2Pollen-recorded climate changes between 13.0 and 7.0 ^(14)C ka BP in southern Ningxia,China显示文摘A pollen record from Haiyuan section in the southern part of Ningxia revealed a detailed history of vegetation variation and associated climate changes during the period from^13.0 to^7.0 14 C ka BP.A steppe landscape under a moderately dry(and probably cool)condition(~12.7-~12.1 14 C ka BP)was replaced by a coniferous forest dominating the landscape under a generally wet climate from^12.1 to ~11.01 4C ka BP.This generally wet period,corresponding to the European B?lling/All?rod period,can be divided into three stages:a cool and wet stage between^12.1 and^11.4 14 C ka BP,a mild and rela- tively dry stage between^11.4 and^11.2 14 C ka BP,and a mild and wet stage between^11.2 and^11.0 14 C ka BP.The coniferous forest-dominated landscape was then deteriorated into steppe landscape (~11.0-~10.6 14 C ka BP)and further into a desert steppe landscape from^10.6 to^9.8 14 C ka BP,being correspondent to the European Younger Dryas period.After a brief episode of a cool and wet climate (~9.8-~9.6 14 C ka BP),a relatively mild and dry condition prevailed during the early Holocene(~9.6- ~7.6 14 C ka BP)and then a warm and humid climate started the mid-Holocene(~7.6-~7.2 14 C ka BP).SUN AiZhi MAYuZhen FENG ZhaoDong LI Fei WU HuiNing 2007Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,8:6

15Growth of large scale PtTe,PtTe_(2) and PtSe_(2) films on a wide range of substrates显示文摘1T phase of transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)formed by group 10 transition metals(e.g.Pt,Pd)have attracted increasing interests due to their novel properties and potential device applications.Synthesis of large scale thin films with controlled phase is critical especially considering that these materials have relatively strong interlayer interaction and are difficult to exfoliate.Here we report the growth of centimeter-scale PtTe,1T-PtTe2 and 1T-PtSe2 films via direct deposition of Pt metals followed by tellurization or selenization.We find that by controlling the Te flux,a hitherto-unexplored PtTe phase can also be obtained,which can be further tuned into PtTe2 by high temperature annealing under Te flux.These films with different thickness can be grown on a wide range of substrates,including NaCl which can be further dissolved to obtain free-standing PtTe2 or PtSe2 films.Moreover,a systematic thickness dependent resistivity and Hall conductivity measurements show that distinguished from the semiconducting PtSe2 with hole carriers,PtTe2 and PtTe films are metallic.Our work opens new opportunities for investigating the physical properties and potential applications of group 10 TMDC films and the new monochalcogenide PtTe film.Kenan Zhang Meng Wang Xue Zhou Yuan Wang Shengchun Shen Ke Deng Huining Peng Jiaheng Li Xubo Lai Liuwan Zhang Yang Wu Wenhui Duan Pu Yu Shuyun Zhou 2021Nano Research2021,14,6:1

17The mechanisms,evaluation and estimation of anti-skid performance of snowy and icy pavement:A review显示文摘The anti-skid performance of snowy and icy pavements is a popular research topic among road workers.Snow and ice are pollutants on a road surface.They significantly reduce the skid resistance of pavements,and thus,cause traffic accidents.Pertinent research progress on the skid resistance of snowy and icy pavements was reviewed and summarized in this work.The formation and classification of snowy and icy pavements were described on the basis of the state of snow and ice.The friction mechanisms between tires and snowy and icy pavements were revealed.Measurement methods and their applicability to the skid resistance of snowy and icy pavements were summarized.Factors that affect the skid resistance of pavements were discussed from the perspectives of pavement,environment,and vehicle.In addition,models of snowy and icy pavement resistance were classified into experience,mechanical,and numerical models.The advantages and disadvantages of these models were then compared and analyzed.Some suggestions regarding snowy and icy pavements were presented in accordance with the aforementioned information,including the development of efficient testing tools,the quantification of skid resistance under the coupling effects of multiple factors,the establishment of unified evaluation standards,and the development of more effective skid resistance models.Yiqiu Tan Jilu Li Huining Xu Zhiwei Li Heru Wang 2023Journal of Road Engineering2023,3,3:0
