for fish muscle. Therefore, based on the ResNet model, edge feature attentional mechanism was introduced to obtain the edge feature attention net (EFANet) to evaluate fiber degree for fish muscle. The EFANet was trained and tested on a dataset, which was made by collecting microscopic pictures of fish samples with different degrees of breakage.Compared with the three classic convolutional neural network (CNN) models, the EFANet emphasizes the learning of fiber texture information for fish muscle, reduces the effect of image color change, and significantly improves the detection accuracy. The average accuracy and specificity of the EFANet-50 on the testing dataset were 96.22% and 97.92%,respectively,which proved that it can effectively predict the fiber degree of fish muscle.Junhua Yu Jinlin Zhu Bowen Yan Xidong Jiao Jianlian Huang Jianxin Zhao Hao Zhang Wei Chen Daming Fan 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:1

Effect of preparation method on halloysite supported cobalt catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis显示文摘Novel cobalt Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS) catalysts were prepared from natural halloysite nanotubes(HNT) by double-solvent and wetimpregnation methods, and characterized by TEM,XRD,TPR and N2 adsorption-desorption.Comparing with the catalyst prepared by wetimpregnation method, the catalyst prepared by double-solvent method reduces Co3O4 particle migration and agglomeration due to size-induced effect, thus showing higher catalytic activity for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.Sufang Chen Jinlin Li Yuhua Zhang Daohong Zhang Junjiang Zhu 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,4:0
An in-situ spectroscopy investigation of alkali metal interaction mechanism with the imide functional group显示文摘Organic anode materials have attracted considerable interest owing to their high tunability by adopting various active functional groups. However, the interaction mechanisms between the alkali metals and the active functional groups in host materials have been rarely studied systematically. Here,a widely used organic semiconductor of perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic diimide(PTCDI)was selected as a model system to investigate how alkali metals interact with imide functional groups and induce changes in chemical and electronic structures of PTCDI.The interaction at the alkali/PTCDI interface was probed by in-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy(UPS),synchrotron-based near edge X-ray absorption fine structure(NEXAFS),and corroborated by density functional theory(DFT)calculations. Our results indicate that the alkali metal replaces the hydrogen atoms in the imide group and interact with the imide nitrogen of PTCDI.Electron transfer induced gap states and downward band-bending like effects are identified on the alkali-deposited PTCDI surface. It was found that Na shows a stronger electron transfer effect than Li.Such a model study of alkali insertion/intercalation in PTCDI gives insights for the exploration of the potential host materials for alkali storage applications.Xu Lian Zhirui Ma Zhonghan Zhang Jinlin Yang Shuo Sun Chengding Gu Yuan Liu Honghe Ding Jun Hu Xu Cao Junfa Zhu Shuzhou Li Wei Chen 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:0
PD-L1-driven efficient enrichment and elimination of circulating cancer cells by magnetic MoSe_(2) nanosheet显示文摘Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)are important biomarkers in the development and progression of lung cancer because they can reach other organs through the blood circulation and form distant metastases, exacerbating lung cancer progression. The presence of CTCs is also the main reason for the failure of nanomedicine-based lung cancer treatments. Therefore, magnetic MoSe_(2) nanosheets loaded with programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1),named PD-L1-MFP NS,were employed here to precisely capture lung cancer CTCs in the blood circulation through the tumor-targeting effect of PD-L1 killing CTCs with highly effective photothermal therapy(PTT).In addition,by increasing the expression of cytomegalovirus UL16-binding protein(ULBP)ligands on tumor cells, the PD-L1-MFP NS further activated natural killer(NK)cells and triggered NK cell-induced cancer immunotherapy, thereby enhancing the overall tumor-killing effect. In summary, this material designed to capture CTCs provides a substantial advancement for personalized PTT-triggered immunotherapy and has great clinical translational potential.Hongjie Huang Binhua Zou Shanlin Zhu Xingchen Zhang Jiale Huang Jinlin Wang Xiaoling Li Tianfeng Chen 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0
Extracellular vesicles derived from human dental mesenchymal stem cells stimulated with low-intensity pulsed ultrasound alleviate inflammation-induced bone loss in a mouse model of periodontitis显示文摘Extracellular vesicles(EVs)derived from mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have emerged as a new mode of intercellular crosstalk and are responsible for many of the thera-peutic effects of MSCs.To promote the application of MSC-EVs,recent studies have focused on the manipulation of MSCs to improve the production of EVs and EV-mediated activities. The current paper details an optimization method using non-invasive low-intensity pulsed ul-trasound(LIPUS)as the stimulation for improving oral MSC-EV production and effectiveness.Stem cells from apical papilla(SCAP),a type of oral mesenchymal stem cell, displayed inten-sity-dependent pro-osteogenic and anti-inflammatory responses to LIPUS without significant cytotoxicity or apoptosis. The stimuli increased the secretion of EVs by promoting the expres-sion of neutral sphingomyelinases in SCAP.In addition,EVs from LIPUS-induced SCAP exhibited stronger efficacy in promoting the osteogenic differentiation and anti-inflammation of peri-odontal ligament cells in vitro and alleviating oral inflammatory bone loss in vivo.In addition,LIPUS stimulation affected the physical characteristics and miRNA cargo of SCAP-EVs.Further investigations indicated that miR-935 is an important mediator of the pro-osteogenic and anti-inflammatory capabilities of LIPUS-induced SCAP-EVs.Taken together, these findings demonstrate that LIPUS is a simple and effective physical method to optimize SCAP-EV produc-tion and efficacy.Tingwei Zhang Ziqi Chen Mengyuan Zhu Xuan Jing Xiaohui Xu Xulei Yuan Mengjiao Zhou Yanan Zhang Miao Lu Duanjing Chen Shihan Xu Jinlin Song 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,4:0

