| 1 | Stenting for symptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis in China:1-year outcome of a multicentre registry study显示文摘background and purpose A multicentre prospective registry study of individually tailored stenting for a patient with symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ICAS)combined with poor collaterals in China showed that the short-term safety and efficacy of stenting was acceptable.However,it remained uncertain whether the low event rate could be of a long term.We reported the 1-year outcome of this registry study to evaluate the long-term efficacy of individually tailored stenting for patients with severe symptomatic ICAS combined with poor collaterals.Methods Patients with symptomatic ICAS caused by 70%-99% stenosis located at the intracranial internal carotid,middle cerebral,intracranial vertebral or basilar arteries combined with poor collaterals were enrolled.Balloon-mounted stent or balloon plus self-expanding stent were selected based on the ease of vascular access and lesion morphology determined by the operators.The primary outcome was the rate of 30-day stroke,transient ischaemic attack and death,and 12-month ischaemic stroke within the same vascular territory,haemorrhagic stroke and vascular death after stenting.results From September 2013 to January 2015,300 patients(ages 58.3±9.78 years)were recruited.Among them,159 patients were treated with balloon-mounted stent and 141 with balloon plus self-expanding stent.During the 1-year follow-up,25 patients had a primary end point event.The probability of primary outcome at 1 year was 8.1%(95% CI 5.3% to 11.7%).In 76 patients with digital subtraction angiography follow-up,27.6%(21/76)had re-stenosis≥50% and 18.4%(14/76)had re-stenosis≥70%.No baseline characteristic was associated with the primary outcome.Conclusion The event rate remains low over 1 year of individually tailored stenting for patients with severe symptomatic ICAS combined with poor collaterals.Further randomised trial of comparing individually tailored stenting with best medical therapy is needed. | Ning Ma Yong Zhang Jie Shuai Changchun Jiang Qiyi Zhu Kangning Chen Li Liu Baomin Li Xiangqun Shi Lianbo Gao Yajie Liu Feng Wang Yongli Li Tieyan Liu Hongbo Zheng Dapeng Mo Feng Gao Yilong Wang Yongjun Wang Lei Feng Zhongrong Miao | 2018 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,3: | 29 |
| 2 | Comparison of anti-atherosclerotic effects of two different extracts from leaves of Mallotus furetianus显示文摘Objective:To compare the anti-atherosclerotic effects of two different extracts from the leaves of Mallotus fiiretianus by using rat model of atherosclerosis.Methods:The air-flriefl powdered Mallotus fiiretianus leaves were extracted with ethanol and then evaporated.The ethanol extract was experienced Diaion HP-20 CC with a gradient of MeOH and H2O(50:50,100:0,v/v) and two fractions,Mallotus fiiretianus A(Mf A) and Mallotus fiiretianus B(MfB) were obtained.RaLs were divided into control,atherosclerosis and vitamin E,Mf A and Mf B treated groups.Atherosclerotic model was established by administering u loading dose of vitamin D3 and feeding standard diet enriched with 2%cholesterol,0.5%porcine chelate,0.2%methimazole,5%sugar,10%pork fat. Vitamin E(0.20 g/kg),Mf A(0.053 g/kg),Mf B(0.057 g/kg)(with the potential) were administered to interfere with the development of atherosclerosis.After 9 weeks,rats were sacrificed and the blood lipid as well as composition of bile was examined.In addition,the thoracic aorta was harvested to evaluate histological changes and the intima-media thickness ratio.Results: Atherosclerosis model was successfully established,administration of vitamin E,Mf A and Mf B increased excretion of total bilirubin in bile,decreased triglycridc(TO),total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C) level,enhanced ratio of high density lipoprotein-cholesterol and LDL-C in blood,improved histological changes and diminished intimamedia thickness ratio of thoracic aorta in atherosclerotic rats.As for the difference in antiatherosclerotic effects between Mf A and MfB,Mf A may be more powerful in declining TG level and Mf B may be more effective in decreasing TC level.Conclusions:The two different extracts. | 3 | 3D N,O-Codoped Egg-Box-Like Carbons with Tuned Channels for High Areal Capacitance Supercapacitors显示文摘Functional carbonaceous materials for supercapacitors(SCs)without using acid for post-treatment remain a substantial challenge.In this paper,we present a less harmful strategy for preparing three-dimensional(3D)N,O-codoped egg-box-like carbons(EBCs).The as-prepared EBCs with opened pores provide plentiful channels for ion fast transport,ensure the e ective contact of EBCs electrodes and electrolytes,and enhance the electron conduction.The nitrogen and oxygen atoms doped in EBCs improve the surface wettability of EBC electrodes and provide the pseudocapacitance.Consequently,the EBCs display a prominent areal capacitance of 39.8μF cm-2(340 F g-1)at 0.106 m A cm-2 in 6 M KOH electrolyte.The EBC-based symmetric SC manifests a high areal capacitance to 27.6μF cm-2(236 F g-1)at 0.1075 m A cm-2,a good rate capability of 18.8μF cm-2(160 F g-1)at 215 m A cm-2 and a long-term cycle stability with only 1.9%decay after 50,000 cycles in aqueous electrolyte.Impressively,even in all-solid-state SC,EBC electrode shows a high areal capacitance of 25.0μF cm-2(214 F g-1)and energy density of 0.0233 m Wh cm-2.This work provides an acid-free process to prepare electrode materials from industrial by-products for advanced energy storage devices. | Feng Wei Xiaojun He Lianbo Ma Hanfang Zhang Nan Xiao Jieshan Qiu | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,7: | 13 |
