1Whole-Genome Resequencing of a Worldwide Collection of Rapeseed Accessions Reveals the Genetic Basis of Ecotype Divergence显示文摘Rapeseed (Brassica napus),an important oilseed crop,has adapted to diverse climate zones and latitudes by forming three main ecotype groups,namely winter,semiwinter,and spring types. However,genetic variations underlying the divergence of these ecotypes are largely unknown. Here,we report the global pattern of genetic polymorphisms in rapeseed determined by resequencing a worldwide collection of 991 germplasm accessions.A total of 5.56 and 5.53 million singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)as Well as 1.86 and 1.92 million InDels were identified by mapping reads to the reference genomes of 'Darmor-bzh'and 'Tapidor,'respectively.We generated a map of allelic drift paths that shows splits and mixtures of the main populations,and revealed an asymmetric evolution of the two subgenomes of B.napus by calculating the genetic diversity and linkage disequilibrium parameters.Selective-sweep analysis revealed genetic changes in genes orthologous to those regulating various aspects of plant development and response to stresses.A genome-wide association study identified SNPs in the promoter regions of FLOWERING LOCUS T and FLOWERING LOCUS C orthologs that corresponded to the different rapeseed ecotype groups. 2Diagnostic value of 5 serum biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma with different epidemiological backgrounds:A large-scale,retrospective study显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a lethal global disease that requires an accurate diagnosis.We assessed the potential of 5 serum biomarkers(AFP,AFU,GGT-II,GPC3,and HGF)in the diagnosis of HCC.Methods:In this retrospective study,we measured the serum levels of each biomarker using ELISAs in 921 participants,including 298 patients with HCC,154 patients with chronic hepatitis(CH),122 patients with liver cirrhosis(LC),and 347 healthy controls from 3 hospitals.Patients negative for hepatitis B surface antigen and hepatitis C antibody(called'NBNC-HCC')and patients positive for the above indices(called'HBV-HCC and HCV-HCC')were enrolled.The selected diagnostic model was constructed using a training cohort(n=468),and a validation cohort(n=453)was used to validate our results.Receiver operating characteristic analysis was used to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy.Results:Theα-L-fucosidase(AFU)/α-fetoprotein(AFP)combination was best able to distinguish NBNC-HCC[area under the curve:0.986(95%confidence interval:0.958–0.997),sensitivity:92.6%,specificity:98.9%]from healthy controls in the test cohort.For screening populations at risk of developing HCC(CH and LC),the AFP/AFU combination improved the diagnostic specificity for early-stage HCC[area under the curve:0.776(0.712–0.831),sensitivity:52.5%,specificity:91.6%in the test group].In all-stage HBV-HCC and HCV-HCC,AFU was also the best candidate biomarker combined with AFP[area under the curve:0.835(0.784–0.877),sensitivity 69.1%,specificity:87.4%in the test group].All results were verified in the validation group.Conclusions:The AFP/AFU combination could be used to identify NBNC-HCC from healthy controls and hepatitis-related HCC from at-risk patients.Dongming Liu Yi Luo Lu Chen Liwei Chen Duo Zuo Yueguo Li Xiaofang Zhang Jing Wu Qing Xi Guangtao Li Lisha Qi Xiaofen Yue Xiehua Zhang Zhuoyu Sun Ning Zhang Tianqiang Song Wei Lu Hua Guo 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:10

4Pyridinic nitrogen enriched porous carbon derived from bimetal organic frameworks for high capacity zinc ion hybrid capacitors with remarkable rate capability显示文摘Aqueous zinc ion hybrid capacitors(ZIHCs)hold great potential for large-scale energy storage applications owing to their high safety and low cost,but suffer from low capacity and energy density.Herein,pyridinic nitrogen enriched porous carbon(nPC)was successfully synthesized via the growth,subsequent annealing and acid etching of bimetal organic frameworks for high capacity and safe ZIHCs with exceptional rate capability.Benefiting from the mesopores for easy ion diffusion,high electrical conductivity enabled by in-situ grown carbon