Inhibitory effect of Salicornia europaea on the marine alga Skeletonema costatum显示文摘Exploiting the negative biochemical interference between plants and algal species has been suggested as a method to control harmful algal blooms. In this work,we investigated the inhibitory effect of the salt marsh halophyte Salicornia europaea against the marine alga Skeletonema costatum.S.europaea suppressed the growth of S.costatum in a nutrient-sufficient co-culture system, indicating that the inhibition of algal growth was because of the phytotoxic effect of S.europaea, rather than nutrient competition. We tested aqueous and organic extracts from S.europaea roots against S.costatum.The organic extracts inhibited growth and affected the cell size and chlorophyll a content of S.costatum in a dose-dependent manner.Among the three tested organic extracts, the methanol extract had the greatest effects on S.costatum, followed by butanol extract, and then the chloroform extract. Two flavonoids, rutin and quercetin-3-D-glucoside,were identified in the methanol extract by high performance liquid chromatography. The concentration of rutin was much higher than that of quercetin-3-D-glucoside.In an algal bioassay, rutin inhibited the growth of S.costatum and the inhibitory effect increased with increasing rutin concentration and with decreasing initial algal density. Therefore,we concluded that S.europaea negatively affects the growth of S.costatum, and that rutin,a metabolite of S.europaea, may play a role in this inhibitory effect. | JIANG Dan HUANG LingFeng LIN YongQing NIE LingLing LV SuLian KUANG TingYun LI YinXin | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,6: | 8
The relationships of vitamin D, vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms, and vitamin D supplementation with Parkinson's disease显示文摘In recent years, many studies have investigated the correlations between Parkinson's disease(PD)and vitamin D status, but the conclusion remains elusive. The present review focuses on the associations between PD and serum vitamin D levels by reviewing studies on the associations of PD with serum vitamin D levels and vitamin D receptor(VDR)gene polymorphisms from PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library, and Embase databases. We found that PD patients have lower vitamin D levels than healthy controls and that the vitamin D concentrations are negatively correlated with PD risk and severity.Furthermore, higher vitamin D concentrations are linked to better cognitive function and mood in PD patients.Findings on the relationship between VDR gene polymorphisms and the risk of PD are inconsistent, but the Fokl(C/M)polymorphism is significantly linked with PD.The occurrence of Fokl(CT)gene polymorphism may influence the risk, severity, and cognitive ability of PD patients, while also possibly influencing the effect of Vitamin D3 supplementation in PD patients. In view of the neuroprotective effects of vitamin D and the close association between vitamin D and dopaminergic neurotransmission, interventional prospective studies on vitamin D supplementation in PD patients should be conducted in the future. | Lingling Lv Xuling Tan Xinke Peng Rongrong Bai Qile Xiao Ting Zou Jieqiong Tan Hainan Zhang Chunyu Wang | 2020 | Translational Neurodegeneration2020,9,3: | 5
Injury of cortical neurons is caused by the advanced glycation end products-mediated pathway显示文摘Advanced glycation end products lead to cell apoptosis, and cause cell death by increasing endoplasmic reticulum stress. Advanced glycation end products alone may also directly cause damage to tissues and cells, but the precise mechanism remains unknown. This study used primary cultures of rat cerebral cortex neurons, and treated cells with different concentrations of glycation end products (50, 100, 200, 400 mg/L), and with an antibody for the receptor of advanced glycation end products before and after treatment with advanced glycation end products. The results showed that with increasing concentrations of glycation end products, free radical content increased in neurons, and the number of apoptotic cells increased in a dose-dependent manner. Before and after treatment of advanced glycation end products, the addition of the antibody against advanced glycation end-products markedly reduced hydroxyl free radicals, malondialdehyde levels, and inhibited cell apoptosis. This result indicated that the antibody for receptor of advanced glycation end-products in neurons from the rat cerebral cortex can reduce glycation end product-induced oxidative stress damage by suppressing glycation end product receptors. Overall, our study confirms that the advanced glycation end products-advanced glycation end products receptor pathway may be the main signaling pathway leading to neuronal damage. | Ying Xing Xu Zhang Xiangfu Song Zhongwen Lv Lingling Hou Fei Li | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,10: | 2