| 4 | Efficacy and safety of external application of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of acute gouty arthritis: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of external application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (EATCM) on acute gouty arthritis (AGA).METHODS:Six electronic data bases were retrieved from their inception to march 2017.15 randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) were included.The quality of the literatures was assessed according to Cochrane review criteria by using RevMan5.3 software;and related data was counted using Stata14.0 software.RESULTS:There was no significant difference in C-reactiveprotein (CRP) between experimental intervention group and control group [(WMD =1.093,95% C/(-2.514,4.701);P =0.553)].In terms of overall efficacy,the EATCM's treatment group was significantly superior to control group [(OR =3.692;95% CI (2.408,5.661);P <0.001)].The EATCM was better than western medicine treatments or other interventions in reducing the adverse reactions [(OR =0.135;95% CI (0.067,0.274);P < 0.001)].All these funnel plots showed unlikelihood of publishing bias.But due to excessive heterogeneity,the statistical results of serum uric acid and visual analogue scale and CRP between the two groups became uncertain.CONCLUSION:The results indicate that EATCM may have greater overall efficacy with fewer adverse drug reactions,although the evidence is weak owing to the low methodological quality and the small number of the included trials. | Huang Xinxing Zhu Zonghua Wu Guang-hui Min Peng Fei Peng Zhu Tao Wang Xuezong Xiao Lianbo | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,3: | 12 |

| 8 | Efficacy and safety of Reduqing granules in the treatment of common cold with wind-heat syndrome: a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, positive-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of Reduqing granules in patients with common cold with wind-heat syndrome(CCWHS).METHODS:A randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel, positive-controlled trial included 72 CCWHS patients was performed.The participants were randomly assigned to two groups,Reduqing(RDQ) group and Lianhuaqingwen(LHQW) group, in a 1∶1 ratio.Patients in RDQ group received Reduqing granules and dummy Lianhuaqingwen capsules three times a day and patients in LHQW group received Lianhuaqingwen capsules and dummy Reduqing granules three times daily.The duration of treatment and follow-up were four days.RESULTS:There were no statistically significant differences in total markedly effective rate and total effective rate between RDQ group and LHQW group after treatment.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) symptom score was significantly reduced after treatment in RDQ group, as well as in LHQW group.However, the difference of change in TCM symptom score between two groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).There were no significant differences between two groups in the median time to fever relief [RDQ group(4 ± 8) h vs LHQW group(4 ± 5) h] or the median time to fever clearance(RDQ group 47 h vs LHQW 36 h).No serious adverse events were reported during the study.CONCLUSION:Compared with Lianhuaqingwen capsules, Reduqing granules achieved similar therapeutic effect in the treatment of CCWHS and no drug-related adverse events were reported during the study.Therefore, Reduqing granules might be effective and safe in the treatment of CCWHS. | Ma Yanjiao Zhang Zhongyi Wei Lianbo He Shuai Deng Xun Ji Aimin Zhou Benjie Jiang Deqi Li Mingxing Wang Yong | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2: | 5 |