Proteomic analysis provides insights into the function of Polian vesicles in the sea cucumber A postichopus japonicus post-evisceration显示文摘The Polian vesicle is the main accessory structure in the water vascular system of sea cucumbers. It can function to hold water vascular fluid under slight pressure and act as a hematopoiesis, excretory, and inflammatory response organ.Being the only organ to remain after evisceration, the Polian vesicle may function in the survival and regeneration of sea cucumber. We performed Tandem Mass Tag(TMT)-based proteomics to identify how proteins in the Polian vesicle of Apostichopus japonicus respond to evisceration.Among the 8453 proteins identified from vesicle samples before evisceration(PVOh)and at 6-h post-evisceration(PV6h)and 3-d post-evisceration(PV3d),we detected 222 differentially abundant proteins(DAPs).Most of the annotated DAPs were associated with cell growth and proliferation, immune response and wound healing, substance transport and metabolism,cytoskeleton/cilia/flagella,extracellular matrix, energy production and conversion, protein synthesis and modification, and signal recognition and transduction.Compared with PVOh,fewer DAPs were identified at PV6h,and more DAPs were found at PV3d,and these DAPs were widely distributed among multiple biological processes. Our results indicate that a wide range of biological processes was induced in Polian vesicles in response to evisceration. In particular,Polian vesicles may play important roles in the re storation of coelomocyte s,immune defense, and wound healing in sea cucumber. We propose that the Polian vesicle may be involved in visceral regeneration through nutrition and energy supply and by promoting dedifferentiation and migration.Together, these results provided new insights into the function of the Polian vesicle in A.japonicus post-evisceration.Jinlin JI Zhenhui WANG Wei ZHU Qiang LI Yinan WANG 2022Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,5:0

Dynamics of neutralizing antibody responses to SARS-CoV-2 in patients with COVID-19: an observational study显示文摘Our understanding of the protective immunity, particularly the long-term dynamics of neutralizing antibody(NAbs)response to SARS-CoV-2,is currently limited. We enrolled a cohort of 545 COVID-19 patients from Hubei,China, who were followed up up to 7 months, and determined the dynamics of NAbs to SARS-CoV-2 by using a surrogate virus neutralization test(sVNT).In our validation study,sVNT IC50 titers and the neutralization rate measured at a single dilution(1:20)were well correlated with FRNT titers(r=0.85 and 0.84,respectively).The median time to seroconversion of NAbs was 5.5 days post onset of symptoms. The rate of positive sVNT was 52% in the first week, reached 100% in the third week, and remained above 97% till 6 months post onset.Quantitatively,NAbs peaked in the fourth week and only a quarter of patients had an estimated peak titer of>1000.NAbs declined with a half-time of 61 days(95%CI:49-80 days)within the first two months, and the decay deaccelerated to a half-time of 104 days(95%CI:86-130 days)afterward. The peak levels of NAbs were positively associated with severity of COVID-19 and age, while negatively associated with serum albumin levels. The observation that the low-moderate peak neutralizing activity and fast decay of NAbs in most naturally infected individuals called for caution in evaluating the feasibility of antibody-based therapy and vaccine durability.NAbs response positively correlated with disease severity, warning for the possibility of repeat infection in patients with mild COVID-19.Xin Xu Sheng Nie Yanqun Wang Quanxin Long Hong Zhu Xiaoyong Zhang Jian Sun Qinglang Zeng Jincun Zhao Li Liu Ling Li Ailong Huang Jinlin Hou Fan Fan Hou 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,6:0
