Contrast-enhanced ultrasound improved performance of breast imaging reporting and data system evaluation of critical breast lesions显示文摘AIM: To determine whether contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) can improve the precision of breast imaging reporting and data system(BI-RADS) categorization. METHODS: A total of 230 patients with 235 solid breast lesions classified as BI-RADS 4 on conventional ultrasound were evaluated. CEUS was performed within one week before core needle biopsy or surgical resection and a revised BI-RADS classification was assigned based on 10 CEUS imaging characteristics. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was then conducted to evaluate the diagnostic performance of CEUS-based BI-RADS assignment with pathological examination as reference criteria. RESULTS: The CEUS-based BI-RADS evaluation classified 116/235(49.36%) lesions into category 3, 20(8.51%), 13(5.53%) and 12(5.11%) lesions into categories 4A, 4B and 4C, respectively, and 74(31.49%) into category 5. Selecting CEUS-based BI-RADS category 4A as an appropriate cut-off gave sensitivity and specificity values of 85.4% and 87.8%, respectively, for the diagnosisof malignant disease. The cancer-to-biopsy yield was 73.11% with CEUS-based BI-RADS 4A selected as the biopsy threshold compared with 40.85% otherwise, while the biopsy rate was only 42.13% compared with 100% otherwise. Overall, only 4.68% of invasive cancers were misdiagnosed.CONCLUSION: This pilot study suggests that evaluation of BI-RADS 4 breast lesions with CEUS results in reduced biopsy rates and increased cancer-to-biopsy yields. | Jun Luo Ji-Dong Chen Qing Chen Lin-Xian Yue Guo Zhou Cheng Lan Yi Li Chi-Hua Wu Jing-Qiao Lu | 2016 | World Journal of Radiology2016,8,6: | 17
Influence of disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate on hydrothermal formation of hemihydrate calcium sulfate whiskers显示文摘The influence of Na_2HPO_4·12H_2O on the hydrothermal formation of hemihydrate calcium sulfate(CaSO_4·0.5H_2O) whiskers from dihydrate calcium sulfate(CaSO_4·2H_2O)at 135 ℃ was investigated.Experimental results indicate that the addition of phosphorus accelerates the hydrothermal conversion of CaSO_4·2H_2O to CaSO_4·0.5H_2O via the formation of Ca_3(PO_4)_2 and produces CaSO_4-0.5H_2O whiskers with thinner diameters and shorter lengths.Compared with the blank experiment without Na_2HPO_4·12H_2O,the existence of minor amounts(8.65 ×10^(-4)-4.36 × 10^(-3) mol/L) of Na_2HPO_4·12H_2O led to a decrease in the diameter of CaSO_4·0.5H_2O whiskers from 1.0-10.0 to 0.5-2.0 μm and lengths from 70-300 to50-200 μm. | Qing Han Kangbi Luo Huping Li Lan Xiang | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,6: | 13
Management of granulomatous lobular mastitis: an international multidisciplinary consensus(2021 edition)显示文摘Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM. Literature was reviewed using PubMed from January 1, 1971 to July 31, 2020. Sixty-six international experienced multidisciplinary experts from 11 countries or regions were invited to review the evidence.Levels of evidence were determined using the American College of Physicians grading system, and recommendations were discussed until consensus. Experts discussed and concluded 30 recommendations on historical definitions, etiology and predisposing factors, diagnosis criteria, treatment, clinical stages, relapse and recurrence of GLM. GLM was recommended as a widely accepted definition. In addition, this consensus introduced a new clinical stages and management algorithm for GLM to provide individual treatment strategies. In conclusion, diagnosis of GLM depends on a combination of history, clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, laboratory examinations and pathology. The approach to treatment of GLM should be applied according to the different clinical stage of GLM. This evidencebased consensus would be valuable to assist front-line surgeons and medical specialists in the optimal management of GLM. | Qian-Qian Yuan Shu-Yuan Xiao Omar Farouk Yu-Tang Du Fereshte Sheybani Qing Ting Tan Sami Akbulut Kenan Cetin Afsaneh Alikhassi Rami Jalal Yaghan Irmak Durur-Subasi Fatih Altintoprak Tae Ik Eom Fatih Alper Mustafa Hasbahceci David Martínez-Ramos Pelin Seher Oztekin Ava Kwong Cedric W.Pluguez-Turul Kirstyn EBrownson Shirish Chandanwale Mehran Habib Liu-Yi Lan Rui Zhou Xian-Tao Zeng Jiao Bai Jun-Wen Bai Qiong-Rong Chen Xing Chen Xiao-Ming Zha Wen-Jie Dai Zhi-Jun Dai Qin-Yu Feng Qing-Jun Gao Run-Fang Gao Bao-San Han Jin-Xuan Hou Wei Hou Hai-Ying Liao Hong Luo Zheng-Ren Liu Jing-Hua Lu Bin Luo Xiao-Peng Ma Jun Qian Jian-Yong Qin Wei Wei Gang Wei Li-Ying Xu Hui-Chao Xue Hua-Wei Yang Wei-Ge Yang Chao-Jie Zhang Fan Zhang Guan-Xin Zhang Shao-Kun Zhang Shu-Qun Zhang Ye-Qiang Zhang Yue-Peng Zhang Sheng-Chu Zhang Dai-Wei Zhao Xiang-Min Zheng Le-Wei Zheng Gao-Ran Xu Wen-Bo Zhou Gao-Song Wu | 2022 | Military Medical Research2022,9,4: | 13