Robust dissipative filtering for continuous-time polytopic uncertain neutral systems显示文摘This article is concerned with the problem of robust dissipative filtering for continuous-time polytopic uncertain neutral systems. The main purpose is to obtain a stable and proper linear filter such that the filtering error system is strictly dissipative.A new criterion for the dissipativity of neutral systems is first provided in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMI).Then,an LMI sufficient condition for the existence of a robust filter is established and a design procedure is proposed for this type of systems. Two numerical examples are given. One illustrates the less conservativeness of the proposed criterion;the other demonstrates the validity of the filtering design procedure. | Duan Guangren Lv Lingling Wu Aiguo | 2009 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,3: | 1
Semi-chemical interaction between graphitic carbon nitride and Pt for boosting photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Owing to the exorbitant overpotential and serious carrier recombination of graphitic carbon nitride(gC_(3)N_(4)),noble metal(NM)is usually served as the H_(2)evolution co-catalyst.Although the NM(such as Pt)nanoparticles can reduce the H_(2)evolution overpotential, the weak van der Waals interaction between Pt and g-C_(3)N_(4)makes against the charge transfer.Herein, the solvothermal method is developed to achieve semi-chemical interaction between Pt and g-C_(3)N_(4)nanotube(Pt-CNNT)for fast charge transfer. Moreover, the generated in-plane homojunction of CNNT can accelerate charge separation and restrain recombination.Meanwhile, the metallic Pt is an excellent H_(2)evolution co-catalyst.Photo/electrochemical tests verify that the semi-chemical interaction can improve photogenerated charge separation and transferability of CNNT.As a result, the photocatalytic H_(2)evolution turnover frequency(TOF)of Pt-CNNT under visible light irradiation reaches up to 918 h^(-1),which is one of the highest in the g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts. This work provides a new idea to improve the charge transfer for efficient photocatalytic H_(2)evolution. | Ziai Zhong Lisha Chen Longshuai Zhang Feiyao Wu Xunheng Jiang Haiyan Liu Fengrong Lv Haiyang Xie Fanqi Meng Lingling Zheng Jianping Zou | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6: | 1
Near-infrared chemiluminescent carbon nanogels for oncology imaging and therapy显示文摘Carbon nanogels(CNGs)with dual ability of reactive oxygen species(ROS)imaging and photodynamic therapy have been designed with selfassembled chemiluminescent carbonized polymer dots(CPDs).With efficient deep-red/near-infrared chemiluminescence(CL)emission and distinctive photodynamic capacity, the H2O2-driven chemiluminescent CNGs are further designed by assembling the polymeric conjugate and CL donors, enabling an in vitro and in vivo ROS bioimaging capability in animal inflammation models and a high-performance therapy for xenograft tumors.Mechanistically,ROS generated in inflammatory sites or tumor microenvironment can trigger the chemically initiated electron exchange luminescence in the chemical reaction of peroxalate and H2O2,enabling in vivo CL imaging.Meanwhile, part of the excited-state electrons will transfer to the ambient H2O or dissolved oxygen and in turn lead to the type I and type II photochemical ROS production of hydroxyl radicals or singlet oxygen, endowing the apoptosis of tumor cells and thus enabling cancer therapy. These results open up a new avenue for the design of multifunctional nanomaterials for bioimaging and antienoplastic agents. | Chenglong Shen Tianci Jiang Qing Lou Wenbo Zhao Chaofan Lv Guangsong Zheng Hangrui Liu Pengfei Li Lingling Dai Kaikai Liu Jinhao Zang Feng Wang Lin Dong Songnan Qu Zhe Cheng Chongxin Shan | 2022 | SmartMat2022,3,2: | 1