nanotubes matrix and residual metal Co nanoparticles for fast electron transfer,sufficient micropores and high N content(8.9 at%)with dominated pyridinic N(54%)for enhanced zinc ion storage,the resulting nPC cathodes for ZIHCs achieved high capacities of 302 and137 m Ah g^(-1) at 1 and 18 A g^(-1),outperforming most reported carbon based cathodes.Theoretical results further disclosed that pyridinic N possessed larger binding energy of-4.99 eV to chemically coordinate with Zn2+than other N species.Moreover,quasi-solid-state ZIHCs with gelatin based gel electrolytes exhibited high energy density of 157.6 Wh kg^(-1) at 0.69 kW kg^(-1),high safety and mechanical flexibility to withstand mechanical deformation and drilling.This strategy of developing pyridinic nitrogen enriched porous carbon will pave a new avenue to construct safe ZIHCs with high energy densities.Yao Li Pengfei Lu Ping Shang Lisha Wu Xiao Wang Yanfeng Dong Ronghuan He Zhong-Shuai Wu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:3
5Decadal variations in the community status of economically important invertebrates in the Bohai Sea显示文摘With the decline of fish stocks,the proportions of economically important invertebrates like crustaceans and cephalopods have increased in the Bohai Sea.The community structure and trophic level of economically important invertebrates were analyzed using the bottom trawl survey data collected by the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute in the Bohai Sea in May and August of 1958–1959,1982,1992–1993,2004,2009 and 2015.A total of 37 species of economically important invertebrates,belonging to 5 orders,24 families,were captured.The biomass densities of economically important invertebrates in the Bohai Sea displayed an overall downward trend from 1982 to 2015.Oratosquilla oratoria and Loligo spp.were the most dominant species in the past 30 years,the biomass proportion of O.oratoria increased gradually in both May and August from 1982 to 2015.Moreover,biodiversity indices of economically important invertebrates in the Bohai Sea appeared to decline from 1982 to 2004 and then increased in 2015.Similarly,the mean trophic level of economically important invertebrates declined from 1982 to 2004 and increased slightly in 2015.Overall,although the proportions of invertebrates have increased,the biomass densities in the Bohai Sea have displayed an overall downward trend from 1982 to 2015.The increases in the biodiversity and trophic level of economically important invertebrates after the 2000s,possibly benefit from stock enhancement projects implemented by governments at different levels and national fishery management measures such as the“double-control”of the total number and engine power of fishing vessels and summer moratorium of fishing.Qiang Wu Lisha Guan Zhongyi Li Xiujuan Shan Xianshi Jin 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,10:3

7Methionine oxidation and reduction of the ethylene signaling component MaEIL9 are involved in banana fruit ripening显示文摘The ethylene insensitive 3/ethylene insensitive3-like(EIN3/EIL)plays an indispensable role in fruit ripening.However,the regulatory mechanism that links post-translational modification of EIN3/EIL to fruit ripening is largely unknown.Here,we studied the expression of 13 MaE IL genes during banana fruit ripening,among which MaE IL9 displayed higher enhancement particularly in the ripening stage.Consistent with its transcript pattern,abundance of MaE IL9 protein gradually increased during the ripening process,with maximal enhancement in the ripening.DNA affinity purification(DAP)-seq analysis revealed that MaE IL9 directly targets a subset of genes related to fruit ripening,such as the starch hydrolytic genes MaA MY3D and MaB AM1.Stably overexpressing MaE IL9 in tomato fruit hastened fruit ripening,whereas transiently silencing this gene in banana fruit retarded the ripening process,supporting a positive role of MaEIL9 in fruit ripening.Moreover,oxidation of methionines(Met-129,Met-130,and Met-282)in MaEIL9 resulted in the loss of its DNA-binding capacity and transcriptional activation activity.Importantly,we identified MaEIL9 as a potential substrate protein of methionine sulfoxide reductase A MaMsrA4,and oxidation of Met-129,Met-130,and Met-282in MaEIL9 could be restored by MaMsrA4.Collectively,our findings reveal a novel regulatory network controlling banana fruit ripening,which involves MaMsrA4-mediated redox regulation of the ethylene signaling component MaEIL9.Lisha Zhu Lin Chen Chaojie Wu Wei Shan Danling Cai Zengxiang Lin Wei Wei Jianye Chen Wangjin Lu Jianfei Kuang 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,1:1