Predictive model for contrast-enhanced ultrasound of the breast: Is it feasible in malignant risk assessment of breast imaging reporting and data system 4 lesions?显示文摘AIM: To build and evaluate predictive models for contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) of the breast to distinguish between benign and malignant lesions. METHODS: A total of 235 breast imaging reporting and data system(BI-RADS) 4 solid breast lesions were imaged via CEUS before core needle biopsy or surgical resection. CEUS results were analyzed on 10 enhancing patterns to evaluate diagnostic performance of three benign and three malignant CEUS models, with pathological results used as the gold standard. A logistic regression model was developed basing on the CEUS results, and then evaluated with receiver operating curve(ROC). RESULTS: Except in cases of enhanced homogeneity, the rest of the 9 enhancement appearances were statistically significant(P < 0.05). These 9 enhancement patterns were selected in the final step of the logistic regression analysis, with diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of 84.4% and 82.7%, respectively, and the area under the ROC curve of 0.911. Diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the malignant vs benign CEUS models were 84.38%, 87.77%, 86.38% and 86.46%, 81.29% and 83.40%, respectively. CONCLUSION: The breast CEUS models can predict risk of malignant breast lesions more accurately, decrease false-positive biopsy, and provide accurate BIRADS classification. | Jun Luo Ji-Dong Chen Qing Chen Lin-Xian Yue Guo Zhou Cheng Lan Yi Li Chi-Hua Wu Jing-Qiao Lu | 2016 | World Journal of Radiology2016,8,6: | 10

Validity of the Chinese Version of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) in Lung Cancer Patients显示文摘The prevalence of malnutrition is high among oncology patients in China. Although the Patient- Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) is widely recognized as an important nutritional assessment tool, it has not been validated for Chinese cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to conduct an analysis of nutrition screening and assessment data to validate the Chinese version of the PG-SGA in Chinese patients with lung cancer. This was an observational, cross-sectional study of 2,000 consecutive adult patients with lung cancer treated at several tertiary hospitals in China. Anthropometric and patient descriptive data were collected. The PG-SGA generated a score for the nutritional risk and a global rating for the nutritional status. The internal consistency, external consistency, and construct validity were evaluated, and a known-groups comparison and principal component analyses were conducted to evaluate the reliability and validity of the PG-SGA. The known-groups comparison demonstrated the ability of the PG-SGA to differentiate lung cancer patients of different nutritional and body mass index (BMI) groups. A confirmatory factor analysis supported the original four-factor structure of the PG-SGA. In terms of the internal and external consistency, the PG-SGA demonstrated intra-class correlation coefficients (ICC) up to 0.987. Alternative form validity was also demonstrated between Box 4 of the PG-SGA and the Karnofsky Performance Status score, with excellent external consistency (r = 0.972, P < 0.001). The construct validity was supported, and selected questionnaire dimensions were evident in the principal component analysis. Significant Spearman correlations (P < 0.001) were demonstrated. The Chinese version of the PG-SGA demonstrated significant reliability and sufficient exploratory properties to support its validity. It seems to be a valid tool that can be used to access the nutritional status of Chinese lung cancer patients. The validity of the PG-SGA in Chinese cancer patients warrants further investigation in other cancer types. | Zhen Ming Fu Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Wei Li Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Chang Wang Han Ping Shi The Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers (INSCOC) Group | 2016 | Journal of Nutritional Oncology2016,1,1: | 7