200-nm long TiO_2 nanorod arrays for efficient solid-state Pb S quantum dot-sensitized solar cellsR显示文摘To ensure the infiltration of spiro-OMeTAD into the quantum dot-sensitized photoanode and to consider the limit of the hole diffusion length in the spiro-OMe TAD layer, a rutile TiO_2 nanorod array with a length of 200 nm, a diameter of 20 nm and an areal density of 720 μm^(-2) was successfully prepared using a hydrothermal method with an aqueous-grown solution of 38 m M titanium isopropoxide and 6 M hydrochloric acid at 170 °C for 75 min. Pb S quantum dots were deposited by a spin coating-assisted successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction(spin-SILAR), and all solid-state Pb S quantum dot-sensitized TiO_2 nanorod array solar cells were fabricated using spiro-OMe TAD as electrolytes. The results revealed that the average crystal size of Pb S quantum dots was ~7.8 nm using Pb(NO_3)_2 as the lead source and remain unchanged with the increase of the number of spin-SILAR cycles. The all solid-state Pb S quantum dot-sensitized TiO_2 nanorod array solar cells with spin-SILAR cycle numbers of 20, 30 and 40 achieved the photoelectric conversion efficiencies of 3.74%, 4.12% and 3.11%, respectively, under AM 1.5 G illumination(100 m W/cm^2). | Zhengguo Zhang Chengwu Shi Kai Lv Chengfeng Ma Guannan Xiao Lingling Ni | 2018 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2018,27,4: | 1
Theoretical study of spin-orbit coupling and intersystem crossing in the two-state reaction between Nb(NH_2)_3 and N_2O显示文摘The two-state mechanism of the reaction of Nb(NH2)3 with N2O on the singlet and triplet potential energy surfaces has been investigated at the B3LYP level.Crossing points between the potential energy surfaces have been located using different methods.Analysis of the strain model shows that the singlet state of the four-coordinate(N2O)Nb(NH2)3 complex with N2O bonded via terminal N atom coordination(12) is more stable in the initial stage of reaction, since the bending of the N2O fragment [Edef(N2O) = 86.1 kcal mol-1] results in an energy splitting of the doubly degenerate LUMO;the low-energy LUMO can now strongly couple with the occupied Nb-localized d orbitals, forming a back-bond and transferring charge(q = 0.82 e) from Nb(NH2)3 to the N2O ligand.Going from 32 to 12,the reacting system changes spin multiplicity near the MECP(minimal energy crossing point) region, which takes place with a spin crossing barrier of 9.6-10.0 kcal mol-1.Analysis of spin-orbit coupling(SOC) indicates that MECP will produce a significant SOC matrix element. The value of SOC is 111.52 cm-1,due to the electron shift between two perpendicular φ orbitals with the same rotation direction, and the magnitude of the spin-multi-plicity mixing increases in the small energy gap between high-and low-spin states, greatly enhancing the probability of intersystem crossing. The probabilities of single(P1 ISC) and double(P2 ISC) passes estimated at MECP(SOC = 111.52 cm-1) are approximately 1.17×10-2 and 2.32×10-2,respectively. | LV LingLing WANG XiaoFang ZHU YuanCheng LIU XinWen WANG-YongCheng | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,1: | 1

Theoretical study of deactivation and isomerization pathways of 1,2-dithiete in excited electronic states显示文摘The potential energy surface crossings for 1,2-dithiete have been investigated using the complete active space self-consistent field(CASSCF) method and simple group theory.Using the full Pauli-Breit spin-orbit coupling(SOC) operator(■) SO) which consists of the one-electron(■) SO1) and two-electron(■) SO2) terms,we estimate the strengths of the SOC(198.37 cm-1 when symmetry is imposed, and 211.35 cm-1 with no symmetry constraints),which plays an essential role in the spin transitions between different spin states. The calculations show that the photolysis of 1,3-dithiol-2-one leads to the formation of trans-dithioglyoxal(trans-MinS0) as a primary product which subsequently gives a secondary product identified as thiolthioketene. Our calculated results are in close agreement with the experimental observations. | LV LingLing YANG Sheng WANG XiaoFang YUAN Kun LIU XinWen WANG YongCheng | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,8: | 0