| 9 | Controlled growth and photoconductive properties of hexagonal SnS2 nanoflakes with mesa-shaped atomic steps显示文摘We demonstrated the controlled growth of two-dimensional (2D) hexagonal tin disulfide (SnS2) nanoflakes with stacked monolayer atomic steps. The morphology was similar to flat-topped and step-sided mesa plateaus or step pyramids. The SnS2 nanoflakes were grown on mica substrates via an atmospheric-pressure chemical vapor deposition process using tin monosulfide and sulfur powder as precursors. Atomic force microscopy (AFM), electron microscopy, and Raman characterizations were performed to investigate the structural features, and a sequential layer-wise epitaxial growth mechanism was revealed. In addition, systematic Raman characterizations were performed on individual SnS2 nanoflakes with a wide range of thicknesses (1-100 nm), indicating that the A1g peak intensity and Raman shifts were closely related to the thickness of the SnS2 nanoflakes. Moreover, photoconductive AFM was performed on the monolayer-stepped SnS2 nanoflakes, revealing that the flat surface and the edges of the SnS2 atomic steps had different electrical conductive properties and photoconductive behaviors. This is ascribed to the dangling bonds and defects at the atomic step edges, which caused a height difference of the Schottky barriers formed at the interfaces between the PtIr-coated AFM tip and the step edges or the flat surface of the SnS2 nanoflakes. | 13 | Identification of Graves’ophthalmology by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy combined with machine learning method显示文摘Diagnosis of the Graves’ophthalmology remains a significant challenge.We identified between Graves’ophthalmology tissues and healthy controls by using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS)combined with machine learning method.In this work,the paraffin-embedded samples of the Graves’ophthalmology were prepared for LIBS spectra acquisition.The metallic elements(Na,K,Al,Ca),non-metallic element(O)and molecular bands((C-N),(C-O))were selected for diagnosing Graves’ophthalmology.The selected spectral lines were inputted into the supervised classification methods including linear discriminant analysis(LDA),support vector machine(SVM),k-nearest neighbor(ANN),and generalized regression neural network(GRNN),respectively.The results showed that the predicted accuracy rates of LDA,SVM,ANN,GRNN were 76.33%,96.28%,96.56%,and 96.33%,respectively.The sensitivity of four models were 75.89%,93.78%,96.78%,and 96.67%,respectively.The specificity of four models were 76.78%,98.78%,96.33%,and 96.00%,respectively.This demonstrated that LIBS assisted with a nonlinear model can be used to identify Graves’ophthalmopathy with a higher rate of accuracy.The ANN had the best performance by comparing the three nonlinear models.Therefore,LIBS combined with machine learning method can be an effective way to discriminate Graves’ophthalmology. | Jingjing LI Feng CHEN Guangqian HUANG Siyu ZHANG Weiliang WANG Yun TANG Yanwu CHU Jian YAO Lianbo GUO Fagang JIANG | 2021 | Frontiers of Optoelectronics2021,14,3: | 3 |

| 15 | Abnormal high pressure in Kuqa foreland thrust belt of Tarim basin: Origin and impacts on hydrocarbon accumulation显示文摘Following analyses of the abnormal high pressure distribution characteristics, based on the geological characteristics, tectonic stress field and physical simulation, we investigated the formation mechanisms of abnormal high pressure and its impacts on hydrocarbon accumulation in the Kuqa foreland thrust belt. The abnormal high pressure appears at the bottom of the Paleogene and obviously exists in the Triassic and Jurassic. However, the pressure coefficient in the Triassic and Jurassic is lower than that in the Cretaceous and at the bottom of the Paleogene. Horizontally, the abnormal high pressure distribution is characterized by E-W orientation zoning. The maximum pressure coefficient lies in the Kelasu-Dongqiu-Dina tectonic zones in the center of the Kuqa foreland thrust belt and decreases away from the tectonic zones. The formation of abnormal high pressure was mainly related with the intense tectonic compression in the Early Pleistocene time, and tectonic uplifting, undercompaction and hydrocarbon generation were secondary factors contributing to abnormal high pressure. Under the rapid and intense tectonic compression in the Early Pleistocene, the rock framework firstly undertook 1/4 of the compression stress and the other was borne by the pore fluids. Due to the presence of great seal of gypsum-salt or gypsum-mudstone beds in the Paleogene, the pressure of pore fluids increased rapidly and led to the abnormal high pressure in the Kuqa foreland thrust belt. The abnormal high pressure has important impacts on hydrocarbon accumulation. | 16 | lncRNA NEAT1 prompts autophagy and apoptosis in MPTP-induced Parkinson’s disease by impairing miR-374c-5p显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play biological roles in brain disorder and neurodegenerative diseases.As the functions of lncRNA NEAT1 in Parkinson’s disease(PD)remain unknown,in the present study,we aimed to explore the roles and underlying molecular mechanisms of NEAT1 in PD.A PD mouse model induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP)and a cell model of SH-SY5Y induced by N-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium(MPP+)were established.The ratio of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH+)cells was determined by immunofluorescence assay,and the behavioral changes in mice were observed using pole tests and rotarod tests.The cellular viability and apoptosis of SH-SY5Y were detected by MTT