4Embryonic development and organogenesis of Chinese giant salamander,Andrias davidianus显示文摘The morphology and organogenesis of Chinese giant salamander, Andrias davidianus, in its different developmental periods and stages are described in detail, which provides an intact criterion for distinguishing different stages of its developmental process. Based on the external morphological and internal histological features, six periods including 20 stages of organogenesis of Chinese giant salamander are established, which are cleavage period, blastula period, gastrula period, neurula period, organogenesis stage and hatching stage. Generally, the embryonic development of Chinese giant salamander is consistent with those of Eastern newt, Cynops orientalis, and Black spots frog, R. nigromaculata. However, they have some differences in the early cleavage process and the development of digestive system. The cleavage of Chinese giant salamander, A. davidianus is not a discoidal division type, which is different from other species reported. 5Improving harvest efficiency of maize varieties via accumulated temperature in a certain planting area显示文摘The ripening and drying of maize(Zea mays L.)grain are closely related to temperature.In accordance with maize grain drying characteristics,regional accumulated temperature(AT0≥0℃)distribution is of great significance for a rational allocation of maize varieties,thus reducing grain moisture content(MC)to improve maize harvest efficiency.From 2016 to 2018,a multi-site trial was carried out in the spring maize production area of Northeastern China.In this study,under a guaranteed rate of 80%for AT0,this area was divided into 15 accumulated temperature zones(ATZs)with an interval of 100℃ based on climatic data of 78 local weather stations.Then the AT0 demand of different maize varieties during different growth stages was calculated by combining experimental records with the established prediction model of MC,and then,the spatial partition for different types of maize varieties under different MCs was analyzed.The results showed that all the tested varieties could not reach physiological maturity(PM)at ATZs 13-15,hence,where maize planting is risky.With the increasing accumulated temperature demand of different types of maize varieties from planting to PM,to the MC of 25%and to the MC of 20%,the unplantable areas were gradually expanded from south to north while the region where the maize varieties could be harvested under different MCs was also moved southwardly.Additionally,at 1-2 ATZs,it is entirely possible to achieve mechanical kernel harvesting under the MC of 20%,even though the AT0 requirements of the varieties are relatively high.Conclusively,on the grounds of AT0 demand law of maize varieties and heat resource distribution in Northeastern China,the layout optimization for achieving different harvesting scenarios is conducive to providing a basis not only for selecting suitable varieties but also for promoting mechanical kernel harvesting in the spring maize production area of this region.Zhaofu Huang Liangyu Hou Jun Xue Keru Wang Ruizhi Xie Peng Hou Bo Ming Shaokun Li 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,4:1

8Response of Different Varieties of Red Cartridge Kiwifruit to Temperature and Precipitation in Growth Stages显示文摘The responses of Hongyang,Donghong and Jinhong varieties to temperature and precipitation were analyzed by observing the growth stages of different kiwifruit varieties in Longhe red cartridge kiwifruit base of Liuzhi Special Zone of Guizhou Province in 2021 and combining with the meteorological data of temperature and precipitation in the base in the same period.The results showed that Hongyang,Donghong and Jinhong all sprouted on February 1,and had the same response to temperature and precipitation.From germination to leaf spreading stage,Hongyang and Donghong had the same response to precipitation,while Donghong and Jinhong had the same response to temperature,but Jinhong needed 32.5 mm precipitation to meet its growth and development.From leaf spreading stage to budding stage,Hongyang and Donghong had similar responses to temperature and precipitation,while Jinhong needed average daily temperature of 16.5℃and precipitation of 2.1 mm.The responses of the three varieties from budding to flowering to temperature and precipitation were consistent.From flowering to fruiting,Hongyang needed 19.9℃temperature and the least precipitation,while Jinhong needed the lowest temperature and the maximum precipitation.Donghong's response to temperature and precipitation was between Hongyang and Jinhong.During the period from fruit setting to fruit ripening and picking,Hongyang needed the least temperature and precipitation,while Donghong and Jinhong had the same response to temperature and precipitation.In the key period of fruit expansion of the three kiwifruit varieties in 2021,temperature and precipitation were the most suitable for fruit expansion.In short,red cartridge kiwifruit has a good response to temperature and precipitation in different growth stages,and it requires 201 d for Hongyang variety from germination to maturity and picking,211 d for Donghong variety and 218 d for Jinhong variety.Lijuan LIU Liangyu PENG Zaixiang CHI Bo LI Jinmei CHEN Tianfu HUANG 2022Meteorological and Environmental Research2022,13,2:0
