Moreover, due to the diverse applications of HVDC transmission technology, each station in the system has different requirements. | 3 | Climatology of Cloud-base Height from Long-term Radiosonde Measurements in China显示文摘Clouds are critical to the global radiation budget and hydrological cycle, but knowledge is still poor concerning the observed climatology of cloud-base height(CBH) in China. Based on fine-resolution sounding observations from the China Radiosonde Network(CRN), the method used to estimate CBH was modified, and uncertainty analyses indicated that the CBH is good enough. The accuracy of CBH estimation is verified by the comparison between the sounding-derived CBHs and those estimated from the micro-pulse lidar and millimeter-wave cloud radar. As such, the CBH climatology was compiled for the period 2006–16. Overall, the CBH exhibits large geographic variability across China, at both 0800 Local Standard Time(LST) and 2000 LST, irrespective of season. In addition, the summertime cloud base tends to be elevated to higher altitudes in dry regions [i.e., Inner Mongolia and the North China Plain(NCP)]. By comparison, the Tibetan Plateau(TP),Pearl River Delta(PRD) and Sichuan Basin(SCB) have relatively low CBHs(< 2.4 km above ground level). In terms of seasonality, the CBH reaches its maximum in summer and minimum in winter. A low cloud base tends to occur frequently(> 70%) over the TP, PRD and SCB. In contrast, at most sites over the Yangtze River Delta(YRD) and the NCP, about half the cloud belongs to the high-cloud category. The CBH does not exhibit marked diurnal variation in summer, throughout all CRN sites, probably due to the persistent cloud coverage caused by the East Asia Summer Monsson. | 5 | Advances of nanoparticles as drug delivery systems for disease diagnosis and treatment显示文摘Decades have passed since the first nanoparticles-base medicine was approved for human cancer treatment, and the research and development of nanoparticles for drug delivery are always undergoing.Nowadays, the significant advances complicate nanoparticles’ branches, including liposomes, solid lipid nanoparticles, inorganic nanoparticles, micelles, nanovaccines and nano-antibodies, etc. These nanoparticles show numerous capabilities in treatment and diagnosis of stubborn diseases like cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, emerging as novel drug carriers or therapeutic agents in future. In this review, the complicated branches of nanoparticles are classified and summarized, with their property and functions concluded. Besides, there are also some delivery strategies that make nanoparticles smarter and more efficient in drug delivery, and frontiers in these strategies are also summarized in this review. | 6 | Clinical Comparison of Airway Stent Placement in Intervention Room and Operating Room显示文摘Background and objective Airway stent placement is the effective regimen for central airway obstruction(CAO),while its application scenarios varied.This study aimed to make clinical comparison of airway stent placement in the intervention room and operating room.Methods Patients underwent airway stent placement between 2014 and 2018 were included in this retrospective case-control study.Clinical performance of airway stent placement in intervention room and operating room were compared.Results 82 patients were included in this study,including 39 in the intervention room and 43 in the operating room.Patients treated in the intervention room had lower Charlson comorbidity index(CCI)(P=0.018)and received less Y-shaped stents(P<0.001).Better clinical response(P=0.026),more stents placed(P<0.001)and longer length of stent(P<0.001)were observed in operating room,while there was no significantly statistical difference of stent-related complications and post-stent survival rate between the two groups.Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)supported airway stent placement procedures were performed in the operating room,which provided definitive safety support for high-risk intervention.Conclusion Patients with CAO could benefit from the operating room scenario,and airway stent placement in the operating room is more suitable for patients with higher CCI scores and receiving more complicated procedures. | Ying WANG Jinming XU Qi WU Yuqiong ZHOU Zhou AN Wang LV Jian HU | 2020 | 中国肺癌杂志2020,23,6: | 2 |
| 7 | A polyphenol-assisted IL-10 mRNA delivery system for ulcerative colitis显示文摘With the development of synthesis technology, modified messenger RNA(mRNA) has emerged as a novel category of therapeutic agents for a broad of diseases. However, effective intracellular delivery of mRNA remains challenging, especially for its sensitivity to enzymatic degradation. Here, we propose a polyphenol-assisted handy delivery strategy for efficient in vivo delivery of IL-10 mRNA.IL-10 mRNA binds to polyphenol ellagic acid through supramolecular binding to yield a negatively charged core, followed by complexing with linear polyetherimide and coating with bilirubin-modified hyaluronic acid to obtain a layer-by-layer nanostructure. The nanostructure specifically up-regulated the level of IL-10, effectively inhibited the expression of inflammatory factors, promoted mucosal repair, protected colonic epithelial cells against apoptosis, and exerted potent therapeutic efficacy in dextran sulfate sodium salt-induced acute and chronic murine models of colitis. | 12 | Identification and characterization of loop7 motif and its role in regulating biological function of human APOBEC3G through molecular modeling and biological assay显示文摘Human APOBEC3G(h A3G) is a cytidine deaminase which inhibits HIV-1 replication. The HIV-1 accessory protein viral infectivity factor(Vif) counteracts with hA3G by targeting it for proteasomal degradation. In this work, we constructed and optimized molecular models of the hA3G dimer and the h A3G–Vif complex. The molecular modeling study revealed that the loop7 motif of hA3G appears on the interfaces of both the h A3G–Vif complex and the hA3G dimer. Biochemical analysis provided evidence suggesting that binding of Vif to hA3G results in steric blocking of hA3G dimerization, implying that monomeric hA3G serves as a substrate for Vif-mediated degradation.Furthermore, we presented evidence for the important roles of the loop7 motif, especially the central residues within the region, in hA3G dimerization, h A3G–Vif interaction, Vif-mediated hA3G degradation as well as subcellular localization of hA3G. | 17 | A novel TIR-NBS-LRR gene regulates immune response to Phytophthora root rot in soybean显示文摘Phytophthora root rot(PRR),caused by Phytophthora sojae,is a devastating disease of soybean.The NBSLRR gene family is a class of plant genes involved in disease resistance.miRNA mediates plant response to biotic stresses by regulating the expression of target genes at the transcriptional or post-translational level.Glyma.16G135500,encoding an NBS-LRR-type protein,is a target of gma-miR1510 that responds to pathogen infections.We cloned and overexpressed Glyma.16G135500(naming it GmTNL16)and knocked down mi R1510 using short tandem target mimic technology to identify the roles of the GmTNL16/gma-mi R1510 pair in the interaction of soybean and the oomycete.By overexpressing GmTNL16 in transgenic hairy roots of soybean,we showed that biomass of P.sojae was lower in overexpressing hairy roots than in control roots.Thus,miR1510 expression was reduced upon P.sojae infection,reflecting the induced expression of GmTNL16 conferring resistance to P.sojae in soybean.Differentially expressed genes were enriched in plant-pathogen interaction,plant hormone signal transduction,and secondary metabolism by RNA sequencing analyze.In particular,jasmonate and salicylic acid pathway-associated genes,including JAZ,COI1,TGA,and PR,responded to P.sojae infection.All of these results indicate that the GmTNL16/gma-miR1510 pair participates in soybean defense response via the JA and SA pathways. | Li Zhou Sushuang Deng Huidong Xuan Xingxing Fan Ruidong Sun Jinming Zhao Haitang Wang Na Guo Han Xing | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,6: | 1 |
