| 1 | Cenozoic uplift of the Tibetan Plateau:Evidence from the tectonic-sedimentary evolution of the western Qaidam Basin显示文摘Geologists agree that the collision of the Indian and Asian plates caused uplift of the Tibet Plateau.However,controversy still exists regarding the modes and mechanisms of the Tibetan Plateau uplift.Geology has recorded this uplift well in the Qaidam Basin.This paper analyzes the tectonic and sedimentary evolution of the western Qaidam Basin using sub-surface seismic and drill data. The Cenozoic intensity and history of deformation in the Qaidam Basin have been reconstructed based on the tectonic developments,faults growth index,sedimentary facies variations,and the migration of the depositional depressions.The changes in the sedimentary facies show that lakes in the western Qaidam Basin had gone from inflow to still water deposition to withdrawal.Tectonic movements controlled deposition in various depressions,and the depressions gradually shifted southeastward.In addition,the morphology of the surface structures in the western Qaidam Basin shows that the Cenozoic tectonic movements controlled the evolution of the Basin and divided it into(a) the southern fault terrace zone, (b) a central Yingxiongling orogenic belt,and(c) the northern fold-thrust belt;divided by the XI fault (Youshi fault) and Youbei fault,respectively.The field data indicate that the western Qaidam Basin formed in a Cenozoic compressive tectonic environment caused by the India—Asia plate collision. Further,the Basin experienced two phases of intensive tectonic deformation.The first phase occurred during the Middle Eocene—Early Miocene(Xia Ganchaigou Fm.and Shang Ganchaigou Fm.,43.8—22 Ma),and peaked in the Early Oligocene(Upper Xia Ganchaigou Fm.,31.5 Ma).The second phase occurred between the Middle Miocene and the Present(Shang Youshashan Fm.and Qigequan Fm., 14.9—0 Ma),and was stronger than the first phase.The tectonic—sedimentary evolution and the orientation of surface structures in the western Qaidam Basin resulted from the Tibetan Plateau uplift,and recorded the periodic northward growth of the Plateau.Recognizing this early tectonic—sedimentary evolution supports the previous conclusion that northern Tibet responded to the collision between India and Asia shortly after its initiation.However,the current results reveal that northern Tibet also experienced another phase of uplift during the late Neogene.The effects of these two stages of tectonic activity combined to produce the current Tibetan Plateau. | Yadong Wang Jianjing Zheng Weilin Zhang Shiyuan Li Xingwang Liu Xin Yang Yuhu Liu | 2012 | Geoscience Frontiers2012,3,2: | 23 |
| 2 | Tectonic Evolution of the Tianhuan Depression and the Western Margin of the Late Triassic Ordos显示文摘The Ordos Basin is one of the most important oil and gas basins in China. Based on surface outcrop, key exploratory wells and seismic reflection data and by using the technology of 'prototype basin recovery', seismic profile 'layer flattening' and 'restoration of balanced section',and other methods, the sedimentary boundary, structure and the evolution history of the Tianhuan depression on the western margin of the Ordos Basin are reestablished. The following results have been obtained. (1) The west boundary of the Late Triassic Ordos Basin was far beyond the scope of the current basin. The basin is connected with the Late Triassic Hexi Corridor Basin, and its western margin did not have tectonic characteristics of a foreland basin. (2) The Tianhuan depression was first formed in the Late Jurassic. At the late stage it was impacted by the late Yanshanian and Himalayan tectonic movement and the depression axis gradually moved eastwards to the present location with a cumulative migration distance of ~30 km. A complete set of scaling criteria for water-flooding reservoir of five-spot well pattern case is derived from the 3-D governing equations, involving the gravitational force, the capillary force and the compressibility of water, oil and rock. | 5 | The simulation of nature gas production from ocean gas hydrate reservoir by depressurization显示文摘The vast amount of hydrocarbon gas encaged in gas hydrates is regarded as a kind of future potential energy supply due to its wide deposition and cleanness. How to exploit gas hydrate with safe, effective and economical methods is being pursued. In this paper, a mathematical model is developed to simulate the hydrate dissocia- tion by depressurization in hydrate-bearing porous medium. The