8Semi-chemical interaction between graphitic carbon nitride and Pt for boosting photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Owing to the exorbitant overpotential and serious carrier recombination of graphitic carbon nitride(gC_(3)N_(4)),noble metal(NM)is usually served as the H_(2)evolution co-catalyst.Although the NM(such as Pt)nanoparticles can reduce the H_(2)evolution overpotential,the weak van der Waals interaction between Pt and g-C_(3)N_(4)makes against the charge transfer.Herein,the solvothermal method is developed to achieve semi-chemical interaction between Pt and g-C_(3)N_(4)nanotube(Pt-CNNT)for fast charge transfer.Moreover,the generated in-plane homojunction of CNNT can accelerate charge separation and restrain recombination.Meanwhile,the metallic Pt is an excellent H_(2)evolution co-catalyst.Photo/electrochemical tests verify that the semi-chemical interaction can improve photogenerated charge separation and transferability of CNNT.As a result,the photocatalytic H_(2)evolution turnover frequency(TOF)of Pt-CNNT under visible light irradiation reaches up to 918 h^(-1),which is one of the highest in the g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts.This work provides a new idea to improve the charge transfer for efficient photocatalytic H_(2)evolution.Ziai Zhong Lisha Chen Longshuai Zhang Feiyao Wu Xunheng Jiang Haiyan Liu Fengrong Lv Haiyang Xie Fanqi Meng Lingling Zheng Jianping Zou 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:1

11Effects of latitude gradient and seasonal variation on the community structure and biodiversity of commercially important crustaceans in the Yellow Sea and the northern East China Sea显示文摘To evaluate the spatio-temporal variations in the community structure and biodiversity of commercially important crustaceans in the Yellow Sea and the northern East China Sea(NECS),the seasonal and regional changes in species composition,biomass structure,biodiversity and distribution of commercially important species were analyzed using bottom trawl survey data during 2014-2015.The results showed that the latitudinal gradient was obvious in species richness,dominant species and biodiversity.The indices of biodiversity increased with the decreasing latitude.When the sampling sites shifted south by one latitudinal degree,Margalefs richness index(D),Pielou's evenness index(J')and Shannon-Wiener diversity index(H')increased by 0.10.0.03 and 0.09,respectively.The biomass proportion of the cold-temperate species represented by Crangon affinis declined with the decreasing latitude,and the warm-temperate species represented by Ovalipes punctatus and Portunus trituberculatus in creased.Because of the growth regulatio n of crustaceans and the fishing moratorium,the biomass of commercially important crustaceans in the Yellow Sea and NECS was highest in October and August,respectively.Salinity had a more significant influence on H'of commercially important crustaceans than other environmental factors(including zooplankton density,sea bottom temperature and water depth).Overall,the results of this study contribute to a better understanding of community dynamics of crustaceans in the Yellow Sea and NECS,and provide evidence to verify the latitudinal gradient theory in biodiversity.Qiang Wu Xiujuan Shan Xianshi Jin Yue Jin Fangqun Dai Yongqiang Shi Lisha Guan Tao Zuo Jianqiang Sun 2020Marine Life Science & Technology2020,2,2:0