Variation and relationship between soil moisture and environmental factors in the source region of the Yangtze River from 2005 to 2016显示文摘This study analyzed soil moisture, soil erosion, and vegetation in the source region of the Yangtze River from 2005 to 2016.We found that soil moisture showed an increasing trend from 2005 to 2009 but decreased from 2009 to 2016.The surface soil moisture was severely affected by seasonal changes in the source region of the Yangtze River, especially in the soil from 0 to 40 cm.However, seasonal variation of soil moisture deeper than 40 cm was different from that in the upper layer.Soil moisture below 40 cm wasn't affected by the seasonal variation.Soil moisture from 0 to 50 cm and the average thickness of wind deposition showed a positive correlation in the study area from 2005 to 2016.For environmental protection in the source region of the Yangtze River, wind deposition played a role in water retention.Similarly,a positive correlation also existed between the average thickness of wind erosion and soil moisture.Deep-soil moisture was the key factor for vegetation structure on the Qinghai?Tibet Plateau. The results are also helpful for further understanding the variation of soil moisture on the Tibetan Plateau and providing a scientific basis for effectively protecting and controlling the ecological environment in the future. | LingLing Song ZongJie Li Qing Tian LieFu Wang Jing He RuiFeng Yuan Juan Gui BaiJuan Zhang YueMin Lv | 2019 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2019,11,3: | 0
Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the GhIQD gene family in upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)显示文摘Background:Calmodulin(CaM)is one of the most important Ca^(2+)signaling receptors because it regulates diverse physiological and biochemical reactions in plants.CaM functions by interacting with CaM-binding proteins(CaMBPs)to modulate Ca^(2+)signaling.IQ domain(IQD)proteins are plant-specific CaMBPs that bind to CaM by their specific CaM binding sites. Results:In this study,we identified 102 GhIQD genes in the Gossypium hirsutum L.genome.The GhIQD gene family was classified into four clusters(Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,andⅣ),and we then mapped the GhIQD genes to the G.hirsutum L.chromosomes.Moreover,we found that 100 of the 102 GhIQD genes resulted from segmental duplication events, indicating that segmental duplication is the main force driving GhIQD gene expansion.Gene expression pattern analysis showed that a total of 89 GhIQD genes expressed in the elongation stage and second cell wall biosynthesis stage of the fiber cells, suggesting that GhIQD genes may contribute to fiber cell development in cotton. In addition,we found that 20 selected GhIQD genes were highly expressed in various tissues.Exogenous application of MeJA significantly enhanced the expression levels of GhIQD genes. Conclusions:Our study shows that GhIQD genes are involved in fiber cell development in cotton and are also widely induced by MeJA.Thw results provide bases to systematically characterize the evolution and biological functions of GhIQD genes,as well as clues to breed better cotton varieties in the future. | DOU Lingling LV Limin KANG Yangyang TIAN Ruijie HUANG Deqing LI Jiayin LI Siyi LIU Fengping CAO Lingyan JIN Yuhua LIU Yang LI Huaizhu WANG Wenbo PANG Chaoyou SHANG Haihong ZOU Changsong SONG Guoli XIAO Guanghui | 2021 | Journal of Cotton Research2021,4,1: | 0
Real-time bottleneck matching in spatial crowdsourcing显示文摘Dear editor,Spatial crowdsourcing(SC)services(e.g.,Uber,DiDi,and Meituan)have become popular with smart-phone growth. However, the online matching problems in real-time spatial data are a key issue in SC[1–4].Unlike the current one-sided online matching study in real-time spatial data[5],which focuses on minimizing the overall cost of the matching,we focus on minimizing the bottleneck cost,i.e.,minimizing the maximum distance cost of the matching. The reason why we consider the bottleneck optimization goal is explained in Appendix A.The real-time minimum bottleneck matching(RMBM)problem in SC is defined as follows. | Long LI Lingling WANG Weifeng LV | 2021 | Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,8: | 0
Targeted Genotyping of a Whole-Gene Repertoire by an Ultrahigh-Multiplex and Flexible HD-Marker Approach显示文摘Targeted genotyping is an extremely powerful approach for the detection of known genetic variations that are biologically or clinically important. However, for non-model organisms,large-scale target geno-typing in a cost-effective manner remains a major challenge. To address this issue,we present an ultrahigh-multiplex,in-solution probe array-based high-throughput diverse marker genotyping(HD-Marker)approach that is capable of targeted genotyping of up to 86000 loci, with coverage of the whole gene repertoire,in what is a 27-fold and six-fold multiplex increase in comparison with the conventional Illumina GoldenGate and original HD-Marker assays, respectively. We perform extensive analyses of var-ious ultrahigh-multiplex levels of HD-Marker(30 k-plex,56 k-plex,and 86 k-plex)and show the power and excellent performance of the proposed method with an extremely high capture rate(about 96%)and genotyping accuracy(about 96%).With great advantages in terms of cost(as low as 0.0006 USD per geno-type)and high technical flexibility,HD-Marker is a highly efficient and powerful tool with broad appli-cation potential for genetic, ecological, and evolutionary studies of non-model organisms. | Pingping Liu Jia Lv Cen Ma Tianqi Zhang Xiaowen Huang Zhihui Yang Lingling Zhang Jingjie Hu Shi Wang Zhenmin Bao | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,6: | 0
