Analysis of multiple factors of postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome after pancreaticoduodenectomy and cryotherapy for pancreatic cancer显示文摘AIM: To explore the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome (PGS) after pancreatic cancer cryotherapy (PCC) or pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD), and to analyze the correlation between the multiple factors and PGS caused by the operations.METHODS: Clinical data of 210 patients undergoing PD and 46 undergoing PCC were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS: There were 32 (67%, 32/46) patients suffering PGS in PCC group, including 29 with pancreatic head and uncinate tumors and 2 with pancreatic body and tail tumors.Ten patients (4.8%, 20/220) developed PGS in PD group, which had a significantly lower incidence of PGS than PCC group (x = 245, P<0.001). In PCC group, 9 patients with PGS were managed with non-operative treatment (drugs, diet, nasogastric suction, etc.), and one received reoperation at the 16th day, but the symptoms were not relieved. In PD group, all the patients with PGS were managed with non-operative treatment. The PGS in patients undergoing PCC had close association with PCC,tumor location, but not with age, gender, obstructive jaundice, hypoproteinemia, preoperative gastric outlet obstruction and the type and number of gastric biliary tract operations. The mechanisms of PGS caused by PD were similar to those of PGS following gastrectomy. The damage to interstitial cells of Cajal might play a role in the pathogenesis of PGS after PCC, for which multiple factors were possibly responsible, including ischemic and neural injury to the antropyloric muscle and the duodenum after freezing of the pancreatico-duodenal regions or reduced circulating levels of motilin.CONCLUSION: PGS after PCC or PD is induced by multiple factors and the exact mechanisms, which might differ betweent hese two operations, remain unknown. Radiography of the upper gastrointestinal tract and gastroscopy are main diagnostic modalities for PGS. Non-operative treatments are effective for PGS, and reoperation should be avoided in patients with PGS caused by PCC. | KeDong BoLi Quan-LinGuan TaoHuang | 2004 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2004,10,16: | 30
Improved grey prediction model based on exponential grey action quantity显示文摘With the passage of time, it has become important to investigate new methods for updating data to better fit the trends of the grey prediction model. The traditional GM(1,1) usually sets the grey action quantity as a constant. Therefore, it cannot effectively fit the dynamic characteristics of the sequence, which results in the grey model having a low precision. The linear grey action quantity model cannot represent the index change law. This paper presents a grey action quantity model, the exponential optimization grey model(EOGM(1,1)), based on the exponential type of grey action quantity; it is constructed based on the exponential characteristics of the grey prediction model. The model can fully reflect the exponential characteristics of the simulation series with time. The exponential sequence has a higher fitting accuracy. The optimized result is verified using a numerical example for the fluctuating sequence and a case study for the index of the tertiary industry's GDP. The results show that the model improves the precision of the grey forecasting model and reduces the prediction error. | YIN Kedong GENG Yan LI Xuemei | 2018 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2018,29,3: | 14
Continental- Margin Structure of Northeast China and Its Adjacent Areas显示文摘The continental margin of Northeast China and its adjacent areas is composed of two tectonic belts. The inner belt is a collage made up of fragments resulting from breakup of an old land with the north part related to the evolution of the Palaeo-Asian Ocean and the south part to the evolution of the Palaeo - Pacific Ocean. The outer belt is a Mesozoic terrane, which is a melange made up of fragments of the Late Palaeozoic to Early Mesozoic oceanic crust and the Late M esozoic trench accumulations. There existed another ocean-the Palaeo - Pacific Ocean during the period from the closing of the Palaeo-Asian Ocean to the opening of the modern Pacific Ocean or from the Devonian to Jurassic, and the ocean-floor spreading of the Palaeo - Pacific Ocean led to the formation of the above-mentioned tectonic belts. The development of the strike-slip fault system after the Late Jurassic and the formation of an epicontinental volcano -plutonic rock belt in the Late Cretaceous to Early Tertiary are attributed to the | Tang Kedong, Shenyang Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, Shenyang,Liaoning ProvinceWang Ying,Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources of Heilongjiang Province,Harbin, HeilingjiangHe Guoqi and Shao Ji’an Peking U niversity, Beijing Liu Xinzhu | 1995 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1995,69,3: | 7