Exposure Effects of Terahertz Waves on Primary Neurons and Neuron-like Cells Under Nonthermal Conditions显示文摘Objective This study aimed to explore the potential effects of terahertz(THz) waves on primary cultured neurons from 4 rat brain regions(hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and brainstem)and 3 kinds of neuron-like cells(MN9 D, PC12, and HT22 cells) under nonthermal conditions. Methods THz waves with an output power of 50(0.16 THz) and 10(0.17 THz) m W with exposure times of 6 and 60 min were used in this study. Analysis of temperature change, neurite growth, cell membrane roughness, micromorphology, neurotransmitters and synaptic-related proteins(SYN and PSD95) was used to evaluate the potential effects. Results Temperature increase caused by the THz wave was negligible. THz waves induced significant neurotransmitter changes in primary hippocampal, cerebellar, and brainstem neurons and in MN9 D and PC12 cells. THz wave downregulated SYN expression in primary hippocampal neurons and downregulated PSD95 expression in primary cortical neurons. Conclusion Different types of cells responded differently after THz wave exposure, and primary hippocampal and cortical neurons and MN9 D cells were relatively sensitive to the THz waves. The biological effects were positively correlated with the exposure time of the THz waves. | TAN Sheng Zhi TAN Peng Cheng LUO Lan Qing CHI Yun Liang YANG Zi Long ZHAO Xue Long ZHAO Li DONG Ji ZHANG Jing YAO Bin Wei XU Xin Ping TIAN Guang CHEN Jian Kui WANG Hui PENG Rui Yun | 2019 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2019,32,10: | 5
Validity of the Chinese Version of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) in Gastric Cancer Patients显示文摘Purpose Malnutrition is severe among gastric cancer patients in China. While the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) is a widely used nutritional assessment tool, the validation for Chinese patients with gastric cancer has not been performed yet. The aim of this research is to validate the Chinese version of the PGSGA in Chinese gastric cancer patients by conducting analyses of nutrition screening and assessment data. Methods Two thousand consecutive adult patients with gastric cancer were included in this observational, cross-sectional study in several tertiary hospitals in China. A survey was made among those patients, which included several questionnaires and some anthropometric parameters. We calculated the parameters to validate the use of PG-SGA categorizing the nutritional status of gastric cancer patients. Then we performed statistical analysis to evaluate the internal consistency, external consistency, and construct validity. Results This study verified the ability of the PG-SGA to differentiate gastric cancer patients into different nutritional groups. The confirmatory factor analysis verified the original four-factor structure of the PG-SGA. The internal and external consistency was measured by a concordance analysis which showed an intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) of 0.987. The correlations of the Box 4 score with the Karnofsky performance status score demonstrated alternative form validity with good external consistency (Pearson, r = 0.643, P < 0.001). All three anthropometric dimensions of the PG-SGA were supported by principal component analysis. Spearman correlations (P < 0.001) were significant in the majority of tests. Conclusion The Chinese version of the PG-SGA is a valid tool to access the patients’ nutritional status for Chinese gastric patients. | Zhen Ming Fu Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Wei Li Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Chang Wang Han Ping Shi The Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers (INSCOC) Group | 2018 | Journal of Nutritional Oncology2018,3,4: | 5