13Prim-O-glucosylcimifugin ameliorates aging-impaired endogenous tendon regeneration by rejuvenating senescent tendon stem/progenitor cells显示文摘Adult tendon stem/progenitor cells(TSPCs)are essential for tendon maintenance,regeneration,and repair,yet they become susceptible to senescence with age,impairing the self-healing capacity of tendons.In this study,we employ a recently developed deep-learning-based efficacy prediction system to screen potential stemness-promoting and senescence-inhibiting drugs from natural products using the transcriptional signatures of stemness.The top-ranked candidate,prim-O-glucosylcimifugin(POG),a saposhnikovia root extract,could ameliorate TPSC senescent phenotypes caused by long-term passage and natural aging in rats and humans,as well as restore the self-renewal and proliferative capacities and tenogenic potential of aged TSPCs.In vivo,the systematic administration of POG or the local delivery of POG nanoparticles functionally rescued endogenous tendon regeneration and repair in aged rats to levels similar to those of normal animals.Mechanistically,POG protects TSPCs against functional impairment during both passage-induced and natural aging by simultaneously suppressing nuclear factor-κB and decreasing mTOR signaling with the induction of autophagy.Thus,the strategy of pharmacological intervention with the deep learning-predicted compound POG could rejuvenate aged TSPCs and improve the regenerative capacity of aged tendons.Yu Wang Shanshan Jin Dan Luo Danqing He Min Yu Lisha Zhu Zixin Li Liyuan Chen Chengye Ding Xiaolan Wu Tianhao Wu Weiran Huang Xuelin Zhao Meng Xu Zhengwei Xie Yan Liu 2023Bone Research2023,11,4:0

15Decentralized Heterogeneous Federal Distillation Learning Based on Blockchain显示文摘Load forecasting is a crucial aspect of intelligent Virtual Power Plant(VPP)management and ameans of balancing the relationship between distributed power grids and traditional power grids.However,due to the continuous emergence of power consumption peaks,the power supply quality of the power grid cannot be guaranteed.Therefore,an intelligent calculation method is required to effectively predict the load,enabling better power grid dispatching and ensuring the stable operation of the power grid.This paper proposes a decentralized heterogeneous federated distillation learning algorithm(DHFDL)to promote trusted federated learning(FL)between different federates in the blockchain.The algorithm comprises two stages:common knowledge accumulation and personalized training.In the first stage,each federate on the blockchain is treated as ameta-distribution.After aggregating the knowledge of each federate circularly,the model is uploaded to the blockchain.In the second stage,other federates on the blockchain download the trained model for personalized training,both of which are based on knowledge distillation.Experimental results demonstrate that the DHFDL algorithmproposed in this paper can resist a higher proportion of malicious code compared to FedAvg and a Blockchain-based Federated Learning framework with Committee consensus(BFLC).Additionally,by combining asynchronous consensus with the FL model training process,the DHFDL training time is the shortest,and the training efficiency of decentralized FL is improved.Hong Zhu Lisha Gao Yitian Sha Nan Xiang Yue Wu Shuo Han 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,76,9:0
16Single-cell analyses reveal cannabidiol rewires tumor microenvironment via inhibiting alternative activation of macrophage and synergizes with anti-PD-1 in colon cancer显示文摘Colorectal tumors often create an immunosuppressive microenvironment that prevents them from responding to immunotherapy.Cannabidiol(CBD)is a non-psychoactive natural active ingredient from the cannabis plant that has various pharmacological effects,including neuroprotective,antiemetic,anti-inflammatory,and antineoplastic activities.This study aimed to elucidate the specific anticancer mechanism of CBD by single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)and single-cell ATAC sequencing(scATAC-seq)technologies.Here,we report that CBD inhibits colorectal cancer progression by modulating the suppressive tumor microenvironment(TME).Our single-cell transcriptome and ATAC sequencing results showed that CBD suppressed M2-like macrophages and promoted M1-like macrophages in tumors both in strength and quantity.Furthermore,CBD significantly enhanced the interaction between M1-like macrophages and tumor cells and restored the intrinsic anti-tumor properties of macrophages,thereby