Chemometric study of spatial variations of environmental and ecological characteristics in the Zhujiang River (Pearl River) Estuary and adjacent waters显示文摘Chemometric approach based on principal component analysis(PCA) was utilized to examine the spatial variances of environmental and ecological characteristics in the Zhujiang River(Pearl River) Estuary and adjacent waters(ZREAW) in the South China Sea. The PCA result shows that the ZREAW can be divided into different zones according to the principal components and geographical locations of the study stations, and indicates that there are distinct regional variances on environmental features and the corresponding phytoplankton biomass and community structures among different areas. The spatial distribution of ecological features was implied to be influenced by various degrees of the different water resources, such as the Pearl River discharges, the coastal current and the oceanic water from the South China Sea. The variation of the biomass maximum zone and the complex impacts on the spatial distributions of phytoplankton biomass and production were also evaluated. | SONG Xingyu HUANG Liangmin ZHANG Jianlin YIN Kedong LIU Sheng TAN Yehui YIN Jianqiang | 2011 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,4: | 5
Spatial and Seasonal Variations of Nutrients in Sediment Profiles and Their Sediment-Water Fluxes in the Pearl River Estuary,Southern China显示文摘Three cruises were launched in the Pearl River Estuary(PRE)in 2005 to investigate the biogeochemical cycling of nutrients associated with early diagenesis related to degradation of organic matter.Seasonal and spatial variations of pore water nutrient concentrations and profile patterns in sediments were studied.Nutrient fluxes at the sediment-water interface(SWI)were measured by incubation experiments, and we here discussed the accumulation and transformation processes of nutrients at the SWI.The nutrients generally decreased from the Pearl River outlets downstream, indicating anthropogenic influences on the nutrient inputs in the estuary.NO3-N concentration was the highest of the three forms of DIN(dissolved inorganic nitrogen, the sum of NH4-N,NO3-N and NO2-N)in the overlying water, and NH4-N was the main component of DIN in pore water. The gradual increase of NH4-N and the rapid decrease of NO3-N with sediment depth provided the evidence for anaerobic conditions below the SWI.Negative fluxes of NO3-N and positive fluxes of NH4-N were commonly observed, suggesting the denitrification of NO3-N at the SWI.The DIN flux direction suggested that the sediment was the sink of DIN in spring, however, the sediment was generally the source of DIN in summer and winter.PO4-P distribution patterns were distinct while SiO4-Si inconspicuously varied in sediment profiles in different seasons. The flux results indicated that PO4-P mainly diffused from the water column to the sediment while SiO4-Si mainly diffused from the sediment to the water column.Generally, the incubated fluxes were the coupling of diffusion, bioturbation and biochemical reactions, and were relatively accurate in this study. | Ling Zhang Lu Wang Kedong Yin Ying Lü Yongqiang Yang Xiaoping Huang | 2014 | Journal of Earth Science2014,25,1: | 5
Measurement of thermal boundary conductance between metal and dielectric materials using femtosecond laser transient thermoreflectance technique显示文摘The thermal boundary conductance of Al/SiO2, Al/Si, Au/SiO2, and Au/Si are measured by a femtosecond laser transient thermoreflectance technique. The distinct differences of the interfacial thermal conductance between these samples are observed. For the same metal film, the thermal boundary conductance between metal and substrate decreases with the thermal conductivity of the substrate. The measured results are explained with the phonon diffusion mismatch model by introducing a phonon transmission coefficient across the interface. | ZHANG ChungWei BI KeDong WANG JianLi NI ZhongHua CHEN YunFei | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,4: | 4