Extension Protocol for the Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Patients with Common Cancers in China(INSCOC)Study:2021 update显示文摘Background Malnutrition is common in patients with cancer, and this adversely affects the survival and quality of life of patients.Chinese Society for Nutritional Oncology issued a multi-center,large-scale,long-term follow-up prospective study, the Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Patients with Common Cancers in China(INSCOC study)since 2013.This is an extension to the previous 2013-2020 study protocol. This study still sought to:①address the prognostic impact of nutritional factors and quality of life on cancer patient survival;②describe the overall and cancer-specific incidence and/or distribution of malnutrition and different measurements of patient quality of life. Methods and study design This is an observational,multi-centered,hospital-based prospective cohort study.Data collection will be performed at baseline(within 48 hours after patient admission),during the hospital stay and 30 days after hospital admission.Follow-up will be conducted for 1-20 years after enrollment. The primary outcome will be the all-cause mortality/overall survival, and secondary outcomes will be the length of hospital stay and costs of hospitalization.Study factors will include demographic characteristics, tumor characteristics, information about chronic diseases, hematological measurements(e.g.,red blood cell count, total lymphocyte counts,hemoglobin,albumin,prealbumin,creatinine,C-reactive protein,IL-6),anthropometric measurements(e.g.,height,weight,arm circumference, arm muscle circumference, triceps skinfold thickness, and waist circumference),body composition parameters,PG-SGA scores, quality of life(as indicated by the QLQ-C30 questionnaire),muscle mass(as indicated by the calf circumference),muscle strength(as indicated by the handgrip strength),muscle function(as indicated by the six-meter walking speed test)and physical status assessments(as indicated by the Karnofsky Performance Status scores). This clinical study protocol was approved by local Ethics Committees of all the participating hospitals.Written informed consent is required for each subject included.Discussion This multi-center,large-scale,long-term follow up prospective study will help improve the diagnosis of malnutrition in cancer patients and identify the risk factors associated with adverse clinical outcomes. The anticipated results of this study will highlight the need for a truly scientific appraisal of nutrition therapy in Chinese oncology populations, and finally help treat the potentially reversible elements of malnutrition in cancer patients to improve their clinical outcomes in the future. | Hong Xia Xu Chun Hua Song Liang Yu Yin Chang Wang Zhen Ming Fu Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Cong Hua Xie Fu Xiang Zhou Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Zhi Kang Chen Ming Hua Cong Hu Ma Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo Yong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Xiang Hua Wu Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Jian Xiong Wu Min Weng Qing Hua Yao Ya Yin Yu Quan Jun Lyu Hong Qiu Ming Liu Wei Li Han Ping Shi The Investigation on Nutrition Status and Clinical Outcome of Common Cancers(INSCOC)Group | 2022 | Journal of Nutritional Oncology2022,7,2: | 3
Layered-structure N-doped expanded-graphite/boron nitride composites towards high performance of microwave absorption显示文摘High-efficiency microwave absorbers with broadband absorption are strongly desired for electromag-netic protection.Herein,we successfully synthesized a hybrid microwave absorbing material with two-dimensional layered structure, which consisted of expanded graphite(EG)and boron nitride(BN).The introduction of BN is to regulate the conductivity of EG and also to improve the thermal stability of the composite material. The ultrathin BN nano-sheets were uniformly wrapped on the EG sheets via chemi-cal vapor deposition.Attributed to the dielectric loss and conductive loss, the as-prepared hybrid material exhibited high performance for microwave absorption. The effective absorbing bandwidth(reflection loss value<-10 dB)was achieved up to 9.37 GHz with the thickness of 2.4 mm in the frequency range of 5.75-6.98 GHz and 9.86-18 GHz.And the minimum reflection loss was-51.58 dB at the thickness of 3 mm.The excellent performance of microwave absorption was attributed to the dielectric loss, interfacial polarization loss and optimized impedance matching. Moreover, compared to pure EG,the thermal de-composition temperature of EG/BN composite materials had increased by about 100℃which was up to 714℃.Taking the advantages of high thermal stability of BN as well as the fine microwave absorbability of EG,the EG/BN composites would be applied in high-temperature microwave absorbing fields. | Zhuguang Nie Yang Feng Qing Zhu Ying Xia Liping Luo Lan Ma Jie Su Xingman Hu Rumin Wang Shuhua Qi | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,18: | 1

