1Spatio-temporal variation in rock exhumation linked to large-scale shear zones in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Crustal-scale shear zones are believed to have played an important role in the tectonic and landscape evolution of orogens. However, the variation of long-term rock exhumation between the interior of shear zones and adjacent regions has not been documented in detail. In this study, we obtained new zircon U-Pb, biotite ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar, zircon and apatite(U-Th)/He data, and conducted inverse thermal history modeling from two age-elevation profiles(the Pianma and Tu'er profiles) in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau. Our goal is to constrain the exhumation history of the Gaoligong and Chongshan shear zones and adjacent regions, so as to explore the effect of the shear zones on exhumation and their thermal effect on cooling that should not be ignored. Our results suggest that during the interval of 18–11 Ma the exhumation rates of rocks within the Gaoligong shear zone are anomalously high compared with those outside of. The rapid cooling during 18–11 Ma appears to be restricted to the shear zone, likely due to localized thermal effects of shearing and exhumation. After 11 Ma, both the areas within and outside of the shear zones experienced a similar two-stage exhumation history: slower cooling until the early Pliocene, and then a rapid increase in cooling rate since the early Pliocene. Our results indicate a synchronized exhumation but with spatially varied exhumation rates. 2CNN-BiLSTM-Attention Model in Forecasting Wave Height over South-East China Seas显示文摘Though numerical wave models have been applied widely to significant wave height prediction,they consume massive computing memory and their accuracy needs to be further improved.In this paper,a two-dimensional(2D)significant wave height(SWH)prediction model is established for the South and East China Seas.The proposed model is trained by Wave Watch III(WW3)reanalysis data based on a convolutional neural network,the bidirectional long short-term memory and the attention mechanism(CNNBiLSTM-Attention).It adopts the convolutional neural network to extract spatial features of original wave height to reduce the redundant information input into the BiLSTM network.Meanwhile,the BiLSTM model is applied to fully extract the features of the associated information of time series data.Besides,the attention mechanism is used to assign probability weight to the output information of the BiLSTM layer units,and finally,a training model is constructed.Up to 24-h prediction experiments are conducted under normal and extreme conditions,respectively.Under the normal wave condition,for 3-,6-,12-and 24-h forecasting,the mean values of the correlation coefficients on the test set are 0.996,0.991,0.980,and 0.945,respectively.The corresponding mean values of the root mean square errors are measured at 0.063 m,0.105 m,0.172 m,and 0.281 m,respectively.Under the typhoon-forced extreme condition,the model based on CNN-BiLSTM-Attention is trained by typhooninduced SWH extracted from the WW3 reanalysis data.For 3-,6-,12-and 24-h forecasting,the mean values of correlation coefficients on the test set are respectively 0.993,0.983,0.958,and 0.921,and the averaged root mean square errors are 0.159 m,0.257 m,0.437 m,and 0.555 m,respectively.The model performs better than that trained by all the WW3 reanalysis data.The result suggests that the proposed algorithm can be applied to the 2D wave forecast with higher accuracy and efficiency.Lina Wang Xilin Deng Peng Ge Changming Dong Brandon J.Bethel Leqing Yang Jinyue Xia 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,10:2

5Facile synthesis of hierarchical flower-like Ag/Cu2O and Au/Cu2O nanostructures and enhanced catalytic performance in electrochemical reduction of CO2显示文摘Novel,hierarchical,flower-like Ag/Cu2O and Au/Cu2O nanostructures were successfully fabricated and applied as efficient electrocatalysts for the electrochemical reduction of CO2.Cu2O nanospheres with a uniform size of^180 nm were initially synthesized.Thereafter,Cu2O was used as a sacrificial template to prepare a series of Ag/Cu2O composites through galvanic replacement.By varying the Ag/Cu atomic ratio,Ago.12/Cu2O,having a hierarchical,flower-like nanostructure with intersecting Ag nanoflakes encompassing an inner Cu2O sphere,was prepared.The as-prepared Ag/Cu2O samples presented higher Faradaic efficiencies(FE)for CO and relatively suppressed H2 evolution than the parent Cu2O nanospheres due to the combination of Ag with Cu2O in the former.Notably,the highest CO evolution rate was achieved with Ago.12/Cu2O due to the larger electroactive surface area furnished by the hierarchical structure.The same hier-archical flower-like structure was also obtained for the Auo./Cu2O composite,where the FEco(10%)was even higher than that of Ago.12/Cu2O.Importantly,the results reveal that Ago.12/Cu2O and Auo./Cu2O both exhibit remarkably improved stability relative to Cu2O.This study presents a facile method of developing hierarchical metal-oxide composites as fficient and stable electrocatalysts for the electrochemical reduction of CO2.Mengyun Wang Shengbo Zhang Mei Li Aiguo Han Xinli Zhu Qingfeng Ge Jinyu Han Hua Wang 2020Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,5:1