model can be used to analyze the effects of the flow of multiphase fluids, the intrinsic kinetic process of hydrate dissociation, the endothermic process of hydrate dissociation, ice-water phase equilibrium, the variation of permeability, the convection and conduction on the hydrate dissociation and gas and water production. The nu- merical results agreed well with the 1-D and 2-D experiments. The numerical results for 3-D hydrate reservoir show that in the first stage of depressurization gas can be produced effectively from hydrate reservoir. With the depletion of reservoir energy because of endothermic process of hydrate dissociation the gas rate decreases rapidly. | 12 | Analysis of proteinaceous binding media used in Tang Dynasty polychrome pottery by MALDI-TOF-MS显示文摘The proteinaceous binding media used in Tang Dynasty polychrome pottery was determined using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS). The optimum conditions for the extraction and subsequent enzymatic hydrolysis of the protein sample were established, and applied to the pretreatment of model and historical samples. Complexation of EDTA in combination with dialysis was determined to be the most effective method for eliminating interferences in polychrome layers taken from historical samples. Model samples were aged by burial in loess so as to more closely replicate the ageing process of the historical samples. Using the aforementioned optimized conditions, the 'peptide mass fingerprint' of the binding media of historical and model samples was determined by MALDI-TOF-MS. Comparisons between the 'peptide mass fingerprint' obtained for the historical sample and those of the model samples proved that animal glue was used as the binding media for the Tang Dynasty polychrome pottery. The forecast error may lead to an imbalance between the load demand and power supply. The object of recent research on forecast error is to achieve the probability distribution of forecast error based on the statistics of historical data. This statistical error achieved from a probability distribution cannot reveal the real-time condition of wind power. A real-time forecast Error estimate method based on dictionary learning(EEDL) was proposed. In EEDL, several coefficients that have strong relevance to the forecast error are computed.The dictionary learning method is used to extract the eigenvalues of forecast error from these coefficients. | 18 | Retrorsine Cooperates with Gut Microbiota to Promote Hepatic Sinusoidal Obstruction Syndrome by Disrupting the Gut Barrier显示文摘Background and Aims:Hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome(HSOS)is a life-threatening syndrome,and a cause is exposure to pyrrolizidine alkaloid(PA)-containing products.It is well-established that retrorsine(RTS),a rep-resentative Pas,insults hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells and ensues congestion of hepatic sinusoids.However,little known about the impact of Pas on gut microbiota and intesti-nal barrier and inflammation in HSOS.Methods:Mice were gavaged with or without nonabsorbable antibiotics(ABX),followed by a single dose of RTS.The gut microbiota was examined by 16S rDNA sequencing.Results:ABX pretreat-ment significantly reversed RTS-induced liver damage.RTS altered gut microbiota composition,increasing Gram-nega-tive bacteria and resulting in a sharp elevation of circulating lipopolysaccharides(LPS)in HSOS mice.Gut decontamina-tion with ABX alleviated RTS-induced intestine inflamma-tion,protected against disruption of the intestinal epithelial barrier and gut vascular barrier(GVB),and suppressed he-patic LPS-NF-κB pathway activation in RTS-induced HSOS.Importantly,the LPS level was positively correlated with MELD score in patients with HSOS.Elevated LPS in patients with HSOS confirmed that Gram-negative bacteria were in-volved in the pathogenesis of HSOS.Conclusions:RTS,a PA,cooperated with gut dysbiosis to cause intestinal inflam-mation and gut barrier compromise that increased transport of gut-derived LPS into the liver through the portal vein,which contributed to the pathology of HSOS.Modulating the gut microbiota,protecting the intestinal barrier,and sup-pressing intestinal inflammation with prebiotics or antibiot-ics might be a useful pharmacologic intervention in HSOS. | Li Xiao Lilin Hu Huikuan Chu Liuying Chen Jingjing Yan Weijun Wang Xiaoqian Yang Qingjing Zhu Fan Du Yuhu Song Peng Chen Xiaohua Hou Ling Yang | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,6: | 2 |