preventing tumor progression.Mechanistically,CBD altered the metabolic pattern of macrophages and related anti-tumor signaling pathways.We found that CBD inhibited the alternative activation of macrophages and shifted the metabolic process from oxidative phosphorylation and fatty acid oxidation to glycolysis by inhibiting the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-protein kinase B signaling pathway and related downstream target genes.Furthermore,CBD-mediated macrophage plasticity enhanced the response to anti-programmed cell death protein-1(PD-1)immunotherapy in xenografted mice.Taken together,we provide new insights into the anti-tumor effects of CBD.Xiaofan Sun Lisha Zhou Yi Wang Guoliang Deng Xinran Cao Bowen Ke Xiaoqi Wu Yanhong Gu Haibo Cheng Qiang Xu Qianming Du Hongqi Chen Yang Sun 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,7:0

19Facile and controllable synthesis of amino-modified carbon dots for efficient oil displacement显示文摘Zero-dimensional(0D)carbon dots exhibit excellent potential as a new oil-displacing agent for unconventional reservoir development.However,the difficulty in size/surface properties control and unclear mechanism hinder their further applications.In this study,amino-modified carbon dots(am-CDs)for oil displacement were facilely synthesized through the rapid polymerization of D-glucose(D-Glc)and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES).The size of am-CDs could be precisely controlled by the reaction condition and quenching achieved by adjusting the pH value to neutral.The surface amine groups endow am-CDs with excellent hydrophilicity and dispersion stability.The 0.30 wt.%nanofluid based on am-CDs with an average size of 2.6±0.040 nm showed remarkable oil recovery efficiency(54.09%)without the addition of surfactant.The oil recovery efficiency of am-CDs is much higher than those of water flooding(30.25%),nano-SiO_(2) flooding(36.45%),and amino-free carbon dots(af-CDs)flooding(37.80%).Experimental and theoretical results reveal that am-CDs can be favorably adsorbed on the core surface to modulate the micro-scale wettability,changing the surface from oil-wet to relatively uniform water-wet.Meanwhile,am-CDs can effectively reduce the adhesion force between alkanes and sandstone surfaces,contributing to oil droplets peeling off and oil displacement.This study provides a new strategy for developing efficient carbon dots-based nanofluids for enhanced oil recovery.Yining Wu Lisha Tang Mengjiao Cao Li Li Kai Liu Demin Kong Qingshan Zhao Xu Jin He Liu Caili Dai 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
20Patternable and transferable silver nanowire conductors via plasma-enhanced cryo-transferring process towards highly stretchable and transparent capacitive touch sensor array显示文摘Stretchable transparent electrode(STE)plays a key role in numerous emerging applications as an indispensable component for future stretchable devices.The embedded STE,as a promising candidate,possesses balanced performances and facile preparation procedures.However,it still suffers from the defects of conductive materials caused by the transferring,which results in the irreversible failure of devices.In this work,a patternable silver nanowire(AgNW)STE was fabricated by a plasma-enhanced cryo-transferring(PEC-transferring)process.Owing to the plasma-induced sintering,the AgNW network obtained remarkable improvement in robustness,which ensured the intact network after transferring and thus led to superior tensile electrical properties of the STE.Furthermore,serpentine patterns were utilized to optimize the tensile electrical properties of the STE,which achieved a figure of merit of 292.8 and 150%resistance changing under 50%strain.As a practical application,a 4×3 array of the mutual-capacitive type stretchable touch sensors was demonstrated for future touch sensors in stretchable devices.The PEC-transferring process opened a new avenue for patternable embedded STEs and exhibited its high potential in wearable electronics and the Internet of Thing devices.Yifan Gu Zhiguang Qiu Simu Zhu Hao Lu Lisha Peng Gaofan Zhang Ziyi Wu Xuchun Gui Zong Qin Bo-ru Yang 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