A novel approach for remanufacturing process planning considering uncertain and fuzzy information显示文摘Remanufacturing,as one of the optimal disposals of end-of-life products, can bring tremendous economic and ecological benefits.Remanufacturing process planning is facing an immense challenge due to uncertainties and fuzziness of recoverable products in damage conditions and remanufacturing quality requirements.Although researchers have studied the influence of uncertainties on remanufacturing process planning, very few of them comprehensively studied the interactions among damage conditions and quality requirements that involve uncertain, fuzzy information.Hence, this challenge in the context of uncertain, fuzzy information is undertaken in this paper, and a method for remanufacturing process planning is presented to maximize remanufacturing efficiency and minimize cost.In particular, the characteristics of uncertainties and fuzziness involved in the remanufacturing processes are explicitly analyzed. An optimization model is then developed to minimize remanufacturing time and cost. The solution is provided through an improved Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy neural network(T-S FNN)method. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is exemplified and elucidated by a case study. Results show that the training speed and accuracy of the improved T-S FNN method are 23.5%and 82.5%higher on average than those of the original method, respectively. | Yan LV Congbo LI Xikun ZHAO Juan LI Lingling LI | 2021 | Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2021,16,3: | 0
Alleviatory effect of rare earth micro-fertilizer on photosystemⅡ(PSⅡ)photoinhibition in Pseudostellaria heterophylla leaves at photosynthetic midday depression显示文摘In order to explo re the mitigatory mechanism of rare earths on the midday depression of photosynthesis, this study used fast-phase chlorophyll fluorescence technology combined with an antioxidant enzyme system to analyze the effects of lanthanum and cerium on the photosystemⅡ(PSⅡ)function of Pseudostellaria heterophylla leaves at noon. The results show that the maximum photochemical efficiency(F_(v)/F_(m))and the photosynthetic performance index(PI_(ABS))of P.heterophylla leaves during the photo synthetic noon-break are only 0.73 and 0.86,respectively.The leaves of P.heterophylla show obvious photoinhibition. The application of two rare earth fertilizers promotes the light energy absorption, capture, conversion, and electron transfer efficiencies of PSⅡin the P.heterophylla leaves and alleviates the photoinhibition caused by excess excitation energy.Additionally, the effect of lanthanum is better than that of cerium. In the fertilization groups,P.heterophylla leaves show higher PSⅡphotochemical activity.Fertilization protects the oxygen-evolving complex(OEC)activity of P.heterophylla, thus reducing oxidative damage to the chloroplasts and preventing the dissociation of the thylakoids to maintain the normal physiological functioning of PSⅡ,thereby reducing the degree of photoinhibition.Additionally, fertilization increases the electron transfer ability from Q_(A) to Q_(B) on the PSⅡelectron receptor side of P.heterophylla.Correlation analysis shows that the fluorescence parameters V_(L),V_(K),and V_(J) are significantly negatively correlated with antioxidant enzyme activity and are significantly positively correlated with malondialdehyde content, relative electric conductivity and reactive oxygen species(ROS),which further indicates that rare earths can enhance the ROS scavenging system in plants and reduce the degree of membrane lipid peroxidation and plasma membrane damage, thereby maintaining the structure and function of the OEC on the donor side of PSⅡ,increasing the electron receptor pool, and contributing to the defense against photoinhibition. | Yingli Ma Tao Wang Yinfeng Xie Qian Lv Lingling Qiu | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,7: | 0