18Differential expression of related molecules after acute injury of rabbits'anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament显示文摘The drastic difference in healing capacity between the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament injuries is still largely unexplained.So,studying the molecular expression after anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament injury could be a new direction to explain such differences.In this study,eighteen male 3-month-old New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into six groups by injury modeling to study the molecular expression after anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament injury.The expression of molecular genes and proteins was examined using reverse transcriptase chain reaction and Western blotting.Marked differences were found in the postinjury changes in gene levels and proteins in the anterior cruciate ligament compared to the medial collateral ligament.The results show that there were drastic differences in angiogenesis,collagen and matrix metalloproteinases after anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament injury.It can be found that the repair ability of the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament after injury may be related to the differences in molecular expression.Han Yinhe Gu Huining Zhang Mingzheng Li Bin Wen Yu 2021解剖学杂志2021,44,S01:0
19An injectable signal-amplifying device elicits a specific immune response against malignant glioblastoma显示文摘Despite exciting achievements with some malignancies,immunotherapy for hypoimmunogenic cancers,especially glioblastoma(GBM),remains a formidable clinical challenge.Poor immunogenicity and deficient immune infiltrates are two major limitations to an effective cancer-specific immune response.Herein,we propose that an injectable signal-amplifying nanocomposite/hydrogel system consisting of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor and imiquimod-loaded antigen-capturing nanoparticles can simultaneously amplify the chemotactic signal of antigen-presenting cells and the'danger'signal of GBM.We demonstrated the feasibility of this strategy in two scenarios of GBM.In the first scenario,we showed that this simultaneous amplification system,in conjunction with local chemotherapy,enhanced both the immunogenicity and immune infiltrates in a recurrent GBM model;thus,ultimately making a cold GBM hot and suppressing postoperative relapse.Encouraged by excellent efficacy,we further exploited this signal-amplifying system to improve the efficiency of vaccine lysate in the treatment of refractory multiple GBM,a disease with limited clinical treatment options.In general,this biomaterial-based immune signal amplification system represents a unique approach to restore GBM-specific immunity and may provide a beneficial preliminary treatment for other clinically refractorymalignancies.Qiujun Qiu Sunhui Chen Huining He Jixiang Chen Xinyi Ding Dongdong Wang Jiangang Yang Pengcheng Guo Yang Li Jisu Kim Jianyong Sheng Chao Gao Bo Yin Shihao Zheng Jianxin Wang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:0
20Salt effect on MUCT system performance of nitrogen and phosphorus removal显示文摘The effect of salinity on biological nitrogen and denitrifying phosphorus removal was investigated in a Modified University of Cape Town(MUCT)system.Removal rates of COD,NH_(4)^(+)-N,NO_(3)^(-)-N,NO_(2)^(-)-N,phosphorus and the sludge characteristics at salt concentrations(0.0,3.2,6.4,11.2 and 16.0 g L^(-1))were analyzed.With the salt concentration increasing,all the COD,NH_(4)^(+)-N,TN and TP removal rates exhibited a trend of decline,and exhibited an initial reduction and subsequent increase at every stage of salt concentration.NH_(4)^(+)-N,TN and TP removal rates were 92.7%,51.5%and 67.2%in 16 g L^(-1) salt concentration,respectively.And they were outperformed the literature reported and acceptable in practical applications.When the salinity of wastewater changed from 0.0 to 16.0 g L^(-1),the biomass yield coefficients increased from 0.0794 to 0.126 g VSS/g COD.Increased salinity had a detrimental effect on phosphorus-accumulating organisms(PAOs)and denitrifying PAOs(DPAOs)(especially DPAOs).Therefore,phosphorus removal gradually depended on PAO.The simultaneous nitrification and denitrification(SND)rate and nitrogen removal rate(including nitrification rate,denitrification rate,and total nitrogen removal rate)gradually decreased with the increased salinity.Huining Zhang Zhuowei Zhang Kewei Jiang Zhili Li Kefeng Zhang Jianqing Ma Yongxing Qian 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,5:0