7Bamboo-like N-doped carbon nanotubes encapsulating M(Co,Fe)-Ni alloy for electrochemical production of syngas with potential-independent CO/H_(2) ratios显示文摘The electrochemical conversion of CO_(2)-H_(2)O into CO-H_(2) using renewable energy is a promising technique for clean syngas production.Low-cost electrocatalysts to produce tunable syngas with a potential-independent CO/H_(2) ratio are highly desired.Herein,a series of N-doped carbon nanotubes encapsulating binary alloy nanoparticles(MxNi-NCNT,M=Fe,Co)were successfully fabricated through the co-pyrolysis of melamine and metal precursors.The MxNi-NCNT samples exhibited bamboo-like nanotubular structures with a large specific surface area and high degree of graphitization.Their electrocatalytic performance for syngas production can be tuned by changing the alloy compositions and modifying the electronic structure of the carbon nanotube through the encapsulated metal nanoparticles.Consequently,syngas with a wide range of CO/H_(2) ratios,from 0.5:1 to 3.4:1,can be produced on MxNi-NCNT.More importantly,stable CO/H_(2) ratios of 2:1 and 1.5:1,corresponding to the ratio to produce biofuels by syngas fermentation,could be realized on Co1Ni-NCNT and Co2Ni-NCNT,respectively,over a potential window of-0.8 to-1.2 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode.Our work provides an approach to develop low-cost and potential-independent electrocatalysts to effectively produce syngas with an adjustable CO/H_(2) ratio from electrochemical CO_(2) reduction.Jinxiao Bo Mei Li Xinli Zhu Qingfeng Ge Jinyu Han Hua Wang 2022Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,4:0
8A model for anticancer surveillance was pharmacologically developed to evaluate vitality principle in breast cancer rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate vitality principle in breast cancer rats by pharmacologically developing a model for anticancer surveillance.METHODS: The breast cancer in rats was replicated with 7,12-Dimethylbenz[a]anthracene(DMBA, i.g.,100 mg/kg) at d_(001). The anticancer surveillance was defined as the intervals between the primary sensitization and the first challenge stirred with complete Freund's adjuvant(CFA), the various intervals(k = 0.80) were dominated from d_(025)(600.00 h) to d_(095)(2288.82 h). The optimal surveillant status was confirmed with the median effective interval(EI_(50))from tumor volume regressive curve, for developing the pharmacodynamic model. The tumor and tumor infiltrating lymphocyte histopathology was used to confirm the immune surveillance being affected with CFA in breast cancer tumorigenesis.The availability of this model was confirmed with Shugan Liangxue prescription(SLP), from the vitality principle, and assured further from interleukin-12 levels.RESULTS: The regressive curve was set up between the intervals and tumor volumes, the EI_(50) in SLP-treated rats(1475.00 h, Y_(SLP)= 0.1026 +0.8780/[1 + 10^(27.1425-8.565x)]) was postponed, which was 1.87 multiple of the EI_(50) in CFA rats(791.40 h, y =-0.0525 + 0.9452/[1 + 10^(30.4870-10.52x)], so did prepone the curve between the intervals and the immunological biomarker, serum interleukin-12 levels, the EI_(50) in SLP-treated rats(744.90 h, Y_(SLP)=-0.0145 + 0.7455/[1 + 10^(52.09636-18.13x)]) be 0.78 multiple of the EI_(50) in CFA rats(960.10 h, Y_(CFA)= 0.2460 + 0.7270/[1 + 10^(-67.1546 +22.52x)]), this immunological action being mediated the anticancer prognosis. Tumor histology was confirmed the more tumor infiltrating lymphocytes activated in SLP rats with CFA stirred immunity than rats only received CFA.CONCLUSION: The model for anticancer surveillance was pharmacologically established as the optimal interval(791.40 h) between the primary sensitization and the first challenge stirred with complete Freund's adjuvant. 9Geographical Information Visualization on a Panoramic Sphere in an Immersive Environment显示文摘In this paper,we propose a novel approach to visualizing global geographical information:a panoramic sphere in an immersive environment.The whole geographical surface can be observed through the rotating of heads as the viewpoint of the panoramic sphere is inside the sphere.We compared three approaches to visualizing the earth for rendering the geographical information in a virtual reality environment.On the tasks of terrestrial and marine geographical information,we compare the visualization effects on a)a globe,b)a flat map and c)a panoramic sphere.Terrestrial geographical information tasks include the area comparison and direction determination.Marine geographical information tasks contain the visualization of sea surface temperature and sea surface currents.For terrestrial geographical information tasks,the experimental results show that the panoramic sphere outperforms the globe and the flat map,with a higher average accuracy and a shorter time.On marine geographical information task,the panoramic sphere visualization is also superior to the flat map and the globe in an immersive environment for the sea surface temperature data and the sea surface current fields.In all three visualization experiments,the panoramic sphere is most preferred by the participants,particularly for global,transcontinental and transoceanic needs.MA Ying TIAN Fenglin LIU Wen TANG Moran LI Jinyu CHEN Ge 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,4:0