assay and flow cytometric analysis,respectively,and the number of autophagosomes was subsequently measured by transmission electron microscopy.High-performance liquid chromatography was performed to detect the content of dopamine,and a dual-luciferase reporter assay was used to clarify the target of NEAT1 simultaneously.The results demonstrated that the level of NEAT1 was upregulated in the MPTP-induced PD mice,dopamine neurons,and the SH-SY5Y cells treated with MPP+,whereas the level of miR-374c-5p was downregulated.NEAT1 level was positively correlated with MPP+in a concentration-dependent manner.NEAT1 inhibition efficiently facilitated cell proliferation but inhibited apoptosis and autophagy in the MPP+-treated SH-SY5Y cells.Additionally,silencing of NEAT1 increased the TH+rate of neurons and suppressed autophagy greatly in PD mice.As a possible target of NEAT1,miR-374c-5p could impact on the apoptosis and autophagy of the SH-SY5Y cells.NEAT1 inhibition upregulated the expression of miR-374c-5p,enhanced SH-SY5Y cell viability,and repressed autophagy and apoptosis in MPTP-induced PD mice.These findings indicated a potential therapeutic role of NEAT1 in treating PD. | Li Dong Yumin Zheng Lianbo Gao Xiaoguang Luo | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,7: | 3 |

| 19 | High-performance Li-ion capacitor based on black-TiO2-x/graphene aerogel anode and biomass-derived microporous carbon cathode显示文摘Lithium-ion capacitor (LIC) has been regarded as a promising energy storage system with high powder density and high energy density.However,the kinetic mismatch between the anode and the cathode is a major issue to be solved.Here we report a high-performance asymmetric LIC based on oxygen-deficient black-TiO2-x/graphene (B-TiO2-x/G) aerogel anode and biomass derived microporous carbon cathode.Through a facile one-pot hydrothermal process,graphene nanosheets and oxygen-vacancy-rich porous B-TiO2-x/G nanosheets were self-assembled into three-dimensional (3D) interconnected B-TiO2-x/G aerogel.Owing to the rich active sites,high conductivity and fast kinetics,the B-TiO2-x/G aerogel exhibits remarkable reversible capacity,high rate capability and long cycle life when used as anode material for lithium ion storage.Moreover,density functional theory (DFT) calculation reveals that the incorporation of graphene nanosheets can reduce the energy barrier of Li^+ diffusion in B-TiO2-x.The asymmetric LIC based on B-TiO2-x/G aerogel anode and naturally-abundant pine-needles derived microporous carbon (MPC) cathode work well within a large voltage window (1.0-4.0 V),and can deliver high energy density (166.4 Wh·kg^-1 at 200 mA·g^-1),and high power density (7.9 kW·kg^-1 at 17.1 Wh·kg^-1).Moreover,the LIC shows a high capacitance retention of 87% after 3,000cycles at 2,000 mA·g^-1.The outstanding electrochemical performances indicate that the rationally-designed LICs have promising prospect to serve as advanced fast-charging energy storage devices. | Guoyin Zhu Lianbo Ma Huinan Lin Peiyang Zhao Lei Wang Yi Hu Renpeng Chen Tao Chen Yanrong Wang Zuoxiu Tie Zhong Jin | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,7: | 2 |
| 20 | Three-dimensional spongy framework as superlyophilic, strongly absorbing,and electrocatalytic polysulfide reservoir layer for high-rate and long-cycling lithiumsulfur batteries显示文摘In the development of lithium-sulfur (Li-S)batteries,various approaches have been adopted to enhance the electronic conductivity of the sulfur cathode and alleviate the shuttle effect of polysulfides;however,the strategies providing efficient solutions are still limited.To further improve the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries,in this work we propose a new strategy involving the incorporation of a three-dimensional functional spongy framework as polysulfide reservoir layer,with strong absorbability and electrocatalytic activity towards sulfur species.The spongy framework has a hierarchical architecture composed of highly conductive Ni foam/graphene/carbon nanotubes/MnO2nanoflakes (NGCM).The strongly interconnected Ni foam,graphene,and carbon nanotubes of the NGCM sponge facilitate electron transfer during discharge/charge processes;moreover,the superlyophilic properties of the NGCM sponge ensure good wettability and interface contact with the Li-S electrolyte,and the porous MnO2nanoflakes provide strong chemisorptive and electrocatalytic effects on polysulfides (as confirmed theoretically and experimentally).The NGCM sponge, serving as a polysulfide reservoir layer attached on a conventional sulfur-mixed carbon nanotubes (S/CNTs)cathode,can provide improved reversible capacity, rate capability (593mAh·g^-1at 3.0C),and cycling stability.In addition,the self-discharge rate is greatly reduced,owing to the efficient conservation of polysulfides in the NGCM spongy framework. | Lianbo Ma Guoyin Zhu Wenjun Zhang Peiyang Zhao Yi Hu Yanrong Wang Lei Wang Renpeng Chen Tao Chen Zuoxiu Tie Jie Liu Zhong Jin | 2018 | Nano Research2018,11,12: | 2 |