PLSCR1 promotes apoptosis and clearance of retinal ganglion cells in glaucoma pathogenesis显示文摘Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. In the pathogen-esis of glaucoma, activated microglia can lead to retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)apoptosis and death, however, the molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown. We demonstrate that phospholipid scramblase 1(PLSCR1)is a key regulator promoting RGCs apoptosis and their clearance by microglia. As evidenced in retinal progenitor cells and RGCs of the acute ocular hypertension(AOH)mouse model, overexpressed PLSCR1 induced its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and cytomembrane,as well as elevated phosphatidylserine exposure and reactive oxygen species generation with subsequent RGCs apoptosis and death. These damages were effectively attenuated by PLSCR1 inhibition. In the AOH model,PLSCR1 led to an increase in M1 type microglia activation and retinal neuroinflammation.Upregulation of PLSCR1 resulted in strongly elevated phagocytosis of apoptotic RGCs by activated microglia.Taken together, our study provides important insights linking activated microglia to RGCs death in the glaucoma pathogenesis and other RGC-related neurodegenerative diseases. | Jingyi Luo Qing Lian Deliang Zhu Minglei Zhao Tingfang Mei Bizhi Shang Zeqiu Yang Chujun Liu Wenchang Xu Lan Zhou Keling Wu Xinqi Liu Yuhua Lai Fuxiang Mao Weihua Li Chengguo Zuo Kang Zhang Mingkai Lin Yehong Zhuo Yizhi Liu Lin Lu Ling Zhao | 2023 | Genes & Diseases2023,10,4: | 0
Measurement of Br(n,γ)cross sections up to stellar s-process temperatures at the CSNS Back‑n显示文摘The neutron capture cross sections(n,γ)of bromine were obtained using the time-of-flight technique at the Back-n facility of the China Spallation Neutron Source.Promptγ-rays originating from neutron-induced capture events were detected using four C_(6)D_(6) detectors. The pulse-height weighting technique and double-bunch unfolding method based on Bayesian theory were used in the data analysis. Background deductions, normalization, and corrections were carefully considered to obtain reliable measurement results. The multilevel R-matrix Bayesian code SAMMY was used to extract the resonance parameters in the resolved resonance region(RRR).The average cross sections in the unresolved resonance region(URR)were obtained from 10 to 400 keV.The experimental results were compared with data from several evaluated libraries and previous experi-ments in the RRR and URR.The TALYS code was used to describe the average cross sections in the URR.The astrophysical Maxwell average cross sections(MACSs)of ^(79,81)Br from kT=5 to 100 keV were calculated over a sufficiently wide range of neutron energies. At a thermal energy of kT=30 keV,the MACS value for ^(79)Br 682±68 mb was in good agreement with the KADoNiS v1.0 recommended value.By contrast, the value of 293±29 mb for ^(81)Br was substantially higher than that of the evaluated database and the KADoNiS v1.0 recommended value. | Gao‑Le Yang Zhen‑Dong An Wei Jiang Xian‑Kai Li Wei‑Wei Qiu Zheng‑Fa Liao Zi‑Yue Zhuang Xiao‑Ping Zhang Sheng‑Li Chen Chen‑Chen Guo Er‑Xi Xiao Xiao Fang Xin‑Xiang Li Xin‑Rong Hu Bing Jiang Jin‑Cheng Wang Jie Ren Wen Luo Zhi‑Chao Zhu Hao‑Yang Lan Zong‑Wei Cao Xu Ma Ying‑Du Liu Pu‑Sen Wang Yi Yang Ping Su Xian‑Gai Deng Wan‑Bing He Chun‑Wang Ma Yu‑Ting Wang Zhi‑Tao Dai Peng‑Qin He Ren‑Guang Tang Tao Zhou Jing Wang Han Yi Yue Zhang Yong‑Hao Chen Rui‑Rui Fan Ke‑Qing Gao Qiang Li Kang Sun Zhi‑Xin Tan Min‑Hao Gu Han‑Tao Jing Jing‑Yu Tang | 2023 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2023,34,11: | 0