11A DFT study of CO_2 electrochemical reduction on Pb(211) and Sn(112)显示文摘Electrochemical reduction of CO2 has the benefit of turning greenhouse gas emissions into useful resources. We performed a comparative study of the electrochemical reduction of CO2 on stepped Pb(211) and Sn(112) surfaces based on the results of density functional theory slab calculations. We mapped out the potential energy profiles for electrochemical reduction of CO2 to formate and other possible products on both surfaces. Our results show that the first step is the formation of the adsorbed formate(HCOO*) species through an Eley-Rideal mechanism. The formate species can be reduced to HCOO- through a oneelectron reduction in basic solution, which produces formic acid as the predominant product. The respective potentials of forming HCOO* are predicted to be -0.72 and -0.58 V on Pb and Sn. Higher overpotentials make other reaction pathways accessible, leading to different products. On Sn(112), CO and CH4 can be generated at -0.65 V following formate formation. 12Balancing the Activity and Selectivity of Propane Oxidative Dehydrogenation on NiOOH(001)and(010)显示文摘Propane oxidative dehydrogenation(ODH)is an energy-efficient approach to produce propylene.However,ODH suff ers from low propylene selectivity due to a relatively higher activation barrier for propylene formation compared with that for further oxidation.In this work,calculations based on density functional theory were performed to map out the reaction pathways of propane ODH on the surfaces(001)and(010)of nickel oxide hydroxide(NiOOH).Results show that propane is physisorbed on both surfaces and produces propylene through a two-step radical dehydrogenation process.The relatively low activation barriers of propane dehydrogenation on the NiOOH surfaces make the NiOOH-based catalysts promising for propane ODH.By contrast,the weak interaction between the allylic radical and the surface leads to a high activation barrier for further propylene oxidation.These results suggest that the catalysts based on NiOOH can be active and selective for the ODH of propane toward propylene.Lisheng Li Hua Wang Jinyu Han Xinli Zhu Qingfeng Ge 2020Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,5:0

17Patterns in the Incidence of Scarlet Fever Among Children Aged 0–9 Years—China,2010–2019显示文摘Introduction:This study investigates the patterns of scarlet fever among Chinese children aged 0–9 years from 2010 to 2019.The objective is to provide insights that may inform potential adjustments to China’s current prevention and control tactics for this illness.Methods:The present study utilized data on the occurrence of scarlet fever in children from 2010 to 2019,sourced from the National Notifiable Disease Reporting System database,managed by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.This research implemented SAS9.4 software to construct trajectory models representing the temporal incidence of scarlet fever,accounting for key variables such as sex,geographic region,urban versus rural dwellings,and various age brackets.Results:From 2010 to 2019,a total of 554,695 scarlet fever cases were reported among children aged 0–9 years in the 31 mainland Chinese provincial-level administrative divisions,signifying a rate of 35.36 per 100,000 individuals.An inconsistent yet generally rising trend was observed,evidenced by a 3.17-fold increase in reported cases and a 3.02-fold escalation in incidence rate over this period.Examination of these trends revealed three distinctive developmental patterns for both males and females,with the lowest prevalence in the first trajectory and the highest in the third.The incidence was consistently higher among males than females in all trajectories.The urban and northern regions displayed equal or greater trajectory rates than their rural and southern counterparts,respectively.In terms of age groups,the lowest incidence was observed in the 0–1-year age group,while the highest was recorded in the 4–5 and 6–7-year age groups.Conclusions:Between 2010 and 2019,there was a marked increase in the incidence of scarlet fever among children in China.The disease predominantly impacts urban-dwelling children,ranging from 4 to 7 years old,in the northern regions of the country.The incidence is reported to be higher among boys compared to girls.Jinyu Cui Yewu Zhang Hui Ge Yu Cao Xuemei Su 2023China CDC weekly2023,5,34:0