T cells expressing CD5/CD7 bispecific chimeric antigen receptors with fully human heavy-chain-only domains mitigate tumor antigen escape显示文摘Bispecific chimeric antigen receptor T-cell(CAR-T)therapies have shown promising results in clinical trials for advanced B-cell malignancies. However,it is challenging to broaden the success of bispecific CAR-T therapies to treat refractory/relapse(r/r)T-cell leukemia/lymphoma because targeting multiple T-cell-expressing antigens leads to exacerbated CAR-T cell fratricide and potential safety concerns.Fully human heavy chain variable(FHVH)antibodies that specifically target CD5 or CD7 were screened and constructed to CD5/CD7 bispecific CARs.A truncated Epidermal growth factor receptor were integrated into CAR constructs to address safety concerns. To tackle the fratricidal issue of CAR-T cells targeting T-cell-pan marker(s),CRISPR/Cas9-based CD5 and CD7 genes knockout were performed before lentiviral transduction of bispecific CARs.Functional comparison between different bispecific CAR structures:tandem CARs and dual CAR were performed in vitro and in vivo to determine the optimal construct suitable for addressing T-cell malignancy antigen escape in clinical setting.Knockout of CD5 and CD7 prevents fratricide of CD5/CD7 bispecific CAR-T cells, and FHVH-derived CD5/CD7 bispecific CAR-T cells demonstrate potent antitumor activity in vitro and in vivo. The fratricide-resistant FHVH-derived CD5/CD7 bispecific CAR-T cells have potent antitumor activity against T-cell malignancies, and tandem CARs are more effective than dual CAR in preventing tumor escape in heterogeneous leukemic cells. The meaningful clinical efficacy and safety of tandem CD5/CD7 CAR-T cells deserve to be explored urgently. | Zhenyu Dai Wei Mu Ya Zhao Jiali Cheng Haolong Lin Kedong Ouyang Xiangyin Jia Jianwei Liu Qiaoe Wei Meng Wang Chaohong Liu Taochao Tan Jianfeng Zhou | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 3
Clay nanosheet-mediated delivery of recombinant plasmids expressing artificial miRNAs via leaf spray to prevent infection by plant DNA viruses显示文摘Whitefly-transmitted begomoviruses are economically important plant pathogens that cause severe problems in many crop plants, such as tomato, papaya, cotton, and tobacco.Tomato yellow leaf curl virus(TYLCV)is a typical monopartite begomovirus that has been extensively studied, but methods that can efficiently control begomoviruses are still scarce. In this study,we combined artificial microRNA(amiRNA)-mediated silencing technology and clay nanosheetmediated delivery by spraying and developed a method for efficiently preventing TYLCV infection in tomato plants. We designed three amiRNAs that target different regions of TYLCV to silence virus-produced transcripts.Three plant expression vectors expressing pre-amiRNAs were constructed, and recombinant plasmid DNAs(pDNAs)were loaded onto nontoxic and degradable layered double hydroxide(LDH)clay nanosheets.LDH nanosheets containing multiple pDNAs were sprayed onto plant leaves. We found that the designed amiRNAs were significantly accumulated in leaves 7 days after spraying, while the pDNAs were sustainably detected for 35 days after the spray, suggesting that the LDH nanosheets released pDNAs in a sustained manner, protected pDNAs from degradation and efficiently delivered pDNAs into plant cells.Importantly, when the LDH nanosheets coated with pDNAs were sprayed onto plants infected by TYLCV,both the disease severity and TYLCV viral concentration in sprayed plants were significantly decreased during the 35 days, while the levels of H_(2)O_(2) were significantly increased in those plants.Taken together, these results indicate that LDH nanosheets loaded with pDNAs expressing amiRNAs can be a sustainable and promising tool for begomovirus control. | Qili Liu Yanpeng Li Kedong Xu Dongxiao Li Haiyan Hu Feng Zhou Puwen Song Yongang Yu Qichao Wei Qian Liu Weipeng Wang Ruifang Bu Haili Sun Xiaohui Wang Jianjun Hao Honglian Li Chengwei Li | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 1