Nutritional Assessment of Gynecological Cancer Patients in China显示文摘Background Malnutrition is common among cancer patients, but few studies have evaluated the nutritional status among gynecological cancer patients in China. This study aimed to assess the nutritional status of women with gynecological cancer using the patient-generated subjective global assessment(PG-SGA).Methods Data for gynecological cancer patients treated at 44 tertiary hospitals were retrieved from a multicenter study on tumor nutrition. The R Software was used for statistical analyses.Univariate analyses of PG-SGA scores were performed using the Chi-squared test for categorical variables and the Wilcoxon-rank sum test or Kruskal-Wallis test for continuous variables,as appropriate. The significance level was 0.05.Results Data for 1962 women with three types of gynecological cancer(cervical, uterine and ovarian cancer)were used for the data analysis. The median PG-SGA score was 4(interquartile range,IQR:1,8),the median participants’age was 51(IQR:46,59)years old,and the patients had a median BMI of 22.9(IQR:20.7,25.4).The percentages of women who had a medical co-morbidity,or had undergone any radical resection, chemotherapy,or radiotherapy were approximately 27.7%,55.4%,52.5%,and 30.2%,respectively.The levels of serum albumin and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were 40.1g/L(IQR:36.8,43.1)and 1.2mmol/L(IQR:1.0,1.5),respectively.The identified risk factors for malnutrition based on the PG-SGA score were age(0.05±0.01,p=0.002),BMI(-0.34±0.04,p<0.001),having a medical co-morbidity(0.95±0.33,p=0.004),receiving radiotherapy(1.52±0.31,p<0.001),the serum albumin level(-0.18±0.03,p<0.001),and the HDL-C(-1.12±0.35,p=0.001)as indicated by a linear regression analysis. Conclusions A higher PG-SGA score is positively associated with the age of the patient, having a medical co-morbidity,and receiving radiotherapy, and is negatively related to the patients’BMI and serum albumin and HDL-C levels. | Wen Ying Li Guo Lan Gao Chun Hua Song Chang Wang Zeng Qing Guo Yuan Lin Ying Ying Shi Wen Hu Yi Ba Su Yi Li Zeng Ning Li Kun Hua Wang Jing Wu Ying He Jia Jun Yang Fu Xiang Zhou Cong Hua Xie Xin Xia Song Gong Yan Chen Wen Jun Ma Su Xia Luo Zi Hua Chen Ming Hua Cong Jian Xiong Wu Chun Ling Zhou Wei Wang Qi Luo ong Mei Shi Yu Mei Qi Hai Ping Jiang Wen Xian Guan Jun Qiang Chen Jia Xin Chen Yu Fang Lan Zhou Yong Dong Feng Rong Shao Tan Tao Li Jun Wen Ou Qing Chuan Zhao Zhen Ming Fu Hong Xia Xu Wei Li Han Ping Shi Investigation on nutrition status and its clinical outcome of common cancers (INSCOC) group | 2017 | Journal of Nutritional Oncology2017,2,3: | 0
Iodine Nutrition, Thyroid-stimulating Hormone, and Related Factors of Postpartum Women from three Different Areas in China: A Cross-sectional Survey显示文摘Objective Studies on the relationship between iodine, vitamin A(VA),and vitamin D(VD)and thyroid function are limited. This study aimed to analyze iodine and thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH)status and their possible relationships with VA,VD,and other factors in postpartum women. Methods A total of 1,311 mothers(896 lactating and 415 non-lactating)from Hebei,Zhejiang, and Guangxi provinces were included in this study. The urinary iodine concentration(UIC),TSH,VA,and VD were measured. Results The median UIC of total and lactating participants were 142.00µg/L and 139.95µg/L,respectively.The median TSH,VA,and VD levels in all the participants were 1.89 mIU/L,0.44μg/mL,and 24.04 ng/mL,respectively.No differences in the UIC were found between lactating and non-lactating mothers.UIC and TSH levels were significantly different among the three provinces. The rural UIC was higher than the urban UIC.Obese mothers had a higher UIC and a higher prevalence of excessive TSH.Higher UICs and TSHs levels were observed in both the VD deficiency and insufficiency groups than in the VD-sufficient group. After adjustment,no linear correlation was observed between UIC and VA/VD.No interaction was found between vitamins A/D and UIC on TSH levels. Conclusion The mothers in the present study had no iodine deficiency.Region, area type,BMI,and VD may be related to the iodine status or TSH levels. | SHAN Xiao Yun ZOU Yan HUANG Li Chun JIANG Shan ZHOU Wei Wen QIN Qiu Lan LIU Chang Qing LUO Xiao Yan LU Jia Xi MAO De Qian LI Min YANG Zhen Yu YANG Li Chen | 2024 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2024,37,3: | 0
